Do not, I repeat, do not get any rooms, or any services from this establishment. The experience was horrible. I reserved a room for a wedding this past Saturday. Had to pay a $50 deposit (returnable) a $250 hold on my debit card, plus the cost of the room $79. Damn ridiculous. Then when my friend and I get in the room, there are roaches, termites, trash, unclean linen, dirty carpet, and mold in the bathroom. We were offered another on the 3rd floor, the conditions were the same. I was appauld. This is unacceptable for the Wyndham Name! While we were in the process of getting our return for the dissatisfaction, another customers comes to the counter to ask the management to get someone to change the dirty linen on their bed. This is well after the 3pm check-in. Those rooms should have been spotless and ready for occupancy. I am not awaiting for my $50 deposit and my $182.84 to be returned to my card. DISGUSTING is too nice of a word. And people still smoke in those rooms because the rooms were smelly of smoke and mildew. My Best friend who blocked rooms for her wedding guest had rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. They all smelled horrible.

I’ve stayed at motel 6s better than this. Most Wyndham hotels are really nice but this is below par to their standards. Bathtub is clog and you can tell they need to repair little stuff in the room here and there. One of the elevators is out of order so it’s a little wait for it. According to the other reviews it’s been out for months and they’ve yet to repair it. Our room wasn’t cleaned and when we came back somebody had turned the sign on our door to do not disturb. I have a feeling it was one of the staff that turned it, do to the fact that other guest have the same problem of the staff not cleaning the rooms. We requested more towels but they never came. They had a party at night but couldn’t hear the loud music on the second floor so that’s good. On the toilet paper roll you can tell it was wet and they let it dried, didn’t use it. Staff was friendly but it didn’t make up for everything else. I expected more from a Wyndham hotel and for the price paid.

I would recommend this hotel. Me and my family visit the hotel on June 7 and stayed through the 10th. Honey made our arrangements and was very helpful every time we needed to change anything. So we're off to a great start. We arrived and there was a challenge with one of the rooms and immediately they handled the problem. The next day I had an issue with my room and the Supervisor of Housekeeping took care of it personally. Demetrius at the front desk made sure the whole family was taking care of. All of these ladies where such a Blessing to me and my family. Thanks so much for a great staff.

Room was lovely for the most part, a little water damage on the ceiling, but very nice otherwise. Clean, pleasantly furnished, comfortable bed. Staff was helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the meal at the restaurant. Well maintained pool.

The music could be heard in our room and we couldn't sleep after traveling all day. There were people running up and down the hall way trying to open the door to our room. It felt unsafe. When we talked to the staff they were very unresponsive until the manager came and she was so overwhelmed with complaints from all the other guest she didn't know what say. Later we found out, after we got food, that the refrigerator was not working. The hot water was not working one of the days and the next day after they "fixed" the problem only the hot water was working so we were unable to shower because it was scolding HOT! it was a horrible experience over all. We also asked to get a refund so we could go somewhere else and we were refused.

Bizarre smell in our room the entire time. Maybe it was a good thing that we never found out what it was, but we could definitely tell it was there. Water slowly got colder and colder before we eventually had a freezing cold shower the morning we left. Our room was cleaned once, and afterwards they only gave us hand towels — we had to catch a passing staff member in order to get actual bath towels. We even had trouble sleeping because of the godforsaken jazz band playing right outside of the lobby entrance. We got a hotel away from the biggest parts of the city to avoid that kind of disturbance. Should have known something was up when our keys didn't work after checking in. Can't speak for the food, because we knew to not touch that with a 10ft pole. The beds were nice though! Probably the only thing preventing a one star review.

They made my 8 hour drive, very pleasurable. The staff was very attentive, made daily calls, to our room, to ask if we needed anything, and I have not one complaint. Being from Louisiana, now living in Dallas… I kinda miss that Louisiana hospitality… so this staff was great. I'd recommend this hotel, and stay again, and again.

This hotel was fairly clean. The biggest compliant was there was a live band playing in the lobby and which made the check in process very difficult. They didn't have any extra towels and did not put enough towels in the room for the number of guest. Parking was also terrible due to the fact that most of the parking was taking by the people there watching the band so there was very little parking for the guest staying there. They also doubled charged my credit card for the stay. Would only recommend this hotel if there were no others available.

