Staff has been great. Very pleasant stay and affordable rates. Only 3 stars because the pool was out of order and hotel is rather dated and could use a freshen up. But it's clean (you can walk barefoot in your room…) and the beds are comfortable. Overall a good balance for budget and amenities.

This was a quiet stay. Even though there were a lot of people there for a martial arts tenement everything seemed calm and the atmosphere was relaxing. I couldn’t hear neighbors or anything from the hallway. The parking was convenient and free. There was an attendant walking around at night so I felt the car was safe. I also walked the dog down the street a ways at night and felt safe. The fast food restaurants in the area had a lot of people but otherwise there wasn’t much going on.

Upon checking in, our reservation couldn’t be found. It was under mine and my husband’s name together. He booked the room he stayed in the previous week and somehow we weren’t able to get that room. So we got put in a room across the hall but our cards wouldn’t work. We had lots of bags plus our toddler, very tired and ready to lay down and an old man screamed at us that we had the wrong room! I apologized and said they told us this was our room. So security came and asked what was going on and we explained, the front desk had no idea who was in that room. And the man inside was getting very irate and loud. We got on the elevator to go back downstairs to see what was going on and they put us in a different room. Which was by the exit and ice maker and all that. Room smelled like smoke, there was a wad of hair on the sheets and the room joined with another so you HAD to make sure it was locked at all times. Not what I wanted being alone with my toddler while hubby is at work 12 hours. So I went down the next morning and they gladly switched my rooms for me and it was much better. Pool is small and looked kind of dirty when we walked by but hopefully it will get cleaned so I can take my daughter. Overall the hotel is okay, needs a good cleaning and updating for sure but has good prices and management seems nice. Would stay here again.

Public microwave does NOT work and staff doesn't care. Market items are very expensive! Charged $13 for a burrito & candy bar! Elevator has loose wires by the buttons. Room is clean & comfortable. Great parking.

Had a great 2 night stay here! The room was clean, my dog got to stay for free! There aren’t many hotels where pets get to stay for free so that was definitely a nice plus. Everyone was super nice. All of the employees greet you or tell you good morning when you are walking around the hotel in the morning. Oh and the lobby was super pretty. Overall my experience here was good and if I come back to Little Rock, I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Great bathroom and easy to use shower with nice hot water, but I was disappointed to find that there wasn’t a fridge in my room. Up on the 7th floor so had no noise issues. Elevators did have a faint Mexican food smell. Breakfast was okay. Fine place if you just want to stay a night, week long stay would be a bit too much.

Entry smelled, the elevators smelled, the hallways smelled and the room smelled. I’m pretty sure there were homeless people living in their cars in the parking garage. If La Quinta is within your budget, I’d recommend staying at another one. We checked out after only a few hours. It reminded me of the hotel in that William Defoe movie.

Very nice, friendly staff. Good downtown location with shuttle service to the airport. Lots of food options. The room was nice and comfy. I think it's an older hotel, but everything was still clean and fresh-looking.

The security guard was amazing! We arrived there from Children's at 4 am and when we pulled up this man that had been walking around outside would not quit walking around the vehicle and being very weird. Security guard made him leave and called the cops. Also, the bed are hands down so comfortable!

Stayed here about a week and a half ago going to oklahoma for family seeing how we stay in FL for being a military family, very clean, very comfortable, staff was super nice, breakfast was yummy. Coming back now stayed in the same hotel again super clean, super nice, ladies at the from were very sweet. We had to change rooms due to the A\C unit not wanting to cool down which was perfectly fine, got moved to a diff room in no time, comfortable beds, easy access to food, nice area, will def be staying again if needed in the future. Parking is great! 5 stars!

We stayed here during a difficult time while our family member was receiving treatment at UAMS. The hotel staff was very accommodating and so helpful. Now we stay here every time we're in Little Rock. I would recommend this place to everyone! And the complimentary breakfast is wonderful!

This hotel was fine for the price. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. The price was exceptionally low.

Decent hotel near enough to the airport. Service was pretty good. Three of the lamps in my room didn't work and it only took two phone calls to fix the issues. Turns out that two lamps didn't even have light bulbs and the third was burnt out. Not sure how that happens, but it was fixed.

