We stayed here with my family of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids). The two queen beds were very comfortable even though my mom found some little hairs in the bed sheets. The swimming pool lacked a hot tub but it had a communal sauna. It even had an indoor tennis court. The breakfast was nice as it had eggs and corned beef hash. But it didn't have a waffle maker. The worst part was that they had a sewer backup and my dad flushed the toilet to have it overflow into our bathroom. Furthermore, we lost our son's shoes when the cleaning crew took the shoes with the dirty towels. It was a 4 star stay except for the lost shoes.

Nice and clean Hotel. Breakfast was good and maintenance service team was quick. Although the A. C in my room gave me issues at the middle of the night which we got it fixed the next day and then everything was fine.

What a great hotel! The price was so affordable I was almost skeptical nut no lie — it really looks like the pictures on Google. It had great amenities and was dog friendly, which is important for us as I travel with my dog/child. They are so dog friendly that they provide you with a pet blanket for your dog to snuggle with. I am appreciative of Ramada making sure we feel at home while traveling. I will def consider a Ramada first next time we go on a road trip! For the price, this hotel is worth the visit!

Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. 30 min from Acadia. We stayed in a two queen bed room with a pull out sofabed. Beds are fairly comfortable. Only complaint about the room was the bathroom sink was small so there wasn't room to put hba items out. Large pool, sauna, exercise room, indoor tennis courts. Breakfast was disappointing, mostly breads. Good grocery store and fast food restaurants right next door. Overall good value.

Pros: All the employees here have been incredibly nice and helpful. The pool is huge and clean and there is a suana too. The room is clean and the beds are pretty comfortable. Cons: I hate to mention it but the toilet is too small — unusually small — like child size. I'm over six feet tall and about 250 pounds — not a little guy and am having a difficult time with the itty bitty toilet. The sink area in the bathroom is tiny too. The breakfast is probably the worst I've seen in years but it is a free breakfast so…

Good location, convenient to main street Ellsworth and Acadia. Rooms are clean and nicely amenitied, with microwave and refrigerator. Pool and sauna are wonderful to have after a long day hiking. Would definitely stay here again.

Exceptionally caring, helpful staff. Nice, modern, clean rooms. I've never needed a hotel in the Ellsworth area as I live here. But during a recent extended power outage I was stuck, needing a place for myself, my dog and cat. They don't normally take cats but were flexible due to their genuine desire to help the community. I travel quite a bit for work and "the boys" go with me. Finding a hotel that will take both is difficult, especially a nice one. The room was quite nice. I usually have to clean before I unpack, but did't here. It was that nice. The room was large and modern. Microwave and fridge. Nice flat screen TV with a decent selection of channels and room to plug in devices. Comfortable bed and very quiet. The rest of the hotel as far as I saw was also clean. The usual continental breakfast with a hot selection. Also tennis court and indoor pool, though I saw neither. The location is in the relative center of everything with a nice super market next door. The staff was very friendly and could not have been more accommodating. Lynn at the front desk was genuinely caring and compassionate. She was very flexible with my check in and out times made challenging due to the transient nature of the power outage. I and forever grateful to Lynn and her staff for making this difficult time easier. I suspect that THIs Ramada is exceptionally managed as a good, happy crew would suggest this.

Always a great stay. Great service staff and good rooms. Breakfast is always well done. The only negative was that the hot tub was gone this most recent time I visited. I'm sure they are just replacing/repairing, but I admit I was looking forward to it.

Clean, comfortable space; luxurious bed and wonderful accommodations. Breakfast was hearty and filling with plenty of options for everyone. The pool was clean and well kept. The only disappointment was that the hot tub was out of service, however the wonderful accommodations more than made up for its absence.

Nice hotel, clean room that was spacious. Bathroom was clean and provided good quality shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Good location for a day trip to Bar Harbor/Acadia.

Helpful staff, clean rooms, no problems. Food was great at breakfast. All I needed was a place to sleep for a week and I got everything I needed.

Beds are extremely comfortable. Staff friendly. We love the tennis courts. Wish they were open during winter.

Easy check in and sufficient parking no matter what time. Rooms weren't super quiet (shared door) but good nonetheless. No issues. The hallways were super long, so carrying a lot of stuff can be a drag. Overall, I recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Not what we expected. The hotel has a strong smell when you walk in. The rooms smelled musty and of spoiled milk or bad cheese. Front desk staff were pleasant. Housekeeping was courteous. Bathrooms & rooms are small for $200 per night Pool needs repaired, some machines in the fitness center were "out of order". Maintenance person was unpleasant & told us hot tub was closed. When we told him there was no sign stating that, he replied to us, "that's why the lid was closed! " Honestly, we thought they were trying to keep the water warm… Would find somewhere else to stay next time. Overall the whole hotel needs a complete overhaul. *this is a pet friendly hotel, so if that bothers you, you may want to find another place.

Very nice hotel with nice indoor pool, tennis courts, and fitness center. The rooms are updated but the halls and exterior of the building could use some improvements. Very comfortable bed, free breakfast. About a 30 minute drive to Acadia National Park.

I was so glad that this hotel kept a couple of rooms for last-minute bookings when my camping trip went awry. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself might be in need of a makeover—the hallways are a little dingy—but overall a great experience!

This is a comfortable family and pet-friendly hotel. Not fancy but has a lovely back courtyard with a swing set and a nice indoor pool and hot tub that is maintained daily. Friendly staff. We have visited a few times and will be back again.

That staff is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable. They were also flexible when it comes to small negotiations.

Stayed here during our trip to Bar Harbor the motels was nice it had a good breakfast nice pool and rooms had full size pillows and comfortable beds.

Great little hotel sits between Bangor and Acadia. Bidrfet friendly, clean, pet friendly, breakfast, and conveniently located. It's about 30 minutes away from acadia, but the drive isn't too bad. Rooms look clean and newish, nice bathroom and has comfortable beds.
