Reviews of Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino 3*
We traveled to Vegas with our infant. We were given a room (non smoking) that smelled like smoking sooo bad they should really reclassify it as a smoking room — it smelled so bad, and there was vomit on the curtain… we were upgraded to a different room with a patio. This room over all was 100% better however the bathroom ceiling was covered in black mold spots the size of quarters — some bigger. The grounds are also covered in cockroaches so we didn’t get a chance to use the patio.
We have been going to Silver Sevens for years. We love our host (Yolanda). Goes out of her way to accommodate us. Love the patio rooms, 10 feet from the pool. Our rooms are always clean. Can't beat the comps. We have had very good service in the cafe. Gambling is as good as anyone else, if not better! We come back to Vegas every year and we could stay anywhere but we always come back to Silver Sevens!
There are still cheap but nice casinos around close to the strip… They redid the café not as cheap as it used to be but not exorbitantly expensive either.
No complimentary breakfast, the housekeeping doesn’t do daily room tidying/cleaning therefore can’t get fresh towels/linens. Also walking from the front door to the front desk u smell smoke cause they allow people to smoke since it’s a casino.
Stinks and disgusting. They renovated the restaurant upstairs to make it all pretty and new but the food is NOT great at all. They changed the menu and increased the prices. All food we ate was salty. The Manager was 👎 no help at all. My family came over here before too and they said it was not as good as before (prior covid). We all used to come here for dinner celebrations but we'll definitely NOT come back here again.
Great place 2 visit. Drinks good. Good food.
Good food, great workers, the pool area is awesome and so are the rooms!
Nice rooms! Easy parking, great location, convenient!
Very nice and quiet rooms.
Wouldn't go here unless you want the staff to " beat your ass and pull your hair out" this coming from the security while "checking IDs" before you can even enter the casino. My sister rented a couple rooms and those were nice but the staff definitely might jump you, at least the staff at night. They said there were no managers on duty so couldn't resolve the situation, each staff member just made it worse and worse. Got her money back and bounced before we got jumped. She recorded all of it, might find it on the Random Vegas FB group later because it was just so freaking crazy.
Very nice service, very friendly staff, and very quiet.
Pretty nice hotel. Some tourists were kind of noisy at times. I wish the bathroom was bigger. Please get rid of the weed smoke. Other than that, everything else was ok!
The rooms were nice except for the very low water pressure for showers. The location off the strip was nice not crowded. Gambling on tables was cheaper on the strip. Waitress staff served locals before anyone else, 1 place to eat, and the hotel was just dirty. Trash was left in the hallway for 2 days. It was a smoke free hotel and the hallway stunk of weed. I would not stay here again. I guess you get what you pay for… had 3 free night stay never again even if was free!
Nice room.
Friendly staff.
Good price, no resort fee
Overall a good experience.
Rooms are awful… only good thing is their pool. Better than the rooms.
Everything about this hotel is easy. Free parking, check-in, free coffee in the morning, walk from room to gift shop and casino. The staff is quite friendly. I’ve had a few wins at the casino and even won casino cash during a drawing. The cafe upstairs is good food and the staff very attentive. For the price and location it’s pretty good value.
I have stayed here quite a few times when I have visited Vegas. I like it's free easy parking, and check in is quick and easy. Every one is super nice. The rooms are great for the price. I know I will stay here again in the future.
Silver sevens casino had egregious ADA violations during my 1 night stay there, including inappropriate room assignments, excessive obstacles to my mobility scooter, damage to the scooter’s basket, denying a request for a shower chair, poorly trained staff, poor signage and preparation for elevators being out of service during construction, and failing to provide transportation to the airport after being told I could take the shuttle resulting in over 30 minutes delay. Furthermore, staff were snippy or downright rude and made the situation worse.
Very nice! Bartenders are very nice and attentive.
Fun times. Great drinks fun slots.
Generous slots and nice ground level rooms with patios.
Great drinks great prices.
This is the worst experience I have ever had the place has gone down hill over the last 2years. Games are so rigged you can't even have fun. And rooms are dirty. Even the halls are dirty. Have stayed here many years but this is the last and will blast nothing but bad about the place now food is nasty just done wasting money in this place.
I've stayed here on five separate occasions. It's a no-frills, store your stuff while you explore Vega, hotel. The staff has always treated me well and the restaurant/cafe is always good. Its a solid spot to stay. The rates are reasonable and the rooms are clean. Let's face it, how much time do you spend in your room?
Everything the staff is wonderful and the shuttle guy Dave took us on a tour of the casino and carried out bags as soon as we got there food in restaurant was good and hearty and cheap$
The hotel was old and smelled of pot. The room we had for a week needed updated and repaired. I talked to lady at front desk about the issue and she said oh well. Price of room sounds good until you add entertainment tax. Slots are old and I didn’t see anyone winning … one positive was the restaurant where breakfast was excellent. Gift shop prices were inflated! DO NOT STAY HERE!
For the most part the staff was friendly except some of the ppl who in the cafeteria and they need to come together when it comes to discounts everyone is not on the same page.
I go to a lot of places but I tell you I win more here than any where in Vegas. They are the friendliest group of people. I get free play free dinners. I just think that other casinos should learn something from the customer service that they have.
Friendly Atmosphere and staff.
