Everything was nice and breakfast could have been better.

Horrible horrible experience! Will never return & you shouldn’t either! Woke up after first night there to thousands of ANTS in our bathroom — and we are VERY CLEAN PEOPLE! Looked like they were coming from an electrical outlet, but who knows… The first girl we spoke with mentioned that she was trying to “issue us a full refund for our stay” but couldn’t because we booked through a third party (hotels. Com) which is true — but when I contacted hotels. Com they tried to contact the property and they declined to issue a refund since they moved us to a new room. That’s crazy to me! The hotel is filthy! I literally saw a live lizard while having the terrible breakfast they provide — runny watery eggs — stale sausage etc etc etc when we asked for more cream cheese for a bagel after breakfast had been open for 10 minutes only they said they were out — and that was the only thing we felt comfortable eating there at this point! Took a good 1/2 hour to get warm water for a shower… it was AWFUL! My biggest let down is that the first girl said she would give us that refund and we were never able to get it — she should have never said that! They still should offer us that refund, no matter what. If we wanted a suite, we would purchase a suite. The only difference in the suite there is a small couch. It wasn’t needed for us at all — but that’s I guess how they think they remedied the situation! Just nasty experience!

This hotel is beautiful the staff are amazing make you feel like you're at home.

What I liked about my stay at the Holiday Inn the breakfast area was always clean and fresh food I was very impressed with that the elevator was always waiting for you to come up or down the people are really nice the only thing is the AC in the rooms only goes One Direction and it does not go far across the room it was hot hot hot we had some problems with the refrigeration keeping up food out of drinks cool but other than that the beds were awesome I give three and a half Stars.

It is very nice clean and very comfortable beds and very good prices and lots of parking spaces and a great breakfast that’s included with your room had a great 3 nights ❤️ we will be back lord willing.

Not a bad hotel. It's located right off of interstate 10 and next to a variety of food, family Dollar and down the street from Walmart. Only 20 mins from the French quarters and the staff was very nice. The breakfast is is pretty good and has a large variety as well. The lady that does the food is awesome. I will be back!

I want to commend the service I received from these two young ladies during my stay. Erika and Jazmine. They went above and beyond to help me during an issue I was having. I truly appreciate their assistance. Thank you for making my stay a pleasant one.

I give this place 5 stars! I came this past weekend for Essence Festival with a group of friends and I can not say enough great things about the staff. They were extremely helpful and provided exceptional customer service. Ranisha really was the key to our trip, she took the time to help us find local places to eat, taught us how to catch the bus to Canal and provided directions to many of the tourists attractions. I really can not thank the management and front desk staff enough for making our girls trip to New Orleans and success! I will be back next year for sure! Give everyone a raise great service teams like these are hard to find! Job well done!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The staff was absolutely wonderful! Tasha and Jasmine were wonderful and so helpful and friendly! Ranisha was the highlight of our stay! She was super friendly and so helpful! She recommended great places for us to eat and activities to do while in New Orleans! This hotel has a special staff! I look forward to my next visit here.

I had a great experience! Tasha & Jasmine was very nice at front desk. Also the young lady with glasses. Did my room online and sofa was missing in the room and they made sure we was accommodated and my room & my mom’s room was next to each other. Rooms was clean! Breakfast was great! Oh also the young lady that prepared the breakfast was so polite! Oh and the restaurant next door… so good. Had a great taste of nola my home town. So when I visit Home I know where I’m staying.

Me & my best friend stayed here for 5 days, no complaints at all, it was very clean, staff were really friendly, hotel very quiet, very convenient has a side store (brothers) next door, waffle house, family dollar, & nail shop across the street, walmart down the street we will def be back to stay here next year.

Room was really clean. Bathroom was sizeable and had an anti-fog switch on it which was cool. Breakfast was good and well kept.

Great breakfast nice clean rooms 15 minutes from New Orleans great service.

Staff was great. Young lady ask me to taste and rate her biscuits.

Room is newly remodeled. New carpet in the halls. Fresh paint. Very nice inside. Breakfast is an actual real breakfast with eggs sausage pancakes etc.

Holiday Inn with an exceptional stay and exceptional price. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Hotel is immaculate close enough to New Orleans Bourbon Street but far enough away from the crowds. Would definitely go back to this hotel again. Thank you had wonderful stay for 3 days.

