Awesome room, great location.

We reserved 4 suites together months ago for this weekend only to arrive and be told we only go two suites and two regular rooms and they are scattered all over the hotel. Tried calling guest services from the room was always busy. Went to front desk to ask for an ice bucket only to have someone from guest services arrive with an ice bucket liner full of ice. This place has gone to the dogs. Would not recommend to anyone!

We left yesterday around 2:00 pm. The valet parking staff was very helpful. They were working hard. We needed their assistance getting bags in the car. They went above and beyond to help us.

Parking needs bitters staff and for what your paying in parking it should have security on it.

The street is closed to access the hotel and not knowing how to get to it was terrible. Called prior to stay to ensure everything and never mentioned you had to pay to valet park. Plus promised to shuttle to the cruise line. Checked in and they let us know the shuttle was full. Might want to mention all these things when people call. Most disappointed I’ve ever been. Paid a lot to stay here and pay for extra parking to be disappointed completely with entire experience. Came with group and recommended hotel due to what was promised and now all of us will be walking. A lot of money that won’t be given to this property again.

The accommodations were great and the staff took good care of us. 5 minute shuttle to our cruise ship.
Then there was a great continental breakfast that was available from 6 to 10. Western omlette was very good.

This place is beautiful and spacious. The walk up to check in desk looks amazing. The young lady Kaila who checked my daughter & I very helpful to us NYers. Our room looks just as you see it on the sites. The breakfast, diy belgium waffle irons! Make it a must to come down for breakfast is all I'll say about that. I can't forget that at check-in you get a ticket for a bogo free drink at the bar. When we get off the ship, we're coming back before we head back to the airport.

We were so impressed with our stay here! The suites were amazing! The large breakfast area made the start to our day enjoyable. Many good food selections on the buffet. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Totally loved my stay! The staff was so awesome. Now wherever I travel the first thing I am going to do is see if there is a Hampton Inn and Suites there.

I had a wonderful experience, the staff was great helpful kind and respectful. The concierge with the most healthful during the duration of my stay.

They really take care of their quest and have a wonderful real breakfast with a whole lot of variety!

Upon leaving the hotel we were told by an employee to go back in and pay for our room. We paid cash when we checked in and since they have stellar accounting skills they didn’t have any record of it. EDITED:
We were contacted by management and given a full refund for our stay. It was unexpected but greatly appreciated.

This hotel truly presents the taste of NO. Frenchie ambience, clean aire lobby, updated rooms, to meet your friends, for coctails, conversation, a dance. Great experience!

EVERYTHING… From being Square in the middle of downtown, four blocks away from the French Quarter… to all of the friendly staff including the counter, the breakfast Nook people, the room service and the valet parking was just absolutely top-notch.

Fantastic staff, comfortable rooms, very spacious, everything looks new. I will definitely rate this hotel with 5 stars.

Beautiful rooms great and helpful staff very friendly. I forgot ro add that my wife stiil took up rhe whole ling size bed… loved and enjoyed my entire time there. Keep up the good work. Front desk were awesome couldn't have asked for anything better day and night shift…

Everyone was smiling, friendly, courteous, helpful and every professional. Breakfast was awesome Rooms are nice size clean walls are almost noise free, the front door and adjoining room door are fairly thin let's a lot of noise in. Free drink for all quest 21 and over at their bar. Close to a lot of stuff plus street cars take you everywhere you wanna go. Do walk over to aunt Sally's pralines a few blocks down. Regular is better than creamy to me. They sell other things too. Best Hotel we've stayed at.

Nice hotel, friendly folks, breakfast is good actual breakfast food… not just a bagel and a cup of juice. 24 hour coffee bar. There is a bar just off the lobby. Valet parking and not far from anything… a great place reasonably priced.

If you're wondering where you should stay if you don't want to be right in the middle of the New Orleans craziness (that I totally loved) this is the place for you. The staff is kind and very accommodating. My room was beautiful, high ceilings (a converted factory) and all the colors and furniture are very nice too. We had a room with a very large water jet tub. It was great. Also the breakfast that's available was exceptional and not bare bones like a lot of hotels have. The hotel is also located across the street from a very nice park. My experience was really nice. If I had to say one thing? The pool was a lot smaller than appears in the photos but clean and very well maintained.