Very reasonanle prices for gambling food and alcohol.
No frills Casino like old Vegas it’s dated and small. The rooms had some stink and shower tub needed replacement but overall comfy enough be a last resort stay overall.
Dirty room, nasty bathroom and all the hallways smelled like cheap cologne and b. O. On the plus side the staff was super friendly.
NEVER GO HERE!
I have a doctors note saying that it seems my bumps are consistent w BED BUGS and they gave me back $29 for the resort fee. That’s all. They said nope there’s no problems here and the manager Cole even said I don’t know why you’re calling two days after you left.
Well Cole, the bites don’t always affect every person the same and it doesn’t always show up at the time of being. I booked this hotel through Expedia and they offered me $25 for compensation. Lmao
…I’m literally itching still to the point where I’m bleeding.
Next stop, Board of Health. Disgusting. Do not ever stay in this hotel!
Please share the word — do not stay here if you go to Vegas!
Free parking, Great food 1 of my favorites is the salmon before 1100 pm friendly staffing decent drinks and GRT winning chances!
Never have I ever felt so secure with a motel. Cole the manager goes above and beyond for his customers. This guy deserves more than just a pat on the back. Thank you Cole. You’re truly a pure and honest human. If I had a million dollars it wouldn’t come close to what you did for us here in Boise. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Stopped here at like 1am starving after a day of flying. The burger is on point! So good! What a pleasant surprise and hidden gem… the bar tender on main floor over to the side was less than pleasant. Rude really. Spent the whole time telling us to hurry up he wants to close really. It's saturday night, calm down.
Rooms are clean and decently priced. We had a cheapish room, but it was really tucked away in the back. The casino area was kind of small compared to spots on the strip, but it's still a good time. The pool area is nice to hang out and chill by. The staff was also nice.
Although the place needs some make over, it's definitely a good local hotel and casino to stay and enjoy. There was a band playing when I was here. Not really exceptional but quite entertaining. The hotel is prefect for both locals and visitors since it's worth every dollar on spent on it. Hopefully, I'll get to visit it again.
My mother and I spent a nice afternoon gambling at the Silver Sevens. The casino is fairly large and includes several new games along with all the old favorites. The casino was clean, the cocktails arrived fairly regularly, and the music being played was pleasant. I think if we had won something I would be writing a better review. I'd still recommend the Silver Sevens to anyone looking for a decent place to gamble.
It's a nice hotel. Free parking. A small cozy pool inside. Casino vending machines. Buffet. It's all there. Not far from the center. 25 mins. And at a reasonable price. Breakfast $13 buffet in the buffet. As in the canteen) … regular food, no special dishes.
Always stay here when I have something in town that is going to keep me busy, that isn't the typical Vegas experience. A bit of a walk from the strip, 1.5 miles or so. Very fairly priced rooms, a buffet, cafe, decent sized pool and jacuzzi, convenience store, and a moderate sized game floor. Great if you don't plan on exploring much by foot and easy to find all you need on site. The dining options are OK, and priced decent. I'd avoid the buffet on Fri-Sat, $18 pricing not worth it. But any other day sure. Black Jack Tables seem a bit more lucky for the house here, dunno how many people I saw angry at them over my last 5 day stay, sat down and understood why… Plan to visit again in the future.
Very clean and comfortable although the Deco is Rococo… Nothing fancy, I think the hotel is simply at the level of the expected standard in Las Vegas! One can note however that there is a welcome pool to disconnect from the madness of Sin City!
Rooms are nice for the price. The overall feel of the place is vintage Vegas. Don't play blackjack here though, this is the only place I lost money. The auto shufflers seem shady. The hold'em game is great though. It's 2-4 limit so you can sit and toss chips around drinking for free. Lots of locals come through so make sure you are at least competent at poker. The rules are more relaxed as well. My wife sat behind me and drank all night for free as well.
Front Desk is good. Security is bored to the point of harassing anyone in the lobby not shoving money up their rectums. Your casino is aged. Rooms are above average and the prices are low, presuming you have the $100 per night security deposit. Ownership needs to either invest in its people and infrastructure or exit the casino business. Virgin is now across the street… (who cares you ask)? Radio Shack once responded that way to the Apple Store.
We haven't spent much time in the hotel rather than sleeping. Housekeeping were very friendly. The rooms are at a very reasonable price.
We just stayed for three nights and four days at silver sevens. The hotel itself was a great value and very clean. The rooms are up to date but the bathrooms are dated and the showers are terrible. They hit you right in the chest!
Big downside to the rooms is no fridge. However the beds are quite comfortable and the staff did a great job cleaning the room each day.
…
Our party included two toddler age children. At nine am on Sunday morning hotel security knocked on our door to say they had received complaints about the kids and that they could hear them in the hallway. Really?!?!? It’s nine am. It’s not seven am and they are toddlers — they can’t be expected to be silent. This was very frustrating considering having kids is part of travel and vacations. We didn’t feel the need to complain about the folks going in and out slamming their doors at all hours of the night — bc that’s part of vacations.
On a more positive note the pool was great as well. Very clean and super fun for the whole
Family. Staff at the cafe were amazing.
The Buffet is cheap, opens at 4 pm.