Bad attitude from girl at front desk. Make me wait over an hour because there’s was no early check in. I stayed at parking lot and noticed she let two other families an early check in. Had my boyfriend asked for room and that’s how she agreed to give us the early check in. Then AC didn’t work very good called front desk for a fan to help me sleep and they say they would check for one and got no answer from them in the next two hours and just left the hotel a 4am because it was really hard for me to sleep. It was clean but not covered all my needs.

The hotel is in a great location off of the Interstate but not so close that you can hear traffic. Walmart, restaurants, etc within a mile. The hotel smelled sooo clean and fresh when we walked in. Bed and sofa bed VERY comfortable. Quick getting you extra towels/sheets when needed. HOT breakfast was great! Pancake machine, cinnamon rolls, pork and turkey sausage, veggie omelets, cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, biscuits. Ranisha was VERY attentive to the breakfast area; cleaning and restocking and VERY VERY attentive to the guests. She was so helpful. I don't think she ever stopped moving. Staff very friendly and always smiling. Minutes from the French quarter. Highly recommend.

I arrived at check in time 3 pm to find out my reservation had been canceled via email and no other rooms were available! What happened to customer service and a little common curtesy? Why wasn’t my reservation at least held until check in time?

Newly renovated. Rooms are excellent. Very good cafe next door. Front desk was professional check in.

Extremely helpfully and friendly staff. The rooms are under renovation and has been for a while. It is one of the places I stay when I go down to NO. I prefer the easy access to the interstates and the free parking.

Love the room big, and redone no perfume smell or power smell.

I stayed at this hotel on Nov. 10. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell. It smelled soooo clean. Once in my room I took note at how clean it was. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was quite during the night. No traffic noise. I got a good night sleep in a comfortable bed. Great breakfast I am very satisfied. I have stayed at hotels all over the country, Will stay here again the next time I am in New Orleans. I highly recommend it.

Continental breakfast is the best I have had: pancakes, cereal, sausage, biscuits, scrambled eggs, veggie omelets, and more! Real king size beds! Very nice for a few days.

Construction on side made parking difficult and there were tools and materials out in plain sight, making it difficult to bring young children through. The room had extremely weak ac, ants, and mystery stains on the headboard. Service was great, but the conditions they have to work in seem questionable.

Recently renovated so everything is new. It's convenient to a lot of shopping and food. Great customer service!

Angel front desk yesterday at 6pm was extremely friendly, efficient and sweet. She needs to be complemented on her service.

The front desk staff was professional and polite. The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. Overall the room was very clean and I had no complaints.

Everything was great except the pool. It was nasty. My 4 year old granddaughter didn't want to swim. It was Memorial weekend too.

This hotel staff is amazing. Janet was an employee that went out of her way for me. I was about 5 minutes late to breakfast and she reopened the orange juice so I could have some. So sweet. The rooms were clean and all the staff was amazing. I recommend this hotel 100%!

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the service and breakfast provided. Rooms were spacious the beds were comfortable.

The customer service at this hotel was great I booked and paid for my stay via Expedia. When I arrived at the hotel, they had a different room reserved for me. I was not happy because I was there for a special event. The clerk was very understanding and she was able to switch my room with an upgrade. Overall the hotel is clean, t uh we breakfast is good and the location is great, right off the interstate with lots of eating places around. I will definitely stay there again.

Good customer service. Breakfast was okay. Eggs were terrible. Other than that everything was fine.

Friendly staff. Stayed a week, breakfast was typical and ok, ran out of milk but breakfast area and lobby clean and nice. Pool was closed and green. Beds were clean but curtains stained and chairs stained. Shower had very poor water pressure. Toilet had weird hot water. Room felt dingy. Definitely in need of updates. Would stay again in a pinch but not one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in.

Toilets Barely Flushed. We'd been calling Daily and were told that the Manager would get back with us Tomorrow which never Happened. Suites were Really Small.

Good: Was it's self was nice. Good breakfast room stayed some what clean. Bad: In a very rough neighborhood Four cars were broken in to during my stay of three nights. No water pressure or hot water…

We had NO water pressure for a shower and NO hot water AT ALL to even take a shower which was very upsetting. The young lady at the desk was extremely busy and she did a great job as she was alone and thwre was a line of people waiting to check in.

I have contacted this hotel multiple times and I am being ignored. On top of the hotel not being very clean, the shower water being luke warm at best, and our iron not in our room when requested, this hotel charged me $163.75 more than what I was quoted. We traveled to New Orleans for our wedding and were very confident in booking through Holiday Inn Express. I have contacted cooperate in which they have redirected me back to this hotel and I am getting nowhere with the manager, Iris. I have let messages for this manager and I have not received a call or an email back for the past 3 days. I feel like I am being pushed between one person and the next. The way that your hotel is handling me individually is unprofessional. The only concern that I need to have addressed is that you over charged me. I am patiently waiting for your call.

