First off… IHG should have a crime rating for the hotels on the app. This place is straight up in the middle of the hood. I get checked in which I have to say was the fastest check-in that I have ever experienced at any hotel, but… I get to my room and the TV was on, dirty cloths on the floor and various garbage around the room… they did make the beds though… really odd. The second room they gave me was clean. This is not what I expected from Holiday Inn Express and is the first time I have ever had anything negative to say about my stay at one of them. Canceling my second night and finding something not as sketchy as this area. IHG you should consider dropping this one, it’s more of a Motel 6 type of area and the hotel itself is just as dated.

I normally give four stars to HI but a few things were too glaring to ignore. First the good. Rooms were clean and well appointed, helpful staff, elliptical and jogging machine, lots of parking, free breakfast. The two things that stood out negatively was no laundry (they said it was being upgraded) and that is something we depend on since we need to wash basketball jerseys every day during tournaments. I do not like to go to laundromats in challenging neighborhoods in unfamiliar cities. The other thing so easy to notice were filthy, stretched out, holey carpets in the hallway. I can bet u cash money that the carpets in the stairwells have never been shampooed as they were black with dirt. I can usually depend on HI for a basic room at a good price. I got the good price (points stay) but this was below par even for HI.

We stay at Holiday Inn Express all the time and this was the worst one we ever been at. We arrived at the hotel at around 6:30pm or 7:00 and the doors were locked to get in. We had already reserved and paid for the room so we waited. We picked up the phone outside which is for to use if doors are locked which calls hotel. No one came to open door for 20 minutes. Be the way it was 110 degrees outside. Finally after getting in, the front desk clerk didn't even apologize. We then took our luggage up to the room to only find out the keys do not work. Had to go downstairs again. The hotel was hot. The room seemed cool at first then got hot. The toilet didn't flush right. The only thing was the beds were comfortable.

I had a great night sleep. Very quiet location. And friendly staff. SIR did a great job checking us in. Hot tub was just what I needed after a long weekend. Breakfast had sausage, egg, bacon and biscuits and gravy. Cereal, muffins, cinnabon and more. The beds were amazing. Worth staying here. You wont regret it.

Super clean hotel just minutes from Nellis AFB. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Amenities include a pool, hot tub, and a small fitness room with aerobic machines. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because of the worn carpet and the stained chair in the room.

This is a great hotel. Very clean with friendly staff. The room has a full bathroom and a small kitchenette with a microwave, sink, and small refrigerator. It feels well kept up and the bedding and pillows are extremely comfortable. The only minor drawback is that it's in a questionable area without much to do in the immediate area. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

I loved it was the best place I have ever been the breakfast was awesome. Also the pool was awesome it felt good. Thank you for the best vacation ever it was so so awesome and the view was awesome so come on your vacation and stay in Holiday Inn Express. I loved it so so so much. Security gaurd, good breakfast, very comfortable beds (they just changed their mattresses). It's convenient if you're heading east out of town but 100% too far from the strip if you actually want to spend your time in Vegas.

The location was okay, it wasn't too far away from the city. The hotel was reasonably priced. The breakfast was good. Service was great!

Hotel in need of some upgrades and housekeeping could be better. I expected better from a hotel charging prices similar to the big casinos on the strip. There were people staying there for a soccer tournament and the people in the room above mine must have been practicing in their room. Kept me up all night. At times I thought they were going to fall through the ceiling. And the people next to me were smoking in a smoke free hotel and the smell was coming into my room.

Clean rooms. No maintenance on staff though. Only option is to wait it out or move rooms… had issue with refrigerator after unpacking everything. I would have swaped out the refridgerator myself if they would have let me. Easier than repacking and then unpacking.

Clean space and courteous staff. The jet noises from the Nellis Air Force Base was louder than I had expected. At least it was quite during the night. Breakfast was hot and provided lots of selections. I would stay there again.

Great military discounts just outside local base. Easy to get to lots of free parking. Be the hit of the party with your witty knowledge accumulated while staying at a Holiday Inn Express. Friends will be jealous of your exquisite taste and choice of classy living.

HVAC system needs updating. I stayed when it was a high of 60 outside and lows at about 39. It was either too hot or too cold in the room. The system didn't do well keeping a co stant temp. TV picture was poor and pixelated.

Never once had an issue with Holiday Inn Express until we stayed at the one on Nellis in Las Vegas! The pool and hot tub were in accessible, the rooms were filthy, location was very sketchy (heard cops all night long), the cable for the TV was out, the breakfast buffet had stale food and half the breakfast machines were inoperable. So disappointed! May never stay at another one again.

