It's a wonderful place to stay and its hospitality is wonderful.

A good quality reasonably priced hotel away from the crowd of the casinos but still close enough to the casinos to enjoy gambling. The hotel also has bus service to the casinos which makes everything very convenient. The included breakfast is always good to get your day started.

Clean room, hotel, & every aspect of the hotel. Great customer service, reasonably priced, great value for your money. Breakfast was fresh and tasted great. Our room was big, clean, soft bed, & all the imenites where there. Will definitely use Resident Inn again & recommend it to anyone.

Great hotel, l but needs more parking. Was able to get a spot every time I needed but was close a few times.

Everything was great. Clean. Pleasant. Friendly. But parking was horrible. Either get more parking or check the parking lot and make ppl park correctly.

Extremely friendly staff, comfortable room, spacious bathroom, and most of all very clean. Our room had a two burner stove top, full fridge, dishwasher, breakfast counter, pull out couch, TV, and bed. If you're staying for an extended amount of time they have plenty of drawers to put your belongings away. If you're traveling through you will feel comfortable and will be able to relax.

Amazing hotel! The room was very modern, had a big bathroom, a kitchenette and a very comfy bed! The complimentary breakfast was very good and had everything you could want for breakfast! The coffee bar with flavored syrups was a nice touch. They even had soy milk! Yeah for me! ♡♡♡♡♡

This place was great. We got in at around 3am and the girl at the desk was so sweet and helpful — I know I wouldn't be that chipper at 3am. She helped us so much, went above and beyond. Our room was clean and tidy — the beds were soft and the linens we're great. This location also accommodates pets and didn't have a weight limit (thank goodness too — we had a huge greyhound with us). I can highly recommend staying here.

I been staying here off and on for the last year. The staff here is super friendly (except one lady the serves breakfast). Every room I've stayed in has been very clean and well kept. And everything you need in the kitchen is available. And if it's not they will get it for you. And if you rather not cook the are plenty of places to eat at walking distance. If you come to stay in Lake Charles please give this place a try.

My wife surprised me with a weekend getaway and booked us here. I really enjoyed the room. It was nice to have the kitchenette area and not have to eat on the writing desk for a change while at a hotel. The bed comfortable and the sofa a nice place to watch TV. They had a shuttle service to the Casinos which was greatly appreciated. The hotel was located close to most things in the Lake Charles area, I don't think anything was more than 10 minutes from the hotel. This served us well as we checked on our dog regularly. He really liked spending time in a new place, and even watched TV while we were gone. The Gym was decent and a comfortable temperature. The Breakfast was alright, I really liked the toppings for the waffles. I will look forward to staying at more Residence Inns in the future.

Friendly and helpful staff. They ran out of coffee twice during breakfast and took 15 min or more to get more. Rooms were clean.

I'm giving 4 stars because the overall experience was good. I will say that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Upon checking in I expected the room to be a little cleaner. Our blanket for the pull out couch was covered in someone's hair. Sheets and a new blanket we're brought up right away. Breakfast is your standard continental breakfast. Eggs 2 ways, sausage, fruit, cereal, waffles, ect. It was a good experience overall.

The vessels were not cleaned and seems the carpet is pretty old But the rooms are large and good and the rest I find to be good. And the commutation is easy. You have good restaurants and Walmart and grocery shops near by.

Yuck! I travel for work and like to stay at the Residence Inn because I like having the kitchen area. I have never stayed in such a dirty hotel. There was mold on the shower and soap scum all over the glass of the shower leading me to believe that the hotel shower had never been cleaned. It was so disgusting. Room keeping failed to leave coffee packs in my room so I could make/drink coffee before showering. I had to go down to the lobby to get coffee and there was no sugar or cream available. Then, as I was finishing getting ready, I found a flea on my foot. I was just so disgusted by this hotel I immediately packed up my stuff and left. Not the standards I expect from Residence Inn. I'm thoroughly disappointed and will NEVER stay here again.

Resident Inn by Marriott is an amazing apart hotel where you can enjoy even long periods. Big rooms available and with kitchen. Free Wi-Fi and smart TV in the room. Free breakfast and very kind personelle.

Traveling for work. Was pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean the hotel was. The room was spacious and well laid out. Big fridge oven and sink for long stays. Only negative was the TV only faces the bed, no lazy Susan or anything to make it easy to adjust to watch from the couch.

My husband & I stayed here for the weekend & loved our stay. The room was beautiful & staff was always friendly & helpful.

Previous guest's spit-out chewing tobacco found on the floor right next to the bed. Made the room smell great! Shower faucet handle installed completely backwards which led to an awesomely confusing start of the day with a blast of freezing cold water followed by scalding burning water. Very roomy and spacious.

Love this hotel: the lobby decor felt like home, the rooms were well thought out for use of space and numerous easy to get to outlets (even had a small charging shelf), comfortable beds, nice quality towels, stocked kitchen, huge work desk. I could go on & on but most of all there is a friendly and courtous staff. Front desk ladies, security helped us with parking, and kiddos to the breakfast ladies. They had a great deal on their hands with a full house of hungry guest.
If in Lake Charles again, we would definitely stay again. We were there for a wedding party so a very nice time.

Checked in Tuesday Wednesday we got no service at all from housekeeping we were told that the person whether it's a girl or a guy wrote on their that we didn't need any service but I have photos to prove otherwise. So I had to get towels when we got him from eating dinner at 9:30 from the front desk. Then Thursday I heard a knock on the door and then a man Open the door as I hollered who is it. Won't go back there and it's a shame because the room was beautiful and the hotel was also.

Beautiful hotel with a very high-end feel, the rooms are great and spacious. I wanted to find out what type of beds they use so I could buy one for my house, one of the best nights sleep I've ever had! The staff was extremely friendly and the location was perfect, right near the casinos and just a few minutes from the college. The lake charles mall is just down the street for shopping. Great hotel, we will stay here again!

This place is beautiful! Very clean very modern and the staff is more than welcoming. I booked a room here because the near by casino was full. Not only was my room less expensive, I am sure it is larger because it has a very nice small kitchen. Wow. This room is way more than I expected and if I am back here again I will definitely stay HERE!

This is a "real nice" facility. Breakfast was very filling. Would recommend this place to someone.

Well built hotel! Comffy bed thick walls, the rooms you cant hear anything going on outside the doors. Very friendly staff as well.

Nice decor, fantastic rooms, good breakfast, lots of cable channels, nice gym, pool! The only downside is no bar (but there are a few options in walking distance). I was very pleasantly surprised.

The Residence Inn by Marriott in Lake Charles Louisiana is the Best Hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay at. The staff and acomidations were A+ for the extended stay for our visit from South Carolina. I highly recommend this location for anyone visiting the area.

So as my entire family and another family is waiting in the lobby for a room we were told would be ready by 3… I'm writing this very poor review. The place is new and clean but the customer service is terrible. We are being offered nothing to compensate for our room STILL not being ready at 4:22pm and while waiting we are being asked to sign a code of conduct. Really?! How about a code of conduct to have what we are paying for ready on time! Won't be starting here again.