It was a very nice stay… the rooms were nice. The peole was nice … and it was very cheap.

The suite style is cute but it I'd kind of tight. It's economically designed. Continental breakfast is great!

The room was moderately priced and clean, but the AC unit was unreliable. There was no maintenance on staff at 7:30PM and no night manager to speak with about the issue.

Cj at the front desk was great, such a cutie with his man bun. Was very helpfull.

Stayed two nights this past week and don't believe there are enough words to describe how pleasant the stay was. The hotel was very clean and front desk staff was nice and greeted us everytime we left or entered. The room was spacious and included a microwave and fridge. Stayed in the quarter the first 3 nights of our trip but definitely will be staying at this Holiday Inn express again next trip down. Highly suggest this hotel to anybody looking to stay in New Orleans East.

I do not grasp the negative reviews. This is a well lit parking area hotel, cleaned, rooms were great, outstanding staff, and fresh breakfast. Thank you so much Bre, Kia, and Ashley!

Brand new hotel, clean, plenty of parking, nice amenities, friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay.

Place is dirty, poorly constructed and poorly maintained. Don't believe the positive reviews obviously posted by ownership or staff. Stay away from this one.

Air conditioning did not work nor the micro wave, very hot and dissapointing night.

I do not know where these negative reviewers stayed. Im here for 3 days and if I could include pics I would. I flew in for 3 days to work on a production and I was very worried after I had made the reservations and then read the reviews I was very worried. But I have to say, the hotel is clean, new, fresh. The staff was very very good. The parking lot is brightly lit, so much that sometimes I thought it was daylight coming through the curtains. Its very visible. Very bright. Safe. The area itself is not seedy or unsafe. But you will not find a resturaunt, be prepared to eat fast food, one seafood resturaunt next door and a chinese resturaunt across the street. The hotel is very very quiet. I would rate the room 8 out of 10. Its the usual holiday inn express. Everything was within a few years old or maybe just a year. The beds were very very clean although the mattresses are not very comfy. But then again, they are not spending $3000 for a mattress. I cannot find anything negative to say about this hotel or the area. I question the recent negative reviews. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is the worst Holiday Inn I have experienced. We booked non-smoking room, but when we got there, they put me in smoking room without any notification. When I open the door of the room, the smell was so bad. We asked to change to the room in nonsmoking area, they said no room. After long argument, they moved me to another standard room, but they had charged me with 30 % higher price than the rate of that room should be, the beddings were not cleaned as well. The sheet is very thin sheet, and blanket is dark brown color. I couldn't believe it's Holiday Inn. Since I have chosen Holiday Inn as the first choice for my travel hotel for many many years. It was cleaned hotel. But this one totally changed my mind.

Be sure to ask them about the way their rates will suddenly double without any advance notice at all. Getting a room for $80-$90 a night is great, until they decide to go ahead and charge you $199 a night without letting you know ahead of time. Great place to stay if you're a fan of being legally robbed. Strongly recommend you stay at a hotel that's worth more than what I flush down my toilet every day instead of this place.

Terrible Wi-Fi, iron didn't work, hair dryer didn't work, no hot water first 24 hrs, and weird smell through the whole building. Not worth the price.

I arrived around midnight a few nights before and just chatted while checking in. I guess I mentioned I was traveling along the Gulf Coast for work and would be back in a few days. When I came back, they had a little gift bag and note, along with some other things, to welcome me back. Made my day and trip! The hotel might not be the newest, but the staff I've encountered has been extremely friendly and I will definitely stay here every time I'm in town.

The building is showing its age. Water pressure is low and plumbing shows corrosion. The sink had better flow than the bath or shower. The shower curtain was torn. They have Sysco soap in the bathroom instead of the usual cinnamon scented HIE soap. The lights from the neighboring property pool are pointed directly into my room. I haven't tried the breakfast yet, so I can't comment on that. The only plus for this hotel is free parking which is often not the case in New Orleans.

Terrible! The pool was closed due to not being able to get the chemicals right. The hot-tub was cemented over. Our room was not ready on time and on our second night there housekeeping took all our towels — We called to get more towels but none were available. Front desk employees were nice but really when or how does a hotel run out of towels. It is Far away from the French Q as well.
