Totally enjoyable place to stay. Close to the ferry, but far enough away that you would never know it was there. Clean, comfortable rooms with kind welcoming staff. Great breakfast on the beautiful patio. A total 10

The staff were incredible, both Sharon & Connor. They had everything we needed, great advice too and breakfasts they prepared were nothing short of delicious & incredible. They had beach chairs & towels ready for us and made our stay on the island so easy for the first time. The location is perfect too. Walking distance to the center and all the WAVE stops to explore the island. Could not have asked for a better spot for our first visit to the island.

Staff is very friendly, pleasant, and accommodating, the room was bright, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfasts made to order were delicious, and the location was excellent, just a short walk to ferry, shopping, and restaurants! Will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed at The Brass Lantern Inn for our 35th wedding anniversary. The Inn is quaint and the service is wonderful. Although it was during COVID, we still felt we received personal attention. The breakfast was very tasty (try their homemade granola) and was always prompt. (I mentioned how much I loved the cinnamon scone and they gave me one each day even though it wasn’t on the menu).
The room was beautifully decorated and we were able to check in early. With our room on the third floor, we had complete privacy.
When we toured the island the Inn provided us with beach chairs and towels. We loved the outdoor courtyard and enjoyed a bottle of wine, around the fire pit, chatting with the other guests. We will return to Nantucket and stay at The Brass Lantern Inn. The Innkeeper, Sharon, is lovely (as is the entire staff).

Great location right near town. Walk anywhere! The Inn is immaculate inside and out! Staff is very helpful and accommodating! Wonderful breakfast in the garden to start each day! All around excellent!

Gorgeous, fabulous comfy room, yummy breakfast w cheeses, fresh fruits, and spreads, so conveniently located, and beautiful garden outside to rest and visit. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

We loved staying in the brass lantern! It was beautifully decorated and well kept! Lisa was fantastic and so sweet to our dog Pippa, providing her with a bed, treats, food and water bowls! I didn’t make it out of bed in time for her breakfast but it smelled amazing! And the fresh baked cookings in the afternoon were unreal! Thanks for taking such good care of us!

This is the place to stay on Nantucket Island! Lisa and her staff were so super friendly and nice and accommodating! The breakfast is out of this world, beautiful rooms and garden, also Stella was welcomed with open arms can't wait to come back!

It's a great place to stay and a quick walk from main street. They have amazing breakfast and all of the workers are very nice. They have great service and the owner is willing to sit and give you advice on what you could do for the day.

Came for daffodil weekend. Right next to down town a 2 min walk or less. Great price and a great nantucket feel. I highly recommend the brass lantern inn.

The Brass Lantern Inn is incredibly well-located and provides a high-quality experience in an historic building. The owners are great people and are the reason this inn is still successful. Bonus points for being pet-friendly.

We had a great mother-daughter getaway in Nantucket thanks to the Brass Lantern Inn. The location is perfect and a quick walk from the ferry with our bikes in tow. Breakfast is delicious every morning and the inn keepers are all very nice. Best part is they even have beach chairs with built in back packs for guests to use which is perfect for trips to the beach! Would highly recommend :)

Excellent stay. Pet friendly.

A perfect and lovely stay that in the end felt too short. The house was beautiful and all the innkeeper and staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and always helpful. In fact, on the morning I left, I had to leave an hour before they were scheduled to serve breakfast and Emily, the housekeeper, even made sure to have things set up early enough for me to have a bowl of their homemade granola and a cup of coffee. Convenient and centrally located. I recommend it highly.

The Brass Lantern Inn was perfect! My husband and I chose the Brant Point room — we had beautiful views of the Nantucket town harbour. The service was amazing, breakfasts were delicious with a variety of options and the tea and coffee during the evening were a plus. Very peaceful backyard to enjoy wine at sunset! The location was close to the Steamship dock and easy to access the whole town. Safe bike and car parking — perfect vacation! Beautiful and clean with great New England charm. We will definitely visit again! Thank you.
