What I did like is that the staff was friendly, the continental breakfast wasn't bad, and it was located close to everything. What I didn't like is that the place definitely needs an upgrade, the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke (they offer smoking rooms), and there were questionable stains on a chair that my son sat down in. It's a typical inexpensive hotel, so I didn't have my standards up too high. For the rates, I'd stay again.

The motel lobby was hot and cluttered. The check in was slow. The rooms were air conditioned. The corridors were not. My bed was hard. The inside of the building was run down. The hot breakfast was cold! Oddly enough, the staff was friendly. However, I will not return! Poorly managed.

Kim was very helpful and Sonny was over the top. If ever near here this is a must stay. My room was clean as well as the rest of the facility. They had a small round pool tub that was not working, however this is not part of the 5 scale star rating for me. I will stay again if in the area!

My sister and I booked a room with Super 8. We had a long drive and all we wanted was to get in our room and relax. The owner was at the front desk when we arrived and hour early for check-in. He was not a nice man! But said no check-in come back 1 hour. (He didn't speak good English. ) But anyways we did come back later checked in. This time a nice lady at the front desk! She even helped carried all my stuff up the stairs. No Elevator! And I have a bad back… My sister and I got in the room and omg it was nasty! Never have I ever seen such filthy place! I tried to call down to the front desk a few times but no answer. So I walked down the lady asked if something was wrong I said "oh yes" I shower her the pictures we took. She was willing to give us a new room. I said no way after seeing this room I just want my money back. I did tell her the housekeeper should be fired! Soap scum from that's people that rented the room was still in the tub. I wiped to see if it was just the tub or scum. It wiped right off.

Furniture was old along with the bedding, shower took awhile to generate hot water, pool and spa was out of order, I'll definitely look elsewhere to stay next time im in Carthage.

ROOM WAS AMAZING… We came in around 8pm and the gentleman at the front desk was just amazing. The beds are new and we had a great nights sleep… The food was great. They had a full breakfast which is great when you got to get up and go early in the morning. I will be staying here every time I come through the area in the future… couldn't have asked for a better hotel… prices are awesome… thank you Super 8 for making our stay memorable.

Not happy with this Super 8. Location? Bad.

It was just ok, there was a smell in the hallway, the gradually got into the room. Made us cough, so not to good of stay.

Only complaint would be easter pressure in the shower… everything else of our stay was perfect.

Very dirty and not worth the money. Worst motel I have stayed in in years.

Room was clean & comfortable. Manager went out of his way to be sure we got the room we needed.

If you need a place for the night it's fine but it is nothing out of the ordinary. Free Breakfast. Recliner in room.

Very nice employees and affordable. But the room was very unclean. There were so many stains on one chair we wouldn't sit in it. A copious stain on the bed sheet, we slept on top of the covers on one side. A towel along the bottom of the fridge, I guess it leaked. Empty tissue box. Not a comfortable stay unfortunately.

Stopped here for a night for a clean and quiet room and that's what I received! It's an older hotel so expect that some areas will be a little worn. There was 2 different thickness sizes for the beds in my room and I chose the thicker one which was very comfy! A continental breakfast (rolls/muffins, biscuits with gravy, coffee/juice, cereal) is served also there's a pool and hot tub but it looked to be under repair at the time. Amanda at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable!

Just passing through. Good, clean motel, friendly staff when I arrived, decent breakfast.

Air conditioning and fridge didn't work. Rooms beautiful and clean.

We needed a room quick for the night. It did the job, overall pretty clean other than socks and other trash under the edge of the bed. The staff was very friendly.
