I was in Little Rock to visit my daughter and thought the advertising on the website indicated this might be the place to stay. Boy was I wrong. The only staff that was friendly was the maintenance man who came to check out the heater that was not working, even though it was 30 degrees outside. It took 2 days for management to get it fixed as I was told that they did not have a replacement. The room itself looked like it had been collecting dust for months. The toilet seat was defective and footprints were on the wall behind the door. Not at all like the pictures on the web. The TV did not work… only snow. (All I wanted was to check the weather report and the local news. ) They advertise housekeeping every two days… that's a joke. We never received clean towels and the beds were never made after we arrived. (The spreads look like they are straight out of the 60's. ) They also advertise free parking, but the lot was full of construction vehicles. You are lucky to find a spot if you arrive later in the day. To finish it off, the woman at the desk harassed me for not wearing a mask and refused to accept that I had a medical exemption. Then she physically blocked and assaulted me when I attempted to get my "grab and go" breakfast, located 2 steps inside the door. I had to demand that she let go of my arms and move 6 feet away. Not at all the kind of "service" that I expected.

Front desk staff is attentive and sensitive to your needs. The rooms are comfortable clean easy on the eyes.

This is by far the best hotel I have found in little rock. The manager and her staff full heartedly care about each and every one of their guest. They continue to upgrade the hotel and make it more comfortable. It definitely feels like home and I can't thank them enough.

So convenient for UAMS patients with a 24 hour shuttle available to the hospital. Friendly, clean rooms, complimentary breakfast.

Some of the nurses at UAMS recommended Markham House Suites and I am sure thankful they did. The place is by far not the newest, nor prettiest place to stay, but it is CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, and the staff are AWESOME! Thomas, the shuttle driver is one of the kindest, most caring strangers I have ever met that within the first few minutes of meeting we were instant friends. Thank you for watching out for me Thomas! Christine, one of the front desk people is also deserving of kudos. She is so friendly, helpful and has a beautiful warm smile that makes one feel welcome and special immediately. The price of the room was fair, plus they give a discount to family members with a loved one in the hospital. They have a great free breakfast serving both cold and HOT foods. A huge selling point for me was that they offer FREE shuttle service 24hours/day to anywhere within a 3 mile radius of the property. That was extremely helpful for me to get back and forth to UAMS. I can't say enough good things about this place. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Very nice place golf course and park. The zoo is not to fair down the street. I love it here because they have two bedroom suites.

My family and I came here in a time of need. My husband and son were in UAMS on 2 different floors. The suites staff was extremely accommodating and asked about our family members by name. Breakfast was good and convenient. There is a guest laundry facility that is clean and we used it a number of times. If we come back to Little Rock we will be using this as our place to stay.

Even though we were put off by some of the previous posts we decided to book here anyway. It is a Charming place, nice breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff. Across the street from a park where you can take a nice leisurely beautiful stroll, nice playground for kids at the park. All in all a good experience and we would come here again.

Clean reasonably comfortable accommodations. Breakfast is more than continental, less than full breakfast. We were in room 316 in building opposite office. Internet was a little spotty (kept having to reconnect devices) and air conditioner couldn't quite keep up with summer sun. Staff was polite and helpful. Nice park across street for walkers. A couple of restaurants within walking distance. I'd stay there again, but request a different room because of air conditioning.

Located close to ball field and zoo. They run a shuttle to UAMS for those here for medical procedure. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean! Very pleased for the price!

This is a good place for the price. It's pretty small and the parking is very limited. The desk staff are nice, but are hard to find late at night, as they also have to drive the courtesy van. Our room was clean and well supplied. Breakfast was convenient.

Our daufhter is in the NICU at Arkansas children's and this hotel was adequate. Not super nice or having any frills. Room did not get cleaned during our two nights there so that was kind of gross. Would probably not stay there again.

Was very disappointed, ac did not work in room, only heater. Frig didn't keep drinks cold, struggled getting door to unlock and open, but most off poor channel choices, I had my daughter with me and she was bored cause there was nothing to watch. We won't stay there again.

Very nice and clean. It would be hard to find better for the same price. I was very pleased.

Very pleasant staff. They worked with us to get a room that would be more convenient for my husband who is disabled. Need to come back for more appt. And they are being very helpful.

Although the staff was friendly, I would not recommend anyone stay here. My daughter found a bed bug in her bed. Staff really didn’t do anything offered another room as if we would want to stay any longer. Left at 2am in the morning to get another hotel. Definitely not ever staying here again don’t care how convenient it is to the hospital. It make me pick a star to rate but definitely not even a one star.

