I am giving this hotel a 5 star for cleanliness and beautiful rooms. I was disappointed that they offered no compensation for our a. C. Not working. It was hot and we couldn't do anything about it. They offered to have the maintenance guy come fix it around 430am. I am not going to disrupt everyone else in the room and tell them to get dressed because some guy is going to try and fix it in the middle of the night. In my opinion we either should have gotten a new room or a discount or something for our trouble. Otherwise, really nice place.

Overall, the hotel location is ideal. It is within walking distance to many downtown restaurants and activities. We only stayed one night in order to catch an AM flight but we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were pleasant and easy to work with. My one compliant would be the bed comfort and cleanliness of the sheets but overall the room was nice and spacious. The complimentary shuttle to the airport and the breakfast at Stella's was fantastic! We would stay here again.

Needed a place to stay in Billings for a night and chose this hotel. So glad I did. I don’t know why anyone would stay anywhere else when I’m Billings. Free shuttle to and from airport, the staff is AMAZING and so friendly and helpful, the room was good, the location is great to be able to grab lunch or dinner at the fine dining downtown, and the best part of all… they give you a REAL, free breakfast from Stella’s Restaurant next door. Yea that’s right, no more microwaved hotel breakfast! I got a huge serving of hash browns, bacon, egg, toast and ham for free! If you look at my other reviews I’m generally fairly critical of places, this place earned its 5 star review. The people were seriously the best and went above and beyond—it felt like personalized and personal service, which is a big deal today in a world full of large, streamlined businesses where you generally feel like a number. They made me feel like a person here. Thanks!

We selected the Clocktower Inn because of the price and location. We were more than satisfied with those two criteria. As it turns out, our travels to the 4 various events we attended, radiated out from the Clocktower… It was centrally located in to all events. That made it VERY convenient. Our "Home Base" was always nearby. Beyond that, the amenities we're wonderful. The breakfast service that was provided, was at a TOP RATED restaurant adjacent to the Inn. You couldn't ask for better service, better selection, nor more convenience. We also appreciated the fact that they comped us with Reward Points for the services we didn't choose to use. A very pleasant experience.

Incredible breakfast. Bring your appetite. I had ham and cheese omelet, hash browns and toast plus bottomless coffee. The room was typical 2 queen. The place was pretty full and I can see why.

An older style hotel, that has been kept up well over the years. Our room were recently remodeled. Excellent parking. Good coffee and muffins in the lobby. Breakfast were absolutely fantastic.

Great downtown location with lots of walkable options for dining, entertainment and shopping. Good parking. Great guest breakfast at adjacent bakery/restaurant. All around great experience.

The hotel didn't look like it would be much from the outside, but the amenities were fantastic. Shower was a dual head with a rain shower. Fridge in room. Nice dressing mirror sink area.

This hotel was recommended to us by the guest ranch where we stayed. The outside appearance doesn’t do the hotel justice. Everything was clean and the bathroom had 2 shower heads! Breakfast is complimentary at the place next door, Stella’s. You will NOT be disappointed!

It is an older motel with atmosphere that suits it. It is clean and reasonably priced. Breakfast was not what we expected — it fell short of those served at other Best Western Motels.

Very convenient downtown place to stay! I had no car and I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go. There is a shuttle available for longer/quicker travels. Nice breakfast in the morning from Stellas!

Comfortable and clean. Only a couple blocks from some fun pubs downtown. Great free breakfast next door but get there early cause the locals love it too.

I could not ask for a better experience! The staff is incredibly helpful, respectful and nice. The rooms have heated tiles which make it extra comfy. Best part about the stay is they give you coupons to the restaurant (Stella's) next door for a free breakfast. Get the Breakfast Sandwich and a Cinnamon Bun.

Amazing place. Best Western in name, but boutique hotel in style. Would stay again. Very friendly staff and clean and unique rooms.