Silver sevens casino has an beautiful garden type pool area with Jacuzzi and bathrooms. They also have a great 2-4 limit poker game at night. The rooms on garden side are very large, my last room had view of pool. Next trip trying the tower. I played 5 hours of poker came out 60.00 ahead and also won 100.00 on reel slots. Sports book small but has great television area.
Can only rate the restaurant upstairs as that is the only place I go there. They have a deal on dinner with a player card — you have to get one at the cage, and then get a coupon in the Vegas 2 Go free entertainment books around town for a voucher for buy one dinner entree or buffet, get one free. $19.99 value. They have a prime rib dinner that rivals some of the best steakhouses around. Ask for Manny in the evening. They are open 24/7. Also have a killer burger with unlimited fries for $7.99.
Hotel very clean room great matlas comfortable the hallway it is a pool L breakfast OK and I have dinner self service meal OK I liked hotel restaurant pool.
The best part about Silver 7s is the building itself! It's gorgeous and huge with so many little areas, and much to offer for folks looking for an entertaining and relaxing Vegas experience! They have it all, even free drinks (non-alcoholic) while gambling. One thing I really liked were the free coupons for coffee and either a beer or house margarita. The restaurant food was delicious, but it can take a moment to get your food since it is made fresh. If you want a quick bite definitely try the buffet! The prime rib and mashed potatoes were my favorite. I also bought tons of snacks and drinks at their gift shop too! The mini shots are priced at 3 bucks and a wine bottle at about 10. The staff upstairs were so friendly and opened my wine bottle for me. I want to come back and spend more time at the pool next time! Oh did I mention the free shuttle to and from the airport? This place is deals on deals on deals!
There is a warm welcome. I love this place.
A very cheap hotel. But they removed their buffet which was rich and economic. And they don't respect your special orders in your room.
Casino Chico does not charge parking the buffet is not very varied but it is very cheap the waiters very friendly and almost all speak Spanish.
For those who seek tranquility is the perfect place. He's asking absolutely nothing from the best casinos in Vegas.
This is a good old-fashioned kind of Vegas casino hotel, with very reasonable food prices and extremely friendly, attentive staff. I really felt they wanted my stay to be pleasant. There's a resort fee, but it's low compared to Strip properties. I didn't try the pool because it was too cool, but it's entirely enclosed in a pleasant courtyard that was sheltered enough that several people were tanning there despite the temperature. I never did locate the "health club" so I can't comment on it. When it comes to cigarette smoke, the gaming floor is pretty much what you'd expect, but their non-smoking rooms are absolutely smoke-free. I've stayed in older hotels before where smoke-free rooms had been added, and it was easy to tell that they had formerly not been that. At Silver Sevens, the non-smoking rooms had either always been non-smoking, or were very thoroughly redecorated at some point. This is very clearly an older property and could use some updating. My room was very large, and sparsely furnished for its size, but the bathroom was tiny and needed maintenance work, and the AC/heat controls were confusing. The room is the reason this is getting 3 stars, but not for the reasons above. As far as I was concerned, it was just a place to sleep — — and that was the problem. I was usually out until very late, and often wouldn't get back to my room until the small hours of the morning. I really, really wanted to sleep in. This was, unfortunately, impossible.
The hotel was exactly what I expected. Not wanting crowds or to spend a fortune, it was a deal. I prefer outside access to smoke, patio room a great option, definitely worth a slight upcharge. Room was clean and updated except shower, toilet room. Could use a face lift with shower heads above the face. I'm 5'5, husband 6'4 I had to duck he showered the walls. Lots of hot water! House keeping FYI upgrade to the works cleaner would clean up mildew and rust stains real quick. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, front desk — casino — bar — both restaurant's and house keeping everyone ready to help and pleasant. Pool area very nice just cold this time of year.
The hotel is fine for this price everything nice clean a star deduction for the bathroom but otherwise everything OK and as usual in Las Vegas many lucky slot machines and you are not far from the trip away.
As a local who wakes up early in the morning during the week, so inherently wakes up early on the weekends, my family and I like to go to good priced local casinos on the weekends. We ate breakfast at the Silver Sevens and it was quite good. At least good enough for us to declare that we would be making this a regular Saturday morning restaurant to have our family breakfasts. Although, that will no longer be the case since they felt the need to have security constantly checking up on my husband, even when he went to the restroom. My husband is tall, bearded, with a large build, and can look intimidating but he was with his wife and our toddler and carrying around our kid's superhero backpack so, just how threatening can he come across laughing and giggling and trying to get a toddler to eat parfait? Sorry to say that that part of our experience has completely tainted our view of the hotel and casino and we will not be returning. It's really a shame because the service was good, security was helpful to me (when I was without my husband), and the food was very good. I just won't abide by discrimination. I'm begrudgingly giving it 2 stars cause the food was good.
It's a clean place but the smell of cigar is huge. It is not one of the best casinos but for the price you grab what you pagagas.
Love this place! Great comps, super friendly staff (especially Sergio, Phil, Vince… actually ALL your bartenders and Candi in the cash cage)! Buffet and restaurant are affordable with great quality food and friendly staff. The rooms are clean and are inexpensive. All in all, Silver Sevens is a great place to go!
Hotel without praise and without infamy for what I paid okay.
We had some drawbacks that were solved. Good buffet in the restaurant.
