There is an all day dance festival going on in the hotel and by 1 a. M. The bathrooms are trashed with no toilet paper and all the front desk could say was that their is no housekeeping on premise. The festival will go well into 3 a. M. Could you find some toilet paper?

Overall an excellent experience! Starbucks located in the building was a great bonus as well :).

Just hold a conference there. They have the most amazing staff, great layout, really nice guest rooms! And amazing food!

The staff is very nice. Attentive. Pool is good. Restaurant nice but a bit expensive. Because of the nice staff we would go again.

Great hotel overall. Great location and amenities. Pretty good restaurant. Only downsides are there's not a lot of options for outdoor running, there aren't many walkable options for other food and beverage or a convenience store, and the bar closes at 11 (alomg with any option to get an adult beverage with room service! )

Staff was very accommodating to resolve some issues. Charming soft spaces and the hotel is in close proximity to shopping center. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Second time attending the Boston Salsa festival here. Very good facilities and the staff works hard to keep things clean when the volume of attendees is high (2, 000 people). The bartender at the relish bistro can be a bit snooty and needs a reminder to be courteous and attentive, which he is after you remind him. Parking can get a bit tight during showtime, but the hotel opens up additional parking for that. Do bear in mind that if you plan to park overnight, you will be charged, unlike other hotels in the area.

Went here for Sunday brunch with my friends and their 2 small children. There was a good selection at the buffet along with a waffle and omelette bar. The potatoes and omelette were a highlight for me. They were also good with the kids, providing kid's cups and checking in on us regularly. We would definitely return.

Tried to visit the lounge for a drink at 11:30 pm on a Saturday and was told it was closed by the front desk. The lounge was full but we figured they must be clearing out. Went to our room and saw that the hours were until 1 am. Went back down 30 minutes later to see and everyone was still enjoying themselves. It seems like we caught the front desk lady in a bad mood. Felt uncomfortable walking past the desk to go into the lounge after she clearly told us it was closed when it clearly was not. Unfortunately not really a good vibe after what has been an exceptional stay otherwise.

It is one of the best hotels in the area. It is mostly clean and well maintained. The rooms are however show wear and need renovation. The location is in the quite west part of metro Boston area. However, the hotel is located on the busy major highway I-95 so make sure you get a room facing the other way. If you need to be close to the downtown Boston, this is not the location to stay. Make sure you check your bill when you check out for inconsistencies. They are famous for charging extra stuff.

The Westin Waltham Boston is always a great stay. It's easy enough to get into, has an on-site parking structure (have to pay even though you are not in the city…), an OK fitness facility and pool. Highlights of this property include a decent buffet breakfast that can be had as a platinum amenity, a laid back bar lounge, and the Westin bed. I love the Westin bed, you will love it to. Tough love for this property is that I have stayed here ~5 times in the last 2 or 3 years. Every. Single. Stay. Has. Extra. Charges. I don't understand it. It's truly mind boggling. I have to call every time to question or change a charge that made its way onto my final folio. Do Better!

Everything went smoothly but overpriced for what it is. Room was nice, bed comfortable. Hallway noise came through wall, tub didn't drain well, bathroom door stuck. For 350 a night, expected a bit higher quality. Got breakfast at on-site restaurant, 44 dollars for 2 coffees, 2 omelettes and some fruit. Colleague ordered a Moscow mule one evening. It was sub par and 14 dollars.

There are not enough stars to rate this hotel. It is in a charming quiet location. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful.

So I was in town visiting friends from Chicago. So we came strictly for the pool which we were assured would be up and running. When we checked in the front desk told us that the pool would be ready til about 730. After finding out this was false and complaining to the front desk who said the pool was cloudy and was finishing being treated opened the pool then before we got to the pool the power went out in the hotel. After that was woken up to very loud construction work at 8 am. Would not recommend my worst enemy staying here…

My wife and I attended a function at your hotel and stayed overnight. When we were first greeted at the check-in desk, we were checked in efficiently by the woman at the front desk. She even upgraded us to a junior suite because of my Marriott Platinum status. The room was very nice. The food at the function was very good, but there were not enough servers amd it took a long time for the food to be served. The food however, was nice and hot when served. Overall, it was a very good experience. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The Westin is one of the better hotels in the area. The rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. The only thing that has been a negative is that room service was way more then the prices posted.

Very clean Westin hotel. Staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Never met a Westin where the employees passionately loved their job. The front desk were courteous, provided me a water, and some coffee. Lauren at the restaurant was a rockstar. Excellent spot for meetings with their meeting rooms (would have liked some water in there and a trash can). Would use Westin again.

