It’s a nice casino but they need a little more up to date machines and a lot more. I was disappointed but the place was really nice inside. None of the restaurant were open, the staff on the floor in casino where rude. I came in from Oklahoma had heard a lot about Tunica but the Oklahoma casinos beat these casino by far. The whole casino strip was so trashy looking as we were driving in. Members rewards are all a joke.

The buffet is awful! Not worth the money at all. Pop was flat, desserts were stale and had very little flavor. Will not return. Was a huge waste of money.

Another casino that is more like my last visit. Still much of what they have is closed. Food was good. Slots ok.

The hotel was dirty, floors needed vacuum in the hallways and elevators, the workers at the pickles and jam were so rude and lazy. They said our room was clean, which had toothpaste all over the bathroom mirror and all in all the hotel needs some serious updating. The rates were to high. I was very disappointed in the place. They have 4 elevators on our side we we’re staying and only 1 worked on Saturday night. I wished we would’ve stayed at The Horseshoe instead, people were so friendly and much cleaner.

Rooms are very worn down, not clean, especially the bathroom.
Racist against white people, little to no white employees and the staff has an attitude.
Promised food credit but did not get it.
$25 extra for a refrigerator.
Shop closed.

Rude and lazy workers. Place was dirty and nasty. TV wouldn't work no cable no phone in room. Workers came looked at TV and said we'll add it to the list. But didn't fix it. Took forever to get a drink.

Very good show with George Thorogood but very Dissatisfied with room. Two beds no garbage cans and nowhere to put cold beverages if at all possible. Other than them giving me a. 04 voucher from the Casino I’m ok lost a hundred dollars and that’s ok. But they need to do something about a. 04 voucher? Really?

Spent the afternoon here and enjoyed the atmosphere. The employees are very helpful and friendly. There is a wide variety of the newest slots. The casino is spacious and clean. Fast drink service. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent experience for my husbands birthday weekend, the room was lovely and our seat at Trace Adkins was perfect. And we had the most amazing midnight snack with room service: I highly recommend the quesadillas or mozzarella sticks 5 ⭐️’s. Will definitely be back!

Rooms and staff are very nice. I also enjoy the different bands they have weekly. There are a lot of different games to choose from and the holiday decorations are always awesome. The buffet is one of the best for the money. In all it's a wonderful casino and I highly recommend you see for yourself.

The gold strike is a great place to go and have fun the rooms are great the food is good have lots of machines to pick from the staff is great and friendly my husband and I go two to three times a year it's my favorite place to go going to the gold strike.

We where VERY disappointed to find out that children couldn’t swim in the swimming pool. Had we known prior to check in we wouldn’t of stayed there. But being as you wouldn’t refund us for both nights we had no choice. I understand y’all are a casino and are more oriented for adults but that should’ve been disclosed at booking! We where in town for a cheer competition and there where MANY other little children there disappointed that weekend. We will not be bringing children with us again.
Would have given you lower but the hotel was beautiful and the rooms where clean.
Also don’t take the room by the ice machine I had to hear ppl filling COOLERS at 4 am!

We have been sports betting since it came to goldstrike. But the past couple weeks, we have had very bad experiences. From the attitude of the cashiers. To the lines moving extremely slow. There needs to be enough workers prepared on days with large crowds (sundays before afternoon games) because one register was open with no employee on it. And it would've helped. And if the betters come to the register unprepared to make bets, they should not be allowed to hold the lines up. I think being a little bit more structured will help the attitudes of the customers. Which would in turn, help the attitudes of the employees! Just my opinion.

I was treated to a three day weekend and surprised with a stay at Gold Strike hotel. It was so pretty and exciting. I don't gamble but I did play a little and was happy that I quadrupled the small amount I took to play. All of the workers in the casino and the hotel were genuinely friendly and helpful eveyday. The hotel was new and clean, unfortunately our room was not so I could not rate with a 5. Also I was not ready for the cigarette smoke. The food in the restaurants and buffets was extraordinary, very tasteful, exceptional presentation and masterfully done. The gift shop had some of the most beautiful and unique items I have ever seen. I would like to go again someday soon.

