The guest service here is amazing! We ended up being a couple of hours early and they finished our room early and held our luggage and cold food in our room until it was ready so nothing went bad! I will absolutely be back! And it's the most beautiful room I have ever stayed in, the exposed brick walls stole my heart ❤️ and the courtyard is STUNNING! Convenient to everything as well!

Loved our double deluxe suite on the 4th floor. All the amenities of home, & very comfortable! Complimentary Creole dining in the Courtyard was a nice touch. Staff is pleasant, & rooms were clean. Location is great if you plan to get on the Hop On Hop Off on Canal (highly recommend that & the WWII Museum).

Clean their rooms (we have never come here to a clean room), get beds that are decent, give owners that in house exchange the type of bed they ask for,, get rid of the mice problem they have, hire friendly front desk staff. This is not even close to a 3 star resort. It has declined greatly since 2005.

Rat infested hole! Never been so disappointed in a place to stay! Gym equipment didn’t work, staff not helpful, needs updating badly, bed coverlet was so dark and heavy made you wonder how much body fluids were on it and after video taping rats running back and forth while watching TV, we check out!

The place was awesome! Nice comfortable room with kitchen. And Peadria at the front desk was cool as a fan! She was very polite and helped out a lot! I also liked the fact that it was right off the French Quarter!

We recently stayed at the Quarter House and had a wonderful experience! The hotel was clean and felt very at home. We had a living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen had all of the appliances we would have ever needed. Almost everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. The staff was very kind and helpful. The courtyards are both beautiful! We booked directly through the owners, FB Roxanne Hall (NoLaLola Rox). She was wonderful in helping us get everything set up and provided so much information about the area and fun things to do, since this was our first trip to New Orleans. She also offered us discounted rates, even though it was during the French Quarter Jazz Fest since they are the owners. I highly recommend anyone to stay here when visiting New Orleans and be sure to go through Roxanne Hall! She is the sweetest lady. If she doesn't know the answer, she will find it for you. We will definitely be back soon!

Great location. Pleasant staff. Rooms are wonderful, retro. A/C works great. Bathrooms are updated and very efficient. Only downside is lack of on-site parking… but then, visitors parking in NOLA is at a premium all over the Quarter.

A wonderful place. Quiet, clean, staff very helpful information, everything we needed, check on going places that we were going to. How far to walk or they would call taxi. The cleaning staff were very helpful and kind. No complaints. The 3 special events that was provided for clients were great. The gentleman that directed this very knowledgeable and dressed the part. Would like to to go back. Perfect place to walk to all you wanted to do.

Old and historic and beautiful! Great staff! Tiny pool and jacuzzi in a court yard that we frequented! Nice, friendly, and right in the heart of the quarter. We could not of found a better place. All 5 of us loved it. Daily activities in the courtyard and close to everything. I'm in love. The perfect place in New Orleans.

The room was great, it is having your own apartment and in a good location not far from Bourbon Street, I would stay here again.

This apartment complex is located perfectly. Minutes from the French quarter and the main artery through New Orleans, you couldn’t ask for a better placement. The facilities are decent but not spectacular. Service was really friendly and the apartments were fair for the price. Lots of space and the little paddling pool and hot tub (very hot! ) were great. Recommended.

It is a really beautiful establishment, in a super location and the staff are great. We had a really fantastic first two nights in room 112. Then everything went pear shaped… we have been downgraded to room 111 next door, which is much smaller than 112. The bed is tiny. I'm 6'3" and there's just barely enough space for me, let alone my wife. The toilet is half the size of what it was in 112 and the toilet bowl is not anchored and you have a moving experience when you sit. The air-conditioner rattles and our complaint has yet to be acted on. We are from Sri Lanka and really looked forward to this holiday in NOLA. We booked for 4 nights and Quarter House Resort after being so good to us in the first two nights has suddenly decided to give us a rude shock with substandard treatment. One piece of advice — do not stay in room 111.

Parking is off-site. Not convenient for unloading and loading your vehicle. Otherwise the hotel itself is lovely and the staff is helpful.

Wonderful location! Great concierge who are helpful scheduling events for us. My only downfall was the lack of windows. The is a skylight and one stained glass window.

Beautiful place, staff very friendly and helpful. Parking is a hassle though, have to park at a remote garage for $25/day. Location is awesome so the parking was worth it for me, plus not everyone brings a car there. The building is obviously old, which is very cool and gives it a great identity, but lack of convenience for using the rolling carts for luggage was a hassle too. We had to wheel our luggage to the handicapped entrance, navigate thru a tight hallway, then the access to the elevator was very difficult to negotiate. Then we got to our floor, but before hitting the rooms, you have to take a few more stairs. So we left our stuff at the bottom of the stairs and had to take multiple trips. The front desk person told me if I waited a few minutes, she would have someone assist us but I declined because I dont mind a little extra work. The room was beautiful and had a lot of character, was definitely the most unique place I've stayed. However, we opened our windows and the window sill had a TON of dust on it and it just made us feel slightly unclean. Just made us question how thorough the staff was with the cleaning. We both really loved it, but those small things kept it from being a 5. Id still go again without question.

Great location and accommodations. Closed to restaurants, bars. 1 block off Canal and only a couple of blocks to Royal and Bourbon. Get a upper floor if possible — 1st floor windows view the street do not easy to leave curtains open to get sun, etc.

Always nice. Really nice people work here and they are always very good at accommodating a special request. One thing was the bench right outside the elevator on the 5th floor was missing. I did notice them on the other floors. We use that elevator because of a disability situation. Please put one back there.

Had a wonderful time at Quarter House. Staff is outstanding, especially Michelle at front desk. Went out of her way to find my husband's lost bag.