Initially our room was under an area of the hotel that had a light bit of construction starting around 9am. We told the manager and he was extremely kind to remedy the situation. Cool little unassuming resort. Cheap beer in the gift shop. Free drink coupons on check in. Nice pool but apparently not heated on a cold day. Also hot tub. Bar servers are a little slow.
We wanted a pet friendly room off the strip for 6 days so we made reservations here. One night was enough. The "Pet Room" was very smelly and the entire place was filled with cigarette smoke. The pillows we're very firm so I called the front desk and requested a smaller, softer pillow. About twenty minutes later a very well mannered employee arrived with another hard pillow and said that's the only pillows they have. He had 3 other employees standing behind him. Wow I was surprised at his "back up" but I thanked him anyway and the next morning I made reservations at The Red Roof Inn. I must say the front desk employees were very friendly and understanding about our change in plans.
Dirty. A lot of noise. Bad attention.
I'm just going to lose my dollars in the Makinas of Jogar.
I had booked a room with a king bed but were given a double bed room and it did not fit at all to the images on the site. It was old-fashioned. After reclamation we changed rooms the next day and this one was much better. Very spacious, clean, etc.
The hotel is well located in relation to the strip. You can get there by foot or take the bus. The stop is right in front of the hotel.
Reasonable priced rooms, amazing pool with many rooms having direct patio access. I usually stay at Hard Rock but this was more intimate and had plenty of gambling and a lot less walking. I would recommend the restaurant over the buffet however having tried both. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Vegas!
It's not the worst hotel I've stayed at, but it's pretty far down there. At first it wasn't too bad. Rooms kind of clean, smelled like smoke, casino and outside were pretty cool. Staff was friendly. Our air didn't work the second day and the guy fixed it pretty quick. Got woken up to a loud alarm yesterday morning. Today, the air feels like it's not working again. Pretty sure there's workers right above our room. Not sure what they're working on but we can hear every footstep. Will NOT ever stay here again.
Fuia to the buffet, which was very good before and this time I am disappointed. Not much variety of food. But the staff very friendly.
My boyfriend and I ate at breakfast at the cafe. Great local spot with local deals. If you have a player's card, you can get the "deuces wild" special. It comes with two eggs two bacon or two sausages and two pancakes for 3.99. The service is great. Nice servers and they don't ignore you. For tourists, its still close to the strip. Not even a 5 minute drive. The cafe is open 24 hrs.
Best comps, best priced buffet, friendliest staff, best location in Vegas, free parking, easy to get to the rooms, easy walk to fast food places and the Dollar Tree on Flamingo Street. Free coupons for drinks and coffee at check in also. Best hotel in Vegas by far. Very clean and nice beds to. Stayed there twice in 45 days (just returned on Jan 20) and I fly from North Carolina to stay there. If Silver Sevens will give me some discounted airfare I'll go back in April. I'll even give them free advertising on my popular real estate site that features Vegas, Hothomemarkets. Com. I refer all of my clients to Silver 7's because I want them to have a real Vegas experience. And I know Vegas inside out and every road and street. And I've also been inside every hotel in town and Silver 7's is just as nice as most of the strip hotels without the high prices.
The rooms were really clean and comfortable. We stayed in a room overlooking the pool. Be warned that they will hole $100 extra as a deposit of sorts. The shop is expected a little overpriced but convenient. The check in clerks were fast and friendly. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would definitely book again!
I found a good hotel with good facilities and very cozy, the problem is that they charge too much and for everything.
Dont stay here. I stayed here on a road trip to Colorado and my car got broken into at 10:45AM… In broad daylight. Security said they do rounds at 7am everyday and that my car was fine at that time and that they weren't aware of the incident. Isn't that security's job? They should have someone in the lot at all times if things like this happen. I got $1500 worth of stuff stolen along with a broken car window and they didn't care at all (or even offer to comp my stay). They also told me later on that their cameras didn't get good enough shots of the guys who took my stuff to do anything. I parked in an area where there were lots of cars and found all this extremely disappointing. Moral of the story, I will NEVER stay here again and if your on a road trip with items in your car you shouldn't either. Even though the parking lot looks safe and like it would be patrolled IT'S NOT!
Good buffet… it is delicious but not a huge variety or options as many of the other local buffet spots… however … I can use my players card and a 2for1 Buffett coupon and two of eat a great breakfast for under 8.00 I think lunch is around 10.00… I haven't stayed at the hotel yet so I can't comment there… but the staff is professional and humanly friendly and personable… Large parking lot… Clean facilities… Lots of locals… Which I think is probably better with odds of winning a little.
The overall experience was good. The hotel has good quality for the price and the breakfast buffet is just $10, 99. There are a few nice restaurants nearby. As well. The only downside is the location. If you don't have a car it's a bit inconvenient to go to the strip because you can take Uber at certain spots only.
Had a great stay, room and bed was great, wish it had a keurig maker and refrigerator. The staff was friendly, first night we did have buffet the food was okay. The breakfast was very good at silver spoons, they also give you free coffee coupons for the gift shop, the coffee was excellent which help with no coffee maker in room. The cleaning staff was friendly okay didn’t always replace towels or give enough. I also appreciate that they offer free shuttle service to and from the airport. Will definitely consider staying there and recommend it to others.
