The hotel is in a great location! The rooms were very clean and neat and the hotel service was very nice. Our only issue was when we called to have our car returned from the valet. We called about 20-30 minutes before we left our room so the car would be there when we got outside. It seemed like there was only one attendant working at the time and he had our key on his belt and told us he had not gone to get our car yet. After he helped 2 more guests that had arrived, he finally went to get our car. Our car arrived about 45 minutes after we called for it. That was the only sub par thing about this hotel.

Had a wonderful experience. They made special arrangements on short notice for an impromptu dinner for a large group. Gave me free appetizer too. Wait staff was on top of it without being intrusive. Door staff and reservation staff were always polite. The bell hop had my luggage in storage rapidly and my taxi to the airport without any time lapse. The only down was the room needed to be cleaner in the corners, and there were drops of paint on the tiled floor. Internet was slow on the free type they offered.

I recently stayed at the Omni Riverfront Hotel in New Orleans. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! My room was clean, quiet, and spacious. I fell in love with the bed and shower — they were a joy to return to after walking around the busy and warm NOLA streets. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely return.

Awesome staff Upon entering room toilet was broken, John Paul (front desk) immediately provide me with another room. Ren French (concierge) is the best. Provided me with all the best places to eat and and a snapshot of where to go and “fun “things to do. Paulette (housekeeping) the best! Very friendly and helpful with all our needs. Lastly bell boy Jamal made sure we were comfortable while waiting for taxis and just chilling in the lobby. The hotel was clean and bed was comfortable but a little older and can use some updates. The staff made the stay worthwhile. Thanks.

The first night at check in our clerk at desk was very unfriendly, but hey I figured it was late, so gave him a pass. All other clerks, so far have been nice and courteous. Our air conditioner in room did not work the first night. Our room keys continuously become deactivated. We were told how to keep cards from deactivating — however, we are aware to keep cards from cell phone and other magnetic strip/ credit cards, as we are all professional women and travel very often. We had to deal with being constantly traveling up and down elevator, being locked out of hotel @ early am hours, which was scary and dangerous for us women. At times it could be 1/or 1-2 traveling back to hotel at a given time. This afternoon alone I traveled up and down elevator over 4 times today alone, I got stuck in elevator unable to reach my floor because card, that was just reactivated, would not work. This almost cause one of our guests to be late to airport. We left for our day out and room keys became deactivated and needed fixed upon our arrival back. Never had hot water! We came back to room to find our room had been “cleaned “ but bed linen was not changed.

It's a great hotel. The breakfast is expensive but the place is really top!

Wonderful stay in New Orleans. Great facility and staff at the Omni Riverfront. We normally stay a little closer to the QTR, but plenty to see and do with great bars and restaurants in the area. Easy access to the hotel and speedy check-in/out. Thanks for a great stay.

Very nice even if it does not take the free Wi-Fi in the room.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Having been to NOLA many times in the past, I believe this is the nicest place I have ever stayed. I would stay here again. I also like the fact that it's away from the French Quarter so if that's your thing, you wouldn't want to stay here.

I came to the riverfront for dinner and drinks. The waiter was amazing, attentive, and sweet. The food was amazing and the manager was very kind. I would suggest the restaurant here.

Elegant hotel close to convention center. It is also an easy walk to the French Quarter and Garden district. Right across the street from the Riverwalk. Rooms are modern and well maintained. Reasonably priced for a centrally located big city hotel.

We stayed at the Omni Riverfront for a conference and fully enjoyed our stay. The staff is so welcoming and the accommodations are very comfortable — especially the bed. The food was great, location great and the friendliness of the staff is a cut above.

Excellent accommodations conveniently located right across the street from the convention center. The luxury would expect from an Omni Hotel. Excellent amenities, spacious accommodations and excellent service. Various restaurant and bar choices.

This is a very nice hotel. It's in an awesome location walking distance to the boardwalk, lots of restaurants, the convention center and the casino. The rooms were clean and high quality. The staff were very friendly. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was really nice. Decent walk to French quarter (15-20 minutes). Very convenient to WWII museum. Only negative was valet parking. They allowed my battery to die on my car leaving it unlocked and my new car was ransacked. Hotel reimbursed my valet costs.

Good hotel room experience overall! Hidden fees! I believe vehicle was taken on a joy ride that night. Weird voodoo type doll found in vehicle.

Its a nice place! Need microwave, better house cleaning service. We had none!. Overall score 90. It is not a riverview or river front hotel. Don't be deceived.

I stayed for a weekend. My room door (236) did not lock properly, notified service desk but issue was not corrected. Also, I left the room late one morning and returned that evening to see that my door had been left propped open. It was a blessing that none of my belongings were taken. Security was notified of this and gave me a hotel credit which I was not able to use for drinks because there was no bartender. It was a very frustrating experience. I definitely do not recommend this establishment and will not return there again.