Loved this place. They did a great job saving a New Orleans landmark. The hardwood floors in the lobby are original from 1909. Lots of history. Friendly staff, great breakfast and reasonably priced drinks at the bar. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Be sure you stay on the warehouse side. Such an amazing building given a second chance. Kudos to Hampton/Hilton.

This hotel was everything a Hampton should be… accommodations were as expected, staff were courteous, helpful and professional. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had all the varieties… I particularly liked the waffle station set up… there were 3 waffle makers, each had a saints emblem — unique touch. Waffle syrup was in squeezable bottle for less waste. Other Hamptons should use this same set up if possible.

I was in town to attend an awards ceremony where my 18 y/o disabled son would receive first place in the US for one of his short films. Let me start by saying it can be tricky travelling with him. He doesn’t do well when things don’t go as planned, so when we arrived to find a mix-up with our reservation, my heart sank. The staff behind the desk huddled for a moment then told us to leave our luggage and go have dinner while they prepared a room. We returned to find an enormous suite ready for us, with a full kitchen, dining table, living room, dressing area, giant bathroom and a bedroom with two queen beds, all graced by 20 foot ceilings – surely valued at over twice the price of the modest room we had originally booked. In addition, we were given two bags of complementary drinks and snacks for the kitchen and four complementary drink tickets for the bar downstairs by the pool. (My son being but 18, I was “forced” to use them all myself, ha-ha. ) As fabulous as the hotel is – from its gorgeous lobby areas, the scrumptious breakfast spread, the charming pool area and large downstairs gym, to its historic warehouse exterior — the best thing about this Hampton Inn is its staff. Every one of them was kind, helpful, efficient and funny. I heard not one complaint from anyone during our entire stay. Not one. And I’d like to give a particular shout-out to a staff member named Rae who went out of her way to make my son feel special – even downright famous – throughout our stay.

One of the best Hampton Inn hotels of all that I've visited. Prior to my arrival I received a text message from the hotel asking if it was okay to upgrade my room. I accepted and was allowed an early check-in. The suite was nice and clean, with a kitchenette. The room included separate dining and sitting areas. I liked the room. The breakfast spread was nice. Some Hampton Inn hotels tend to have fewer options for breakfast, but this hotel had it all. Be aware though that this hotel gets busy so the breakfast gets busy too. The location is a bit away from the French Quarter. It's walkable if you are comfortable walking about a mile. Otherwise I recommend a car service for a short trip. I've done both depending on the time of day and where I was going. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I also received several text messages during my stay checking in on me. This hotel did seem to have more families than I usually see. But again, no issues. I recommend this hotel to those visiting the French Quarter area. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Enjoy!

Hotel in the center of the city. Restaurants, shopping center, station, bus stops, port for cruises all at your fingertips. Reception friendly and average assistance. From the airport to the Hotel I took advantage of the UBER service which compared to alternative means cost me much less. Also easy access to all means. Cost $38, 00.
Clean Hotel, many rooms and spacious.

Staff is exceptionally nice and provide great customer service. Full breakfast, quick service when needing assistance, we could not have chosen a better hotel. We were here for DMI Dance Competition and the other parents complained about their service and how the rooms are overrated and overpriced at the Sheraton. I told them my stay have been outstanding here. The pool area is relaxing and the Park across the street is a great place for a stroll. I’ll definitely be back!

This room was sooooo big and the hotel is in a nice location right next to the convention center. With a $6 uber you get to Bourbon street and all other hotels, restaurants and you can walk to Masquerade casino and the outlet mall is like 5 min walk. The hotel has a great complementary breakfast with a eggs, sausages, fruits, muffins, waffles, breads, tea, coffee, juice etc. I think this has been the best complementary breakfast I have had so far. They have a min store of you want ice cream snacks and other small stuff. I CANT recommended this hotel enough. You can see the room has high ceilings, a king bed and a bed sofa so great for a family or even a couple of friends. Has two vanities, I could go on and on about how nice the hotel was and also affordable when you consider the service and the room.