It's a buetn place to play and Dibertse.
The rooms are comfortable and with direct access to the pool. The casino is not too crowded and offers many stations to play.
This was near my Off the Strip Hotel on a business trip. I really should have just gone to the strip. It was dated and dirty and possibly the smokiest casino in Vegas. And I'm not usually bothered by the smoke. The only upside was it the staff was very friendly and attentive especially the waitresses in the gaming area.
Silver Sevens staff is wonderful! After a long trip with delays, my husband and I had missed the last shuttle by 5 minutes. I called the hotel, and Malcolm (manager) was able to work with the shuttle drivers to come out to pick us up. Special thanks to Roger for going above and beyond to pick us up, even after his shift was over. When we arrived at the hotel, the outstanding service continued. Shannon was warm and friendly, and was such a delightful person to work with. My husband and I both work in industries with service components, and it was clear to both of us that the staff here is proud of doing good work, is well trained and supported, and takes pride in outstanding customer service. We come to Vegas as a launching point for outdoor adventure and national parks travel. The rooms are clean and well appointed, and our experience with the staff has solidified that silver sevens will be our go-to place for starting our adventures when we fly in to Las Vegas.
Great place to stay and play. Rooms are clean, everyone who works at Silver Sevens is very nice. The machines are pretty loose, restaurant and buffet are good. I had a great time during my 6 day stay and will definitely be back!
The Casino has been upgraded. The hotel room was very clean, upgraded rooms comfortable beds, decor was beautiful. The staff were all very friendly. Security ever where, and I'm surprised on security on a bike, checking on the outside. All staff from front desk, security, to the staff working on the casino floor, to the restaurant, buffets, maid service, and the gift shop had wonderful guest services. Thumbs up and complementary shuttle service. Thank you Silver Seven for making my stay comfortable. I definitely will stay here again.
Very friendly staff, nice and clean room for a very affordable price. We got a bunch of free coffee coupons that we could use in their 24h open gift shop, very awesome. Friendly dealers, $5 Blackjack and Roulette tables and pretty good location. Not too far from the strip.
Customer service was excellent! Loved the buffet food! It was hot and fresh! Rooms were satisfactory and clean. Only downside was the Wi-Fi being slow. We will definitely return!
Reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly, right from the front desk, to the gift shop, to the dining area. Pool was great. Not overcrowded and or loud (music). The patio room was the best… you were able to sit outside and enjoy your coffee, etc. Would definitely stay there again.
Hotel clean, Supebe swimming pool, spacious room but no fridge and you can still hear the planes passing over.
Hotel Casino in Las Vegas unfortunately too far from the center.
Impeccable room and hotel very well place.
Check-in was a breeze! Shannon was wonderful! We ended up getting to town a day earlier, and they were very accommodating! Our room was clean, and the cleaning staff was wonderful each day! The pool was nice, and just what we needed for the days we actually were able to relax! The hotel isn't too far from the strip, we were able to walk. The hotel security made rounds inside, and out for added safety and security. Which was nice! I highly recommend the restaurants, located above the casino! The food was AMAZING! We had the buffet on night one, and breakfast and dinner the other days at the Sterling Spoon cafe, the cheeseburger with bottomless fries and prime rib were phenomenal! Our waitress, Cheryl, was such a sweetheart! The only downfall I could find, is if you're a light sleeper, the rooms aren't the most soundproof… the windows are older, and fairly thin, as are the walls. I could occasionally hear the people in the room next to us talking, and could also hear the planes and cars coming and going outside. This place is worth the visit!
Like the rest of Vegas, everything smells of smoke. Rooms aren't too bad… clean enough. The a/c occasionally blew out hot air in the middle of July and the toilet required lots of handle-jiggling to stop it from running. And the resort fee is absurdly high. Decent location about a mile off the strip. Overall, fine, but not one I'd feel a need to return to.
Room was clean and the front desk staff were exceptionally polite. The casino was small but still had plenty of games to play. We received multiple coupons for staying the night. We ate at the diner (sterling spoon). Would have been better off going to McDonald's. The wait staff were very slow and and the food mediocre. We waited 10 minutes just to put in an order for drinks and waited an additional 10 minutes to get those drinks. Besides the restaurant my only other issue was there wasn't a refrigerator in the room. When I visit Vegas I will consider staying here again. It was a great price and they have shuttles to the strip.
Used their indoor remote airport parking for eight days. The parking cost less than $60 which is a lot cheaper than the airport long term which is not covered. Shuttle runs on the hour with the last run being at 9pm and arrives at the airport shuttle stop at 9:20pm. We stayed the night after our trip. The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor was well done and reminded me of a earlier time in Vegas.
The WORST thing was I was unable to use my coupon for a free beer or margarita. Because I am diabetic and cannot have sugar, I requested a soda and tequila instead (cheaper than a margarita). I was shocked and dismayed when the bartender refused to substitute soda water (which they give away) for margarita mix. It may seem a small thing, but I felt very belittled that as a guest of their hotel they cdnt do something so small for me. If you make ME feel small, I think very little of you as a service provider. This is not how a business builds relationships — and relationships build businesses.
Close to the city center, nice rooms, however too close to the airport.
Not the best, maybe not the worst either. Rates a bit high, some casinos hotels next to much better quality for a few extra dollars.
