This historic place is beautiful beyond words. One step into the lobby and it's like you stepped back in time. The private courtyard is pristine and looks like it came right out of a Ann Rice novel. The staff are knowledgeable and willing to give you tips and places to visit. The other guests and staff are all warm and inviting. Our room is air conditioned perfectly and very clean. I love it here. Best hotel in the french quarter.

This was my first time visiting New Orleans; the Andrew Jackson hotel made this a very pleasant experience. Krystal was wonderful with our accommodations and Ryan was quick to bring extra pillows and towels when requested. All of the front desk staff made us feel welcome both entering and leaving the front office at all times. They also offer complimentary coffee and water in the lobby anytime, as well as complimentary croissants and beverages for breakfast each morning. It is truly a blast to the past, if you prefer modern style hotels this may not be the right fit for you however you will have a quiet nights rest in a comfortable setting. The room was a bit small but the decorative style is unmatched, and the chandelier was absolutely stunning.

The Andrew Jackson has a greayocation right next to Bourbon Street and minutes from Frenchman. The rooms are cozy, so if you are looking for a luxury room this may not be the place but the location is key and the service is top notch. I highly recommend a stay here if you plan on spending your time in the quarter. You may even get to experience a visit from a friendly ghost (See the history of the Andrew Jackson hotel).

We stayed here for 6 days and five nights. The staff was so friendly and kind. We had such a blast. We loved coming back to the hotel to retreat from the NOLA heat! We loved the hotel cat thats in the court yard, AJ. I would recommend staying here!

We loved our stay here! Perfect location & comfortable. Complimentary croissants every morning on a silver platter. Felt like a Southern Belle. Can't wait to return!

Great historical hotel stay & excellent staff! It's location's extremely convenient to most venues in the French Quarter. Aside from Wi-Fi, I wouldn't recommend it for people used to modern accommodations — no elevators for second level.

Older hotel in a GREAT location. The room was small but had everything you need. The service was great. A lot of history. Only a 5 min walk to everything you would want.

We loved this hotel so much! I should start by saying that if you're looking for the "grand hotel" experience with lots of ameneties and modern comforts (gym, continental breakfast, etc), this place is not for you. However, if you're looking for a really lovely, authentic New Orleans hotel experience, this is your jam. The place is really gorgeous and has a very historic feel to it. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, even the smaller one that a few members of our group stayed in. My sisters and I landed an upper corner room, which was so enormous, it even had a sitting room! They offer coffee/tea/hot chocolate/orange juice and warm croissants for breakfast in the morning, which you can either take in your room or in the amazing little courtyard out back. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The location is really perfect for French Quarter adventuring, too! Will definitely be a repeat guest the next time we're in town!

This visit was only a one night stay, but I will definitely be checking Andrew Jackson's room availability for my next visit. The comforter and pillows were really comfortable and the staff, especially Jasmine, was great. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar is right around the corner and Jackson Square is maybe 5 blocks away. Great place to stay.

Perfect for a weekend adventure in Nola! Great hotel staff, beautiful historic room. Comfortable. Only advice would be to serve a croissant or pastry instead of the dinner roll in the morning. They weren't very tasty. Changed it from 4 to 5 stars bc I'd go again and take my own croissant!

Good location in the centre of the city.

Fun, historical hotel. Our room was just one queen bed, as requested, but very small with a narrow staircase entrance. The front desk clerk, Jasmine, was extremely helpful, and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Expect the room to be antique, obviously. The location was absolutely perfect. The French quarter has a million restaurants and art galleries to choose from. Also, the haunted ghost yours which is right down the road was phenomenal! The hotels breakfast left much to be desired, but the staff was wonderful and it was a fun experience to stay in a haunted hotel.