I’ll have to first admit this hotel is very nice and the service is top notch. That being said I just had the worst experience here. I was here for a convention and the morning of my check out I woke up to a very bloated Bed Bug crawling on my neck. I quickly got up and killed it but then I noticed the bed was filled with red little bugs hiding in the folds of my bedding. I called the front desk and the manager came to take a look. His actions were non caring and said he would send big control and that’s it. After shaking off my clothes and packing I met him at the front desk but nothing was done about it. I was there 5 nights and comped 1 night for my troubles. Now I have to worry about bringing these bugs home. I have video and pictures if anyone one at Omni Hotel wants to discuss this any further.

The room was great and very clean. The price was a bit high even with the conference discount. However the location is fantastic.

An excellent hotel in New Orleans, a quality service, its facilities are very good and it is very close to the financial center, hotels, parks. Recommended 100%. Their balance between cost and benefit was perfect.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. This is more of a boutique hotel. I like it. Rooms are nice size, great beds, towels are fresh. All in all a great choice.

Great hotel with really nice rooms priced reasonably for New Orleans. Rated at 4 stars only because they lost water due to frozen pipes. They were so nice we could not complain. Would definately stay there again.

Only a block from the riverfront and located in the trendy "Warehouse District" Omni is near several famous, award winning restaurants. Near enough to stroll over to "The French Quarter". I like the design of the lobby and entrance a lot. It is on Convention Ctr. Blvd. So very convenient for our many groups with meetings. Riverwalk Mall Food court right across the street! Watch the ships, steamboat & fireworks there.

Conveniently located and has good comfort.

Nice. No complaints. Plenty of eateries in the neighborhood. Went on a cruise which was accessed across the street and through the mall lot (pictured from outlet mall) where our bags were picked up and loaded from ground level. Super convenient.

We had a great stay! All the staff was pleasant and helpful. The beds were so comfortable, and the room was spacious and clean.

Great location, beautiful hotel. Rooms getting slightly dated, but they’re clean and serve their purpose. — 1 Star for the WAY too expensive breakfast. $21 for continental breakfast?! No thank you.

Nice hotel. Very conveniently located. They upgraded me to one of the Loft rooms. It was very nicely furnished and well kept. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My fiance got a room here and I had a blast. My birthday weekend was amazing and the location is great walking distance for everything that she had planned. I dont want to stay anywhere else our next visit. Definitely a weekend to remember.

Stayed here for my birthday for 5 nights. The staff were helpful and really welcoming. The hotel looks stunning and the beds were super comfy. It's close to the French quarter, the casino and to all the transport links that you need. There are plenty of parking options available near the hotel.

I evacuated for hurricane Irma, everyone who works here is absolutely AMAZING! Everyone was so kind. The hotel itself was wonderful! Great size rooms, comfy beds, & the view! The hotel staff waived our pet fee. (which was such an act of kindness) I am planning to return to New Orleans & intend on staying with yiu again!

Very nice accommodating staff. Great location and very quiet. If you're looking to party and make noise, go to the W instead. Great room! Two story loft king.

I can honestly say that I will never stay anywhere else in New Orleans. I LOVED the Omni Riverfront. The quaint, boutique-style lobby and bar + the friendliest staff I've ever met = sheer perfection. Everyone was Just. So. Nice! And as sad as it may sound, some of my fondest memories of our trip were at the hotel bar It felt like family just hanging out there with the staff and other guests. (Plus, their BBQ shrimp was one of the best things I ate in New Orleans. No joke. ) We will definitely be coming back.

The service is excellent and the location is a little bit far from the main attractions but walking was just fine. The room itself was spacious but unfortunately ran into issues with the upper loft being too hot due to ventilation issues. Overall, great experience though.

Beautiful hotel. Have stayed two nights, so far. And it's been great. Relatively close to everything, if you don't mind a bit of walking. Very nice area. Directly across from the riverfront outlets. Staff is always friendly. Would highly recommend.

If you are going to the convention center this hotel cant be beat! The decor is lovely. I have a big issue with the bathroom doors. They are the barn door style that slide across, but they aren't flush to the wall and just kind of bang against the wall when you close them. There is little privacy for the person behind that door. Room 545 has plumbing issues. The toilet doesn't flush well, the sink and shower both drip. I called maintenance, but he just told me to turn the faucets harder.

Loved our stay! We were in the 2 level room and it was beautiful. The shower was amazing! Very close to the French quarter trolley stop and cruise terminal. Everyone was super helpful and nice! Will be back!