This is a nice and quiet Hotel nestled in North Eastern Las Vegas, with a friendly staff from the front desk to the housekeeping to the kitchen staff. The free breakfast and amenities make the price well worth the stay, as well as the ease of access at the business center make for an easy business trip. We will definitely be staying here again for our business trips to Las Vegas, and we especially love the large parking lot for truck parking. Oh and we love the on-site security guards!

Stay was great. Rooms were tidy and clean. The staff were helpful. We stayed in Vegas for two nights in two different Holiday Inn Express'. Both of the staff were really friendly.

Good service. They didn't let us know we were in an ADA room. Across from the AFB and heard jets flying around. Nice finishes.

Nice Clean place to stay. Good breakfast both saturday and sunday, basic but more than enough. The room air was just too cold I had to turn it off. Fall nights in the desert get cool. Nice shower, the hot water never ran out, and I took a long one after walking the strip. Friendly staff. No hidden fees or charges for my stay, I had prepaid by paypal and the $25 hold on my visa (they required it) has cleared off.

Property is a little tired and is due for a renovation. I received excellent service and the breakfast was great.

The elevator was broken, and we had to carry our luggage up to the third floor — I'm 74 years old. The room had a pervasive cigarette odor. The ice machine was broken and had no ice. But the staff were VERY good.

We stayed in a room with two queen beds. It was clean and comfortable. Only thing was that I requested a rollaway bed in my reservation, but when I was checking in they informed me it wasn't allowed for safety reasons. Wish I was informed that before and when I made the reservations. Also, surrounding area is industrial and a bit shady. Only stayed here last minute because it was close to relatives we were visiting.

Nice clean Holiday Express right across the street from Nellis Air Force Base. The rooms are appointed nicely with flat screen TVs and refrigerators. They have a small outdoor pool and indoor jacuzzi. We have enjoyed watching the Thunderbirds practicing several times while we had stayed here.

Clean, quiet hotel with good amenities. Free breakfast was an added bonus given the reasonable room price. The staff was very professional. Great affordable option for Vegas trip. It's about 20 minutes from the strip in the quieter but pretty safe part of town.

3rd floor room, was clean and smelled not bad. The room was cleaned nicely while I was gone during the day. The front desk staff was very nice. Breakfast was also nice, and the breakfast staff was particularly nice. The location is not that good, we had a room neighbour that got their bicycle tires stolen off their bikes locked to their car the first night of their stay… bring your belongings into your room!

I don't post reviews often but the staff of this hotel are extremely accomodating and have provided some of the best customer service I've ever recieved. Highly recommended.

Good hotel, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was decent and started early. Area is kind of run down, and not much of anything in walking distance, but hotel itself is great.

The hotel is very clean and staff have been excellent. However, the area where the hotel is located is very sketchy. We felt like we needed to move everything up in to our room, including 4 bikes, to keep things safe. I would not recommend this hotel if you are traveling with children.

We were only there for a short time but the hotel was very clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Pretty good continental breakfast too.

Horrible staff and comidations. I travel often with work and have never had a worse experience. The first night I had no heating in my room. I couldn't sleep because I was freezing all night. Hotel staff said they would have the maintenance man take a look at it (later that day). Upon returning from work on the third day the water in the room was coming out brown! When I went to talk to the two girls at the desk they said that the hotel was having pipe issues. They didn't even offer drinking water for brushing my teeth? If only this survey could let you upload a picture… It was beyond gross. They explained that it was not the fault of the hotel? and offered a $50 refund off my stay. Considering the room was uninhabitable, they should have refund my stay and offered points onto my rewards card. I checked out that minute and found other comidations. This Holiday Inn Express should invest some time and money into not only the quality of the hotel, but the very inconsiderate staff. Customer service has left the building for sure!

As I was traveling to California I found my self having to stay in Vegas at 3 am and could not find a single hotel room. I made a reservation through a mobile app just to find out when I got to the hotel that they had made the reservation to check in the next day at 3 pm. Chris the desk clerk at the time helped me find a place to stay. I Thank him for turning my bad experience into a great one for going the extra mile to help me when he did not have to. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here next time I am in Vegas. The rooms were very clean and specious.

Room was very clean (along with the entire hotel), breakfast was great and the staff was helpful. The only issue I had was the cleanliness of the pool. There were a lot of dead bees in it. Also, the neighborhood is a little rough but as long as you don't go exploring at 2am you'll be fine. I would stay here again!