Clean and out of this world customer service. Breakfast at Stellas a huge bonus! Fresh squeezed orange juice, homemade corned beef hash, and wonderful customer service. My favorite place to eat in Billings.

Nicely remodeled, clean, and great breakfast next door included. But, the simple fact the rooms open outside keeps me from rating this higher. Big bummer in winter when it's sub-zero and I listened to maintenance hammering ice outside late into the night.

Really nice bargain. Clean rooms, nice space for the price. Staff is really great. The complimentary breakfast is at Stella's across the driveway. Stella's is really awesome. The location is great for downtown Billings. It is within 15 minutes of the airport. I will stay there again.

The room is clean very spacious everything is very nice everyone is very helpful very nice. Love the that fact that everything is not far is in walking distance and the employees here are awesome. They greet you with a warm smile and open arms. Will most definitely be returning And most definitely recommend.

Central location, good breakfast.

I was only able to stop for the night while moving and had given no previous notice due to not knowing how far I would be able to make it in 9 hours on the road with a pet. When I arrived, in the Butte, Montana Best Western, the area was easy to get to. My room was clean. I was greeted with a delicious breakfast which was free in their restaurant, and my pet was able to get out of the carrier for a few hours. I was able to get some much needed rest and leave quickly to get back on the road early in the morning. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone traveling through or even staying in that part of Montana.

I have stayed here off and on for the past 8 years and it doesn't disappoint. Having Stella's next door is a big plus as they are a great breakfast joint! They have always worked hard to keep the hotel updated and with it being right in the City Center you have everything you need and only a few minutes from the airport or interstate. Create a better fitness center onsite and I will give it 5 stars.

Very nice place. Heavy plate glass showers doors. Great shower hardware. Luxurious bed. Free breakfast. I come here every time I come to Billings.

This isn't a 5 star hotel or anything, but it's good for what it is. The room was cozy and well suited for couples (2 shower heads in the shower and sink/vanity outside the bathroom). Internet, breakfast and parking are free and the place is clean. It's nothing fancy, but it's good for the price.

I decided to stay at the Clock Tower because it was recommend from a friend that stayed there this summer. In the winter when I have medical appointments, I don always like to travel on bad roads coming from Cody. So I usually go up the night before. The last two times I stay at a motel next to the hospital. The room had a bad odor and there were homeless people hanging out next to the building. I was very uncomfortable as being by myself. When talking to a friend she recommended the Clock Tower, so I decided to try it. I was very pleased with my decision. The staff was wonderful and the room was clean and comfortable! I would recommend this place to anyone. The price was very reasonable not to mention the great breakfast! You can't go wrong in staying here! It was Great! I will be back!

When going to Billings this is the place to stay. Right in town and a straight shot to everywhere else. It has a good restaurant right next door and many others within walking distance. Shopping is also pretty close if you need to do so. The hospital is also right up the way. The freeway is not far and has easy access.

The Clock Tower Inn has become our favorite place to stay in Billings, MT. They take great care of us. Parking can be a little rough, but the staff make it worthwhile. We are always greeted by an employee named Stan, and we just love him. He remembered me when I called to speak to him from Las Vegas where we were vacationing. He confirmed the weather for me so I could get friends to come meet me in Billings, MT to bring me winter clothing. He had to change the reservations to put two more people in our room and add another bed, and never complained once. We were coming in late from our flight and he was so helpful. The motel is located downtown Billings, MT and is close to everything we want to do for entertainment. We walk where we want to go from this motel. It is always clean, has refrigerators in the room, and always offers us a great breakfast at a local restaurant on the property. Stella's restaurant is very famous in Billings. We will stay at this Best Western for years to come.

The Clocktower is in the heart of Billings' downtown. One can walk to the theater or the courthouse, four great restaurants and a dozen small eateries. Inexpensive, clean and well staffed, It is an old fashioned motor hotel that allows you to drive up to the door of your room. Stella's restaurant is on the premises and has a great breakfast, Montana style.

