Beautiful place with lots of cookies and coffee.

The AC in our room is not working. It’s the end of July and in the 90s everyday. They wouldn’t call a repairman on the first day we arrived since it was 5:30PM and he had already left for the day. They brought us a box fan and said ‘sorry’. The repairman was unable to fix it the next day and no other rooms were available, so we basically got an apology and a hot room for 4 nights/5 days. At check-out they gave me attitude when I asked if we would be charged the full rate. As of now they charged me full rate, so now I get to call tomorrow (since today is Sunday) and argue with the manager. Otherwise, everything was really nice, but you can’t just leave people in a hot room in July in Texas with no other options or offers of assistance.

The managers (day and night) were not very nice, and asked if our room was okay. We appreciated that. The room was very cleaned, and the bed was very comfortable. We will come again.

Thanks for the pet friendly BS on your website. Traveled 600 miles from home just to discover your 100 non refundable deposit as I just checked in. No warning and no options for the night. Enjoy the hundred, last penny ever spent here.

Loved the friendly staff. Made reservations for 2 queens… none were available. But I went thru Expedia and was told they overbooked. Not their fault. Received a roll away but was rather crowded. I always stay at Hampton Inn. They have the most comfortable beds and always clean. Things happen. But we managed.

My family loves the Hampton Inn and Suites. The rooms are always clean and the staff are always very nice. They have an indoor pool that's good for the whole family and an exercise room with treadmills and weight lifting machines. Everything is very well maintained like the grass and flowers. Very nice rooms and they are very affordable.

Continental breakfast has so much variety. Delicious! Easy check in because customer service is very lovely. Room service very considerate. I'll definitely be going back.

The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was very clean. The only problems we encountered were a very loud creaking noise when the bathroom door opened or closed and it would stick on the door frame therefore you had to push it really hard to close it all the way. We also had only one large towel for showers and had to ask staff for another one. The check in staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. There's a microwave and large mini fridge in the room. I enjoyed the cookies in the lobby during the day. There is coffee, hot water, and tea bags available 24 hours in the lobby. Breakfast was good — eggs, oatmeal, toast, pastries, fruit, nuts, waffles, coffee, juice, milk, and sausage. The price was reasonable, a little over $200 for 3 nights. This will be my choice of hotel when I'm in the area and I highly recommend it.

Excellent stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. Quinn at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. My husband and I really did enjoy the variety of breakfast options as well. Great place to stay and will probably book here in the future.

Excellent hotel! Beds were comfy, super clean hotel and room. Breakfast was normal but offered extra toppings and flavors here and there to make it stand out. Service was excellent too. Safe neighborhood.

Was only there for an event, but lobby was very nice. There was a slight issue, but once brought to Management's attention, they were right on top of it and corrected it.

The parking was free and wheelchair accessible. An electronic device opened the main ground-level entry doors. The desk-clerk was accommodating. Our rooms were neat and aesthetically pleasing. A refrigerator and microwave were included. The in-door pool water and room was uncomfortably cool. We contacted the hotel staff and the maintenance man adjusted the temperature. The next morning the water and room temperature had warned to our liking. The complimentary hot breakfast included fruit, juices, breads, dairy, meats, cereals and etc. The chef was people-friendly and enjoyed talking about her recipes.

Great rooms, great breakfast, and great service! The manager is a very kind, accommodating man, and this hotel is very worth your time.

Room was clean, staff was really nice and helpful. Bad part was room was HOT! The ac unit will only cool down to 67 degrees. We had to go to a local Wal-Mart and purchase a small fan to be able to sleep. My son and husband who like the temperature warmer was complaining of the room being to hot. I know hotels keep the thermostats set on VIP mode but they really need to keep them lower than what they are actually set for. Other than this our stay was nice. Will probably look into a different hotel next time though and hope it's cooler or bring our fan again.

The rooms and staff as well as the breakfast bar are definitely very good. The odor inside of the hotel is terrible. Not sure if it is from the papermill in Ashdown, however, the odor is worse inside than it is outdoors.

The GM and her staff at this hotel are absolutely AWESOME! They are friendly, kind and truly professional when dealing with their guest. From the moment you walk in their door you are greeted with a warm smile and are made to feel like you're the most important person in the universe. The reception area, the breakfast area, the indoor pool and the guest rooms are exceptional. I truly give this hotel and its staff the very highest rating. A great place to stay while in Texarkana, TX.

