Conveniently located by malls and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious but stuck in time. The staff gets an A+ rating. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Staff kept the halls vacuumed and free of any type of debris. Our bathroom needed an overhaul. Yes, it was clean, and courtesy items, towels, etc. Set out for use if needed but the tub shower and faucet handles kept coming off. This needs to be addressed. Nice, clean dining area provided for your early morning complimentary breakfast. Many items to choose from. There is something for everyone. And yes, you can hear children through the walls. We had a non smoking room and it had no nicotine or tobacco odor. We would stay here again.

Stayed twice over the course of a week. Rooms overall were clean and comfortable. However on second stay, room had poorly fitted door that let in excess light and sound… Happened to have loud children/teens across the way as well (not the hotel's fault). Detracted a bit from the stay but not horrible overall. Mini fridge actually froze things, major plus for some… However did not see a temperature adjustment.

I really and truly loved everything about this hotel. My room smell good my room was clean the bed was soft The linen was nice and clean and fresh. Everything about my hotel stay was five-star thank you so much I will be returning.

The room was clean… The bed was super comfy… The water in the shower was nice and hot… Free breakfast in the morning and fresh coffee available throughout the day… The staff was awesome! They were very friendly and professional. Ralph the manager was the greatest… During my stay he treated the whole staff to lunch and even offered me to a plate… Tabatha the front desk clerk was super… Each time I passed the desk she asked me if I was okay and is there anything I need… She offered me suggestions on places to eat and see… My housekeeper Robin so friendly and did a fantastic job cleaning the room and always asked was there anything I needed…

One of the nicest hotels I've visited in the price range. The exterior doesn't look anything like the interior. Pool is very small and separate from the building, across the parking lot. There's a little store by the front desk for drinks (no alcohol), snacka, and a few hygiene products. Free Wi-Fi. Pet friendly. Really close to I-10 and plenty of fast food.

When I booked, booking agent told me no kings available, upon arrival I spoke with manager and was immediately given a room with king bed — can I say awesome! Only complaint was Wi-Fi and cable was not working due to storm — kinda a bummer. Clean rooms, nice staff.

Service was Great, the staff was Excellent. My family had a Very Nice Experience with our stay, despite the fact that we were in town to attend our Granddaughter and her Husband's Double Funeral. Due to a very selfish Drunk Driver that only received a broken bone. Now their beautiful son and daughter will have to be raised without mom and dad. Please don't drink and drive!

This place was good but the TV channels are very limited. They need to boost this up. I think they may need a new vacuum, the one they use isn't good at picking up dirt.

Very disapointed with the cleanliness of the Hotel alltogether, hallways with dirty rugs, completely unkept, debris, all sorts of stuff on hallways to room. Inside room it appears as they failed to clean the bathroom as I found a piece of chocolate and a wrapper behind the toilet. Horrible allergic reaction to what ever they use to "clean" the rooms.

The staff is very polite, as always, but the condition of the hotel has drastically declined over the last year. It was much cleaner and better kept at the end of 2016 than it was at the end of 2017. The halls and room didn't smell great and the whole place just seemed a bit grimey. Despite being pet friendly, I do not anticipate staying at this location when we visit Baton Rouge again.

Nice location. Room was clean and quiet. Cable and TV worked well. Bed was comfortable.

I was in town for the weekend visiting family and friends. I normally stay at this hotel if I'm traveling for work but this particular weekend my nook was stolen out of my room. I noticed this when I was packing my things and it was no longer inside my bag. I made a complaint to management and they told me that I may have left the door unlock… That's when I realize that this was not going to get handled properly and management also said that someone will contact me in a couple of days. I still haven't heard anything from management but I will no longer give my business here again. This was my worst experience ever at a hotel in my life.

The room had (1) urine pool on side of toilet, (2) dirt and pee on part that goes to floor on toilet (3) receipt from a week before on side of nightstand — along with a piece of trash. (4) dirt in shower (5) stains on bed skirt (2x2inch stain on side of bed skirt — two other smaller stains on same side) (6) yogurt in fridge (7) food particles and lil bit dirt under sink area (8) front desk said they would "TRY" to get me another room… 45 min later I had to check out and the person I spoke to about changing rooms could not be found. Went to location on Acadian Thruway and was very happy. Older rooms but housekeeping is great!

It is a nice hotel. But the check in process took way longer than it should have. About 10 minutes. I was tired after driving 10 hours and just wanted to sleep. And then there was someone slamming a door over and over for hours in the middle of the night. Definitely not the best experience, but it was a comfortable place to sleep. Just hope the noise level is lower for you.

This was the absolute worst place I have ever dealt with in my entire life. My wife and I have been traveling for hours on end, and decided it time to take a break and get some sleep. Stopped by and got a room, and in no more that 15 minutes discovered someone's hair all over the bathroom floor. Thought to myself, It's a bathroom, don't freak out yet. My next stop was the bed. It looked nice, all made up and comfy, pulled the sheets back, shined the flashlight from my phone and noticed what appeared to be some sort of reddish bodily fluid and someone else's hair. I then went to the front desk and asked for sheets, and that's when I was told that I had been in the room entirely to long and that there be no telling what I had time to do. In all of 15 minutes! At that point I was livid and demanded a refund and then she offered to swap out my rooms. The desk manager was more than rude and unprofessional. I hope this place loses any future business over the 97 dollars you royally screwed me out of.

