Made special arrangements for check-in 2 days ago. Upon driving three hours was told they couldn't honor the special arrangements. Woman that I spoke with told me to ask for her if I had any problems that she'd be in. She's not in today. Lied to twice. Really not happy.

Dirty room. No air conditioning that works. No TV signal … poor customer service. Rugs in common areas soiled.

Beware! We stayed at this hotel in May 2021 and our motorcycle was damaged on their parking lot sometime during the night. The hotel assured us when checking in our motorcycle was within view of their security camera but the manager waited too long to check the camera so it was overwritten. To make a long story short, just beware, if your vehicle gets damaged on this hotel property they do NOT have insurance to cover your vehicles damage. 😩

Good personnel. Man fixed my clock. Very nicr jacuzzis.

The continental breakfast was very good with exceptional coffee. Overnight stay price is reasonable.

Nice hotel in Great Barrington. It is clean throughout the premises and close to local restaurants. A special shoutout to Cassady. She works the front desk but did everything possible to make my stay enjoyable e. G. Bringing up an extra blanket and pillow or finding Advil for my daughter.

Highly recommended! Extremely clean room and bathroom! pillows, sheets and duvets are super soft and clean, had a amazing stay indeed!

The inside of this hotel was not updated since it was built. The staff was less then accommodating. I found a dead bug on my mattresses upon walking in my room.

Nice but for the quality pricy. Elevators were broken apparently for 2 weeks.

Awful customer service. Charged my account more than originally stated. Won't issue a refund. Smelly rooms with paper thin walls. Trash.

Worst hotel in the area! The hotel is shabby and unclean. The first time we stayed there, the toilet overflowed which they wouldn't fix and they did not have another room for us. The second time we tried to stay, the credit card machine wasn't working. They blamed my card even though they admitted that it happened to three other customers that day. Instead of putting us up until it worked it self out they left my family and I standing in the lobby refusing to give me my reserved room. Luckily the Days Inn had a room and the receptionist was wonderful. There was nothing wrong with my card and she saved us from sleeping in the mini van on college drop off weekend. Never stay here unless you want to leave with little crawly critters in your suitcase!

Great hotel and staff. Was here for a wedding and we weren't the most tame of a group, but staff was always accommodating and never complained which made our stay more memorable. Only complaint is that weekend stay was a 2 night minimum that we didn't need but we made the best of it.

Courteous and professional staff as well as clean.

My wife and I and our 2 young children stayed here over Presidents' Day Weekend and one morning after breakfast my wife and son went back to the room to use the bathroom before we checked out and departed only find one of the staff had let themselves in and decided to relieve themselves in our room's lav. Needless to say calls into question the professionalism of the staff and the overall cleanliness of the grounds. When we called to complain the manager that we spoke to spent more time discussing the timestamp of their surveillance videos (which was way off) as opposed to addressing our concerns. Lack of responsibility by management, professionalism of the staff and now a clear lack of a functioning security systems puts this property at the top of 'must skip' going forward.

Staff is super friendly, espically Mr. Franck. Rooms were clean, frige and microwave clean as well. The hot tub was hot and pool area clean as well. Breakfast was simple but filling.

Nice stay overall. Room felt a little dated compared to others in the brand I've stayed with. Short on power outlets.

Room was very nice. There was minor wear and tear along the trimming of the walls. The man running breakfast was super nice.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful Location. Facilities provided at hotel and services offered to us were incredible at best price. I would recommend Holiday Inn if you are a couple. They have beautiful Jacuzzi Suite.

Not for business travelers that have to leave early. Could not even get coffee. Rude morning staff. Beautiful area. Nice hotel. Don't expect much from staff.

I love Holiday Inn Great Barrington We stayed here during James Taylor July 4th weekend. Indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi worked perfect and breakfast was good. We had Non Smoking Two Queen Bed room was spacious, Bathroom and Room was clean. During check in time we asked for extra towels and within minute they gave us.

Best Tanglewood Experience this summer staying at Holiday Inn Express. Express Start Breakfast was awesome. Suite Room was Beautiful and Hotel Staff were well behaved and friendly. I have stayed in many hotels in Berkshires but this was the best among them.

I stayed here for two nights with my reward points. They charged 25, 000 points per nite which is usually the number of points required for a resort or beach front property. This place is only worth 10, 000 points per night — — so save your points for something that has good value as this place doesn't. Rooms need to be updated as they are dark and dingy, the furniture is old and very, very uncomfortable, and the temperature was difficult to regulate. The breakfast was just awful — — the bananas were far too ripe, they were out of yogurt, the juices were watered down, the muffins were tasteless, the toaster didn't toast, and the coffee was average, at best when the pots weren't empty. Although this is a non-smoking facility, they designated a smoking area with a bench next to my room's window — — brilliant! Smokers made lots of noise into the evening. I am a Holiday Inn Platinum Club member so I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Expresses and this is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a negative review.

I tried reserving a block of rooms for a wedding, and after I spoke with the sales manager and set it all up, all he was supposed to do was e-mail me a contract to sign. It never happened. I made phone calls, and was just sent to voicemail, my phone calls were never returned. It's been two months and still I haven't heard from them. I will NOT be reserving my rooms from them. If they cannot care enough to hit "send" why would they do anything else for me or my guests.
