Lousy breakfast. I had to get them to spray the room cause it smelled like smoke. The fitness room only had two equipment. I dont know what I paid for.

Checking in was a sad process the receptionist stated that the rest of the guests, who are already checked in was working on her nerves, as they were 10 other people in the lobby trying to check-in. The rooms weren't clean nor were they ready and it was almost midnight. The hotel is old, dirty and outdated.

We had the pleasure of staying here overnight prior to our cruise. We enjoyed the staff, Tiffany-Manager, Craig-Houseman and Michelle-Housekeeping did a very good job in meeting our needs. They even offer places to visit while in New Orleans for our first time! The rooms were clean and even though we arrived three hours before check in, they were able to accommodate us without any question. For our next trip to New Orleans, we will definitely be staying at this location again.

I cannot stress enough how terrible this place is. I went with a group of 18 people and when we first arrived everyone had to switch rooms 3 times because either the room was dirty or the AC unit was broken. Cleaning staff weren’t working at the time so the rooms couldn’t get “cleaned” right away. Our first room wasn’t cleaned. The second rooms AC unit was broken. On our final room change, we realized our phone was broken. The phone didn’t have a dial tone and had half of the buttons taken off of the phone. At the end of the night, we realized that we were only given two towels so we needed two more. We walked down to the office to get more and they were out of clean laundry so we were told to wait and they would bring it up to us. Then 40 minutes go by and we go back to the front office to realize that they had forgotten about us. We walked back across the parking lot to the laundry room and grab our own towels so that we could shower. Oddly enough, there was the same shade of lipstick smeared on the sheets and the bathroom door of two of the rooms. The rooms that were supposedly cleaned. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

A kid named Jackson checked us in and he was fantastic. He gets a star. Our first room smelled of urine. Our second room wasn't clean. The mini fridge had food in it. There was an old soap bar stuck in the tub, hair on the floor, and we had to plunge the toilet 2x. Were told to talk to manager in the morning, but there was not a manager on site. Lots of run arounds. Excuses. Hostile staff. The pool is not maintained. Breakfast was mediocre. Location is good. Not a great experience.

The facility was very disappointing… ugh… The UPSIDE of our stay was the staff. Tiffany gracefully cancelled our 2nd night, returning the cost PLUS returned 50% of what we paid to stay there 1 night.

Probably one of the least enjoyable hotel experiences I have ever had. Some of the electrical outlets were not in working order, the toilet had drainage issues, and our shower had terrible water pressure with lukewarm water. We had a huge problem with the AC/Heat unit keeping the temperature in the room within a normal range. The biggest problem with our room was that the lock to our door never latched properly. (This became a safety issue when at one point a stranger accidentally opened the door to our room one night without a key card) We brought these issues to the management's attention however during our short stay, the problems remained unresolved. In addition to the uncomfortable room conditions, we also witnessed a serious domestic dispute in the parking lot that severely escalated. When searching for a place to stay that is within budget, this establishment will most likely fall on your list, but I caution travelers to keep in mind issues of safety and security when looking for a place to stay in NOLA.

This hotel is older and a little dirty. But I give the owner 5 stars. She was sweet and full of information and history. You can tell she loves her hotel and all of her guest. She made me feel like family. I will stay on my next visit but only for night.

The air didn't work. The room wasn't cleaned. Girls going from room to room all night long. People walking the parking lot all night. Yelling in front of our room door. Drugs, needles, Bad area.

Absolutely not a very clean place to stay with kids. My Family stayed 4 nights and not once did we get our room serviced. We Had To Ask For Towels daily. Rooms are stuffy and musty. We left a day early and I was told I would get a refund within 7-10days and it’s been over a month! Every time I call I get the same answer and no further details. I would not recommend this location unless you absolutely can not find another location!

Very dirty rooms. Our booking got cancelled and no one called and told us. The next day they moved us into rooms but it was very inconvenient overall. There was a gross stain on one of the bedskirts and trash behind the nightstand. Would NEVER stay here again.

Right off the highway into New Orleans, but still about 20 minutes from town (if the highway is open). You honestly get what you pay for with this Days Inn. Did not receive housekeeping, but everything else was clean. Standard chain breakfast offerings, which I enjoyed.

I like it cause it's quite and rite around the corner from the store and it's easy in your pocket.

Amenities are not up to date and in disrepair. Breakfast was not served according to schedule, although the employee serving it was the most helpful and courteous of any I interacted with.

I'm a budget solo Traveller so I wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton. My bed was super comfortable, the shower had hot water, the microwave came in handy, and they offered FREE breakfast! It wasn't advertised so I was surprised. Management (Ms. Tiffany) was very helpful and pleasant throughout me reserving the room and my stay. Yes, my room had some issues. When I reported them I was offered to switch rooms but I declined. Even though the location was far from the Mardi gras area. Days inn location was quite and I was able to enjoy a nice breakfast at the waffle House near by. Thank you Ms. Tiffany!

False advertisements. There is no internet connection anywhere in the motel area. There is something but it doesn't even work for surfing light web pages. Front desk told me there is nothing they can do about it. Everything thing else wasn't so bad.

Was great had reservations was booked in with a key and not far from downtown.

2 1/2 STARS First off, you get what you pay for. So we weren't expecting the plaza. I used my corporate id and got almost a 40% discount and we STILL almost couldnt do it. I couldnt imagine paying full price. Id be enraged. We go in to check the place out. Disgusting. Someone else's hair was all over the shower. The toilet was disgusting. I was disgusted at the thought of showering in this place so wiped the bathroom free of hair and whatever else they missed when they half assed this one. Even then I wore flip flops and wouldn't let my body touch the walls or curtain when showering. UGH, and I swear I'm low maintenance. I can do whatever as long as its clean. The hair dryer didn't work, the coffee pot didn't work, half the outlets didn't work. If this is your ONLY OPTION, bring cleaning supplies, sheets, towels, pillows, blankets, coffee, hair dryer… if it isnt your only option spend the extra and avoid this place. Lesson learned to read the reviews.

