The building might look good from the outside, but it’s very outdated inside. We checked in at 3AM trying to get some sleep during a road trip, but then Housekeeping knocked the door multiple times at 9AM, because they wanted to… change the towels.

Sorry but every 2week the breakfast was the same thing but some of your rooms were good. But the 3 floor smail like they have been smoking and it do. But it's kind of good.

The initial room we got smelled so horrible, as soon as you opened the door it smelled like mildew. The odor was stronger in the bathroom. I immediately told my fiancé we would ask for another room, upon inspecting the room a little more we found a condom hanging out inside the top bathroom light fixture. That was gross, how did housekeeping skip that? Also the smoke detector had been removed and the room was a non smoking. So to skip the hassle of finding a different hotel since it was so late in the evening and we had been driving all day, we did ask for another room. The gentleman at the front desk we very helpful and immediately placed us in a handicapped room. The room lacked a lot of cleanliness however no mildew. The housekeeping really could do more or scrubbing and wipping the bathroom and changing the towels. Thankfully we did not spend too much time in the room but will never again stay there, nor will I recommend. My expectations were a little high since its under Wyndham but we probably would had have a better experience at the days inn next door.

We stayed this weekend. We were told that there wasn't any towels to take a bath. We had to ask at 4pm for our room to be cleaned. Then there was only one large towel. No hand towels. I went to the front desk to ask for more towels. I was rudely told there were no more towels. I tried to ask when they would be available and she told me she had to just put them in the dryer herself. Didnt bother to say she would have them brought to our room. She told me it wasn't her fault they needed towels for the swimming pool. The fridge didnt work. There was ROACHES in our room as well. This morning we went for breakfast and the same lady from the desk was heating up the food for breakfast. She told another lady they just ran out of food but they had been out. We waited for the eggs and sausage. She took her time cleaned everything before she put the eggs out. My husband had time to pack up the vehicle and come back in. It was at least 15 min. This is and no way to treat customers.

And even I ask for crib when I show up to the building the erson at desk didn't care to tell me they didn't carry cribs in this hotel no before charging my credit card. When I complain at feo t desk about cigarettes smell even on pillows alex at front desk said the smell is because weather change. Is funny how people think you are stupid.

I really enjoyed my visit due to the beautiful Melody at the front desk! Even though I had some minor problems with my television and working my AC, she was extremely helpful during my whole entire stay ensuring that I had everything I needed. Melody always had a great attitude whenever I crossed the front desk she would always greet me with a smile, I would definitely stay here again!

The staff was rude to a lady who came to pick up her final payment with uniform. The clerk was rude and refused to give it to her. She even threatening to call the police.

Really run down and filthy. Things falling off of and out of walls in room. The sand filled pool was ghe perfect metaphor.

Just recently remolded. This hotel is a great value for the money. Rooms are clean and updated. Staff is courteous. Location is convenient to I-12 and Baton Rouge. If you just want a clean, comfortable, place to sleep without a lot of amenities, I recommend this place. If you want more of the “bells and whistles”, go somewhere else.

Terrible service when it comes to a noise complaint. Come here if you want to party all night and keep all your neighbors awake. They won't do anything.

I wish I didn't have to put a star because I have had to wipe down everything in here because of the layers of dust and we all know dust comes from dead sink that falls off of us. I had to wash the ac vents so nasty. Bath room sink is about to fall off the wall. No blow dryer. Can hear the people next door. The light bar is broken I feel like I have been stolen from. Wish I didn't pick this!

This place was ok but cheap. It has so many bad reviews but I still stayed here. They had some black dude drive up to me in his car at the front entrance that tried to sell me some drugs. I ignored him and walked into motel. If it was not for that then I would recommend this motel but it's not a good location apparently at night. Find another motel if you can. Oh and the towels are very dirty.

Evertime I visit Baton Rouge, if I don't feel like staying with family or friends, I stay here. I love the renovations, always have a pain free visit, and if something goes wrong they fix it. Whenever I visit other cities and states, this is the first place I make reservations, or if it's last minute, I look to Microtel first for an available room.