Still havent got my $100 deposit back when I stayed 6months ago. Called every other day for 2 months finally just gave up but i'll never stay there again. Hate gambling there also… I never win anything when I go there.
Everything is perfect the room is very spacious the staff is welcoming the pool is nice. What is not worth the 5 stars is the passage of planes that can disturb.
Formerly a Terribles hotel, this hotel is undergoing some minor room renovations. I booked a room upgrade to enjoy a room with a patio by the pool. The wallpaper, carpet, decorations and bathroom were all renovated, more modern. Hotel is in the flight path so don't expect it to be quiet on the patio but the palm trees are peaceful. I didn't notice aircraft noise while in my room. Even with the resort fee tacked on this hotel is a very good value. It's not on the Strip but close. Airport shuttle. Great breakfast value, either buffet or table service. Snall casino with a sportsbook but it's all you need unless you're James Bond and you want to play Baccarat. No it's not fancy but a local favorite. Plenty of parking. Would recommend!
Had the $5.99 burger ($1 Xtra for cheese). I should have known from the start… we walked up to the hostess stand, which states "please wait here to be seated". We stood there for quite a while (no attendant at the stand), with the other employees walking around looking at us, yet no one was doing anything. Finally, a server from the buffet next door got frustrated by our being ignored, and took the initiative and seated us (it wasn't her job, different restaurant). We sat for another short while before our server came out to take our order. She was not the talkative type, barely answered any of our questions about the menu. Our food came, which was decent actually, and then our server ignored our table the rest of the night. My drink glass was empty, and server after server (including our own) just walked right on by, time after time after time. The other servers hang out in groups (3) off to the corner or in the middle of the restaurant, I guess they weren't interested in you know, serving. I had to nearly tackle some random employee walking by to get my drink refilled. Upon checking out, I informed the cashier (one of the previous 3 gagglers) who seemed shocked, and then proceeded to charge my card and act like nobody was saying anything. The stinging irony, is there is a sign on the counter saying how much they care about service and to contact a manager if the visit was not up to par.
Silver Sevens is my home away from home. I travel to Vegas several times a year for conferences and expos. Silver Sevens is convenient to the airport and the convention center. It's a locals' favorite with minimal frills, but I don't care much for premium toiletries or overzealous bellhops anyway. The staff are friendly and eager to please. The cafe has a number of tasty specialties. The casino is fairly smoky, but that's typical around here unless you're at the Wynn, Encore, or the Cosmopolitan. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Be aware of the $17-ish daily resort fee. It includes Wi-Fi and shuttle service, so it's not a total ripoff. Be sure to join the player's club for discounts and promotions!
One thing I do like about this casino is you can do the penny slots… I swear the jack black machine is rigged though the dealer got far too many black Jack's in a row to be realistic… Also didn't have a server come around once. The place is obviously lower class and more trashy but what do you look like expect it's not the Wynn. Even still I expected better.
We stopped in to have dinner after we had gone to a show. We have been here before, but this time it was horrible. Not that being said it was not the servers fault. Two other tables ordered before us and we were seated first. We had to ask for our dinner rolls. The food was very average at best. The clam chowder was awful. Then when talked to a manager he could have cared less. We live in Las Vegas, there are so many great places to eat we will not be back even again.
Had a selection of good food but most was fried and my wife did not like any part of lunch. I I liked the fried camarrones. And do not cost much. If fuer member of the casino would have been 8 dollars for lunch. It was 11 dollars for us.
We enjoyed the casino, the staff were friendly, helpful and accomadating they went out of their way to assist you the best way they could. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and easy to find. There was different restaurants to accommodate your taste buds, they had had a steak house, a Chinese restaurant, there was a restaurant that served breakfast all day. Room service was quick, cordial and brought all condiments that would be needed, they didn't have to run back forth to get them while your food sat getting cold and you losing your appetite. I enjoyed playing bingo, the slots and the pool. This was our first time staying here, as we were referred from friends that stated this is where they're always stayed seeing as how they lived in Las Vegas for years and moved when they retired a few years ago. I'm glad they shared one of their favorite places to stay. We had a blast on the slot machines and playing bingo. We will be making reservations very soon once again, thank you Joseph and Denise Robinson (from Utah)
The rooms are okay but the FEES and SERVICE are AWFUL. They have a list of multiple fee charges that add up to $200+ to stay for a week ON TOP of a $140 deposit plus another deposit that they keep and you STILL pay per night. Michael the accountant I had the pain of being DISRESPECTED when I politely and calmly called questioning Why I was CHARGED $85 A WEEK AFTER I CHECKED OUT. Do your self a favor and spend your money on a better hotel with better service and save your money from all the fees NOT WORTH IT.
What I do not like q me are charging $360 more I book and I took little more than half and today q chekie my account I have three collections of the hotel all the call and say q I in my State d account are not everything and I can't fix that badly is q If you give your card only should charge loq is.
Good service and good price. The food is really cheap, but also good. There are plenty of slot machines. A bit out of the way, which can be inconvenient, but it also makes for a quieter night's rest.
