Horrible experience and treated horrible by the manager or whoever was on duty we booked a room online thinking it was at a different location and when we got there we weren’t happy with the location or the hotel so we asked if we could cancel for free and he said no and then asked us if we were OK to drive like insinuating we were drunk or something when we’re only drinking coffee I felt very judged, And he was trying to force us basically to stay there I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody!

I loved our stay at the Acadia Pines. We had been traveling all day. I had contacted the hotel because we would be arriving late. The Acadia Pines went above and beyond to made sure our room was ready for us to walk in and hit the sack. The Acadia Pines motel has a unique Mom & Pop touches, which added to the nostalgia of being in Acadia — the motel was in GREAT condition. The room was tidy and clean. The beds were comfortable and had a nice bathroom. If you are looking for accommodation in this area you cannot do better than choosing the Acadia Pines. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay there. Clean, affordable, good to start your day at Acadia National Park or a visit to Bar Harbor.

Location was great, because we were right next to a shuttle stop. It was clean enough, not prestine but not dirty. Bed was really comfortable. The check in lady was really nice and they gave all the maps and tour information we needed.

We booked three nights at the Acadia Pines in early August. It was unusually hot during our visit. This older hotel lacks proper insulation. The older wall air conditioner could not cool the room. We asked for a fan at the office and to have someone look at the AC. After two unsuccessful attempts to improve the cooling, we gave up. They would not credit us for any portion our first 2 nights but they did release us from our 3rd night. We wold have left either way. Other than the thorn bush growing over the entry door (Unit #14) and the slight stench of mold, we liked the room size and convenience to the park.

Loved the quaintness of Acadia Pines. Room was large & kitchenette was nice to have but they could have done better on pots & pans & should have had a can opener & corkscrew. Still, it was a good value & we really enjoyed our stay.

Cozy, clean and comfy. Very nice efficiency room with a separate bedroom including 2 twin beds and a king bed in the main room. Decent size kitchen. Had a great stay.

Very Satisfied! Rooms nice, kept cleaned daily with great detail, serene and peaceful area after the hustle and bustle of downtown Bar Harbour. Staff very informative and pleasant. Slept like a log! If any constructive criticism — the heated pool was awesome although swam with a few bugs. Which has to be hard to keep up with given the area among so many beautiful trees. Didn't really "bug" me too much. I loved our stay.

It's fairly quiet. Rooms are pretty clean. Hard to maneuver a vehicle. Toilet seat was broken. Wifi not very strong. It's Bar Harbor. Everything is packed.

Nice place. King beds are really comfy and our room has a kitchen.

Very satisfied family of 5. Perfect location, just 5 min from entrance to Acadia National Park, mini golf, and restaurant in walking distance. Fully equipped with kitchen and all you need for your comfortable stay. Fire pit outside for your camp out dinners, heated pool, and friendly staff. We stayed 3 nights. Highly recommended!

Clean, very affordable, very convenient to everything on the island. Lots of space for a family of four — we got the room with a king bed in one room and two twins in the other, with a kitchenette. Nothing fancy, but cozy and with rustic a charm.

Good clean room with only the amenities we needed! Microwave, fridge and small coffee maker… definitely choose Acadia Pines again!

Very dirty, and had a weird smell. Its a motel so I didn't have high expectations, but at the very least it should be clean, and it really, really wasn't. Has the potential to be a nice place but the way it is now I could never go back.

The room is a good size and convenient for the price. It wasn't the cleanest place I ever stayed, I noticed mold on the shower curtain and the construction is a pain!

Perfect location comfortable and homey. The staff top of the line. We are going back this year and it's our 5th year same room. Vaunted wait.

Affordable, clean room! We stayed 2 nights. This motel is near restaurants and attractions. The BBQ restaurant next store has a great omelette!

Every time we come up to ME, we try to stay here. We love the place! The rooms are pretty spacious and clean. We like the fact that the motel is so close to Acadia. It's really nice that the rooms are separate. We don't feel like we will wake our neighbors when we get up. For our family, it wouldn't be vacation without staying here!

I had a delightful 3 day stay at this charming hotel. The staff was great, and the room was clean and comfortable and cozy. It was the perfect headquarters for exploring Bar Harbour and the Acadia Forest. Very peaceful to sit outside in the evenings and star gaze — will definitely be back.

Very nice motel. Friendy staff and owner. We've now stayed here twice and will probably stay here again in the future. The rooms are well cleaned and well maintained. Remember, this is a motel, it isn't a Hilton Hotel; by owner operated motel standards it is very good and the rates are very reasonable.