Initially I would have given a good review except for the lack of people working at the front desk which made check-in take forever! I think I lost something in their parking garage and have been trying to talk to someone about it for a week, but no one EVER answers the phone in housekeeping! The item is very important to me and to have no way to reach the hotel is very frustrating. I would not stay here again.

Staying one night. Place is clean. Beds are decent. Free bottle of water in room is a nice touch. Rooms could use an update/modernisation. There's a multi level self park garage for guests. Employees are friendly. Haven't tried the restaurant yet. Overall, a decent place to stay.

Easy parking, plenty of room. Conference facility was nice, clean, and food was tasty and well stocked. The audio reinforcement for the events was just ok. The room was modern and nice for a conference.

A little removed from the center but very good hotel.

We didn't get double room we reserved. They only had a king bed with a small uncomfortable pull out couch that my family shared. The room was nothing special. No refrigerator or microwave. The restaurant in the hotel was AWFUL. Food was expensive, tasted bad, and cold. Hotel staff at front desk was nice.

Way too expensive. Electronics are outdated. You could get a better room at the Marriott for less than half as much. My room was also loud and humming because of some nearby appliance which made sleeping very difficult. They also charged me $18 to park overnight. This is Waltham, not NYC. The people are nice, though.

Overall was a nice establishment. The staff worked to help me with scheduling issues due to the storm that impeded our travel. Parking is for a fee, however, which I don't think was appropriately said on websites. Overall, was a good stay.

I stayed at the Westin overnight in conjunction with a work party in an on-site function room. The function accommodations were nice however my room was average. I've had nicer accommodations in holiday inns. Outdated bathroom/tub. The tub was a bit small with two large shower heads which made it feel more cramped. There was not a lot of in room lighting. A shirt of mine fell on the floor in the corner of the TV stand and when picked up was absolutely covered in dust. I picked up almost a ping pong ball size dust bunny off my shirt. I would most likely not stay here if not for the work function being in the hotel. Edit: The hotel contacted me after my review and offered to make things right with a discounted stay, complimentary breakfast and checking my room personally on arrival. While I appreciate the gesture, I have no plans on staying there again at this time. I hope they take my feedback to heart and improve future guests experience.

They have started a remodel so I hope it adds a coffee shop, better restaurant and bathrooms that don't seem like they're a mile away. Location is great and parking in the garage is free and only an issue when there's a big event. Rooms are fine and price changes based on the club or corporation so hard to judge value. Near restaurants and shopping if you have a car.

The room was nice, but the windows were very breezy. I stayed during a snow blizzard and the wind whistled all night. The service at the restaurant was extremely slow, but everyone was nice and helpful.

Been awhile since I've stayed in a Westin and the bed was top notch in comfort. Tons of pillows, quiet, and the garden tub shower had great flow and heat. The staff over Christmas went above and beyond. Free cookies, free Starbucks coffee, and Louis at the bar a gracious host. The entire staff from front desk to manager were very considerate and friendly to us and our dogs. They are currently in a remodel but that did not diminish from the stay. Christmas rates were very reasonable.

Hands down a great experience. One of the best hotels including vallet parking. Amazing view, great space, professional staff, hospitable, easy to locate and the list continues.

Went here for my husband's work holiday party. Beautiful venue, tastefully decorated, good food and drinks. Only complaint is about the "vegetarian meal, " which was literally a plate of steamed potatoes, peppers and ONE piece of cauliflower, covered in what I think was butter. That does not qualify as a meal. Disappointing.

Although the location is fairly secluded, this allows for a more quiet atmosphere and an enjoyable time with friends. I did not stay at the hotel and was merely there for drinks with friends at the bar, but everything about this hotel was glamorous. Very chic and modern and the employees were friendly. Would come here again.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and welcome. There was a slight issue with credit technical issue. We ordered our room on Hotwire and when I put a credit card for incidentals it didn't show up in their systems correctly. It made it difficult to order a movie or use the mini bar. They did their best to fix that. We also used their pool which was very nice. My only wish was that there were more food options and vending machines.

Genesis! Genesis! Genesis! World class Customer service. She knows how to treat people right and make people feel special! I brought my girlfriend here to stay on her birthday night and Genesis at the front desk greeted me with a smile and asked if there was anything she could do. Not only did she asked but she delivered! Made me and my girlfriend feel really special and happy. Came all the way up to our room to wish my girlfriend a happy birthday! Awesome Customer service will stay here again and again and again! Management: this girl deserves a promotion for going above and beyond for her Customer service!

All of the rooms on the one side are open towards the bar area. It was really loud and the people were there all night. Maybe this hotel would be better if you were in a different area.