Our room was amazing… Huge space, comfy bed, a million pillows. Nice seatie area in the room complete with coffee maker, which is essential for me to function in the morning. Loved the shower, only wish it had more shelving and or a "stool" or footrest for shaving legs. Great location, within walking distance of the attractions we wanted — French Quarter, aquarium, WWII museum, etc. Staff was very courteous, warm, and genuine/sincere. I would absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here on Sunday night for our anniversary. Our suite was perfect! Valet parking was outstanding! Everyone was very nice and accommodating! We will be returning for future stays!

I honestly wouldn't have left a review but the service was terrible. The staff was polite, but the higher position staff (concierge) were rude and unhelpful. They made several mistakes concerning charging my card, which I was asked to come down to the desk late at night to resolve. Furthermore, I was bothered by house keeping during the day while I tried to take a quick nap in between sessions of my conference. Finally I ended up napping while they made up the room. I'm suprised they wouldn't just come back later. If you are looking to stay here because of its proximity to the convention center, I will say that it is very close. But don't expect nicer service than a low budget hotel. Do expect snobby service however. If you can stand to walk 15 minutes, I would suggest the whitney, where some of my colleagues stayed and loved.

We have found Omni Hotels can be trusted to give great service, no matter where we go; the Omni Riverfront is no exception. Located very near the action, they provide a pleasant, comfortable place to kick back. The rooms are spotless, and well maintained, as are all the Omnis we've stayed at. The thing I like best, though, is how the staff treats you; it's like you are visiting a friend.

Nice hotel with very nice rooms. The front desk worker was very kind and helpful. It was our second time staying there and we had a great experience both times.

This was the second time we have stayed here and we love the hotel. Check in was a breeze, the room was clean, the view was beautiful, and we enjoyed ourselves!

Nice hotel. Exactly as I would expect from an Omni. Only complaint would be that we were in town at the same time as a bowl game and the walls were thin. In other words, I woke up to drunk people slamming doors and stumbling in the hallway.

WOW service. The service from the check in desk to the bar tender, to the food and beverage manager (Edward) were just a delight to interact with during our two day stay at the Omni New Orleans. I would highly recommend visiting, most attractions are within a short walk from the hotel. The rooms were nice, clean, and sufficient water pressure in the shower.

Best concierge in New Orleans! This is my first Omni experience and will not be my last. The hotel is recently updated and is absolutely one of the best rooms in the heart of the city. Perfect distance from all places without the busy street noise (6th floor). In hotel Resturaunt was amazing! Can't wait to come back. Also, hotel managed high amounts of people efficiently because of St. Patrick's day and Buku Music Festival.

It was horrible. Had 2 pay 2 park at the hotel after spending $500 for our room. Then after paying upfront when we arrived, I get a bill slid under my door. After speaking with a manager, going back and forth, they finally realized it was paid. But then they didnt want 2 release my car bc they were not sure if it was paid. Never again will I come here. I dont care how much I have 2 pay else where.

Best Hotel in NOLA for the price! Stayed all over the city — this one has the quality of Ritz for 200 USD a night — best in the city IMO.

The concierge and staff were accommodating and friendly. The first night I arrived we were provided with assistance on finding great food to eat. The room was clean and comfortable for my friend and I. It is also in walking distance to the outlet mall and French Quarter. We were able to walk to the amazing restaurants NOLA has to offer and ride the trolley on Canal St. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It's close enough to the French Quarter, but far enough that you can get a good night sleep. Will say here again.

Wyndham Riverfront, is not a high rise hotel, there is no view of the riverfront as suggested by the name of the hotel. We had friends staying at the Marriott on Canal Street, which is in such a great location and the rooms have a grand view of the Mississippi river, unlike the Wyndham. Our bookings were made way ahead of time, but when I checked in, they told me that I had already checked in. After some discussion, they gave me the key to the room, where there was a bridal party going on. We had to go back and forth with the front desk and manager, after which I was given another room. The hotel is going thru renovations, so there is no lobby, we were not told about the continental breakfast, while some of our friends knew about it. Wyndham needs to update their reservation software system, so that they can track the reservations made and not goof up as they did in my case. Too pricey for what it as to offer. Hotels on Canal Street are any day better. Sorry Wyndham.

The staff at the Wyndham Riverfront were exceptional! When I needed to check in early following a flight (I was vomited on), they were sympathetic and found a way to get me into a room to take a shower as quickly as possible. That room was slated for renovations, so when I switched rooms they were able to place me in one of the newly renovated rooms, which was very nice. Since renovations were underway in the hotel, they provided free breakfast for all of the guests. I commend the staff for their hospitality, and I would recommend this hotel if you will be in the area for a conference, business, or vacation.

Bar and restaurant closed indefinitely, no notice when booking the room only upon check-in with a "so sorry, here's a free breakfast. " Terrible TV reception. Looks even worse on an HDTV. $4 for a single can of soda (room service). No pantry for snacks. Vending machines do not accept credit cards. Probably still accepts susan b Anthony coins though — not sure.
