Upscale yet family atmosphere. Breakfast was amazing. The non stop chocolate chip cookies were to die for.

"This old house" is now one of the finest hotels on the island. The rooms can be a bit on the small side but it really feels like you're staying at a friend's place. The staff are all super helpful and the freshly made breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended.

Lovely clean room and comfy bed. Fabulously professional staff provided exceptional service. Enjoyed being within walking distance of shops, restaurants and ferry. Thanks for making our first visit to Nantucket wonderfully memorable.

My husband and I, loved this place, great location, walking distance from the ferry. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is clean and very well maintained. The room was spacious, the bed was so comfortable and the shower was great. The hotel had many personal touches that made our stay Wonderful. The breakfast was healthy and very good served in the kitchen style cafe. I almost forgot, they make homemade chocolate chip cookies for the guest, which made us love this place even more. We will return and We recommend 76 Main, when visiting Nantucket.

My husband and I stayed at 76 Main for the Daffodil Festival Weekend in Nantucket and were so thrilled with our experience. The historic home was sweetly renovated in a classic (yet also modern) way that felt styled yet also so homey. The staff was extremely thoughtful and friendly — it was clear they loved the island and wanted us to have an amazing experience while we were there. The intentional approach to their hospitality was incredible. From the overall ambiance to the little details — like Cisco Brewers beers in our room upon arrival and fresh baked sea salt chocolate chip cookies constantly stocked in the kitchen, to the crisp bathrobes with bright blue trim details and well curated soap/bath products. Not a detail was overlooked. What a gem!

My wife and I had an amazing stay here during the daffodil festival. They make you feel like you are visiting an old friend. Would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

I booked 18 months ago a for a pre-season family trip. Due to an extreme situation, I had to cancel. I spoke with Dan and shared the very personal and sad news. I was told that a credit would be given and to call to re-book. Over the next 18 months, I tried to return to the Island and to use the credit. I booked and re-booked several times, re-telling my story and trying to use my credit. Finally, the Columbus Day weekend came up as an option. I re-booked my flights and called the hotel again. I was told that my credit would cover the rooms and that I was "all set". I called several times in September to confirm, receiving the same answer. When I arrived, I was told that I had a $500 balance! I asked to speak to a manager. Over the next three days, I was emailed and stopped to "settle" my bill. I asked every time to speak to the now manager, Ryan. Being stalked over a holiday weekend while paying for a tiny room where you couldn't enter the loo without bumping the bed! The hotel staff was average and the overall experience doesn't merit the high prices. After another round of hostile emails from Ryan, I met him at the front desk. He agreed that I had tried to re-book and I would only be charged $300! This was extortion. When I learned of our delayed flight, he seemed nonplussed and went about his business. I have stayed at before. Will never do so again I found the stalking extremely offensive and the tone of the emails unprofessional.

My wife and I love this place. The breakfast buffet is to die for. Nice people with a knack for making their guests feel really welcome! We will return.

Amazingly quaint, beautiful inn. Cozy courtyard to relax in and enjoy your own cocktails. Staff is friendly and informative. Perfect location.
