At 10:00 a. M. After staying the night before, we decided to stay another night, so my husband went to front desk to inform and pay them. Soon after, we both took our two dogs for a short walk so they could do their business. After being gone maybe 10 min or so, we returned to find the housekeeping cart in front of our door. When we unlocked with key card and opened door, a housekeeper was inside of our room… And had been in there with the door completely shut and locked automatically, of course. She seemed startled, as we were! She smiled, seemed nervous and asked us if we needed anything, told us she had just checked our linens, and asked again if we needed anything. We were both stunned! We had cell phones, a tablet, and a laptop out. My purse was on bathroom counter, and we stupidly assumed we could trust they would be safe and undisturbed. I dont think she had a chance to take anything, assuming she would or wouldnt. Who knows? not a good experience.

For 45$ this place is the bomb. Walking distance to the beautiful downtown area where there is everything from theatres to rooftop dinning and museums and parks. No more then 10 minutes from everything. Rooms are simple and clean. We had a king room and it was spacious with a dining table for two. PET FRIENDLY $10 a night extra. There were only a handful of guests here and I don't know why. I would suggest this place to the family in a budget, weekend lovers or a solo traveler. This place even has private elevated parking off the streets. I will be staying here every time I come to Vicksburg. Pictures are from right outside our room.

It's a little dated but for the price you can't beat it. They keep in clean. The staff is friendly. The location is great. I stay here everytime I'm in Vicksburg.

Very good location with walking distance entertainment areas. No smoking room was clean and had no odors. Furnishings were new and quality. Reasonbly priced.

Its a bad feeling every time I go to that room I think some strange than happened there before the service is poor bed have roaches and stuff was bitting me when I told them people they told me I couldn't get switch to another room I dislike this damn hotel.

I called in like a week before to reserve a room and they said it would be ready for me. I arrived and no one was behind the desk to check me in. When they finally came they told me my room would not be ready until like 4 hours after my arrival. Keep in mind I told them when (time and day) that I would be arriving. She told me I would have to pay extra to check in early so I told her not to worry about it and to cancel my reservation. Then I was still charged.

Take yourself back to the 60's when this place was built and enjoy the view. The owner is really kind and the rooms are clean. I travel for a living and would stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay the room was clean and the guy at the desk was friendly. Will definitely be returning our next trip to vicksburg.

Older building located in the "Inner City". Was pleased that smoking was allowed in the room. Was happy that there was a secure area to park the Car and trailer.

The three stars are for the low price. Seriously budget priced motel. The building is definitely past its prime, but the room was clean, a/c worked, nice tv, bed was comfortable. Was nice not to pay an arm and a leg to crash for a few hours. Parking garage. Was able to safely park with a trailer. Was able to walk to restaurant.

I stayed there a half dozen times last year. A little on the old side. But very clean and friendly. Great views of Vicksburg.

The floor in 218 smell like piss.

Slow internet connection and our keys kept up on not working and had to be reset at the front desk multiple times. And the chair/foot rest in our room looked old and dirty. Otherwise was a good hotel.

Customer service is Amazing. Although it's not the fanciest hotel it's definitely friendly and convenient. Where else can you find a local hotel right next to a bar, karaoke spot, dance club, and shopping outlets. Not only that, you have a Public Library in walking distance the comfort of Vicksburg Finest two blocks over as well. Everything you could need is a walk away and all with the low price of $45.00 plus tax for singles and $50.00 plus tax for double beds. Did I mention they are Pet friendly :) Bring your four legged child/children for only a $5 dollar pet fee. ^^ Now tell me, where can you beat this?