Exceeded my expectations. My room was quiet and I lived having a separate bedroom and living room suite and full kitchen. Everything sparkly clean and the staff is super friendly. Great location too, walk to the French quarters or up to Canal street to the business area.

Beautifully decorated amazing rooms. Besides the mouse problem (all throughout the French Quarter) our stay was amazing.

Great place to stay, Quarter House is right in the French quarter with easy walking access to most things. Clean rooms, plenty of towels, helpful staff.

I was thoroughly impressed with the Quarter House. A very nostalgic appearance and feel to New Orleans. This is either a former apartment building with tenants or a very well thought out hotel scheme which allows you to come and go as you please while having the ability to stay in and cook your own meal and have a few friends over. Very well located right next to Canal St. And two blocks from Bourban street. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Right in the middle of hundreds of restaurants and bars and walking distance to some of the more famous and beloved spots in the French Quarter. I highly recommend this place to all and I do intend on staying here in the future.

We stayed at this hotel and we had an amazing time. Our suite was spacious, decorated nicely and located in a quiet area within the hotel. The entire hotel was clean, the staff was professional, kind, and very helpful to us. They had a nice breakfast and walking tour scheduled for us all as well. I loved that they held our bags while we explored New Orleans for our first time. They offered tons of advice and are a top notched hotel. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. I would recommend an 11am or 12pm check out instead of the 10am time, but I understand how hard it can be to turn around rooms for their next guests.

Older buildings on edge of French quarter. Nicely maintained. Mostly time share.

Rooms are well appointed, period appropriate to the facilities, and surprisingly well appointed. Definitely not for those who want modern. The Chatre side of the facility can get a bit noisy, but if you wanted quiet you'd be taking somewhere other than the French Quarter, right?

We have owned a lockout (2 adjacent units) at the Quarter House for over 20 years. We have never had issues such as bugs or rodents as a couple of reviewers have reported! The units are plush, roomy and well appointed. We only had a problem once with the a. C. Which was resolved right away. Nice wine and cheese gatherings in the quaint courtyard are always great. This year we had a Halloween party next door at the Mahogany Lounge with entertainment and complimentary wine. We had a great time as we alway have over out 20 years of ownership.

Unique historic building in the quarter. We have found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Room setup is very nice with a large bedroom; sofa-sleeper in the living room — can't recommend the sofa-sleeper very highly, due to the thin mattress. Nice kitchen with the basic amenities you need to cook. Off-site parking is inconvenient, but to be expected in an historic location like this. The Quarter's attractions are easily walkable from here.

Absolutely loved it! Such a wonderful time while here celebrating our 33rd anniversary! Room was beautiful although a very soft bed, which we were not quite used to. Events at Resort well worth it! We stayed op top floor, room 507-B which is a studio room, facing front so we definitely heard the loud road noises late nights, blaring sirens, "crotch rockets ", bar next door, but hey — what's NOLA about anyways!

Great old fashioned resort. Only major drawbacks are the pool (all 600 sq. Ft of it) small kitchen and only one bathroom. But looking every minute of it to blocks from Bourbon Street.

We stayed at The Quarter House this past weekend. I have stayed in New Orleans plenty of times and have NEVER stayed in a place as beautiful as The Quarter House. It is very quaint, clean, spacious and the old new Orleans style is beautiful! The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We loved it so much, we wish we would've stayed longer! I highly recommend that when you go for a stay in New Orleans, you give the quarter house a shot. You will not be disappointed!

The rooms are decorated to a theme to reflect the history and elegance of New Orleans. Front desk is very helpful and knowledgeable about directions and other local information. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because some of the rooms could use some general maintenance but I habe stayed in much worse hotels while visiting this city that cost about the same, ado overall still a very good place.

Our room is everything we expected. The staff is very ffriendly and met all our needs quickly. Location is great, near to all sites or easy walk to local mass transit. Would highly recommend.

Love it and would have given 5 stars, but they sprung a room change on us COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED THE NIGHT BEFORE! Totally messed up our evening and the following morning. Nice location. Had to lower my rating. Not only did we have to change rooms unexpectedly, but the new room was probably the NOISIEST one they have. Faced the street and on the other side of the bedroom wall was an all night "gentleman's club. " Loud music could be heard through the wall, and loud people standing outside the entrance could be heard as late as 5:30 in the morning! My wife went and slept on the couch the first night. DO NOT be put in room 207! Finally, they have a free walking tour on Sundays which we tried to sign up for but were told it was already filled. Asked if we could be put on a waiting list and were told they would call us if there was an opening. Sunday morning came and the guide came out to the courtyard to recheck his list. There were now some openings which were filled by the wait list. We should have been the first on the list, but we had NEVER BEEN PLACED ON THE LIST AT ALL! Needless to say, we didn't get to go on the tour.

Stayed for one week March 3-10. Loved the location, staff very friendly and helpful, our room was very spacious. Kitchen was missing a few items which where replaced quickly, loved​ the courtyard very small but quaint. Nice walking tour on Sunday morning after the free continental breakfast. Tuesday Mardi Gras was ok. The windows in our room could use a good cleaning. The hot tub is very small never got to use it as it was always being used when we decided to use it. Would stay here again! First time to NOLA but not our last!

This is an edited review from 1 star. I experienced bugs in the room my first two nights. It was really stressful because they were huge and I didn't get any sleep. It was hard in the beginning getting in contact with anyone to help. The hotel eventually did come through and move rooms for us. The new suite is nice and clean and roach free so far. Therefore I upped my review. The General manager Nikki was very nice as well and she treated us to dinner.
