Super quick stay but very pleased with our clean room, the friendly service & breakfast was perfect!

This hotel is starting to look a little worn out. Because of its' location it gets tons of traffic. But like most HI Express hotels it's also very clean. And the mattress was very comfortable. Also the norm at HIE. I only have a couple complaints — the shower was awful — change that head. Also a, relic! And, I was a few minutes "late" for breakfast. I only wanted a cup of coffee. Alas none was available. Some hotels offer coffee 24/7. Is that such a big deal? Small thing but would have meant a lot. I like Holiday Inn Expresses. Would definitely recommend.

The rooms were clean and we'll furnished. I appreciated the very accommodating staff. We were throwing a slumber party for our daughter and needed to have ice cream stored for her cake. The desk staff was more than willing to take care of putting the ice cream in the freezer and retrieving it when we wanted. They went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable.

Great hotel. Check in was great but the checkout wasn't very good. Upon checkout the lady up front had purplish colored hair, which doesn't portray as very professional and she was doing something else so as we stood there, she just walked by and said we leave our door cards and was gone. Could use some mentorship with working with customers.

Quoted me $235 a night for a two night stay for a Queen double room which also shows on there website. Then charging $339 a night. Watch your confirmation. I didn't catch it and now they won't help even though I showed them their website price I agreed upon!

So much better than the "Best" Western down the street! Clean, helpful staff, all the amenities were as advertised and great hours on the pool. So glad we LEFT the other place to stay here!

Decent Lodgings Visiting Freeport ME could be an exciting adventure. The Holiday Inn Express is a decent choice that holds no surprises; it is quite similar to all the other HI Expresses. The distinguishing feature of this location was the good service.

Nice clean rooms however my bathroom door did not close all the way or lock. Continental breakfast was good except some of the eggs were dried out and hard even after she brought out a second tray. Pros: they have a laundry room for guest!

They went out of their way to accommodate my sister in a handicap accessible room. Thanks!

Holiday Inns and their brands are usually ok. This Express location had some short comings. While the cleanliness of the common areas and breakfast area was fine, our room was brushed through. This is how our bed was made. Seems the staff was in a hurry. Will think twice about staying here again.

Great stay! Front desk staff was very helpful and gave us a heads up about a big group staying at the hotel that weekend. Even though the hotel was fully booked, we never heard a peep from the other guests. Breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfortable.

This is the dirtiest IHG hotel I've ever stayed in, I checked in on 9/14/17, I was up take no care of some prework things. When I went to take a shower about 11:30pm I realized zed the shower looked like it wasn't cleaned in a couple weeks. There was mold growing in the corners and creases of the bath tub along with that pinkish color you get when soap scum sits for a while. I was told at check in that the hotel was booked so I figured there wouldn't be a chance of getting a change of room. Next morning on my way out to work, I spoke to the receptionist requesting a thorough cleaning of the tub because it was filthy. He told me he would speak to the housekeeping manager, however upon returning from work I found that nothing changed.

Room was clean and appropriate for the price point. However, room fridge didn't work as well as ice machine on our floor. Staff very nice. Breakfast in morning was typical of all hotel continental breakfasts.

Just stayed the one night, but room was clean and staff were friendly and polite. Wide variety of food for breakfast which was included.

The location of the hotel was very convenient. Located only 5 minutes from downtown Freeport and 20 from Portland, it is situated perfectly. The breakfast is complimentary and the cinnamon rolls are great! Water pressure was fine, and the towels dry you off great.

Everyone was very friendly. The young lady that runs the breakfast area really is super. She stays on top of filling everything all morning. Great service. Front desk was quick to address a couple if room issues. Would go back in a heart beat.

Pros: Hotel and rooms are clean and fairly updated. Staff is very friendly. Free breakfast has a lot to choose from and is pretty good. Cons: Hotel is very noisy. The walls are thin and you can hear practically everyone on the floor. Bathroom is way too dark. Shower head is the most inadequate I've ever encountered. Hot water makes a horrible squealing noise.

They have a really good breakfast! Lighting in the bathroom could stand to be improved, but the room is nice and clean and comfortable. The only issue we have, is the fact that it is right beside Interstate 295, and it is really loud all night long! The staff is really friendly and accommodating.

Holiday Inn Express has become my favorite hotel brand, and this is yet another example of why. Smooth, quick check in was a great start to my stay in the large, clean room. Everything worked as it should in the room, and the bed was nice and comfortable as expected. The breakfast was also as expected, which has always been one of the best parts of my stays in these hotels. The coin laundry was very useful, since I had already been on the road for several days by the time I arrived here. Being able to check out with the mobile app was the icing on the cake. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was a good price point for the time of year. I am sure at other times it is much more expensive to stay. My fiancé stayed at the Super 8 down the road last August and paid $200 for a single room with a King bed. But it was an unexpected trip and he had no other options everywhere else was booked. Holiday Inn is way better by a lot. Anyway, We only paid $85 for a King Suite. Room was clean. Shower head needs to be replaced. We like that they had luggage trolley to help bring our things up to our rooms. It would also be nice for them to have USB outlet chargers on both sides of the bed instead of just one. I enjoyed the k-cup machine. The breakfast was a thumbs down. At least for me… or maybe I just have higher standards. And if I had one other suggestion it would be to put smart TV's into the rooms. That way if customers have Netflix, amazon, or other accounts like that and want to watch something specific they can login to those services they already pay for and watch what they want.

Up until today it would have been 5 stars but today the lady at the front desk change the rate of pay and then had to put a deposit down on the room and I've been there for 4 days withoutcausing deposit or credit card. Other than that very good.

Room was clean, staff was accommodating.

You get what you pay for. Quiet even when facing the back ok the building, which overlooks the not so distant freeway.

I had recently planned a college tour for our non-profit organization. We had 49 students in attendance and 4 chaperons. Amanda M. And her staff were so helpful, organized and friendly. The adults and students were treated with such great respect and care. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast area was large enough to feed 49 high school students. I appreciate the work and support of Amanda and her staff. If you are in the area, you have to stay!

This hotel was very nice! Since Freeport is fairly small, the location just out of town was no big deal. The staff was very friendly and the coffee in the morning was promptly ready at an early time.