Enjoyed my time here. I came to Little Rock for pride and this hotel was very nice. The breakfast was decent. The staff was nice. The room was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place. We were in another hotel and it was horrid. I called here and they said to come on over they had a room for us at the same rate we were paying. Upon check in I was told to make sure we ate breakfast because they serve until 10 on weekends. The staff I have encountered are super nice. Rooms are clean and smell fresh. The hot breakfast is yummy. Lobby is relaxing. Location is near several places to eat at walking distance of less than a block. Starbucks is right down the road. A big PLUS for me. Our son used the workout room several hours. From our room we had a great veiw of the Capital. I would highly recommend this place. I know we plan to come back under better circumstances. Our daughter is in the hospital here in Little Rock. We want to come to just unwind and have a family weekend away from home. Thank you for taking us in and making us feel welcome.

Have stayed here three times in the past three years. Always impressively clean and neat. Very quiet. Front desk and housekeeping are the best I have ever dealt with at a hotel. The breakfast is absolutely amazing also! And plenty of it! Very impressed and will stay no where else but here!

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, courteous, and efficient. The breakfast and grill area were clean. Plenty of food options at and near the hotel. Covered parking was a bonus. I've paid a lot more at other places for a lot less! I would recommend this hotel and will be back.

Really nice, safe place to stay. The prices for seniors were excellent (about $ 60) for the night. The breakfast was better than expected. Hot entrees, pastries and fruit we're in ample supply. There was easy access to the interstate highway. Free parking and visible security people were great. We'll come back when in this area.

Great place to stay. Nice reception at check in. We got a free upgrade when we got there. Easy to get here from the interstate. Close to the north trolley route. Breakfast was great. Room was spacious with a great working space. Great for business and pleasure We'll stay here again. Price was wonderful and about $60 for the evening (senior rate).

This is an older hotel in Down Town Little Rock. It is a good value for the money they charge. The Hotel does have some age on it but is generally well maintained. Granted, I can see that they do need a little bit of a make over to bring it back to where it was just 3 years ago. I would stay there again. The bed is comfortable enough for me to get a good night sleep and that is my main concern outside of location.

Good location, kind of old several of the floors probably need to be remodeled there's no pictures hanging on the walls in the hallways where the rooms are. That would give it a lot of local Flair if they would put local photos up.

They give us a room with a small bed, doors slammed all night. Alarms went off at 3:00 am. We was able to sleep very little.

I had a very courteous and enjoyable stay at La Quinta Downtown Little Rock. So much so… I extended my stay for days. All of the staff members were great and I met a lot of super incredible vets. Many of whom greeted and adored my puppy, Dakota.

The deal is very good, the facilities leave much to be desired.

Wonderful staff! Rooms are Great! Parking is ample and easy to access. Wi-Fi is free. If I'm ever in Little Rock again, I'll definitely come back here!

Dreadful place! Front desk at 10 pm on August 25th made me feel that I was an annoyance rather than a guest. No info offered as to location of room, how to get there, where to park or how to access parking garage (with room key). In room no guest services book to direct guests to ice machines, water bottle dispensers (cold water in room Is lukewarm), fitness center, etc. We missed 10 am breakfast in the morning because we didn't arrive until 9:50, having overslept due to driving for 15 hours the day before. They had already begun to pick up the breakfast foods. However, they did comp us for breakfast which was much appreciated.

It's the middle of the night and I wake up to use the bathroom and the door is LOCKED. It's just me in the room which means somehow when it closed the door jammed and I'm completely locked out. Take note — there are no phones in the rooms! The only number goes to a corporate line (which in itself is a red flag — if a company sends you directly to corporate it's because they know they mess up a lot so they figure if they put people on hold long enough they'll eventually give up). THREE CALLS and THIRTY MINUTES LATER someone finally comes to fix the door, and of course they need to run back and forth to get tools. So it's now 1AM, they can't completely fix the door, and my options are to change rooms in the middle of the night or don't close the bathroom door again. SERIOUSLY!? Here's the kicker — 2 calls in I'm obviously annoyed because it's been 20 minutes, nobody is here yet, this is completely ridiculous and I NEED TO USE THE BATHROOM. I finally reach someone at the front desk and of course get mad because at this point I'm half asleep and miserable — so he yells and HANGS UP ON ME! I don't care what's going on, if you're in customer service it's your job to help people and calm them down, not make it worse! He was acting like an entitled baby and should never be allowed to work with people ever again. The worst part is, the room reeked of smoke but I was so tired from a long drive I didn't feel like making a big deal about it and just wanted to sleep.

