Nice rooms but it's under reconstruction. Give it some time.

Rooms are a little small but for an older motel that's been modernized. It was very good value for the price. Offer standard continental breakfast. We saw a few things that needed attention but nothing that affected functionality. Staff was quiet but very friendly.

It'll work for a place to lay your head. Come late and may take a bit to wake someone.

Front desk clerk was helpful and speedy. Room is good sized, clean, and has microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Bathroom was fine, but in both the shower and sink has the water reversed (hot is cold and vice versa). Location is a bit north of the main street shopping and eating but not too far to walk.

One of the worst 'hotel' experiences ever! Rooms are extremely dated, full of mystery stains and our bathroom sink handles would come off. "Breakfast" is a few plastic wrapped muffins — coffee was constantly 'unavailable'. Forget about laundry — the house staff washes all the linens in the machines for the guests. If you can push in your quarters — the hopper was so full, one had to shake the machine to get the quarters in — the only option was HOT as that's what they use, along with bleach, to disinfect linens. The only nice thing going for the place is the outside/pool area. Make sure to bring lots of bug spray — they don't treat the lawn. I went swimming one morning and was scolded by the manager because, 'the inspector was coming to test the pH of the water and if they don't pass, they'll have to close the pool… ' I thought to myself — if one swimmer in a pool sets off red flags, then something is definitely not right. I would avoid this place at all costs and someone from Travelodge corporation should revoke their name from this establishment. Start saving now if you must, so you can stay in someplace better.

February 2015. Clean, comfortable beds. Breakfast was weak, but in a neat lobby and coffee was good. In-room coffee machine is a joke. If you're going to have it, you have to do better than providing a coffee tea-bag. Our room key had been disabled when we returned from skiing, which would not be a big deal if someone was attending the desk in the office.

This is a palace compared to the trash I booked in Vermont. Will be a Travelodge customer forever.

JEWEL in Great Barrington Massachusetts We decided to stay here, because they have a great reputation for cleanliness, and service. We live in Boston Massachusetts, about 3 Hrs away. We absolutely loved this place, and I certainly recommend anyone who coming out this way, to book a room here, as a matter of fact, I have company from Florida visiting in October, and I'm going to book a room for them for three days. There was a gentleman there, I believe his name was Ray, super nice very accommodating, every request I made, he took serious, but I got to say everyone there was very helpful, and considerate. This is a JEWEL in Great Barrington Massachusetts, do yourself a favor check this place out.

We stayed here 8/31-9/1/2009. We found it to be clean, comfortable, quiet. Had a king size bed in large room, table and 2 chairs for eating dinner from nearby restaurants. TV, Pool available. Price excellent with discount coupons from the book picked up at entry to the state at visitors' center. Light breakfast and free newspaper. Perhaps there is new management since some of the poor reviews listed prior to this one. Also, a washer and dryer available. Near to many tourist attractions in nearby Stockbridge, etc.