Had to change rooms due to the mildew smell in the first room. After the switch, everything ran and smooth. There are a few restaurants around and a few stores for convenience. No issues with neighbors or staff.

Good hotel for the price. Clean, modern, friendly and safe. Only complaint were the walls were a little thin and at times when the fan wasn't running could here neighbors.

In its day I'm sure it was a very nice Motel. It is older and in need of maintenance. The hot and cold water lines were installed backwards. It was clean. The office Personnel were friendly and helpful. We did have noisy neighbors for about an hour and a half during the middle of the night.

Hotel was about 20-30 minute drive to the French Quarter and just off of I10. Plenty of space in the room. The security lock needs fixed because in my room it was broke in half.

Room was acceptable. Power did not work on table between beds. No clock. No lamp. Service was good.

Been here a lot. Always been treated great Not a bad motel at all. Very safe felling also for the Family. ps. It's been two years now Today is 9/6/17 I got stabbed in the leg and robbed after being there for a long time as I was loading my stuff in my truck to leave around 930pm. Still have never heard back from the cops! Guess there's too much death there to care about a lil ole stabbing and mugging.

This hotel is completely horrible! roaches roaches roaches! smelled like old mildew & smoke!

Very sketchy at times with the few people who seem to live her. All of our interactions with the staff were really good very friendly. Room smelt like marijuana in a non smoking room… however we were looking for a cheap place just to sleep and this was just that, the room was actually clean mattress was crazy bad! The area around was not the best but not the worst either. Would stay again if on a budget… We were also armed and from Atlanta.

We got here from Houston Tx and checked in around 11:30 pm, we were exhausted from the drive. We get into our room, I go to use the bathroom and the toilet seat is filthy as well as the tub, I tell my partner to call the office and see a roach running up the wall of the shower! The receptionist told my partner she had no one to come clean the bathroom and that we would have to come pick up cleaning products to clean it ourselves, she gave her a spray bottle with some solution and Clorox wipes and we had to clean our own bathroom. My partner asked for towels to clean and they had none extra for that according to the receptionist! On top of that the next morning we went outside to our car and their housekeeper was loud on her phone yelling at her kids on the phone, we got that from her conversation, and very unprofessional. Her coworker let her know to get off the phone and she began to yell and curse at her! I gave two stars because the assistant manager that next morning was apologetic and gave us 20% off our night which I felt we should have gotten at least half off. Needless to say we won't consider stepping foot in this place again!

Great value, low price and although you only get what you pay for, it is clean and rooms are a nice size. Has microwave, refrigerator (that wasn't plugged in), blow dryer (didn't work). Large sink area and plenty of parking.

One of the worst Inn ever! In the room that they gave us, the toilet flush was working poorly! We informed the manager and instead of changing our room, he sent somebody who was really rude to take a look which at the end nothing happened and they didn't change our room!

Really old, ugly and really uncleaned just close it already dont waste your money.

The beds are squeaky, the bathroom smelly, other guests smoked outside their room and ours smelled like smoke. Had to ask them to smoke else where. Luckily no confrontation with any of the smokers, but that has never happened at other hotels.

Room was very clean and staff was very nice and professional. The breakfast was VERY GOOD and they had a big variety from fresh sweet oranges and bananas to oatmeal waffles bagels biscuits and gravy. The bed was so comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The ONLY problem we encountered was noisy neighbors wanting to continue their party lol but the hotel staff took care of it immediately and overall we had a GREAT stay. We will definitely stay there again. The price is very affordable.

Overpriced, room smelled musky, room was not vacuumed, we paid $150 for this room when it is only worth $50, we were put in a handicapped room when we asked for regular room. Save yourself some money and sleep in your car if this is the only place available.

Super thin walls. Did not enjoy it at all.

I had no problems the room was clean fresh carpet etc I paid 109.00 a night should have been 99.00 a night or better yet 89.00. It's's in a residential neighborhood. Staff was wonderful no problems. I'll be back will probably use points or something.

Pretty good hotel but kinda in a random spot.

If I could give it NO STARS I would! People laying all over the ground outside, toilets backed up, ac barely worked, asked for a refund for the second night since I didnt even stay the first the manager refused. Do not stay here!

This hotel was ok. Service was great. Rooms were ok. Not bad. But I wouldn't compare it to a Holiday Inn. It is more of a 2 star motel. Not a 3 star hotel.

This place was just fine. I was extremely worried after reading all the reviews, but my husband and I decided to stay in a cheaper hotel outside of town and spend our money having fun downtown than spend all of our money on an expensive hotel limiting our spending on doing fun things downtown. Rooms were clean, service was great… they had shampoo and soap… clean bedding… it was in safe location (only 1 entrance as well enclosing all the rooms). Whatever issues they had before have since been resolved in my book.

Toilets leaked all over the floor. "non-smoking" but there was an ash tray in the room and the whole room smelled of smoke. Not to mention the smoke from the smokers outside would seep into the room. Do not recommend.

1So to start the hotel it's self is ok beds clean floor clean n fresh towels. Now to start cleaning lady's don't even attempt to clean it room. The only time I had my room cleaned was when I slipped n busted my eye on the tub. N blood was all over. Which is another point no bath mats in tubs no handrails it's not safe. Airconditioning leaks in room leaving carpet drenched n wet. I'll never be coming back here.