When checking in we told the front desk that it was cheaper online than the price they were telling us, they told us they couldn't give us that price. On top of that we were going to have to pay $18 to park. We went to Courtyard and paid more because they didn't play games.

This hotel is beautiful outside and the people inside are afwul. Booked a room almost a year in advanced for a wedding and waited 6 hours to check in. We drove for five hours to get here from ny. They bullshitted about 50 people about rooms not being ready (we saw the housekeeping staff on their cellphones instead of cleaning) and when I finally argued enough to get a room they got us a room with one king… there were four adults in the room and not even a pull out. I would never come back again and would recommend you dont either.

Stayed for a wedding. Had a nice visit. The facility is modern and clean. Rooms were pretty spacious. Shuttle service from the wedding was convenient. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel and great staff. Shower feels like a waterfall. Not the greatest location — — not much around except highways and office buildings. Also $18 to park in the suburbs is a little outrageous. However, I'd definitely come back — — nice robe, nice bed, Starbucks in the lobby, clean rooms.

It was easy to see from the highway, had plenty of free parking and it was nice inside. I could only see one restaurant, and it had a Starbucks but it was closed the entire time I was there. Employees in the lobby were friendly and helpful, but you had to wait a bit for them to stop talking amongst themselves and actually help you. Bathrooms were nice and clean.

I attended The Boston Salsa Fest at The West in this summer. The room was beautiful and clean, the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. The only issue was that our toilet in our 7th floor room didn't work, and their engineer was unable to fix it.

This property is in need of a little work. Sink was completely blocked. (How do you clean a room with a plugged sink drain? ) Heating airco unit was noisy. Caulk in bathroom cracked. And breakfast was unreasonably expensive. I booked on a discount site so price was reasonable for the quality.

The Westin Waltham of Boston is a wonderful hotel with elegant accommodations. My room was in perfect shape, and in our case a sleeper sofa was conveniently included for a total of 3 people. We took advantage of the underground pool area and free Wi-Fi throughout our stay. I would highly recommend the Westin Waltham.

The beds are super comfortable. Probably got some of the best sleep of my life. Rooms facing I-95 have some wonderful views. The breakfast buffet at Relish is okay but definitely not worth the price tag.

We went to relish their burger bistro place for lunch.
The service was top notch (thank you Abdul) the clam chowder was better than Legals and the burger was so good, in my top 5 ever. No room for desert or coffee so we can't help with that. Great lunch and didn't break the bank. Placed on our return list.

Good services and food. The complimentary Internet is good and stable. Great for corporate travel if you're visiting any of the nearby offices.

I was very surprised at the quality of this hotel for the price. My significant other and I were looking for a reasonably priced hotel around Boston and the Westin was priced better than even the "cheaper" hotels. The only thing we were missing was breakfast because it wasn't included and a refrigerator, which could have been brought to our room but presumably for a charge. Overall, great stay.

The people at the front desk are really nice but the overall service of the hotel is a bit dysfunctional and somewhat non-existent. The carpets in the room were kind of musty and smelled like somebody had been smoking in there which is odd because I believe its a relatively new hotel so I'm not sure why that is. I got a good deal on the hotel room so I can't complain too much but for a 4 star hotel it kind of had the services of a two and a half star hotel. Also the walls are very thin and not insulated well. I could hear everything that was going around in the room above me and around me and the cleaning staff are also contributed to the noise.

I know I will never go back, and will never recommend this place to anyone I know. So we got to the hotel, the receptionist seams upset or angry or something, did not smile, did not even made any eye contact. My wife and I went to the room, we found something disgusting in the closet, was old plastic cup fill of what seams like old vomit. I called the receptionist (the same one) she was very passive and casual about it, she said "ok, you wanna swich rooms, come to the front" not even an apology or sorry or anything, I was like "excuse me? " She said " come to the front, allrighty? " I found that very disappointed and disrespectful, so we went to the front and another receptionist was there, she was very nice, she apologized and even offered us a free drink. I asked about the other lady, she told me that she is the superviser and she is on break. Her name is "Charletty" I believe. Anyways, we changed rooms, the other one was smaller than the first room, but we were ok with it. The experience with the front lady "Charletty" was however very annoying to us, my wife and I remained upset for the rest of our stay.

Solid business hotel for those working in the area. Large clean rooms and friendly staff. Plus there are some good restaurants in walking distance to augment the hotel options. This is my choice for staying in Waltham.

Great hotel. Clean amenities. Only problem I have is that you have to pay a minimum of $15/night to park at the hotel. Seems like that should be included in the already premium cost.

Great service had a fun time, DJ was fun and the drinks were very good.

