Room was spacious but way over priced for what they offer. Pool was cold, hot tub wasn't available. $14 for breakfast and the potatoes weren't fully cooked. Nice location to walk to other restaurants.

I recently had the pleasure of DING a wedding here. Great venue with a great staff.

Great staff, warm pool, great fitness center.

Given the state of everything lately, it was a great atmosphere. The room was cozy, but the air was dry and hard to breathe without some airflow. The staff was amiable and never once neglectful. Though I only stayed one night, I would love to stay here again. Hopefully, the pool and gym will be open next time.

The mrs’s loved the sleep so much she took a picture of the mattress. We were fortunate enough to be able to enjoy the pool to ourselves (Covid19) as we called ahead of time and made reservations.

The staff are respectful and accommodating to our needs. The rooms are clean and very spacious. All around this is the hotel I would recommend to my family and friends to stay at!

Staff is amazing. Great rooms and food as well but the staff is what makes my stay enjoyable!

Our daughter learned to swim in their pool! (We spent a lot of time in the pool and spa, both of which are wonderful. ) Great service at the bar and at the restaurant for breakfast. Everyone who works there is so friendly. We had such a lovely visit (a "staycation", as we live 15 minutes away), and as soon as we left our daughter asked when we can stay there again. :) We hope to do it again soon!

The hotel is at great location, provided good service, and the room is very clean and comfortable.

Very attentive staff, from the lobby to the lounge area.

Was there for a wedding the staff was very unorganized asked us what we were eating? Stopped serving drinks fo 15 mins? And charged nine dollars for a very small watered down drink! Took far to long to get the wedding party into the room and to finally serve the meals! Therefore only had hour and half to dance! Very unprofessional to start clearing decorations off the tables before reception was done! Would not recommend to have your special day there!

Horrible to deal with if you have an issue. They won't help or contact you just give you the run around. The general manager is useless. They won't return your calls they expect you to chase them.

Stayed here for many years. Great staff. Fantastic location. Will be back.

Extremely impressed with this facility located in a cute town! Great rate, clean room, nice little fitness area, excellent service — Pete was phenomenal and so willing to get to know us. We most definitely recommend and give this a 10/10!

Power went out throughout Freeport during our stay at this Hilton. While I recognize that the hotel cannot control if the town power grid goes down, it is standard for a hotel to communicate with guests when something goes awry that affects their stay. There was no note under the door with any explanation (despite there being generator power in the lobby at the main desk). I have stayed at other hotels previously where they slipped a note under the door for something as small as a brief interruption to the water for maintenance in the afternoon when many would be checked out or out on the town and hardly notice. That the staff at a Hilton did not find a city wide power outage for ~10 hours noteworthy when it also negated the elevators for the disabled or those who may be mobility impaired was quite a surprise. Using our cells to communicate with national customer service also yielded little information.

Awesome stay! We stayed here for two days last weekend. It was supper clean and very comfortable. The staff was awesome. They are renovating the rooms this coming January 2019 and I am looking forward to my stay in 2019. This is right downtown with easy walking to all the stores and restaurants. This is the only hotel I stay in when coming to the Freeport / Portland area. Less hustle and bustle in Freeport and all the amenities you need. I have been staying here since they have opened and have never been disappointed!

Wanted to spend a few days of just Mom and Dad time. This was an excellent choice. We came in and were greeted by Aaron and Jeff at the front desk with a big smile and a warm welcome. Both were very helpful and professional. At dinner (we ate in the first night) again excellent staff, helpful and informative about the menu. Then at breakfast (we had added the breakfast to our reservation, well worth it) Sylvia and Amber were, again, just wonderful. I must say we like Hiltons and this definitely lived up to our expectations. A very nice getaway for my wife and I. Plus with a ton of restuarants, stores and Wolfe's Neck Center nearby, there's so much to do within walking distance or just a short drive. We'll definitely be back again. Thank you staff for making our Anniversary Getaway so enjoyable.

Currently staying here. Beautiful hotel, very comfortable room, comfortable beds and love the pool and hot tub. Staff is very welcoming, employees are so sweet. Very clean here! I travel to Maine due to tradition at least once a year… we will be adding this spot to our list of places to stay!

Easy to find, plenty of parking and within walking distance of all the Freeport shopping. I was there for an event which was catered and the food was very good!

Very nice, clean and well situated facility. Not quite as upscale as I expected considering the rate. The rate was higher than I expected for very off season. I would recommend it to others. Freeport, off season, is a much more pleasant atmosphere than Portland, which seems always to be hopping busy.

Good, clean hotel. But very disappointed with the breakfast staff. We were told we got free breakfast unless it was cook-to-order, until we sat down with our food, THAT WE GOT OURSELVES BY THE WAY, and were charged $10.95 a person. $50 for 4 of us to eat a breakfast that was suppose to be free. 2 of us ate a bagel, and 2 of us ate a single waffle. So please enjoy your stay at this hotel, the hotel itself is really nice but the breakfast sucked. Enjoy your $11 bagel.