I must say I was skeptical after the reviews I read, but after 13hrs of travel I was exhausted. Upon arrival lobby clean front desk nice, checked in room 1111 and the water in shower Don't drain immediately called maintenance never came. Dosed off to wake up to something crawling across my arm, went to management and they switched my room, but after that I was done this place needs an overhaul on the hallways and rooms. Carpets stains and the smell is awful. I will never Stay her again even if it's free!. Honestly wouldn't added a star but I couldn't post this without it.

We stayed here in October 2016, to attend a concert at Verizon Arena. Neither of us had ever been to Arkansas and, we werent sure what to do with our time, aside from attending the concert. This was by far one of the best hotel experiences that either of us have had. The staff is absolutely amazing. Each and every one was friendly, generous and attentive. The shuttle drivers (all of them) were extremely punctual and even suggested several attractions, shops and restaurants that we might enjoy. Shuttle service is free within a few miles of the hotel's location and, to and from the airport! Clean room. Comfortable bed and overall atmosphere. Great selections for continental breakfast. We are planning another trip to Little Rock just so we can stay here, again!

La Quinta Inn in Little Rock Arkansas. Very friendly workers here. Here are many restaurants like wendys taco bell mcdonalds, and one that is called rallies this best.

Rooms are run down. Bathroom is nasty. Room smelled like weed and I told the front desk. The front desk was absolutely worthless. The front desk clerk looked and acted like he was the one smoking the weed. Dont waste your money here. Place sucks.

When we checked in the room hadn't been cleaned. The beds weren't made or changed. Trash was still all over. Cigarettes were in the ash tray. We didn't end up staying. Terrible experience. Only good thing, was the lady at the front desk (late night shift). She was kind and apologetic. Very nice lady and helpful.

We got a roomnon the 6th floor. It was a nice room. Equipt with a fridge and microwave. We had a vew of the parking garage but some of the city scape sobit was nice. The pool was great. The beds were comfortable. Staff was curtious. They had a razor and shaving cream for my husband free of charge. The breakdast was great. Eggs, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, sausage and buscuits and gravy, yogart, packaged muffins, toast and bagels. Breakfast was until 10am which is nice and later than other places and the pools open daily until 11pm. Overall its been nice stay for a reasonable price to stay in downtown Little Rock.

Room was not clean trash was left in our room when we arrived. Lots of dope smoking going on inside the hotel during all hours mentioned it to the staff and they said at least someone is enjoying it! Nice Several homeless folks roaming the hallways all times of the day and night knocking on the doors wanting in. Cannot enjoy sitting outside without being hounded for cigarettes or money… Room keys don't work majority of the time and don't expect your room to cleaned the next morning… Bring your own towels they do not replenish!

Clean, reasonably priced. Great breakfast. Shuttle service to River Market for night life. Not fancy, but a great place to stay.

Prime location. 24 hour shuttle to wherever you'd like to go downtown. Check out not until noon. Free continental breakfast. Quiet rooms. Large bathrooms. Free cable and Wi-Fi. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Works for me. My dog stays for free, nice, large room, 24 hour free shuttle within 2 miles, $1 trolley in the main central area of downtown LR, decent breakfast, free coffee, friendly staff. The only downside is that it does not seem to be the safest place to walk after dark. The good news is that the LQ 24 hour shuttle will take you to and from destinations in absolute safety, so no worries. Great job.

The stench was horrendous. It smelt like weed and tobacco. I'd rathar sleep out on the street. The floors are disgusting and is gross to walk on barefoot. The bathroom was not pleasing at all. The outlets do not work. Coffee machine doesn't work. My shower did not work along with the toilet. Definently do not reccomend this place.