Great cocktail service… not always assert first but once they realise your not a free loader then drinks are prompt and waitresses are friendly… excluding a couple of the older ones. I actually won last night and went upstairs where I found Leno heaven! Everything from. 02 cent machines to dollar! They also had many types odd Keno (power, multi card, regular, caveman, Cleopatra, top bottom, and some other variations) variations. Streak dinner was only 6 bucks and biscuit and gravy was 2 we got bread hash browns eggs and a generous sized steak! Great night out and a much needed win after rent;) … server was very nice art dinner and we cashed it a night at 7am… will do it again!
Hotel room itself is a little outdated and could use a coat of paint. Breakfast was tasty, staff helpful, room price was good. Comfy bed to crash into after a night on the town.
Good casino if you don't like to be in the hustle and bustle gives the false society, a few blocks away from the strip. It is a small hotel with all the service and very few people at least when I host, very much at home with jacuzzi pool and the comfortable rooms, plus the very affordable prices. From here you can go walking to the strip or you can take the truck that passes across and drops you off at Caesars Palace.
Great place to go for luch every day they change the menu. I love the turkey with mashed potatoes. I totally recomemed it.
This is a lovely, welcoming place to stay… I stayed from Oct. 8th to Oct. 14th 2015… I was meeting up with some cyber friends for the first time, and this was a great place to be based… Room was basic, but very clean, with very fast free Wi-Fi, excellent air conditioning, CNN (my favourite TV Channel) and a very comfortable bed… I want very little more! … I describe it as a basic hotel made five star by the staff… I'm a wheelchair user, and every single member of staff were so helpful, and obliging… One staff member on Reception even tracked down a place where I could get a replacement charger for my wheelchair when mine died! … Security Officer Louis is a whole Welcoming Committee on his own… Polite, witty, and with a smile that would melt an iceberg… He's a keeper! … On a couple of occasions the customer elevator wasn't working, as it was undergoing a service… Security Officers would escort me in the Service/Staff Elevator… To access this, I was taken through the kitchen… It looked and smelled very clean… Not in a chemical way, but in a fresh, well aired way… I could see a delivery of fruit and vegetables… Very fresh, and of good quality… I was even happier to eat at the Sterling Spoon Cafe after that… I'm from Ireland, so I don't cope with heat very well… Staff on reception had a technician to my room within minutes to get the air conditioning to a comfortable level for me… I had it at 60 Degrees!
I was two weeks approximately, very nice hotel, clean and comfortable, is grateful for the kindness and el. Buen service Johali responsible for the pool in the afternoon el. Turno… a concern by the customer very good, with workers as it makes you want to go back…
I was two weeks in the hotel… It has good service and good location for exploring the vegas blv. The swimming pool is cozy! I especially liked the attention that was the bar tender johali! We made our stay very pleasant and weighed the heat of las vegas… many greetings for it :)
We enjoyed our multiple visits to silver sevens During our recent trip to vegas your waitress Cheryl was awesome! She was very attentive and extremely personable. She is a tremendous asset to your casino and a big reason why we will come back on our next trip. We think she is the best waitress in vegas! Thanks cheryl.
Es un Casino, no soy amante de eso. Pero buen servicio. Me quedé con un grupo de socios para un evento en el Thomas & Mack. Me gustó que tiene varios lugares cerca, por ejemplo P. F. Chang's.
I've stayed at this hotel 2 times already and I've always enjoyed my stay. The staff is great and every one of the employees helped make my visit great. The hotel is also very reasonable in price and it's not to far from the strip. The breakfast was yummy. Fresh fruit, graet omelet man and waffle girl. The room was nice, basic and spacious. I did not go to pool this visit but from my last stay I remember it being nice and not very busy which is nice.
I was just passing through on my way to California, and this was a great deal. My room was very clean and comfortable. Room service food was fast and delicious. If I stayed in Las Vegas again, I would stay here!
I stayed there for 8 nights, from 24th June to 1st july, my name is ALEXANDR DANILOV, it was room 3006, for two guests. I have checked out at 1st of July, and my deposit waste return, I paid 467 usd for room, and 100 usd from my credit card to deposit, which wasn't return!
This hotel is absolutely the worse hotel I have been to in a very long time. It is outdated and does not offer the simple things like Fridge or Iron. It is unbelievable the state of the rooms. I had two rooms and neither one was up to par. The rooms were not clean and had a weird odor. Not to mention on our last night we found an adult bed bug! There are many many many more hotels within this area with more updated rooms that are clean with plenty of luxuries like towels! Paying the extra $30 for those rooms is worth it for the peace of mind — free of bugs and germs. This hotel is not worth the money.
This is a corrupt casino. I would not recommend it to anyone. Tonight I was there playing Texas holdem. Your not supposed to smoke at the table but you can by the slots 5 feet from it. A guy at the table threatened me for smoking an electronic cigarette by the slots (where it's clearly allowed). The pit boss did nothing because he was a regular. Then, when I got up from the table a while later, I got about 10 feet from the table and turned to get my full beer that I bought and they had thrown it away. The casino told me sorry. I mentioned that I wanted it replaced. They said they would check on it. They then told me they couldn't. So I mentioned again how I was threatened by a guy at the table (which again everyone heard) and their answer was to kick me out of the casino. This particular person I know was also plaYing team poker on the table, which is highly illegal and he apparently is a regular there. So I guess that's why the casino let him be and did nothing over him threatening me. So if you are an honest person and you expect to be treated fairly, I would not recommend this casino. But if you like corrupt places then this might be for you.