For best western hotel it’s very nice comfortable beds and the hotel room was very clean and the hotel room was very nice and the hotel has a great restaurant and bakery on site! Raspberry scones are the bomb. The chilly is very good and they have gluten free options too. In the bakery and on the menu. The front deck young man was very helpful and very well dressed…

Very nice hotel — clean, comfortable, and secure. Didn't feel nervous or anxious during my stay, because the security was top notch. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and Stella's Diner is great for breakfast. Bed was comfortable and the furnace was efficient.

It's a nicely situated hotel in downtown Billings, we were greeted warmth by Stan on check in. All good. BUT, at 2 in the morning it became clear that there was a pest infestation in the bed/carpets. Called the night manager & were speedily reassigned to another room. Good response but a broken night's sleep.

What a horrible experience. The front staff was beyond rude asking me for my personal information when I was still in line. Room was filthy. I called ahead of time and asked for a pet room was assured it was no problem. Then charged $260 for having a pet. When I called back about, totally confused, I was again treated rudely on the phone and told by the same person that he had my signature and was nothing he could do. Would not let me talk to manager. Worst hotel experience of my entire life please pass this place by. It is right next to a lot nicer hotels for the same price.

Comfortable, clean, quiet in a central location within easy reach of lots of local restaurants. Professional and helpful staff. Good value. I appreciated the free covered parking option for my motorcycle. The hearty and fresh breakfast is the best motel breakfast I've had — at their neighboring restaurant (using a voucher offering 10 breakfast options).

This is a great place to stay & not overpriced. Clean, comfortable & very friendly staff. The breakfast that is provided @ Stella's is excellent. We also ate at the Montana Brewing Co. Which was also excellent & on a list of establishments that provided 10% off with the presentation of your BW room card. We will definitely return for another visit in the future.

Stayed here because of advertised pool. Pool was closed. No mention of seasonality on website. Drug deals happening in the driveways, but neat places for music and food nearby. Free breakfast from little cafe attached was enormous, fresh and hot. Night desk staff not the brightest or friendliest.

This is my second stay at Clocktower. It is a great place and location. The staff was very helpful my last visit. I would stay here again if I return to Billings. Breakfast at Stella's was amazing as before. The greatest thing about this place is they allow pets.

There are three separate buildings that rooms are on the second and third floor. The first floor is for parking but has a height restriction on about 6'3". So big vehicles be aware. "The big sky" building section has almost direct access to the pool minus a gate. The single King bed with pull out sofa was very spacious. They do offer a government rate, have a small work out facility and the breakfast is a voucher to an adjacent restaurant "kitchen & bakery"

Clean room, cordial front desk, and a free breakfast at the fantastic Stellas. Only down side was the TV remote couldn't operate the TV.

The hotel itself, as well as the interior, were clean and taken care of, the staff was friendly, and the bed was comfy. The reason for one star is that you cannot close the curtains that would make it possible for people outside to see in. I don't know if this is just an isolated event, but a man walked by my room numerous times peering in.

Nice place. Clean rooms, nice staff. The rooms were a little small, but nice. The best part of our stay was the breakfast. They let you rat at the restaurant next door " Stella's ". Great food.

Booked room on Priceline. Very noisy. Can hear neighbors talking. Can hear housekeeping carts at 9pm shuttling towels. Can hear and feel neighbors doors shutting. Barking dogs. 2-3:30 am last night the drunks returning from the downtown bars with loud talking and slamming doors. I will never stay here again.

Great downtown location. Clean rooms. Fairly quiet if you're on the 2nd floor. The 1st floor, not so much.

The room is great; clean, nice amenities. However, when I walked to the front desk to check in the lobby REAKED of stale cigarette butts, and so did the front desk clerks! Also, Stella's — the associated diner — is NOT the best breakfast in town as they and the hotel like to advertise! My breakfast was not hot, there were flies everywhere, and my server was oblivious in trying to pour me more coffee when I had only taken one sip! I kindly said no thank you to her and she gave me a dirty look! Overall, the rooms are great; front desk service was rude and smelled like cigarettes and the breakfast left much to be desired. Good luck finding a nice place to stay in the slum that is Billings, MT. You'll find much better luck to stay in Bozeman, MT and make the extra two hour drive.