The staff at this hotel were great! The ac didn't work in our room and the front desk quickly put us in another room without question. The breakfast was skimpy, and you can tell it's an older building with just a new coat of paint. But for the price and the pet friendly, it's worth it.

The rooms were serviceable. They were not amazing because it seems like this hotel is old, but location-wise it is fine. Plenty of restaurants and activity for shoppers and children.

We stayed here because of an all night power outage at our home. Overall the hotel was okay. The lobby and breakfast area was nice and clean. The room was okay. However the room didnt get cool until around 7 am when we had to get up to leave and we tried several time to adjust it and it wouldn't cool through the night. The bathroom tub was not cleaned well either and the pillows smelled like some type of food blah. Overall the hotel was just okay. I'd stay again if I had too however id just ask for a clean bathtub and pillows that were clean and didn't smell like food.

This is one the worst hotels ever. Poor customer service. Room was dirty upon checkin. Ask the front desk if we could change rooms, I was told that there was none available at the time, so we had to get housekeeping to come in and clean the bathroom which when they left was still dirty. So my mom and I had to clean the bathroom, the refrigerator, and the inside of the drawers which contained roaches in them. I was very displeased and would not recommend this filthy hotel to anyone.

Stayed with some Friends over the weekend came down from Florida, great location rooms smell clean and fresh staff is friendly I spoke to Christina on several occasions she is outstanding she does everything and has a great attitude Everytime I saw her she is very professional she runs the desk she cleans room I even saw her pick trash up in the parking lot and pull trash out the trash cans put side with a smile every time Christina deserves 10 stars! She will be the reason me and my family return because her personality is outstanding and she is above professional over every staff I ran across there she should lead the rest of the staff and this location will be out standing Thanks for the nice stay laquinta!

The location is great with easy access to Siegen lane. The rooms are small but provide you with everything you need for your stay such as microwave, mini fridge, and TV. When checking in, the customer service provided was quick and easy.

Location was great. They allow pets and it makes the hotel really nasty. The building is nasty. We are staying somewhere else tomorrow night. The faucet in the bathroom is the wrong kind in our bathroom. We are in room 223. The hallways are too narrow to haul luggage down. Elevator stinks. Smells like BO when you walk in the door for the first time. The smell is probably because of the pets.

Great location, nice clean comfortable rooms! All staff are nice and friendly but I have to specifically mention Christina — she was the most patient and kind when checking us in and when I had to call the front desk for a few questions. She was very professional and outstanding. Will definitely stay at laquinta again!

The rooms were clean. Loved the modern look and feel. Hard mattress but thats a gamble at any place water pressure not horrible but not the greatest either. The staff was helpful super friendly and the breakfast selection was awesome. Our family really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next summer!

I got the upgraded king room for 3 days. LOVED the size of this room and the decoration. Great value. Mediocre breakfast but so what. Close to pots of affordable reataurants and gas stations. Good soft towes, no hassle about getting more towels. I liked that they left a tag on my door bc of my do not disturb sign offering that I was welcome to requests service at any time.

Pleasant staff at checking. Housing keeping was very loud with their life stories and disruptive. The hallway was musty and smokey. My room was ok but it made me feel like I needed to clean it a bit more before I could comfortably stay in it. As you enter the room the fake wooden floors looks dirty, as I look around under the bed and furniture is dusty. Pics says the rest. Overall it was fairly quiet stay.

I almost always stay in La Quinta hotels all over the nation. This one is the nastiest. Obviously, a make over of a run down cheap hotel whose every ancient, broken feature can be seen. After two days, the greeting carpet and the one just inside had not been cleaned. I tried this one because the one off Acadian is so rundown, but this one is worse. La Quinta corporation should be ashamed of itself. Why ruin its general reputation for good quality? Seigen Lane is a traffic nightmare and LA Quinta's sign cannot be seen except from the freeway as you pass the exit. Only one drive way once you find the hotel. Breakfast is the usual plastic. Go around the corner to dependable, fun Waffle House. Oh. The room was clean. The desk folks were pleasant. Hope they can find a better job — maybe in a better La Quinta.

This hotel was very nasty! My family and I stayed here about two week ago. The bathroom had hair in the tub, the floors creaked when you were walking around in the room. The air conditioner did not work. The carpet in the hall ways to get to your room we filthy! You could smell smoke as you walked in to the lobby. I would have rather slept in our car.

Watch out this hotel allows smoking in the rooms you have to specify that you want a non smoking room otherwise they will put you in a smoking room the entire hotel reeks of cigarette smoke.

I would rather had slept in my car. The hallways, rooms, and bed were dirty. The tub was nasty. After 20 minutes we left to go to another hotel. If you're looking for a place to spend the night, go somewhere else.

My husband, son and I spent two nights here, We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It was clean and quiet. Angala at the front desk was always smiling and had a wonderful personality. She definitely added to the pleasure of this visit. Georgette in housekeeping was kind, polite and always willing to lend a hand. Another asset to this stay! My only complaint would be that the night shift personnel did not put in my wake up call that I requested. However, my cell phone made sure I was up! LOL I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay in Baton Rouge, LA.