Hotel has nice beds, grounds are clean. But, I only had a small towel for the both me and my wife, not even a shower towel. Had to go to the front desk to ask for towels, because my room, 311, had no desk phone. The lady at the front desk wrote down my request on a book and never got the towels. Ended up using the pillow coves as towels. Won't stay here anymore. And so, the question is now, are all Wyndham Garden Inns this bad?

Pretty bad. The last thing you want to see when you go into a hotel room is to find evidence of someone else's visit or stay. Stray bathroom pubes, rogue sequins from someone's dress as well as long gray hairs plagued the 3 day stay. We opted to bring our own sheets and cleaning supplies and then put on the "do not disturb" sign for the whole stay. I once went to the front desk at about 9 pm to ask for another bar of soap. I was given two separate quarter sized bars and told that was all they had. I asked for an extra pillow (there were only 3 on the king size bed) and they didn't have those either. It was as though an extra pillow could only be located at another hotel or when the entire staff was present. The result was I quit asking or dreaming of getting even the most rudimentary of hotel client requests. Read and heed these other reviews. If you can afford it. Go somewhere else.

Room nice and a good size. Bed very comfortable, food good. But… Been here 3 nights now. No one has come to clean our room. Ran out of toilet paper just now. No fresh towels anywhere. On hold at the front desk for over 25 minutes with no answer in sight. Bar tender can't make a decent drink to save his life… Boy l could sure use a good one right about now!

Very poor service. Asked for extra pillows and a blanket 3 times and never received it. There were roaches in the room. On the room with floors there are exit signs pointing to a wall… no actual exits. Would be disastrous if there was a fire. In the restaurant there was one person working the bar, taking food orders at tables, delivering food to rooms and getting food from kitchen. Had to ask 3 times to get our drinks. Had finished eating by the time we got it. Food was horrendous. Chicken nuggets were definitely not chicken. Tea smelled like dirty dishrags. Of course it was not his fault that he had to do all this alone. Customers were getting very frustrated though. Front desk clerk was very nice.

Do not stay here under no circumstances. The prices are reasonable because the services are jacked up and unprofessional. I tried checking in I had to wait 4hours for a room and I’m not joking. They didn’t even offer me anything to fix the problem once I made it upstairs. The room was still dirty. It had brown strikes on the supposed to be white sheets. I will never stay here ever again.

Check in was at 4 p. M. Didn't get offered a room until 7:30 p. M. I made my reservation weeks in advance. I watched multiple people come in after me and get a room quicker than I did. People were being checked in to uncleaned rooms. The staff was unable to offer anything as my boyfriend and I waited. (Asked for free drinks while we waited — we were denied) Assistant Manager (Preslyn Adams) was very rude and unhelpful. Of course I was frustrated and became upset with her and as a result she threatened me asking " If I knew where I was " implying that I should be scared. After that I told her I didn't want to stay there and I expected my money back. She proceeded to tell me she didn't want me staying there either and cancelled my booking. Unprofessional and embarrassing on their part.

Too bad the service registry entry. We arrived at 4 p. M. And we were told that the room was not clean, we waited until 5 and not delivered. We returned at 9 p. M. And we came out with the same thing! The room was not clean! We did and we paid the booking more than two weeks ago! After the claim was delivered with a bad attitude, not without first to propose returning the money!

When we booked we had actually not read the reviews. So when we did we were nervous. We decided to just go with it and we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. I gave it a 4 because the bathrooms are small and it can get noisey as people go back to their rooms. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. We will stay here again.

We stayed from December 31, 2017 — January 2, 2018. We heard someone in the hall mention that they didn't have hot water so we checked our shower and sink. Sure enough, no hot water. We asked the front desk to take a look at it while we were out for dinner. Discovered that night that nothing had been done and hoped they were still working on it. Called the next morning and asked. They told us they would work on it. An hour later they were not able to provide any updates and we asked to be moved to a room with hot water. They said okay. We took cold showers at 9 am. We had plans for the day and were attending the Sugar Bowl and didn't want to waste anymore time. The called at 9:15 and said they were preparing a room, by 10 we hadn't heard anything so we told the front desk to forget about it and we would just not take a shower the next day. We came back to our room after the Sugar Bowl (around 12am) to find that the beds had not been made (I left a bag on the bed, this could have been the issue but not sure), the trash cans hand not been emptied (they were full), and we saw new towels, however those towels had hair on them, which leads one to believe they were not in fact clean. We never heard an apology anytime we asked about the water or a status update. It very much seemed that they were well aware that this was a wide spread problem and not an isolated incident and were choosing to pretend it was no big deal.