The stench of tobacco smoke in the room was masked by the overwhelming cloud of skunk weed in the hall, also making it difficult to see from one end to the other. Good for my 2 cats that LQ is "pet friendly" except for the 100 dogs in other rooms for the dog show. Barking was almost drowned out by the subwoofers on cars cruising Broadway. Parking requires two separate elevators to get to your car. Avoid. I was too afraid to check my ac vents (see other review).

Once we got to our room we noticed the air conditioning vent was filled with mold. I went to the front desk, and they accompanied me to another room — which also had mold in the ac vents. We then went to yet another room which also had mold in the vents. I told them that I wouldn't be staying at the hotel. The front desk staff was very nice about the whole thing, and said they were embarrassed the rooms were in that state. Mold is a health hazard — and I have zero tolerance for it. Check your ac vents!

Pretty great experience. I felt comfortable and safe. Breakfast was great. Wifi doesnt work very good.

I spent 5 night at La Quinta at a recent Conference visit to Little Rock in May 2015. The Conference was held a few blocks away at the DoubleTree, but I wanted to save some money and stayed at the La Quinta. While I did in fact save, it cost me in terms of comfort and inconvenience of having to walk a half mile twice a day (sometimes in the rain while wearing semi-formal conference attire). The room was decent size, but not clean. Capet was obviously not well cleaned, and there was black mold in several places of the bathroom tub surround. There was no ventilation or bathroom fan, so it stayed very humid in the room, and thus moist clothing from working out or just warm weather did not dry out — even after hanging for several days — I had to cave and utilize the hotel laundry. The service was good, staff was always friendly and helpful. The workout room is a joke. A couple ellipticals, a sit-up mat, and a since small weight machine with limited functionality. Not nearly up to my needs and expectations. The complementary breakfast was better than some "value" hotels I've been to, but certainly not above the average. The location is okay, about 3/4 mile from the Riverwalk, and a mile from the better restaurants and other sites. Overall, I would not recommend the La Quinta in Little Rock, primarily due to the lack of cleanliness of the room, and lack of compelling value.

Better than sleeping out on the street. At first glance seemed to be an okay place. But the parking garage is dangerous, the staff were more committed to their own personal conversations than helping guests. The rooms were piss poor. The phone didn't work and when going to the lobby from the 7th floor several times, we never did get someone to fix it, aka no ordering out, no local calls, and no wake up service. The lamps didn't work and many of the outlets were so lose it wouldn't hold a power cord. We had to ask for towels and toiletries which took forever again because of personal conversation being more important. No fridge or basic things you would come to expect as standard for a room and location. Beds were small, but clean. Had better experiences at a Motel 6 We will not stay here again.

The rooms are nice. The staff was great. Had one problem with my room on the 6th. Water temperature wasn't hot but Jenn at the front desk addressed the issue and changed my room. Second room perfect. Good customer service.

We stayed here after being stuck during an ice storm. Wonderful service. The room was clean and had no issues. Would recommend to somebody.

This La quinta is not like other la quintas. The stay was just ok. Upon checking in, it took an hour for them to put my information in mainly because the two employees behind the desk were chatting on the phone. Never recognized Elite status. Room was clean but older and rug wasn't the cleanest. Breakfast was unavailable due to employees not present due to the weather. I think this hotel is fine but not as good as other La Quintas.

The rooms are decent, but the house keeping is less than great. I found that my room wasn't as clean as I would have liked; they seem to do more tidying than actual cleaning. They have a complimentary 24-hour shuttle, which is so helpful, but the front desk staff are HORRIBLE! Never have I ever encountered staff that are more rude, unhelpful, and flat out bad at their job. They give you attitude, don't greet you when you come in the hotel, and ignore you when you are at the desk if they are in the middle of something. Last time I checked, a simple, "I'll be right with you, " goes a long way. Stay at the Marriott and pay a little extra.

The hotel is pretty good — it's a little run down but still perfectly serviceable. We were just looking for a place to spend the night, and this worked for the price. If you want something in downtown Little Rock, this should fit the bill if you don't need a lot of luxury. Parking is pretty easy, too. Clean and secure.

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Nashville using Priceline. It was comfortable and clean. The facilities were dated, and as other reviews said the A/C unit in the room is a little loud, but it was worth what we paid to stay there for the night. Again, it was clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was decent (can't be picky though). Employees are a little unprofessional but still nice. I would stay there again if for a short stay.