Right across from Entrance G (I think! ) of the convention center. Great staff, which is always true at a Hampton Inn. Hotel is made out of two old warehouses joined by an atrium. Neat place. Only down side — — it's about 1 mile from the restaurants and French Quarter, so it's a bit of a walk. But, I found it quite easy to get Lyft rides immediately.

Fabulous place, and couldn't be a more ideal location if you're going to the convention center (across the street). The suites are spacious with super-high ceilings and a great balance of historic charm with modern decor. Staff have been great, even followed up by text to make sure everything was going ok. Everything is in great shape and pristinely clean. Love the bar and restaurant on-site, and the pool is great for cooling off.

Very impressed with the free breakfast buffet. The food was delicious and there was a nice variety. I also thought the staff were friendly and informative. It was not but a couple minute uber or trolley ride to the French Quarter which made for almost too easy of access. I would definitely reccomend a stay with them if you are visiting New Orleans.

The front desk lady was so rude and disrespectful towards my group. We paid for parking and yet they wanted to charge us double! When brought to her attention she got a nasty attitude towards us. We had receipts and yet she still had a nasty attitude. This is one of the reasons I refuse to stay at places like this. And paying over $300 per night is stupid. I will never ever stay at your hotel ever Again! I will also be talking to my company and this hotel is not going to be getting our business! Your going to lose over $5000.00 per month! Learn to treat your guests with Respect and Compassion!

The location is great and close to shopping to site seeing. The rooms are small but very nice. The staff is not overly friendly or welcoming, but overall it's a nice hotel.

Good hotel. Comfortable with friendly atmosphere. Strategically located in front of the Convention center. Clean, attentive staff. There is a large and varied buffet breakfast but the food is not very good, no restaurant service at other times, no mini bar. As an advantage the rooms have a fridge (empty) and a microwave. You can buy snacks at the front desk. The hotel has parking and a swimming pool.

Large comfortable rooms, located directly opposite convention Center and a 10-minute walk from the French Quarter. Very nice hotel with great lobby, but the most cruel "breakfast buffet" ever. Coffee was, however, edible.

This hotel is very clean and family-friendly with a wonderful complimentary breakfast. We had an unfortunately rainy Saturday but felt cozy down in the expansive lobby where we enjoyed our books with the complimentary hot tea/chocolate and coffee. The pool was lovely during the first night too, and my husband and I like the Old Fashion the bartender made us. The kids played in the pretty pool courtyard while we relaxed on cozy loungers. Even the fitness center was decent for a quick workout. There are countless positive memories I’ll carry of this place.

OMG, this is a hidden gem… I Loved Love love this hotel… The accommodations where excellent. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is helpful and friendly, (thank you Sebastian for all of your help. ) The breakfast, OMG just wonderful. Will definitely book again and again…

Nice hotel. Location is great if you are cruising out of the port or attending an event at the convention center. Be prepared to walk if you want to visit the casino or the french quarter. The accomodations were decent, fridge in room and a great view. The hotel provides a pretty good free breakfast. Staff was friendly… valet parking only. I would stay again.

The best part was how nice the valet/bellman was. Been having issues with this place since trying to reserve my room since January/February and they still messed up. If it wasn't for my sister getting married I wouldn't stay there but I'm here and unfortunately all other hotels close by are booked. Will never stay again and will tell others to stay away. They double booked my room and it's just a whole mess. And for the price I could def use some more room. The rooms are small and not worth the price and this $45.00 a night to park is so crazy it's unbelievable. I can understand for the whole stay but a night. And the staff didn't seem to concerned from the beginning that they messed up our reservations so wasn't expecting them to care now. Save your money and go elsewhere. Oh and this so called Queen bed looks like a full size.