Great Accommodations and Large Rooms. Very clean even though when we went they were in the middle of lobby and hallway renovation. The staff especially the front desk was A+++

Recently remodeled. The staff has been the same for several years, and are pleasant and friendly. Located across the street from the LLBean Flagship store. Perfect place to stay for a quick getaway! Their restaurant is good too!

Excellent place to stay. Great gym. Clean room. Breakfast service was almost outstanding. 4/17/18 female server never once came to our table to see if we needed any service. Server went to several other tables in the 15mins I was there. Front desk staff was polite. Overall, a great hotel to stay at an unfortunately I highly doubtful that I'd book there in the future.

They were doing renovations and we're very unaccommodating given the circumstances. Me and my coworker wanted to work in the hotel one day and we could not use a conference room unless we paid so we we're directed to the lobby tables which they said we're quiet during the day, that is until the construction crew started 30 minutes later and then the contractors starting ripping up the carpet our chairs were on. Room was fine though.

I have stayed at many hotels over the past 30 years and I was very impressed with this hotel. The rooms were clean and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel stay. Very happy with the breakfast too!

Great experience in this hotel! Especially hanging at the bar with family that I hadn't seen in forever! And, the breakfast is superb!

Beautiful location. Food provided for our event wasn't as hot as it could have been.

Attended an event. The hall used had no cell service. The moment you leave the room, you get all your service back. The food provided at the event by the hotel was not well prepared. Everyone's chicken dish was bland and very dry, even though the dish had plenty of chicken stock… not that I am sure that was intended or not…

New clean hotel. Can't beat the location. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants. Unfortunately this place is overpriced for the amenities. Aside of being the closest to downtown other area hotels offer much more for less cost and are only a few miles from downtown. Worth the stay if only for a night but would recommend local hotels not far away for more than a quick stop overnight. That said this hotel is clean well kept and offers breakfast lunch and dinner onsite. Nice outside sitting area with propane fireplace.

Was under going renovations while I was there. It is close to main Street and makes it easy to get to many good shopping places. Great place to stay.

Went here for an work event. The hall was very nice clean and professional. Plenty of space and the food was really great. We had maybe 70 people and it was very spacious. The outside eating area was nice as well.

Nice and quiet but almost like cell phone reception is blocked. Breakfast Buffett gets 1 star. I have stayed in better for less.

The good points are the location (close to shops and restaurants) and the breakfast. The room was adequate but dark and dated and the shower had low pressure. It also was a shower over a bath, that shows how dated the room is. The really bad bit about the hotel is that it has rooms that are very close to a railway line (and I mean about 6 feet away). Alright there are not many trains but when one wakes you up at 1.30 in the morning it is not good. If I was to stay in the area again it would not be at this hotel.

Attended a social brunch in the Old Town Hall Meeting Place. Good food, especially for a hotel buffet. Very attentive staff. Nicely built space.

Was a great experience… As always anywhere we travel we try and stay at the Hilton's we have always had great friendly service there! Only Suggestion… When there is a wedding Party that is known far in advance would try and keep the wedding party and guests all together and not scattered through out the same floor so that any other guests that are there but not involved in the Celebration do not complain about the noise to the point where the wedding party gets threatened to be thrown out… No body was out of control just happy and sharing laughs… Just a suggestion! But as always was a great experience… Staff was more than friendly and helpful… Freeport is just Beautiful and what a Beautiful Wedding Ceremony Setting and Reception! Y'all Rock… I only try to stay at the Hilton Inn's whenever possible… We live in Florida and Love the Double Tree in Orlando… My husband and I stay there every year as tradition for some time to celebrate our Anniversary! :)

Very convenient location for Freeport or even Portland — 20 minute drive to Portland Airport. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance.

Very professional & friendly staff. Loved our room it was clean, fresh & very spacious. Trying to find out where to get the pillows they use, soooo comfy. The lounge staff were great as well as the food. Wicked fish fry! Very convenient to shopping area, you gotta love LLBean!

Hilton Garden Inn provided a nice quiet space for a business-to-business event. Staff seemed to appear when you need them and otherwise staying out of the way. This is an excellent venue for meetings in professional setting.

Went to a holiday party, bar service was great and the facilities were very nice. Food was okay but wasn't the greatest, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Facilities and rooms were clean. The bathroom in my room was not great. The shower tub filled up with water due to a slow drain. The fitness center and look were both small but adequate and clean. I opted to go to bow street market for breakfast as the $11 buffet type offered at the hotel didn't seem entirely worth it as it was essentially a contental breakfast as would be offered at a competitor as part of the room price.

Clean, friendly. We stayed here instead of the Hampton inn. Beware breakfast not included in our quoted rate, standard at the Hampton inn.

Fantastic place to stay. Great staff, many nice touches such as free cookies, tea and hot chocolate. The hotel is literally right next to an active train track, and the train comes by a couple of times between 6 and 8am, but not even that deters us from staying here.
