This is my first time ever posting anything other than a positive review for Hampton, or any business. I’m so flustered by this experience I want to share. My daughter is at Ft Polk. She lives on base and is pregnant and this weekend was going to be the big gender reveal. Last week I went online to BOOKING. Com and made a reservation for both my parents and I. Two rooms, both for three nights each. We were going to be checking in Thursday 1/23. On Tuesday 1/21 my daughter called me upset as the army is sending her to South Carolina on 1/23 and as hard as she tried, there was no getting out of it and the big celebration would have to be cancelled. I called Hampton on 1/21 and briefly spoke with the manager, Amy. She said I would need to call Booking. Com to cancel. I called BOOKING and they advised that it’s the hotels discretion as to what the cancellation charge, if any, will be. The representative put me on hold and called Hampton and also spoke with the manager Amy. Amy advised that it’s their policy not to refund any of the charges and they would be charging my card for the full six nights. When the rep returned she said “honestly I can’t believe it, I am going to have someone else call and try to explain your story and how the army is sending your daughter out of state and why they should reconsider. ” The second rep called and spoke to Amy and once again, Amy didn’t budge. I’m just devastated over this.

Clean establishment very nice staff. However the pool is green. We had to go to the holiday inn express and use their pool.

My family and I were expecting to arrive into town today to celebrate our family reunion and our Fathers 80th birthday. At present, all flights have been canceled into NOLA due to potential hurricane (as my family and I would’ve flew in from LAX). Bummer right? To add injury to insult (not being able to visit with my family or my father) Hampton Inn has refuse to give me a refund or a gift certificate/credit for another stay. I have talked to several on site mangers at Hampton Inn and one manager sarcastically asked, ‘if it was possible to still fly in’? I’m not asking for a refund due to my lack of responsibility. My family and I were told by the FAA to reschedule our flights as NOLA prepares for a possible Hurricane! I would like to speak with someone in corporate regarding this matter. I’m throughly perturbed at the level of customer service and lack luster compensation for such disasters. My prayers are with the people in NOLA!

We enjoyed our stay here. Beds are very good and comfortable. Breakfast is great and has a nice selection. We will stay here again.

Let me start by saying we stayed here back in 2016 and loved it. It clearly has gone downhill from there. Upon entering our room we noticed it didn’t have a bathtub. As we have a young toddler to bathe we called and asked if we could move to a room that would accommodate our needs. The concierge very rudely and shortly said “ugh no no you’re stuck. That’s a king room they all have showers and I can’t (more like don’t want to) move you. Knowing we were staying at another Hampton soon, I called them to see if they could switch our room. A cheery helpful voice said “of course no problem! ” Which proved even more the Leesville associate just plain didn’t want to be bothered. So knowing I’m stuck I go into the bathroom and open up the shower door. Wall to wall mold. I went down and spoke to the lady at the front desk (Amy) and she very quickly took to a defensive “that’s caulking”. Ahem. 1 — customer service etiquette says if a customer asks for something they are paying for to be cleaned… you do it. 2 — caulking I would get IF if was just around the edges. Or even if it we raised like a sloppy handyman just got it everywhere and didn’t clean it up. Clearly this isn’t the case. I’m pretty sure I’m old enough and experienced enough to know that it’s nasty. But instead of doing her job, again she just wanted to be combative and argue. The breakfast bar was fully stocked with over ripe black bananas and apples wrapped in plastic wrap (that makes the fruit turn into rubber).

Very poor customer service. At around 11AM Sunday, August 19, I made reservations here because my Dad was in the ICU in Leesville. About an hour after making the reservation, my sister called to let me know that Dad was being transferred to Alexandria. I immediately canceled the reservation and called to let them know why. They insisted that I would still have to pay for the entire 5 days stay since I "didn't cancel in time". Granted, the normal cancellation cutoff is 4PM. I explained again that my dad was transferred to another hospital and the desk clerk insisted that I bring in his hospital admittance paperwork in order to get a refund of points and dollars. I guess this hotel has never heard of HIPAA and is not familiar with Hilton's policies. One quick call to Hilton corporate resulted in an apology on behalf of this hotel because their request was not in line with corporate policy. All points and money was refunded by corporate. I do not recommend the Leesville Hampton Inn and will not book with them for future visits to the area.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Basically just robbed me of $200. I booked thru Hilton Honors and checked thru my app. However we didn’t make it in on Friday night and arrived Saturday to find that our reservation was canceled but they couldn’t refund any of my money. It’s HH responsibility to do that. But HH had already sent Hampton the money. Blah blah blah. They could’ve at least put me in my room. Instead wanted to rent me a room at a higher rate and me pay more. I’ll be coming to Leesville a good but I won’t bother attempting to stay here again.

Bar not bad, Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast is not bad, decent lobby, comfy rooms, great workspace set up. No recliners or sofas-bed is super comfortable but they will report you for having sex too loud, bathroom is okay, but its right by the door so if you have sex in there everyone will hear you out in the hall, decent pool set up, typical friendly underpaid staff. Luz, the front desk girl is awesome! She was articulate, friendly, and knowledgeable. Makes you feel like you made the right choice. She definitely needs a raise.

I spend 250+ nights/year in hotels, and this has to be the worst Hilton brand hotel I have ever stayed at. do not eat the breakfast. For the love of god do not eat it. Every single morning the breakfast had ants, EVERYWHERE. Every single morning I would tell the staff and they would just say "oh ok". Absolutely disgusting, and this place should not be allowed to serve food to anyone. The rooms are decent, but my room had trash left in it from the previous guest. The pool at the hotel was not clean, though people still swam in it. The staff lacked the knowledge to sell an item from the store without charging it to a room. I would recommend the Motel 6 down the street if you want something a little more upscale than this hotel.