When I arrived at 11pm, the front desk clerk was very kind. My 21 year old daughter would book another night because I would be in the hospital. He said that was fine. My daughter went to book for another night, the day time front desk clerk would not allow her to book because her ID SAID UNDER 21 even though my daughter was born in 1996. The front desk clerk started that she does not look at the ID further because she finds it not necessary. After enough complaining, she finally realized (by using a calculator) my daughter will be 22 years old in a couple of months. Then she charged my daughter $20.00 more than the night before. I am going to contact her supervisor. If I can't get a resolution, I DEFINITELY will not visit this hotel again. Also, there was a shortage in the lights.

Excellent place to stay if you need a nice clean room near UAMS in Little Rock. Would highly recommend the 1 bedroom Suite.

Customer service is great and the accommodations are as expected but the establishment does attract college aged kids that enjoy partying and parking is limited.

Nice and clean. Everybody was so kind to us.

Place was a little dirty and constantly heard water pipes all night long. Had to get rags and soap from lobby because cleaning crew didnt restock the room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, felt springs and appeared to be a twenty year old cheap mattress with worn out sheets. While mother in law was staying there the hot water went out and the staff were resiliant in discounting the room. Do not recommend.

It’s not just the location of Markham House, it was the friendliness of the staff and the concern. It was pouring rain and I was so tired. The bed was ok, but I slept like a baby. I left my wedding ring in the room and when I realized what I’d done, called the front desk. The young woman at the desk went to the room herself, found it and kept it at the desk for me. Thank you so much for your care at a really bad time.

It was perfect for my family and I. We got the one bedroom suite, the staff was good, and the room was clean. The only downfall is if you want food delivered, we had a hard time finding someone who delivered here.

This was a great place to stay while in Little Rock fora family members emergency surgery. The accommodations were adequate and they provide a complimentary shuttle service to the local hospital and also a complimentary breakfast.

Great price and location if you're going to be in the UAMS or Memorial Park area. Right across the street from War Memorial Stadium. Clean room that seemed newly remodeled. We loved the faux wood flooring where you could see that the floor was clean instead of the nasty carpeting that you find in most places that left you wondering about the cleanliness. Room had microwave and fridge which were great to have. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Great room and service for the price. Only complaint would be the pump action soap dispenser in the shower. By the time I got enough soap to wash my body I felt like I had been to the gym. That's petty I know. Would gladly stay there again.

The first room the door was open and someone had been laying in both beds. And it wasn't goldie lox… The second room I killed 3 spiders and the flooring was coming up. I asked when I rented the room was the suite as nice as rejections they stated it was nicer, it wasn't and when I showed the picture of the nice room online she stated that was the regular room, yet the suite was suppose to be nicer? It wasn't and I have to come back to doctor 4 more times and won't be staying there. Oh and the discount was $5.00 for the hospital?! Hope it didn't break you.

Very friendly staff. Good location, near downtown. Shuttle will drive to the Statehouse Convention Center and even offered to stop for food or groceries on the way back. Comfortable, basic room. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable and functional.

Very old. This is a motel. All doors face outside. You couldn't shut the bathroom door of the toilet seat was down. The room was very musty. It was pretty inexpensive so you get what you pay for.

This place is run by liberals, everything sucks here, the breakfast is nasty, the TV is from the 80's, and the staff acts like Hillary Clinton. Fake ass people. Don't stay here.

Way overpriced motel, bad smelling interior, would not recommend. Staff was courteous though.

Rooms were decent but there was mold in the showers and the bathroom which was not acceptable for my mother who received a transplant at UAMS. However the 24 hour shuttle service was very convenient since we were traveling back and forth to the hospital. My family stayed there while she was still in the hospital but moved to a different/cleaner hotel when she got out.

The rooms are very poor quality and smell horribly. If you pay for the room and arent satisfied you will not receive your money back. It is privately owned and poorly operated. The shower doesnt drain so as you take a shower your feet will be submerged in water. The rooms have hard wood floor with soft spots in them, and the beds were lower than my knees. There were absolutely no good qualities about this hotel. Please do not waste your time or funds.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. It is not a chain hotel but the rooms were very clean and beds were pretty comfortable. The shuttle service was awesome and took us to the zoo and back. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful.

Perfect place for people to stay when loved ones are being treated or staying at UAMS. Staff and facilities perfectly cater to this situation, truly a special community, not just a hotel.