Very clean, comfy beds, complementary breakfast. It is very cheap for being so close to the French Quarter. The only down side is that they charge almost $40 for over night parking, otherwise you are on your own in finding parking for your car.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The food and staff were wonderful! And being in the warehouse district you were just far enough away from the French quarter but not too far to walk to everything. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean, the whole place was great! If you want to know anything for where to go ask the concierge, he was great! If you are going to New Orleans state here you won’t be disappointed!

The rooms are comfortable. I can not get over how great the hotel looks. It has a very modern interior and great old urban look. The building looks like it's an old warehouse or factory. Unfortunately, you must park your car in valet, which is super expensive. The valet drivers are rude. I stopped using the valet and found free parking across the street from the hotel. Literally across the street there is free parking. It is crazy how close I am to the hotel and I can park my car. The valet attendants keyed my car and I refused to park my car in their garage. So once I realized that there is free parking right across the street I took my car out and parked across the street. The front staff are rude and are not friendly. The last time I checked, Louisiana is in the south and I am not feeling the southern hospitality. The only reason I'm not giving the hotel fewerystars is Becca the housekeepers work hard the seem to put the guest first and ate genuinely wonderful people. I appreciate all that they did to make my 5 night stay wonderful.

Nice hotel located right next to the convention centre. Some staff were rude at the check in desk. Breakfast could have been better with the open plan layout. Rooms are ok and functional.

The people here are very friendly. This place is super clean from the lobby to the rooms. Love that they have refreshing lemon and cucumber water in the lobby and coffee 24/7. The breakfast buffet was also good. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything, from service, atmosphere, and location were great. Breakfast, free and excellent selections. Only complaint is the beds. Not comfortable, long time before water heated up, loud sounds when flushing. We were on the fifth floor, so I get the water issue. We were offered another room but we had already unpacked from a long trip. Concierge is the man you want to see. He was glad to show us what to do and discounts offered by hotel. Before you go anywhere, go see him! Bellman were so sweet and entertaining. Made us laugh, while keeping it professional. Everyone made us feel welcome. Was worth the value, service and those little things, that make you want to come back. Thank you!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfy. Location is good, very close to the Quarter and some excellent restaurants within walking distance.

A great place to stay. The valets were very nice. Obie was extremely helpful. The rooms are pretty big even for a family of 5. The only downside was finding picky-kid-friendly restaurants within walking distance.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Very comfortable bed. Spacious and clean and nicely decorated room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Special extra credit and thanks to T. C. Perry, who stayed past his leaving time on Christmas Eve to help us organize our activities and book reservations for the week. Thank you so much Mr. Perry! We had an amazing stay and will definitely stay here again next time we're in New Orleans.

Stayed here over Xmas holiday, decorated Beautifully! The breakfast is amazing, fresh fruits, Belgian waffles, eggs or premade omelets, hot oatmeal, etc. The hours of 6-10 am are great. It was crowded a little but not crazy, staff very helpful about keeping everything freshly stocked. Room was clean & not musty, bathroom exhaust fan worked well (a big plus for steamy showers). One elevator was out of service but not an inconvenience. Our only negative was parking. You have to either use valet at $39.99/day, or find street parking (mostly metered but some around the corner weren’t metered). Wi-Fi worked well. Fitness center is adequate & clean, fresh fruit is a nice plus! Right across from the giant convention center. Very nice hotel & staff.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times and everytime has been wonderful. The location is amazing, right by everything. They have one of the best continental breakfasts I've ever had. Rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is always super nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. We definitely love to stay here when we can find a good deal!

Service was quick. Rooms were the standard Hampton inn quality. You are a 5 minute walk from a bunch of restaurants in the warehouse district. However all the other hotels are clustered around the food. They have a shuttle to the cruise terminal.

Beautiful hotel right next to the convention center. While all the rooms are nice, the ones in the old warehouse section are especially charming. And spacious! Friendly staff, nice bar area, and good breakfast options. Would definitely stay here again!

A little expensive but very good care.