Nice hotel but a few quirks. The hotel is modern with plenty of free parking for its guests. It's right off of I-10 and about 20mins to downtown. Most of the staff is courteous, but one was exceptionally rude and short with her responses. Rooms are a decent size, but bathrooms are a bit small. Bathrooms have a nice, huge mirror that lights up. Housekeeping was polite but they could do a much better job. They forget to replenish towels daily and don't clean the floor. There is definitely a plumbing issue because the water would run extremely hot then cold over and over again each day. I would stay here again possibly but more likely would look for another hotel.

I was going to keep my bad review to myself, but here I am a week later still trying to get my deposit back after 5 phone calls and no call backs as promised. On day three of five of my stay I put up the tag to have my room freshened on two for clean towels. I had to call and ask, still getting nothing. I stripped my bed and brought the linens into the hall as housekeeping was wrapping up for the day (not cleaning my room). It took two hours to get fresh linens and I made the bed myself. I just want my deposit back. We spent almost $600 here and there was no one at the desk when we checked out at 5am to catch our plane home.

On the surface this hotel looks nice. The lobby and room is contemporary. However Ihousekeeping service is poor. Room was barely Cleaned upon check in. Toiletries were missing or used;bathroom was not cleaned because only 1 on staff during weekend who came after 6 pm. Hotel has a plumbing problem. Our bathroom had a constant leak from the floor and sink.

This place has potential. Best part of our stay was the staff. Very nice and accommodating. The Restaurant has good food! The chicken wings were amazing. The bed was big and comfortable. Overall was pretty clean in the room. Hallways were dirty. The bathroom was tiny. No fan in the bathroom and the bathtub has a slow drain so it fills up while showering. The chain on the toilet kept falling off. The Bathroom mirror is amazing! its a lit mirror that makes it perfect for gettin ready. Its next to I — 10 so the road noise is annoying. About a 15 minute uber to the French Quarter. Good place of traveling Solo.

It is obvious that Wyndham does not care about their name, our weekend stay here by far was equivalent to a motel6. You would think with a name like this that district and regional managers would be doing good spot inspections on their facilities. This is the first hotel we have ever been where they have their cleaning people still cleaning rooms in the middle of the night with absolutely zero regard to the quests trying to sleep. They were intentionally loud and did not even care about it, banging up against the walls and dropping stuff. We called the front desk and it was obvious that they either did nothing or the manager is more of a friend than a boss and the employees paid her no mind. So very rude and inconsiderate employees and the elevator sounds like it hasn't been serviced since it was built and was very loud so we heard it all night as people went up and down. Worst stay in a hotel especially one with a brand name, this stay has marked all Wyndham hotels off our list because it is obvious that corporate only cares about a profit and not the quality stay that they advertise on their overly hyped commercials. We got absolutely zero rest and we will never stay at a Wyndham again!

Enjoyed a live jaxx set. And it was outstanding. Food and drinks were awsome. A very nice place to say the least.

The hotel experience I had the this pass weekend had to be one of my worst experiences over all! I booked a room so me & my kids could swim and enjoy ourselves! Once we entered the room my 7 year old found old empty beer cans in the bath room where the towels were suppose to be, first red flag! We went by the pool with just a few snacks & was told we couldn't have them by the pool after seeing others with food by the pool, (Racism maybe) another red flag! I brushed it off until I went to the front desk to ask for towel & never received them! Then the Front desk managers came to the poolside to smoke their cigarettes IN FRONT OF MY KIDS! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, & DISRESPECT of them! NEVER AGAIN! I strongly advise anyone not to BOOK this HOTEL EVER!

-15 min from French Quarter -bathroom needs updating -water only got lukewarm -asked for towels, was told they were in the dryer, would deliver. Had to go down and ask again to get them -next morning, no breakfast because "they just didn't open" -I would only stay again if I'm on a turnaround trip and nothing else is available. — For the price I paid, I expected better. We met a gentleman at a wedding at a much better hotel who paid less. He booked thru Hotwire.

New Management. Renovated and very nice. Easy to find with stores and restaurants near. Great value on conference rooms and rooms.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. The only problem was the people staying next to our room. They felt it was appropriate to have a party in the hallway and in there room. The staff was good once they were called.

