I would give this Inn/Resort 6 Stars if I could! Every year it gets better. The staff and owners make everyone feel welcome and create an atmosphere of camaraderie and relaxation throughout the day. The rooms, grounds, pool, and hot tub are meticulously maintained and you can tell that they are investing yearly into the property. I just got back and this year they had an entire super powerful Wifi system through the resort. They are always renovating rooms, grounds, bathrooms etc. Finally, the best service — — — and I've stayed at the finest hotels all over the world. They really do everything possible to make your stay amazing.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and loved the place. Our room was by no means over the top (there was some wacky air conditioning that made things a little moist), but for what time we spent there, it was fine. The shower was VERY nice. While this place is off the beaten path a little bit, it’s a block to the main drag and a fairly easy walk to the beach. Staff were friendly and the complimentary happy hour/other amenities (pool, hot tub, etc) were a great touch. We would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return!

Have been visiting Provincetown for about 4 years now and always enjoy staying at the Brass Key. Key reasons — pun intended, centrally located, free parking, nice pool, large hot tub for chilly nights to soak those muscles, and the wine and cheese hour at 5pm every night is fantastic. I would rather relax by the pool on a hot day instead of drudging to the boat slip if I were to lodge at a facility with out a pool. Some of the rooms have queen beds some have king, just decide when booking. The only thing I noticed was the Wi-Fi could be a tad slow. The staff has always been great, never really had an issue other than when they had new cleaning staff and noticed long hairs in the shower, we complained and they took care of the issue right away, which was pleasing. The continental breakfast is your average breakfast with hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, and a hot option too, hey it's summer trying to maintain your pool bod. If you would rather have have eggs, home fries etc, there are a ton of options in town. Plenty of coffee and water all day long. They also serve cookies /chilled lemonade by the pool during the summer months. As for the evening, the Shipwreck Lounge is a nice hot spot right on the grounds, which gets busy and serves good drinks, plenty of seating with a fire pit and large waterfall.

Centrally located. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Jacuzzi tub in the room is a very nice touch.

Had another fabulous stay at the Brass Key. Can’t say enough about this hotel and its staff. Every time we stay it just gets better and better. We love our room and really enjoy breakfast in the gardens and relaxing in the hot tub. The onsite Shipwreck Lounge is a great amenity too. Wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else!

My boyfriend and I stayed in a superior king room and we absolutely loved it! Wine and cheese hour is perfect, the atmosphere is great for the Cape and the service was phenomenal. We're looking forward to returning in the future!

Went there for a wedding. It was very scenic, pool was beautiful, and reception was short and sweet. The did a great job accommodating so many people.

We had a wonderful time at the Brass Key this past summer. The grounds are stunning and our room was very comfortable and spotless. We became friends with some of the staff as they are very friendly but not overbearing. From the Brass Key you can walk to everything in town. We booked a week for this coming summer.

For my first visit to Provincetown and Cape Cod, I stayed at The Brass Key Guesthouse for a few days in early October. I was traveling alone, after visiting friends in Boston, and hoped for a luxurious but laid back place to stay and explore Provincetown and the surrounding bike trails and beaches. I was very, very pleased with all aspects of my stay! The Brass Key is a very comfortable, pleasant guesthouse with very attentive staff, all while not feeling "fussy". I chose The Brass Key based on its location, their website and a travel review site. I was thrilled with the choice. It is ideally located at a comfortable 1-2 block walk down to the midpoint of Commercial Street and a 5 minute drive or 10-15 minute bike ride from Herring Cove Beach and not much further to Race Point Beach and the Provinceland Bike trails. During my stay in October, my room was quiet and restful, despite being on the first floor. The room (130) is decorated with antiques, but again wasn't fussy, and included a gas fireplace and a wonderful large bath with whirlpool tub and double sized shower. I loved the Khiel's bath products! I had ordered a cheese plate to be waiting in my room on check in day, in case I was late arriving and had the munchies (both turned out to be the case). The cheese plate was huge and lovely and included a variety of cheeses, crackers and fruit… I stored it in the room refrigerator and snacked on it over my stay.

We stayed here for a wedding. It was the perfect venue. Rooms were well-appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This was my first stay in Provincetown. The Brass Key is perfectly located in the heart of all the downtown action. We were able to walk everywhere from our hotel. We stayed in the Penthouse. The guesthouses' architecture and decor is fitting of the charm and appeal of P-Town. It was comfortable to stay in, but because the guesthouses are segmented to create multiple rooms, the flow from the kitchen to the living room to the bedroom and to the bathroom did not transition well. The bathroom in the Penthouse Suite included a whirlpool bathtub and a separate shower for two. The room was relatively clean, but the caulk in the shower had a little bit of mold. The view from the penthouse deck was very nice — overlooking the water and the town. The staff was friendly and very attentive. One of the staff members went to find me a large band-aid and antibiotic ointment for a large wound that I had sustained on my heel the day that I arrived. Everyone who lives and works in P-Town welcomes every new guest and makes him or her feel at home.

This was an incredibly beautiful property. Too bad we weren't able to use the hot tub and pool as our visit was in December for New Year's. BRRRRR! The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great and we even had a sample of Joe's Breadpudding! YUMMMY>>> Can't wait to return in the summer. We have already made our vacation plans.

For the ones that have seen it all. A real gem. A mini ritz carlton made for ptown. Been there 4 times.
