Excellent location for exploring Acadia National Park. Very good facilities, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms.

We stayed 3 nights at the Bar Harbor Hampton Inn and couldn’t have been happier. Room was nice and new and clean with a pretty partial ocean view. Free Wi-Fi and parking was a nice change. So was the fruit infused water and the fantastic cookies available everyday. We also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast every day. Staff was fantastic!

Beautiful facilities. Everything from the room to the pools were immaculately clean. Included breakfast is very good and changed every day. Very conveniently located near downtown and Acadia. Was able to have bicycles kept in Hotel shed which was really convenient. Hotel has beautiful views either mountainside or ocean side. Had an issue with some unexplained noise one night however after a little effort the Hotel resolved the issue satisfactorily. Room rates are very reasonable. Cannot say enough about how clean and well kept the property is. I highly recommend this Hotel.

Extremely dissatisfied. I'm a Hilton honors member and always stay at a Hampton or Hilton. I paid well over $300+ for the room. I do understand it's Bar Harbor and Labor day and a view. But I have gotten a room twice as good in Boston and areas for less than HALF. The room was totally standard. I was not welcomed as an honor member as normal. And did not receive the normal. The room was clean, view was fair. I have stayed at a hotel in the past way closer to the oven w 10xs the view and less than 1/2.

Good experience staying here one night with my husband while we visited Acadia and Bar Harbor. Everything you would expect from a Hampton. Great that they had a free shuttle to downtown.

Great kid-friendly hotel. Awesome breakfast and loved the kids play area. The island explorer bus stops right outside which was a great bonus for getting around!

Spent three days here while visiting the Acadia National Park. Hotel staff is very helpful and the location is central to the area although road construction makes it an adventure to navigate around. The only down side was the breakfast. They used prepackaged omlet looking things that they heated and served. We stuck with the waffles or cereal.

By far one of the best hotels in BarHarbor. The place is new and clean. The staff is excellent and go out of their way to make your stay special. Location is great, very quiet. You can easily walk to town. Delicious breakfast every day and cookies at 5:00.
Trams are very easy to use to get into Arcadia Park. The sunset is a must see. Would definitely return.

Best Hampton Inn! I stayed three nights and enjoyed every moment there. Rooms are very clean. I stayed one night with mountain view, which is beautiful, and changed to a standard room that has sunset. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I definitely will come back and stay at this hotel again!

Great location. Will be better once the construction is complete. I wish I had been upgraded to a room with a view. I visited outside of peak season.

Service was excellent. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good, simple but enough. No complaints at all.

Appears to be a new Hotel, Everything looks new and tidy (Rooms, Fitness area, Lounge). Friendly staff at front desk. The elevation of hotel brings outside views to almost all rooms. Got a outdoor pool as well.

Absolutely gorgeous views! The team at the desk are most friendly and helpful. They gave us great tips on where to go and what to do.

Clean and quiet warm hotel with comfortable beds and really great check in staff. Close to Acadia, would consider staying again, although the room was a little small. Hot tub was clean and hot.

Very nice, modern Hampton Inn. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Many rooms have wonderful views, with some having a balcony overlooking Bar Harbor.

Bar Harbor is one of my favourite places and I always stay here at the Hampton when I come. I’m never disappointed and I love the view from the room. It’s a bit of a walk into town but one of my favourite walks to make. Just be ready to climb The Hill on the way back. If it’s a busy season parking can be a bit of a hassle in town so it’s worth it to walk. Beautiful hotel is a majestic part of the world! Never a complaint to be had.

Everything was very acceptable. Out of several breakfast items for a couple days, guess the food and beverage Mgr fell asleep at the wheel. Shame at the price per night. Most of the staff was average in customer service with a couple willing to go a little further to accommodate.

Large rooms. Clean. Nice outdoor seating. Large living room, breakfast area and small kids TV room, good cookies, helpful staff. Be aware they charge you one full night's amount to be prepaid before arrival cuz this is their way. Rooms were not ready at 4 and we were switched to a lower leer room sans view except of lawn.

Beautiful location, decent views, friendly staff. Hotel is clean and modern. Loved our room (especially able to adjust A. C. So much). Only thing missing? A balcony to the rooms!

The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located a short drive from the water front. The rooms are fresh and clean. There is plenty of parking on site. The indoor and outdoor pools are both very nice. The complimentary breakfast is substantial with eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles and many pastries to choose from.

Very clean rooms, modern look. Staff super friendly and easy to chat with, like an old friend. This location is at the top​ of a hill with great views of the sunrise and the bay. Easy parking and good breakfast as well. Definitely a place to come back to.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are really nice, clean, and spacious. We didn't have one of the official ocean view rooms, but still was able to see the ocean and the mountains next to the hotel. Hotel is within reasonable reach of the town and the park. Would recommend to anyone who wants to stay on the island.

The Hampton Inn Bar Harbor was fantastic! Great staff, nice rooms, delicious complimentary breakfast, and had everything we could need. Highly recommend staying here!

I don't know of why Google thinks this is Chinese. This is a Hampton Inn. It's nice and new, staff friendly.

5-Star Hotel at its finest! We have stayed at numerous Hampton's throughout the years & this was by far the most superb! Brand new beautifully clean facility. It even still smells new! Hosts a friendly staff who went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. If we are ever back in the area, will book here again!

First trip to Maine and not disappointed. The Staff were attentive and helpful. The entire motel was beautiful decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast staff was so nice and we enjoyed getting to know them. The view was spectactular and Acacia National Park was one of the most beautiful parks in our country.

Amazing! It is more of a classy Hotel than I expected. The location is great, views of Frenchman Bay, 10 minute walk to downtown and restaurants and the pier too. Acadia National Park is just at the rear of the facility. The rooms are well appointed clean snd cozy but spacious. Comfortable bed and cooling of heat under the clients control. This place sure beats staying in Ellsworth which is around 20 miles from Bar Harbor. I would stay here anytime during any season it is open for business. PS: The exercise equipment and pool are worth utilizing too. Clean and well lit.

Visited Bar Harbor with my family. It was just a couple minutes from the parking lot into Acadia National Park on our bikes. We left our car parked at the hotel and found the access road to the carriage roads in Acadia is just down the hill. Made it really easy getting into the park for a ride.

What a great addition to Bar Harbor! The views from breakfast and the pool were spectacular.