I hate to write a bad review. I can usually figure that if a hotel doesn't meet my expectations it's because I didn't do enough research or I just made a bad choice. However what unfortunately started out to be a great stay turned bad. We had placed some things in the room safe. When we came back a $1000.00 had been stolen from safe. It was reported but I don't expect anything will come of it. The room was great clean, beds were excellent it would have received a 5. Maybe this was just a fluke. If you stay here don't use the room safes, just take your stuff with you.

Called and was told I could drive over and check in immediately. So we did but once we got there the WHITE, OLD, RAGGEDY LADY stopped the younger black lady from assisting us. The white, old, raggedy lady looked at me ugly and said, " you will just have to sit down and wait. WE ARE CHANGING SHIFTS! " I asked her, "And how long will that be? " She never looked at me but did say rudely, "I don't know. 5 or 10 minutes! " In my experience… the CUSTOMER should ALWAYS be tended to and the EMPLOYEE should remember that she has a job thanks to paying customers. I would have PAID UP FRONT for a WHOLE WEEK but because of her WHITE PREJUDICE ATTITUDE, WE drive next door to the Days Inn where the nice lady gave us a discount and breakfast… not just a continental breakfast.

Yuck! I was visiting from out of town. the first room I checked in had a urine stain on the toilet seat and one of the beds had sexual secretions on the sheets… complained, and was offered a second room… I moved the covers back and there was a hugh urine stain under the comforter… disgusting! i really hated it… the hotel smelled like mildew and it was strong. Never again! I went to walmart which was like 2 mins down the street to but towels and cover because I refuse to use the stuff in the room.

The rooms are remodeled, everything is new, excellent service, good breakfast.

Very nice experience! I had a bad experience with the Knights Inn down the street and left immediately after I got my refund. The front desk attendant at the Clarion was very nice and even let me view the room before I paid for it. The breakfast is standard but delicious! Plenty of hot water and cable as well. I will definitely be coming back.

In a bad part of town. I drove into the parking lot and didn't even check in before I decided to cancel. Abandoned buildings with brand on Windows and broken fences everywhere. Didn't feel safe at all. They even had a shooting around there that made news the next day.

Good value. Hot breakfast. 15 minutes from down town. Outdoor pool. Laundry facilities. Very small gym.

I came to New Orleans for a little getaway. The Clarion was extremely well for the amount I paid. I needed to change my room with having my 1 year old son with me and they were able to accommodate me in a matter of minutes. The room was bigger than I expected giving my son more than enough room to play. They placed reminders in the elevators on when the free breakfast is served during the week and weekends. The entire hotel was clean from the pool, parking lot, and the hallways. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip in a few months!

This place is very outdated & cruddy. Our hot water facet didn't work at the sink. The entire floor smelled heavy of weed as soon as the elevator doors opened & the parking lot was dimly lit & shoddy.

My husband and I rented this room for Mardi Gras, for 200 bucks. Considering it's usually a 50 dollar room it was really nice. The room was really clean, the TV had like 300 channels including HBO and other premium channels, the AC/heater wasn't a typical hotel AC unit it was nice and worked good. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, I went down late and there was plenty of everything left — omelets & sausage, french toast sticks, and all the other typical stuff. Super friendly staff, a lady at the front desk suggested a restaurant cus I was craving gator and even gave me a coupon. Also the hotel is only 10 mins from downtown. Would definitely come back.

This hotel cost 50 bucks a night. If you're looking for the Ritz, this ain't it. If you're looking for immaculately cleaned rooms, amazing staff, quiet area, and 15 minutes from the French Quarter, then this is perfect. Breakfast is standard hotel free breakfast :carb laden and bountiful. The doors to the rooms are hideous, that's my only complaint.

Mr. Brown and his team are applying continuous improvement to this property and are good ambassadors for the NOLA area. All (minor) issues that arose were dealt with swiftly and competently. I would recommend this hotel to any friend of mine.

I have stayed here twice. Once back in November 2013, when it was Best Western Avalon, for one night, for a concert in town. It was a huge surprise to my friend and I. Our rooms were great and we had no issues getting to downtown and everything. And the breakfast the next morning was fantastic. Then I stayed here again, when they changed to Clarion Inn, with my parents in February of 2014, again for one night, we didn't have any issues, and my parents enjoyed the continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Humble, pure, calm. Were family in January 2015. To town 10 minutes by car.
