Great service nice and clean room.

Comfortable beds. Breakfast could use help.

Amazing experience! It’s difficult to find a hotel that is pet friendly for multiple dogs. We had been on the road for 13 hours and were all exhausted. Fairfield welcomed us with open arms and we couldn’t be more happy with our experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Fairfield will now be our go to hotel when traveling! Thank you so much.

Check in is quick and efficient. I'm not a fan of the added $30.00 deposit they charge my card for incidentals. Or the 5 to 7 business days it will take to get it back post checkout, but it is what it is.
Covid19 has all of the hotels amenities closed, with the exception of the business center. They are however offering a grab n go breakfast which has a juice box, granola bar, banana, and muffin.
Our room was clean and comfortable. I had a good night's sleep.

My stay was relaxing. The room was clean. Staff was courteous.

Excellent location and staff. The hotel was clean and well maintained. I really liked the secure and enclosed patio right outside the dining area. My only complaint is I wish the water in room 408 got hotter faster. It seemed to take forever to only get warm.

Very nice and polite service. Very clean and well kept. Nice that they gave pizza and beer, and wine for dinner. Then had breakfast the next morning — awesome stay!

Very great place to stay. Very clean. ALL the maids were EXCEPTIONALLY pleasant and nice. The breakfast was a little of a let down, but after all… you don't get to order it. Overall, GREAT!

We were in Texarkana for a wedding, and we stayed at the Fairfield Inn on Mall Dr. For 4 days and 3 nights. First off, the cleaning staff were terrific! They were a very courteous, fun team. Several of the ladies took special care and made extra effort to accommodate the needs of our children. The hotel appeared to be clean. Our rooms were clean, bedding smelled and appeared clean, and bathrooms were clean. The beds were comfortable enough, with no complaints. The pool is small…at one point, we had seven kids and two adults in the water which left very little room for swim or play. The exercise room is likewise small, but the equipment worked, so, no complaints. Breakfast was average…everyone was full, and no one got sick. Our party had several reservation mistakes…all made by Fairfield and all corrected or accommodations made by Fairfield. In one of our rooms, the sofa-bed was broken, and the mattress was in horrendous condition. We reported this to the front desk staff, who was very apologetic and appeared very concerned about our discomfort…the sofa-beds in our other six rooms were fine but also had worn out sofa-bed mattresses. Very limited televisions channel selection. Would have given Fairfield Inn on Mall Dr. Three stars (after all, it was just an average stay), but the hotel staff was simply awesome…best we have interacted with in a long time.

Great place, good staff. Love the breakfast. This is the only place I know that serves dinner free on Tuesday and Thursdays. Only gave lower rating cause beds are terrible need something better. Other then that it would be 5 stars.

My husband & I really enjoyed our stay at this location. Clean, beautiful room. Terrific breakfast that took into consideration various dietary needs or preferences. This was quite unusual for most hotels! Pleasant, helpful staff at the desk (both late night & morning) & of course, in the great dining area. We will definitely be putting this hotel on our "favorites" list. Oh, and the outside landscaping was gorgeous!

The staff is always genuinely friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and they have a lovely common area. This pet friendly hotel includes a gym, indoor pool and outdoor patio with a barbeque.

I had a great stay here. Everything was perfect. I especially appreciate being given a room in a quiet location on the top floor as I was travelling alone and needed to work on something on my computer. I wish all Marriott properties would do the same when I ask for a quiet room. I will be staying here when in Texarkana from now on.

Our room was fantastic and our commodities and amenities were very pleasant. Very nice hotel! However, our receptionist, who checked us in, Brad, was a complete jerk and an extremely rude person. We had some problems with our check-in and was not willing to work with us. He really ruined my family’s feeling about staying at this hotel. On a sweeter note, Jackie was an amazing receptionist and definitely had our backs. Brad needs to be rid of. Very nice hotel, though.

The customer service was excellent, willing to work with us because we were staying there for work for a couple weeks. Helped us in any way. Rooms were clean, quiet, and was always greeted when we came in very friendly front desk.

