About 7 minutes away from monument mountain. After we left, my boyfriend said there was mold on the walls but I didn't notice it. The room was a nice size and had a loveseat and a small table with two chairs. The TV was an old CRT style. No DVD player or anything. The staff was very friendly and nice. The price was reasonable. Great Barrington is pretty boring though.

The owner was impeccably courteous, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. Good value for the money. We will definitely consider returning there next time we're in the area, primarily because of the attentive and excellent service.

This place is immaculate! I live locally but had to stay here during a snow storm after work. Everyone was so friendly and I was so impressed with how clean it was not to mention the great rates! This is a much better choice than the larger chain hotels in the area.

This is a great place to stay;very affordable. Extremely quiet because it sits back from the road yet is near restaurants, etc. Nice walk in shower. I found it exceptionally clean and would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, well worth the price! Most of the hotels in town were much higher… Pleasantly surprised with everything, clean, comfortable… great view of the foliage.

Spent a very pleasant weekend here dropping my son off for his freshman year at Simon's Rock college. It was clean, quiet, and convenient. The staff was exceptionally helpful; the desk clerk even loaned me his cell phone for about 20 minutes so I could contact my cell carrier to get my service restored. They were also very understanding when, due to a miscalculation on my part, we didn't show up until 2am our first night. Great service! — Tony.

My husband and I were spending a weekend in the Berkshires for a couple of concerts at Tanglewood. After reading reviews of this motel online, I went ahead and booked. The inn-keeper was lovely and clearly wanted to accommodate us. When we arrived, we were really pleased to find that it was as we had hoped. Clean, comfortable, a nice location — easy to access Great Barrington and plenty of other great spots — and an easy drive to the concerts. Highly recommended if you are looking for a no-frills night's sleep! Perfect for the price — especially in an area where it is so hard to find anything affordable.

There is no motel closer than this one. The hotel staff was great. We arrived late one night during the middle of a snowstorm and they waited for our arrival. The room was warm and the beds were comnfortable, plenty of hot water. We stayed two nights this trip and another single night a few weeks later. I would definately recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay less than a mile from the mountain.