The motel is in a busy part of town so it is understandably noisy, pets are allowed, we were awakened by a barking dog early in the morning. The room was small but adequate, however our recent stay was marred by an incident that occurred regarding housekeeping. When I called the office to discuss the matter the woman I talked to became defensive and rude, instead of an apology, she tried turning the table on me and said "that didn't happen here" and then hung up on me. Needless to say we won't be staying there again.

Parking is horrible, partly due to poor layout/location, and partly due to motorcyclists taking a single space each. Service was helpful and kind. Rooms are clean but did not wow me. No microwave, poor coffee machine, and no real good coffee places close by. All rooms exit to outside, but no smoking anywhere. Take that as a pro/con to your choosing.

We had a great stay. The room was clean & well appointed, mattresses a little on the soft side but good nevertheless, towels were EXCELLENT (I'm a towel snob) and front desk service was perfect. If we're ever back in Billings, we'll stay there again.

Front desk was very nice. Room was decent for a night but could use better attention on housekeeping as much hair in sink and tub and blood stain on sheet. Past that it was OK, would not stay again myself though.

Don't stay here if you have pets. The Clocktower Inn had a nice layout, a designated pee area for dogs, and a fantastic bakery just around the corner. The rooms were comfortable with humongous beds and tiny, but nice, bathroom. In my opinion, this hotel should not be dog friendly. To begin, it is located on Interstate 90 in the middle of the city. Walking your furry friends is a difficult task. Secondly, they put us on the second floor. With no elevator and a staircase that wasn't completely closed off, travelling up and down the stairs with a senior, stubby-legged canine was impossible. We therefore had to carry her up and down with every trip. This got annoying considering she is 50 lbs. Additionally, the rooms are quite small in themselves. I would not stay here again with pets, and advise other pet owners to do the same.

The Clocktower Inn became a family tradition during visits to my mother, and this may explain why we looked past its gradual decline over the years. As the family gathered for Mom's funeral earlier this month, then, the utter lack of customer service opened our eyes to the necessity of cancelling reservations made a month earlier. We were deeply grateful for Hampton Inn's gracious accommodation of our urgent needs. The Clocktower Inn is old, has bad parking, and apparently has enough repeat business to abandon customer service altogether. The Clocktower Inn WAS a nice place to stay.

I've stayed at the Clock Tower a few times. It is one of the nicest hotels in Billings and that's not an exaggeration, I've stayed at a lot of places around and this one can't be beat in the Magic City.

Room was good, front desk service was difficult. I left a business card for the manager to call me and attempt to resolve issue, never happened. Went to Kelly Inn the next day and a total 180 turn for the better. Parking is horrible. Stay clear if possible.

We had been driving for hours when we decided to stop and get a room the staff is amazing they were very friendly and very helpful I would recomend this place to anyone looking for a room.

If you stay longer than a day get ready for housekeeping to freak out and come every hour in the a. M. Along with being accused of smoking in rooms, which didnt happen, (btw front desk and housekeeping were seen smoking on ground, even on balcony) I took pictures :) hassled about having to pay fee for false accusations (when in fact other guest, plus hotel staff were breaking), was working all day to come back hearing that odd traffic, along with a list of false things were going on in the room, dogs barking in the am, along with the pet smell you can imagine~ laundry and sauna were closed whole stay, hope no one makes the same mistake, there are closer hotels that are way nicer and have friendly services, along with accommodations that are listed which are really available.

I LOVE THIS HOTEL! They are extremely pet friendly since the owner has 2 dogs. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Huge flat screen TV small little office space and very comfy rooms! I will be returning here.
