We stayed here fir my son’s wedding. Michelle and Bob are lovely hosts. The house is beautiful and so comfy.

Best Bed & Breakfast in New Orleans. Walking distance to everything and a safe Neighborhood. Michelle & Bob make a Great Breakfast each morning & give you a Map with the best locations to hit each day.

The complete New Orleans experience. 1 block from Frenchman St. 3 blocks from the river. Best place I’ve stayed at in New Orleans. Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast and coffee completed the trip. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn and the location can't be beat. We were within walking distance of fabulous music and the French Quarter, but separate from the crowds. Bob & Michelle are great hosts! Can't wait to return to our little oasis in the Big Easy.

Best hosts anywhere plus I always get a room with a whirlpool bath — essential when you do as much parading and dancing as I do when I'm in NOLA. Also the breakfasts are delicious and the dining room has a very European pensione vibe.

This was my second time here. They are the nicest people. They always help us plan our day and have the best suggestions. Their food is amazing too!

This is our 2nd stay and it’s under new management but it’s still as nice as the first time. The new owners has made some great upgrades through out the place making it more breath taking than the 1st visit❤️❤️❤️

Best Inn in town! Michelle and Bob are always hospitable and accommodating. Beautiful, quaint, quite, clean atmosphere. Breakfast is always on point and wonderful! Easy walkability to the French quarter. You can always chill on the porch and take a nap! Can’t go wrong here. 3rd year coming back! As along as Michelle and Bob are running it we’ll be there — no other spot for us!

Great location! Beautiful place and lovely owners! Very accommodating, so sweet and answered all of our questions! Breakfast was yummy, adorable doggies, I left a piece of my heart in Suite 101! Highly recommend.

Walking distance to almost anywhere, but right around the corner from Frenchman st where they have restaurants with live bands.

Unfortunately we weren't able to stay here due to plumbing issues but Michelle and Bob were great at setting us up at another nearby B&B. The brief time we talked to them they were great hosts. Very nice people!

What a wonderful experience we had at Elysian Fields. Michelle and Bob are terrific hosts. The beautiful property, daily gourmet breakfasts, great coffee (always available) and lovely well appointed rooms made our stay in New Orleans even better than expected.

Rooms are nice, the owners are great! They helped us with parking, told us the safe areas to walk, and gave list of great restaurants/bars to check out. Can't wait to go again!

Very welcoming, nice, open, warmhearted folks, great hospitality, very informative When we asked questions about events or where to go, and they were very interactive/personable with us. I stayed for the weekend for my cousin's bachelor party down in New Orleans. Everything about our stay was great from comfort, relaxation, atmosphere, vibe. We had no Problem or trouble when it came to sleeping, and we all slept like a baby. Great Southern Hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and whenever I will make my way back to New Orleans For Sure I will be staying here. One of the best B&B Inns I've ever stayed in. Thank You Bob and Michelle for taking great care of us all.

Bob and Michelle Hagen are some of the best hosts in the Bed and Breakfast industry. When you stay at Elysian Fields you feel like you are at your own home. We have stayed here several times and would never think of going to any other place while visiting New Orleans. Breakfast is served over a two hour period and is cooked to order. Fresh fruit always accompanies your main course. You can stay at a less expensive Bed and Breakfast but the old addage is true… you get what you pay for.

Got a small room upstairs and it was cozy and quaint. Loved the aveeno toiletries. The hosts were very kind and friendly and cooked wonderful breakfasts (except Sunday was continental). Walk is a little farther to hip part of Bourbon than I thought. Would recommend if you'd like a quiet stay in a historic home!

Friendly hosts, with nice quaint rooms. Only a couple blocks from the trendy part of Frenchman St, but it seems like you're kinda on the border between the nicer and more questionable neighborhoods. Good breakfast.

Great place to stay in NOLA! Innkeepers are wonderful. We felt like locals. Beautiful place inside and out. Will definitely come again.

Your hosts, Bob and Michelle are awesome! They know all the ins and outs of their beautiful city, and make wonderful recommendations of where to go & what to see. Their place is beautiful, as are all the rooms (we sneaked a peek at many of them! ). And Bob is a wonderful cook ~ your breakfast is always delicious.

The Inn itself is an absolutely gorgeous southern home nestled right on the outskirts of The French Quarter. It's perfect location of just being a short walking distance from shopping, restaurants, and bars, yet far enough away from the party atmosphere makes for a great vacation! Bob and Michelle are awesome hosts that are knowledgeable of the area and were always willing to offer suggestions that did not disappoint! I will definitely be returning for follow up visits!

Amazing Bed and Breakfast on sich a historic city. The inn keepers are so freindly and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful. The location is all you could hope for in New Orleans. A home away from home for sure.

Elysian Fields Inn is the place to stay if you want the perfect mix of southern hospitality and local color, and it's located just two blocks from Frenchmen St, the epicenter of live jazz and blues in the Quarter. Beautiful high ceilings, clean rooms and beds, delicious breakfast at a reasonable hour, and honest tips from your hosts Michelle and Bob on where to go and what to do. We stayed there on our 29th wedding anniversary, and it could not have been any better. Going back for sure!

Amazing business and great staff.

First time staying with the new owners, and I love it. I've found my home away from home in New Orleans now. The rooms were good sized, and I'm not sure if all of them have, but my room had a whirlpool tub/shower combo. Super close to everything, but far enough away to deter the annoying Bourbon St. Tourists. Bob and Michelle the owners welcome you with open arms, and I can't get over the food! Went downstairs to expect cereal and was welcomed with home made pancakes and bacon. They even let us park our car in their garage. I will never stay anywhere else in New Orleans.

Bob and Michelle are B&B naturals! My husband and I stayed here for a weekend in early August 2016 — we wish we could have stayed longer. The Inn is located perfectly around three key areas: a short jaunt from the French Quarter, steps away from Frenchman Street, and if you need a quieter night, don't overlook the less touristy Faubourg Marigny district for a nice dinner (we highly recommend Feelings). The room was super cute, spotless, and the bed was so comfortable. The front porch was wonderful to sit out and enjoy the rain along with a glass of wine. Bob and Michelle were great hosts, cared about every detail, managed to make a wonderful breakfast, and carry on meaningful conversations with all the guests. Beck, their dog, is a sweetheart. If we are back in New Orleans, we will book here again!

Fantastic B&B near the French Quarter. The prices are great, the rooms are comfy with high ceilings, and the breakfast in the morning is fantastic. You'll even get to eat breakfast with Beck, the innkeepers' sweet dog who sits near you waiting for pets. This place is in a great location, too. Walkable to the French Quarter, tons of places to eat nearby, and easy to find (even for those unfamiliar with the city). The innkeepers are also super nice. They offered us a custom-made list of things to do, places to see, and great places to eat. They even offered to park our car in their garage during our stay, which was great.

The house is very nice on the inside, walking distance to Frenchman st and all of the French Quarter. The room was delightful and the bathtub had jets that helped to recover from walking all over the quarter. The breakfast is amazing especially the pancakes! Parking is off street in the garages under the house. Parking in garage is available if you plan on not using it during visit (make sure you take all luggage to your room) Thanks Michelle and Bob!

Owners were so helpful to New Orleans newbies with great list of recommendations. Very comfortable rooms and inn to come back to after long day of sightseeing. Close and easy to walk to French Quarters.