There were four of us who stayed in a double bed room. Very cute decor, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, maintenance men were all friendly and helpful, and the location was great! However, you only get one croissant/glass of juice per person unless you specify more. We also didn’t receive the breakfast order form 2/3 nights we were there. You also have to pay for valet ($44/night) because there is no parking, and you’re at risk of being towed if you park on the street. The water pressure and hot water for showers was also non-existent. All in all, not a bad place to stay.

I stayed in the Cornstalk hotel next door 1 night and the Andrew Jackson hotel one night. The Cornstalk was much nicer, with more nice touches like gorgeous artwork and period furniture, etc. The bed in the Cornstalk was much more comfortable. The Andrew Jackson needs to be cleaned up better, saw dust all over everything and also saw trash bags piled up in the hallways outside our room. The room we stayed in was very plain, only the bathroom was nice. Also only one outlet in the entire room. They neglected to leave an ice bucket in our room, when I asked for one I was told they would call another hotel for one… kinda weird. So, this hotel, while historically interesting, is one to skip. Go next door for a much better experience.

I loved my stay at The Andrew Jackson Hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms made you feel as if you were taken back in time. The chandelier in my room was absolutely breath taking. If you're planning a trip to New Orleans, stay here!

Beautiful hotel just off of Bourbon street. Great service, very clean, and great price! Definitely recommend staying here.

Really cool place right in the middle of NO, only wish they had softer mattresses. The breakfast is really nice too.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are definitely dated, but interesting and clean. I wouldn't really recommend a stay to large parties because the bedrooms and bathrooms are small. My favorite thing about the hotel is its fabulous location and the free breakfast out in the courtyard.

Couldn't have asked for a better nights stay! Audoin DeVergnette was great as well everyone else we met. It was Quiet, Water and coffee available all day. Our room was beautiful. Not your cookie cutter plain Jane hotel. Great location in French quarter. This historical hotel gets my vote for my next stay in NOLA!

We stayed for 4 days. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed seeing them during our stay. Our rooms were cleaned, sheets were changed and the court yard was a lovely place to sit and hangout. The hotel is perfectly placed in the middle of all the french quarter happenings. When we come back, I would definitely stay there again.

Nice old building on excellent location, but service is not up to the price. Checking in felt weird, with a phone flirting girl behind the counter and no help with luggage. Wet linen took almost 2 hours to get replaced. Breakfast tea was served without hot water.

Location is very central, gorgeous old hotel. If you have a wide suitcase you might run into a little trouble carrying it up the stairs. Rooms are a good size and the bathrooms was large. Very friendly staff!

They didn't tell me about the $38 it would cost for mandatory parking, so I was a little mad about that. There was also a huge Roach in our room. The shower was a trickle, sacked. Wouldn't stay again.

I was visiting friends who were overnight guests. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel it self is an old building but it is clean and well maintained. I would stay there.

Cute hotel right smack in the middle of the French Quarter. This hotel has only 21 rooms. The staff here are wonderful. Location formally a boy's school and federal court house. And is rumored to be one of the most haunted hotels in New Orleans.

The staff was very attentive and helpful with places to see and places to eat even though we have been to new Orleans very often. The rooms were nice and comfortable average size room. They offer crosoants with a selection of fruit spreads and coffee and juices brought right to your room in the morning. Nice courtyard area from relaxing.

It's a wonderful "old skool" hotel. It's a historical building, so some modern convenience items are lacking. You can't always control the room temperature directly, and there aren't many electrical outlets. However, the staff is amazing, and walking into the interior courtyard to have morning breakfast with croissants by the fountain makes you feel like you been transported back 100 years. Annie is wonderful and will get you more juice, coffee and historical facts than you can ever want. As long as you can deal with the older infrastructure, it's highly recommended.

The location is awesome… we valet parked (15 blocks away) and walked everywhere. The staff was pleasant… the croissants, juice & coffee each morning was a treat. However, our room wasn't what I would call clean. Furniture was broken, walls had been repaired and no painted over the repairs, only 1 wall electric socket worked. There's more but you get the picture.