This hotel needs a lot of improvement. I tried 2 rooms, both not clean. I ended up staying somewhere else.

The first room I was given had dirty sheets with hair under the blankets. I asked for a different room and had the same problem. Rooms have a strong must and mildew smell.

My wife and I stayed there 8/12-13/2017 and it was the worst ever! When we checked in and went to the third floor our room didn't have a mini fridge our sheets were dirty and we took pics to show the front desk and she let us choose out of two other rooms but one didn't have a microwave and those sheets had blood stans on It and smelled like smoke when it was a smoke free room. The other one was semi clean. They had nails n screws in the hall way along with other hazards the a. C. Units were torn apart in hallway. It's was a lot of other this wrong and too much to type and the breakfast wasn't even cooked all the way. The only thing good about the hotel was the person at the front desk ms Felicia. Don't stay here ever!

What a terrible place. Each room that I tried had bed bugs. The rest of the place was "liveable" but the bed bugs were the last straw.

This was the most disgusting place I have every step foot in. This hotel is infested with bed bugs its is not safe for people to stay here. I found bed bugs in all 4 of the rooms that I booked. The manager on duty had and attitude about the me not wanting to stay where they have bugs. I was refused a refund of my money back. The hotel is suppose to be non smoking my 1st set of rooms smelled like a ash tray. I asked to be moved to another set of room and they were infested with bed bugs. I would not every recommend this Microtel location to anyone. It was horrible.

My room was labled non smoking but smelled like smoke and had several cigarette burns and marks. The bathroom was nasty and had rust everywhere. The my pillows were dirty and had stains. The free breakfast was awful. I am very disappointed with my stay.

This location was passable. The second floor reeked of years of cigarette smoking but was ostensibly non-smoking with little signs on each door. It seemed like repairs/rehab may be starting.

I was extremely dissatisfied and almost left: Walls and floors in lobby/halls were filthy. Carpet in room was so disgusting that I wouldn't set our bags on it or even let my dog lay on it. Room had an extreme odor of marijuana and urine. Feared for our car and personal security. Loud music all night. Others were complaining as we checked in. Stained bedding and walls. I wouldn't even use the pillows or blankets. Minimal water pressure and towels were barely larger than a hand towel. I wish I could only give this a quarter to half star ONLY because all of the staff I encountered were very nice/professional. I would not recommend this hotel AT ALL especially if you are a woman staying alone. My husband wouldn't let me out of the room without him and we brought EVERYTHING in from our cars because we were worried they were going to be broken into during the night. Not AT ALL worth the money!

Dirty room when checked in. Rude staff, lack of customer service there. Dirty wall. Milde. Need to givw them fabric softener and some good cleaning chemical. Will not recommend them to anyon. Disappointing.

Nice stay, spacious room, friendly customer service. Only gave is one key card when checking in and had to ask for another one. Breakfast was ok.

The owner Alex at this facility is VERY VERY rude. I advise to find another hotel because it's not worth the money. Walls in room was filthy and ceiling had mold on it. Horrible. Not worth the money. You will regret.

Front desk was nice. The carpet in my room was in slight disrepair, but over all it wasn't bad.

Last fall I stayed at a Micro-tel in South Bend. LOVED that experience. Found this one to be a far less loving experience. Bathroom needs a renovation immediately. Questionable stains on the window seating cushion. Lukewarm "hot" water. Stains on towels. We stopped because of flooded roads up ahead. Wishing we would have braved flooded roads rather than have stayed here. Lesson learned? Always read online reviews BEFORE handing over the credit card!

I should of known better. $67 was too cheap… you get what you pay for. The bedsheets were stained with what looked like old blood. I called downstairs and was told that he was busy working… did not even offer to get someone else to help me. I went downstairs and got upset because I was treated badly like my issue wasn't a big deal anf I feel staff should NEVER BE "TOO BUSY" to change blood stained sheets. I was told they wouldn't refund my money. And I on my way upstairs when I was told I couldn't have visitors which should be something I'd assume you'd mention at check in if that was a concern… I am not from here nor do I know anyone to come visit me and felt that was a tactic to deflect from the real issue. Old blood stains on the sheets. The hotel is gross and run down. We moved to another location. I would suggest you skip this place. Dirty, run down, disrespectful & unprofessional staff.

