I loved this place as soon as we arranged to stay overnite in the middle of our travelling in the states It was so oldyworldy just what I had loved about the place that you could see the Mississippi river from where we were and hear the crickets chirping at nite The family were so lovely and told us about the place of its history And it was lovely to have a lovely southern breakfast all together chatting round the big table. We both loved this place with it's swing chair in the front of the house too.

Macy, I want to thank you for the going the extra mile during our recent stay. I appreciate you having the flowers and chocolates in the room when we arrived. The kids enjoyed their stay as well. A wonderful place to see and stay. You can learn alot of history and kind of step back in time. The room was excellent. Bed is very comfortable and the Jacuzzi was awesome. Breakfast in the formal dinning room each morning and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend a stay here. The owners Mary and Joe are very nice. I will definitely visit again.

One of the most impressive bed and breakfast inns I have stayed. The generous hosts of Corners Mansion Inn provided us with their exquisite southern charm and hospitality in their historical home with an astonishing tour of the previous owners and their links to notable figures in our country's history. You will be surprised by what you discover about the history of this mansion and it's sheer beauty with symbolism embedded in and outside of the architecture the designer conceived for the newlyweds. The lush modern comforts of natural gas fireplaces and electrical conveniences does not subtract from 19th century environment. I truly felt I had gone back in time to a more simpler year just after the civil war when this country was going through very challenging changes to its beliefs about human rights and who determined who had those inalienable rights and who did not. It quickly reminded me of our modern conflicts over rights to healthcare and who deserves them… rich or poor. The hosts Macy and Joe had created a book of historical events, articles of a bygone era that fills in the missing pieces of general history. I was consumed by these events and intricate links to major historical events. We enjoyed the hot southern breakfast created by Joe while Macy entertained us with informative architectural and historical accounts of Corners Mansion. Our stay changed from ordinary to magical tranquility.

Fabulous place to stay! The breakfast is wonderful. Macy is a gem. I highly recommend the blue room if you have children. My little girls loved it. Huge plus was the cable and Disney so they had a bit of home to fall asleep by.

We toured a few B&B's while in town & I'm glad we chose to stay here in Guest Quarters 1. The home & grounds were lovely, breakfast was great & the owners were very nice. Location is very convenient to historic downtown. We were a bit nervous about the security camera on the porch that we could see thru transom window lol but we covered the small window while we were there just in case.

Quintessential Southern B&B in a quintessential Southern town. Very comfortable large rooms; my four — member family stayed in the first floor suite opposite the charming common room with piano, historic photographs and paintings, and cloud painted ceiling. What distinguishes this B&B is the host, Massie. She provides a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere amongst the backdrop of knowledge and stories about the extesive local history. She also makes a mean quiche!. Breakfast is a big wow. Highly recommend a stay at the Four Corners for an experience to remember.

No tour of home, room very hot and we had to buy a box fan, bathroom and shower in library suite was nasty… hair and urine on toilet seat, mildew all in walk-in shower. Yes it is suppose to be old as the property is from civil war era, but not filthy.

Wonderful house, plenty of history and things to read, very pleasant host, and a delectable breakfast. Will visit again.

I stayed at the Corners Mansion in Oct/& Nov/2013. My sister in Vicksburg is terminally ill. I did not want to stay at her house because so many family members from out of town were already there. I did not want to inconvenience my family who already had their hands full. Macy and Joe Whitney could not have been more accommodating. I had the beautiful master suite — 2 bedrooms with bath and a I got to sleep in the beautiful antique 4 poster bed. The whole mansion was immaculate. The living room and parlor, along with the library has such a calming feeling. In the mornings, they had coffee waiting in the parlor with tea and juice and then, before my day began with extremely emotional family happenings, Joe prepared the most incredible breakfast! We shared the HUGE gorgeous formal dining room table with Macy Whitney, a couple from Germany and 3 young men from Australia. Joe made a quiche type dish called Mrs. Rosa's Eggs, with bisquits and gravy, a beautiful array of fruit, and a cinnamon type-apple struedal. Along with water that was served in silver goblets, our juice was served in the finest crystal, and coffee was served in absolutely gorgeous gold-inlayed cups and saucers. The table was set with the most beautiful gold-inlaid china I have ever seen. Every little detail was perfect and for a moment I could pretend to be a queen. LOL!

Me and my wife enjoyed our 4th year together here in the master bedroom and loved every min. Of it. The room was beautiful, tall windows, and nice furniture. Bed was soft, and breakfast was very good, hats off to the cook. Macy was a wonderful host and knows what her guest likes. I give it two thumbs up. Stay here and feel the history of Vicksburg. Thanks Macy.

We stayed at The Corners in November, 2007. The first room we were given had a terrible mildew odor. We were told that they had been fighting mold in that room for years. They switched us to the room next door that was not as bad. It was a charming place, but they should not try to get guests to stay in a room with mold! The City was charming, but once you've seen the battlefields and been to the casino, there isn't even a movie theatre to catch a movie! They roll up the streets at dark… very relaxing if that's all you want to do!