Great service, and nice place. Big free breakfast and a small store with a few things in case you forgot something. Nice pool and patio outside. Has a bar open on evening's. I had a wonderful 6 day stay.

I was in NOLA for a business convention from Sept 13 — 17, 2017. I had an absolutely WONDERFUL TIME in NOLA. But, by far the best experience for a HOT, FRESH, MOUTHWATERING breakfast with HOT coffee all day long… was at the Hampton Inn & Suites Convention Center! The price was GREAT considering my meetings/trainings were being held at the convention center, located right across the street. I did not have far for my meetings, and when I DID go, I was full from the fantastic breakfast I ate before leaving. I spoke with one of the ladies who was replenishing and keeping everything fresh, to tell her Thank You. She was very sweet and friendly. Her name is Shirley and another lady who talked with me, is Anita. BOTH were very nice and seemed to enjoy their job and knew alot about their city. As a traveler who is visiting on business, it's good to know where to go from people who know where to go. I HIGHLY recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites Convention Center.

Beautiful hotel that is in an old historic warehouse near the convention center. Kudos to Hampton Inn for reusing such a cool building. I was blown away by how nice my room was. Standard Hampton Inn breakfast offering which was expected. In mid September, which is a slow time in New Orleans, I had no problem parking at meters within a block of the hotel at night and did not have to pay for valet.

Great hotel, variety of room options. Huge lobby and breakfast area, easy to find a seat and relax. Free breakfast was pretty good. Valets were great, fast and professional.

This hotel was nice, but I thought it was really strange that they did not have any food on site other then breakfast, with it being SO close to the convention center there aren't a lot of food options around. But they do have a bar! We did have to ask several times for more blankets for the sofa sleeper. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

Great property across the street from the convention center in the warehouse district. The hotel is in an old remodeled Warehouse and has a great style inside and out Rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Great food within walking distance. Walking around at 9pm and I never felt unsafe. Breakfast was filling but nothing special. First time in the warehouse district. Wife and I agreed we both preferred that area over the older properties we've stayed at near the French quarter. Started there because of the great price compared to the French quarter and now we have found a new favorite.

Does not look like your typical hampton inn. Lobby is gorgeous. Rooms are very spacious. Only complaint for the while stay was that the duvet/blanket combo was too heavy and dropped to the floor at night. Staff was great!

The hotel is decent, it's located near most of the attractions in New Orleans. I've stayed there before, this time, however, they are doing renovations in the main lobby. As of writing this review it's June 2016, if you are sensitive to strong smells from varnish etc. I would avoid it for now. It's just in the Lobby and I would expect everything to be completed by July 2016 and be back to normal.

Older Building but had lots of Character. Room was clean and Service was friendly. Valet Parking staff was very friendly and helpful. The inside construction was annoying in the lobby area but … they have to do it sometime… I realize that. Great place to stay!

Very nice hotel. Great breakfast. Updated rooms. There is a pool.

It was actually my first time there and the hotel was really nice. I spoke with the front fest clerk briefly and they was very helpful, valet was phenomenon and everyone greeted you with a smile. Very impressed.

The staff was pretty good as well as the breakfast. Getting in and out of the hotel was awkward at first but not a biggie. Parking was nonexistent and you had to pay quite a bit for valet.

Hotel room was immaculate. Hotel was renovating so there were some minor inconveniences otherwise awesome place.

Rooms were very new, and still smelled like fresh construction. Bright side us that everything was very clean and looked very nice. The front of the hotel was a little difficult to find at first, but otherwise easy to navigate. The continental breakfast was pretty standard for this size hotel. The staff was a little cranky, but can be understandable considering we stayed over Mardi Gras. Overall our stay was very enjoyable, but not outstanding.

Got upgraded to a suite and have a wonderful room. Free wi fi and really conveniently located near the conference center, it is a nice place to stay.

Location was great, and the room was spacious. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Staff was courteous, especially the valets. Previously stayed in the Garden District Hampton, but I actually think we preferred this one. Accommodations just as nice, but this was easy walking distance to the French Quarter, museums, etc.