Service was ok… there were many inconsiderate guests being super loud, running up and down the hallways and jumping up and down on the floor above us. Bathrooms were disgusting with mold and water was barely warm. We left at 2 am to get away from this place. I would NEVER stay here again.

DIRTY UNDERWEAR! found in the room trash can. Room was dirty, towels and bed sheets where not clean. We paid $115 for the night thinking it was pricey and was going to be an OK hotel. However we had the worst service ever. The breakfast was cold and eggs were frozen, the kitchen lady was not friendly at all. She was rude. DO NOT STAY at this hotel. We were traveling to Texas and have been driving for over 12 hrs, so we decided to look for a hotel to stay the night. We looked at other in the area, but also had bad reviews. We did not think it was going to be this bad bc of the price we paid. I would not recommend this place.

The Microtel hotel in Baton Rouge La. Is a dump do not stay there. It's very dirty and smells like shit.

Worst hotel ever! During check in I heard another customer say her sheets and room was dirty, not thinking I checked in anyways! I open the door to disgust! I would rather sleep in my car! I should have read the reviews before I reserved the room! UGHH. My room really smells, stains on the sheets and carpet! Very disappointed! I guess you get what you pay for.

Great great great after being spoiled by motel 6 so much YEA RIGHT But yes nice rooms microwave and icebox, free net, soft beds and they serve breakfast slight continental but with waffles. All under 63, bucks with my CDL license discount so still worth the stay and elevators so come on in ask for Alex if he here tell him Anthony sent ya.

Holes in walls and ceiling, even the phone had a hole in it. Carpet smelled old and mildewed. Light fixtures missing cover, vent in bathroom doesn't work. Drain missing in sink and bathtub. But worst of all BLOOD ON MY SHEETS! I had to ask the front desk specifically to change my sheet due to blood and it wasn’t done they made up the bed with the same bloody sheets. I had to ask a second time and show them the blood and finally they changed the sheets. I will never go back.

I enjoyed the front desk person very friendly, clean rooms, good breakfast. I may have to visit again.

Needs remodeling. It's the worst microtel I've stayed in. Looks like it's the oldest on the franchise. TV was in awkward place. Only had cereal for breakfast. Day rate was cheap, I guess you get what you pay for.

I booked this hotel for 2 nights through Expedia but when I reached the hotel at 8:00 pm, the front desk stuff told me that my reservation was cancelled. I didn't get any email regarding that nor did I cancel it myself. They were unable to check me in so I called Expedia. Expedia confirmed that my reservation was still there so they called the hotel but the hotel stuff told them the same thing. It was a little difficult to find a hotel in that area on that particular day and the hotel might have given my room to someone else! Later Expedia arranged another hotel for me and it was a better one. I had this kind of experience for the first time. How can a hotel cancel someone's reservation without notifying him/her.

Do not stay in this FILTHY hotel! We asked for a non-smoking room and were given a smoking room and a can of frebreze! The frebreze did not help because the room was covered with a smoke smell. There was ashes on the floor all over the room, trash in the room, unclean tabletops, and flies! I have NEVER gotten a worse room in my life and I have stayed at Motel 6 before (nothing compared to this). The hallway on our floor smelled like marijuana and this place just looked dirty ALL over. After complaining to the front desk, they at first wanted to do nothing because they said we had been in the room for 15min before we decided to leave, seriously? After calling back a second time to report that we could NOT sleep in such a place and wanted a refund, someone was sent up. As soon as he walked in the room he claimed the room wasnt 'that bad' before even looking around! But once we started to point things out and get more upset he told us he would refund us our money. Refunding us was ANOTHER issue because he acted like his computer could not print us a refund receipt until we wrote up a receipt and asked that he sign it. He did sign but as we were walking out he called us back to say the printer was working again (RIIIIGHT). Please do yourself a favor if you are a respectable individual looking for a nice clean place to stay and do not WASTE your money or time going here! I will NEVER again.