I always stay at Hampton, so I may be a little bias… but this is one of the better ones. The rooms have been updated, and the room I received was really clean! The breakfast was really good with a lot to pick from. The area is kept clean during the breakfast hours. I will recommend this hotel to family who come in.

If you are staying here as a DOD contractor, you MUST bring a copy of your orders. Period. I heard this before I came out here, so I was not surprised when they asked. Presented my orders, got the govt rate. If you don't have orders, don't roll the dice.

My room was clean and the bed was super comfy. We didn’t eat breakfast but it sure smelled good! We will stay again on future trips back home.

Ok, so I waited 3 days to write this review so I would have a clear mind and not review this hotel out of rage. Our stay at this Hampton was By far the worst we had in a while. We stayed at two diff hotels while we were in leesville la. One was 60 dollars and and the other was 160 a night. There was not much difference in the 2 rooms. Staff was very polite at each hotel, and they were both (ok) clean. So, now for the bad. We had a chair in the Hampton inn that looked to be punched or whatever, but it was damaged to non repair. When I sat in the broken chair, I did cut my back. When I spoke with the employee behind the desk and informed her of what happened, she just replied oh. The other issue we had was with the tub in the living room. My wife was soaking in the tub relaxing when the tub and lights went out. Ok, no problem, we just called the front desk and informed them of the situation. Not only did no maintenance show up, we 2 different employees in our room trying to figure out was the problem. My wife was not dressed nor wanted to be disturbed after a long day of traveling. We did not pay there prices to be bothered by these problems. After about an hour of them troubleshooting and tearing our room apart to find the problem, it was simply a tripped fuse at the end of the hall. Which we had suggested in the beginning. Why the Hampton inn policy is to send a desk clerk to do Electrical maintenance work is beyond me. I think that Procedure needs to be Amended.

Great staff and wonderful rooms. Got the best sleep ever since being on the road.

Reserved a room here at per diem rate as I had to travel here as part of my work for the federal government. Upon arrival, I was informed that this hampton inn did not honor per diem rate for contractors. At that point I attempted to cancel my reservation so I could find another hotel that would be within the rate, however because I was not informed of the price change until I showed up at the front desk, I could not switch because of their 48 hour cancelation policy.

The service was excellent. The facility was cle an and well maintained. The front desk staff was professional. I will definitely visit again.

I would have given a 5-star but I was so looking forward to taking a bath upon my arrival and was very dismayed when I walked in the room to find that there was only a nice roomy shower. As usual Hampton Inn is one of the best hotels hands down.

Very clean rooms. The staff was very personable and professional. I received a courtesy call a couple of days before my stay to confirm if I needed anything at check-in. I was very pleased with my stay.

If your looking for a hot shower? For get about it. Luke warm at best. Great staff but terrible shower/bath. Been there a month and their still waiting for the plumber. Apparently they think running the hot water will make it hotter? Lol!

Best hotel in Leesville, it's you typical Hampton Inn, but they take good care of you, the rooms are well appointed and clean. Pool, hot tub, washing machines on site, withing walking distance of a great Mexican restaurant.

Was very disappointed in the way they handle themselves concerning cancellations. I travel a lot and exclusively use Hampton Hotels. Normally even though some hotels have stricter policies than others they will work with me because how often I stay and the sudden changes that can happen with my schedule. Such was the case here. I called by 8 am of the day of arrival which I admit was against their policy, but as I told them I could see if it were noon or later and asked if they would work with me. This is where I stay every time I'm in town. Even Hilton Honors tried to speak with them and they wouldn't listen. I will not go back here unless they refund this stay. Your loss!

The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean, and the staff was nice. Breakfast was good… standard continental. Easy check-in and checkout. I will stay there next time I am in Leesville.

Nice room but had to call about tub faucet & Wi-Fi. Great breakfast.

The clerk wasn't very nice at check in. Once we got in found out we had no hot water. My daughter contacted front desk stated we will get maintenance to look at it in morning and no more rooms are available. The parking lot was not filled up. My other daughter in her room she had no ac she asked for fan she contacted front desk stated no rooms are available we will get maintenance tool both rooms in morning… she paid well over 100.00 night. For poor quality service.

Great customer service. Exceptional staff. Lindsey and Tiffany are at the front desk to help you out and greet you with a smile and by your name. Eileen is there to greet you with your breakfast. She knew I was fond of blueberry yogurt and helped me find one each morning! H. K. Of housekeeping left some timely encouraging notes. Thank you all! See you next month!

We stayed three nights. The front desk people were so friendly and greeted is every time we walk to in or out. Housekeeping as well checking to see if we needed anything. Breakfast excellent and facility was so clean. Room nice and roomy.

The hotel was very nice, but we had to wait a while for our room because the lock was broken.

The room and the breakfast were very nice but the front desk manager has no clow how to do her job, because me and my Wife specifically asked twice that if you guys have anything special for tonight she said no but when we did the checkout the next day she was like ohh my bad I should have told you guys about the " special room with hot tub and all kinda cool things" on the other side when we checked in we told her that if it's possible we could do the late check out at 12pm she said no problem you can do it but the room service lady nocked my door 3 times before 12pm and woke us up asking room service, room service, room service I was keep telling her we have late check out but she was keep coming and bothering us so looks like the MANARGER has no idea how to do her Job while people paying big money for their first night of those marriage… by the way that manager name was Stephanie.