Very friendly front desk staff. Indoor pool is a great touch, though the gym is a bit small and heats up pretty fast. Breakfast was wonderful, and the folks attending to it were wonderfully polite and helpful (they even came around and collected our trash when we were finished). The room was clean and comfortable and there were a couple chain restaurants in walking distance in a pinch. Great nights stay for the price.

The hotel is nice and staff are all very friendly, but the hotel does not allow pets and when you have a little dog that travels with you it makes it difficult.

So disappointed in this property, I referred some friends from our football organization to the hotel since we had an out of town game. We stayed on Oct 6th after checking in two of my friends found bed bugs in their sheets and pillows. Even though our room was okay I was not about to have anyone stay there especially since we had small children with us. The front desk clerk contacted their manager and gave us two options to stay at a hotel close by or one in Arkansas which was too far. We were referred to the Town place Suites by Marriott which I found so unusual since I work for Hilton and Marriott is a hotel chain that we compete against. There was a perfectly good Hilton Garden Inn next door but the front desk stated they would comp our stays and we would still get our 2 queen size rooms at the other hotel. When we packed all our belongings/kids at 2 am we arrived at the Marriott only for the front desk to state the Hampton never told them how many rooms we needed and they had no queen rooms available so we all had to stay in king rooms with sofa beds. The whole experience wasn't good at all and quite embarrassing referring friends to the hotel that I personally work for. I then found out later since I'm a gold member the Hampton had a display of water and snacks for gold and diamond members that I wasn't even given when I checked in.

We stopped by on the way from Tennessee to San Antonio. The room was large and comfortable. Only complaint is the sheets for the pullout bed were not in the room and we had a long wait for them.

Traveling and this was a stopover. Let me bring my road bike to the room for safety. Room and facilities were clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was adequate.

The location is good if you need to get on I-30 and keep driving. There are also plenty of food choices nearby.

Booked this place on the way to San Antonio and was pleased enough to book it again on the way back to NY. This time I got a room with a single King, loving this room; comes complete with a fridge & microwave. Restaurants are close by, with an Outback right in the parking lot. Oh yea, free Wi-Fi so you can check your email.

Great staff! Went above and beyond to accommodate a displaced family from Hurricane Harvey. The Holiday Inn on the other hand didn't care to be bothered by it…

Was on the way back from a friend's funeral in Southern Illinois and had to hold up somewhere in a safe zone, which ended up being here in Texarkana, due to hurricane Harvey as we were travelling back to Houston. This is a top notch hotel, clean rooms with friendly and very polite staff. Would definitely recommend staying here for anyone travelling through Texarkana. Thank you to the staff at this Hampton Inn.

Nice place but mattresses need to be replaced! These mattresses had springs with very little pillow top… and they wiggled around every time we moved. I pulled the sheets back and I could tell by looking at the material and tags that they were really old mattresses. It's aggravating! I should be able to stay at ANY Hampton Inn and KNOW I am getting a GOOD place to sleep… but it's not the case! It should be consistent! Hampton Inn is usually my favorite hotel … and have reserved rooms in 3 different locations for the next 10 days. If things don't improve on the next location… we may have to cancel the last one. Breakfast is not good like it used to be either. How hard is it to cook scramble a few eggs?

I absolutely loved everything about my stay! My first stay in a suite and it was my husband's and I birthday weekend! We hated it was only one night. That bed was soooooo soothing. My only complaint comes from Texarkana's water system. It tastes like fish tank water and it stinks! Side rant over… We will be back!

Room was very good. Bedding, etc was fine. Breakfast had few protein options (bacon and some sort of pre-made bagel/eggs/bacon/cheese thing). Breakfast floor area was very sticky.

Rooms were clean and cool lobby was in good order, staff was friendly.

So so. Small details missing added up. No soap. No trash liners. Shower didn't turn all the way on. Poor room to room sound insulation. On brighter note, customer service at front desk was excellent. Lobby was decorated nice. Plus a nice stack of cookies and USA TODAY.

Terrible customer service! Lady at front desk was rude. This is my 2nd and last stay here. I'm not sure why I came back. The guy that was at the front desk was equally as rude.

Everything about our stay this past weekend was amazing. The staff was so helpful, the breakfast — oh, the breakfast was incredible! Everything was nice and clean. Very comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely reccomend this hotel to ANYONE staying in Texarkana :).

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) spent one night here. The front desk clerk was very friendly and easy to talk to. She mentioned the note that we would be getting in late, so it appeared she had been waiting for us. Outback and Olive Garden are within walking distance. The kids loved the pool. Free, hot breakfast was better than expected.