By far the worst! Customer service sucks, the front office staff is not professional. I booked a deluxe king size bed, ended up in a two bed room… Then when they switched me put me in a king size bed but bathroom had no tub which I had clearly requested. Definitely stay else where over priced with cheap service and horrible rooms. Never again so done with SPG, haven't felt like I was platinum not even once when staying at their hotels. Back to hhonors.

We had my company Holiday Party at the Westin. The staff were great. The food was delicious. Too bad my company couldn't hand out drink tickets. Beer and wine were $8.00 and $7.50 respectively.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel stay. I was there for business for a three month stay. They never gave me the full kitchen set although I repeatedly asked for them, The housekeeping staff was supposed to clean my room once a week, and continually would not clean my room. After 91days of continuous stay you are to receive State Tax back they would not and tried to charge you for amenities you did not use. Beware of the staff in this place! My last day there was 8/21/2015, the best part of my stay!

Comfortable beds, nice pool couch, and the lobby was well decorated. Over glorified on website, very small pool, and no hot tub. Would not recommend.

It's almost impossible to get any service. The phone rings forever and when somebody answers they put you on hold and then they disconnect you and you get to repeat the whole process several times.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Absolutely do not use if you have children. Loud profanity-driven drunk crowds in the hallways all night long. Ineffectual customer "service" from front desk. Screaming, profanity, ruckus laughter, ordering of food, socializing — — ALL OF THIS HAPPENING IN THE HALLWAYS throughout the night. A four star hotel? A joke! Nothing special about the rooms either. The bathrooms are closet-size. The toilet is right up against the bathtub.

Our family had a wonderful visit! From a warm check-in to a friendly check-out during our stay. Their service was outstanding. Our family is a food buff, so we always like to watch the food channel. Unfortunately, the channel was not working. We called front desk, and within few minutes, a very nice maintenance man came to fix the channel. Talk about providing an excellent service!

Thought I was getting a deal with a decent rate for the area, $15 a night for parking and $10 a day for Wi-Fi turns out I was wrong! Room a was nice and fairly comfortable but I will not be staying here again!

You should only stay at this hotel if you want to experience extreme disappointment. The staff is sarcastic and unaccommodating. No one opens the door for you, it is as though your presence is disturbing to the staff. The hotel website boasts about a multi-million dollar renovation and yet they do not offer complimentary breakfast. When I complained about something they made a comment that I had purchased my stay through expedia, which in their words was a 'discount service, ' but apparently that discount service was good enough for them to use to fill their rooms? Beyond disappointed.

It was a good hotel stayed here for 2 nights. They should offer free breakfast considering the price we pay. They didn't have a microwave or fridge in the room either. I was new to Boston and I didn't find any close restaurants nearby. Room was nice and clean and hotel was kept in a good condition which I liked. All of the staff was really friendly.

GREAT location for our visit to Bentley univeristy. Very good breakfasts and clean room. Staff very polite and helpful.

Ehh. I asked for a crib and they brought a rollaway. Had a convention going on so it was loud (not there fault). They want to charge $15 for parking. We're in suburbia across from a Costco. Come on.

This hotel is * is beautiful on the outside with their crystals.

Overall the place is okay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice. While the place is going under renovation it didn't interfere. The place lacks a sundry store. The air conditioning is noisy and goes full blast to cold then stops, the starts full blast again. You are never quite comfortable. The 'Make A Green Choice' is not worth it. You give up a day of housekeeping (not even room tidying) for a $5 voucher you have to use during your stay and there is no place to use it. Finally, the trash receptacle in the garage had been full and over flowing since we arrived. This will not be my first choicefor my next visit.

Food is horrible. I ordered calamari and stir fry. I could have stayed home and had a better mean from my microwave. My wife had a burger that was dry and uncooked fries. Stay away from the restaurant.

This review is about the Bar and it's management, but if it's any indication of everything else. Well. So me and a friend went in for the first time to relax, have a few drinks, and check the place out. Apparently the real bar area was under renovation and they had a make shift bar set up. Thats fine I guess, whatever. When we opened a tab my friend pulled out her CC before I could hand them mine. This was just to give a name for the tab. When we were done, I gave them MY CC and the bill and they came back with MY card and the receipt. I signed it, and we went on our way. I didnt think to check the reciept and I also wished I had saved it because even after giving them my CC and specifically telling the staff to use the card I gave them to settle, they didnt bother and instead ran the tab on my friends CC. My friend called as soon as it hit her account and the spoke to the bar manager who said they would fix it. Later that same day I called the bar manager and said to credit back the charge on my friends card and once that hit her account I would come in person to clear up settle up. I gave her all my contact info, work schedule, phone number and best times to call, if there were any questions issues in the meantime. The bar manager seemed very irate on that call cause I wouldnt give her my CC info to her over the phone.