Great food great value. Very clean rooms and great amenities, only a minute from the strip. The staff is wonderful, EVERYBODY is so helpful.
I stayed here march, 2015.3 nights. It wasnt too good but wasnt very bad. The biggest problem is the Loud Airplanes and they fly often. No refrigerator or microwave but they have the nerve to call it a resort and charge a resort fee. I dont think they even have a pool, sauna or exercise room. The parking is ok. The water pressure is bad in the shower. The air conditioning is good enough. Bed comfy enough. Bad selection of TV channels. The buffets are cheap but the service is bad. Every morning I had to keep begging for someone to bring coffee. The bus boy took pity on me and brought me coffee. I dont recommend this hotel casino.
I stayed at the hotel for 5 days/nights and left on Thursday morning. I had such a great stay — the staff was wonderful and so helpful and accommodating, rooms were clean, nice and had comfortable beds (and I wanted to keep the pillows — but didn't ;) The cleaning staff, service staff in the variety store, guest services counter, waitresses, security and casino floor cleaning staff were absolutely wonderful and I was lucky to have met you all! When I arrived I looked like a twisted pretzel because I had wrenched my back but with the beds and comfortable nights sleep it straightened out. The price was very reasonable and included parking, Wi-Fi, etc. The hotel is also right on the bus lines so when I wasn't using my car, the city was easily accessible. Nice house Chardonnay :) I'm not entirely sure what other people are complaining about — because of my slot play I was given a free bottle of wine; and enough cash for the dinner buffet with wine and $10 free slot play. The variety store has great coffee and I'll absolutely be staying with you again.
They give you nothing for all the money you play, a free bingo pack is only free if you don't have to buy 1 to get it, a free buffee the same thing, its not free if you have to pay anything. No free play, the kiosk is a joke. Now if you want to play in this dive go for it. I play less at other casinos and get free play without having to put in a dollar first, I get free food coupons and cash back. I will not waste my money or time in this dump. The rooms belong to the hookers or hispanic, they old and filthy.
Please do not stay at this hotel. I would love to share the experience that my wife and I had. On December 6, 2014 we went to Vegas to celebrate her birthday. It was a last minute trip and did not book a room in advance as we usually do. "Huge mistake". We searched online and saw that Silver Sevens Hotel and casino had vacancy and decided to pull in. Our first impression was that It looked very ran down, but we were so tired we decided to stay. The hotel desk service was so rude. They did not want to serve us and did not know anything about customer service. As we went to the room my mother inlaw and I went to the casino floor to gamble a bit and look around. As my wife was so tired she decided to stay in the room and get some sleep. Within 30 minutes of her sleeping someone came in and robbed her as she was sleeping. They stole her purse her wedding ring and wedding band. The scary factor is that he was only a few feet away. When she woke up she was so scared she contacted security right away. The security staff did not show and compassion or concerns of the incident they were rude and unprofessional. The guy got in from the back entrance due to the back door having a malfunction and that's how he got in. The priority of every Hotel is their guests safety. Obviously Silver Sevens hotel does not give a rats ass about anyone's safety here because the they don't care to check their doors. Silver Sevens Hotel is careless and unsafe hotel to stay.
The room was excellent, the price was excellent, ONLY about $50 BUCKS and it was the day before news years eve. The beds were like the beds at the Holiday Inn Express. Brand new everything big flat screen tv. Excellent choice. The buffet was good and cheap. Only $5.99 for breakfast. Some people commented on the buffet and said negative things about it. BUT if you want to spend $20.00 or more to eat the same stuff theb you are dumb.
The Silver Sevens must get its name because most patrons have silver hair and are over 70! :) The 'poker room' is right in the middle of the game floor on the main drag from the front door. Not good. The real reason I'm writing this review is the buffet. I have no idea why there are reviews saying the buffet is horrible. All of the food was very tasty. That, combined with the $10 price, makes this buffet outstanding. The Mexican bar was small but adequate. The roasted chicken breast was good. The brisket was also very good. I didn't make it to the salad bar, but it looked plentiful and fresh. The desert selection was great as was the quality.
Stay away. Casino dealers CHEAT at table games. Was there and literally witnessed the dealer throw the ball off the wheel while playing roulette. He then proceeded to switch the balls out and the pit boss came and retrieved the original ball. All while bets were still on the table! Of course, every single bet on that LOADED table of bets instantly lost. This is the worst and the most underhanded thing I have ever seen first hand in the casino. People go to REPUTABLE casinos on the strip or much better choices off the strip. This place is a dump. Period. And yes, the food will make you sick.
STAY AWAY! The worse buffet I have ever been to in my entire life! I am NOT saying that lightly! I would rather eat from a garbage can before eating here again! Second, it is the smallest buffet I have ever been to in my entire life (outside of the Sizzler). The food is awful! You have enchiladas without meat (they are called vegetable enchiladas). They taste of the food tastes like they use the cheapest ingredients! They rarely clear your plates from your table (I think there is actually a bus boy that does this, because I saw him come out once). The only thing good I liked about the entire buffet was the fried chicken and the pot stickers! I would NEVER eat here again. Even if it was for free.