We had a very nice stay. The breakfast was wonderful, and the lady who runs it takes great pride in what she does, that shines through. The rooms were nice and clean, the location was good. They were welcoming to my dogs. The bed was REALLY hard, and the only real complaint I have is that at 5am, exactly, housekeeping slammed the door right next to our room, over and over. Every time it would wake us up and set the dogs to barking. We would get them settled and try to go back to sleep when "WHAM" there it was again, and they would have LOUD conversations on the hall. Not a problem at noon, but annoying at 5 am.

Tyler was GREAT! We lost one of our pets and the maintenance staff helped us find him. The room was wonderful as well. Thank you all for you kindness. Booked the room for our trip back to Texas because the staff was great!

The first room I was given hadn't been cleaned. The second met my expectations and I was given a friend's and family rate for the initial disappointment.

Check in with our dog was no problem. Clean room and nice breakfast!

Great customer service, polite staff, terrible location and it STINKS… as in smells. Entering this location is not as convenient. Only one way in and out with the entrance right off the service road. Comes up incredibly fast, if you miss it, you have to loop around a couple miles to try again. That’s not even all that bad except for the rotting carcass smell which is apparently from a paper mill. The smell is nauseating and Marriott should have thought at least once about its location. It doesn’t just smell outside; but in the halls and rooms as well. Next time I come to Texarkana, I’ll be sure to find another hotel location in a less smelly part of town.

I always stayed here to go on business trips. Everyone is friendly and clean and every time I visit. It is also close to the highway No. 30, so traffic is convenient.

The staff was great bed not as soft as other Marriott hotels, bath tub had several strands of hair (jeepers), the half and half was clumpy… But Kendall and Letrecia went ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE MY STAY SUPERB! BECAUSE OF THESE TWO FRONT DESK EMPLOYEES I CHOSE TO REMAIN HERE.

We booked two non consecutive nights here (we pass through Texarkana on our way to visit family) based on the number of 5 star reviews and the fact that there don't seem to be many pet friendly hotels in Texarkana. The first night we stayed, we walked in our room to find the heat cranked up to high (it was ~60 outside, not exactly winter weather) and the room reeked of mildew. The fridge was tiny and had no freezer compartment. We'd gotten in late and just decided to deal with it; they'd have a second chance on our way back through. When we came back two weeks later we were given the exact same room, which still stank, though at least the heat wasn't turned up to full blast. We requested and were given a different room, which also smelled of mildew albeit not as strongly, probably because of the overwhelming scent of cleaning products coming from the bathroom. Once we got unloaded and everyone situated, I discovered with my sock feet a giant wet spot at the end of the bed where it seemed someone had spilled water or perhaps cleaning product. The fridge was still tiny though at least this one had a freezer compartment. They are evidently also not allowed to give you extra pillows, though the girl at the front desk was happy to give me an extra blanket. This hotel is right next to a very well-lit car dealership, allows pets, and does not appear to be infested with any type of vermin, so it has that much going for it, but we won't be back.

This place is awesome! Stay every time we drive through on our way home.

Enjoyed staying here with my family. Washer was broken, but staff was very accommodating and nice to work with. Lots of restaurants nearby.

My family and I checked in the staff was extremely helpful and nice, very clean, hot breakfast and pet friendly. We will be stopping back in during our trips.

Excellent hotel! Extremely clean, looked brand new. Room was nice size, comfortable bed, granite countertop in bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, comfy chair, good sized TV and nice sized desk. Hot breakfast was very good as well (the fresh waffles in the shape of the state of Texas was a. Ice touch)! My only complaints were that you must have to book the room in advance online to get the price shown on the web. I arrived and the rate was $16 higher than shown… got a small discount for AAA member, but still paid $12 more than shown. Also, the sheer curtains do not keep the outside lights out, and the curtains do not pull shut in order to block out the lights. Other than those, it would have been a five star!

Place is very nice, clean and also new. Friendly staff. We were greeted by Kim and she was awesome! Looking forward to our next stay. Fyi, rooms are nice size, not huge, bathrooms have tubs, sheets, comforter, chair and towels very clean. No in-room safe (yes at front desk) coffee maker, fridge, microwave, iron + board, 40 inch tv, all in room.