Fun place. Rooms nice the only negative was to enter the pool you go through the spa. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was okay in restaurant but not outstanding as steak house was medicore. Fun place just not fancy.

Gold Strike Casino Resort is a wonderful place for a getaway. This place is beautiful to look at, and the staff are all really friendly. Lots of slots and table games. A seriously huge buffet with tons to choose from. The rooms were nice and spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

We go to Gold Strike for their seafood buffet on fridays and Saturdays. Their buffet has Asian, Italian pizza, a salad bar, soul food, loads of shrimp, crab legs and a killer dessert bar. The only downside is the line is always long. The buffet opens at 4 and we got their around 6. The line will stay long all evening so be prepared to wait. Its $30 but if you're are going for the crab legs, it's well worth it!

The Casino is nice. The food was delicious! The staff at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful… in the Restaurant they were not. The rooms were nice except for the water pressure in the shower, it was extremely strong and uncomfortable and the water left a "film" type of feeling. I believe that's hard water. However; I enjoyed my stay.

My husband and I booked 7/12 — 7/14… we were going to the Pat Benetar concert. We got in about 8pm and after they took our card and asked about room request they decided to tell us “oh by the way we’ve had water problems and we can’t drink the water from the faucet or brush our teeth with the sink water”. They did give us their labeled water bottles which is something we always get. It was a very inconvenience because we were not able to order coffee or fountain sodas at the restaurants or buffet. They never offered a credit for this inconvenience. They just told us that it was not their fault that they were having these problems. Well it wasn’t their patrons fault either. The fact they didn’t tell this when we were first were checking in was very unprofessional and shady. We have spent a lot of money at gold strike and it just seems like this property is just going down hill. It’s a shame if you ask me. Hopefully in a couple of weeks when we go to Vegas and stay at another MGM property the Mirage, it will be a better experience.

We ate at the buffet, not only did we wait in line for 47 minutes. They only had bottled sodas, cause the machines were down on a Friday night. They weren't cold at all. The crab legs have gotten worse and worse just like the free play. 1st jackpot has less variety but much better crab legs. Use to love this place, but it's going down.

Do NOT stay here! We arrived at 6:00pm and were told our room was not ready. We had to wait after till after 11:00 before getting our room. When we finally got to our room we found that the air wasn't working. Called down to the desk and was very rudely told that we had to wait in the room until maintenance arrived. We had to wait over an hour before maintenance showed up. Also to really make matters worse the water bottles in our room were opened and had been drank out of. We also had the left over room service and garbage from the previous people left out side our room for the entire night. Also I was eaten alive with what I truly hope is mosquitos. This place was disgusting under staffed and an absolute disgrace.

I don't know what has happened to this place. The Gold Strike used to be my favorite place to stay, play, eat and everything! I admit it has been a few years since I have been able to visit, but this weeks visit left a little to be desired. The rooms were not comfortable at all! The bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab and the pillow was like a couple of paper towels. We didn't even have enough wash cloths for the 3 people in our room. There wasn't even a fridge in the room. The air temperature box was obviously for looks, because we tried to lower the temperature and it just came on at random. Not to mention, the casino. Almost all the machines are now penny machines. But there was plenty of them to choose from. Not everyone likes to play the pennies! The food was good, we had breakfast and dinner at the buffet, it was great both times with plenty of selection and the staff was friendly. The cocktails were very few and far between! I don't know what has happened to Tunica period. NOTHING was going on anywhere. A lot of the places have closed down and looked run down. We couldn't wait to get there, but probably will never be back!

Very much a casino versus a hotel. We came as part of a reunion. And that warm friendly aspect seemed missing. If you like a casino, you would like this place. The food was actually good here. The Chicago Steakhouse was over priced. The Pickle & Jam was more in line with quality and price for good value. The reunion banquet meal was quite good, very well seasoned, with two great entree choices. Enjoyed a choice of desserts. The rooms and room service were excellent. The casinos are isolated in a very quiet part of the state. The overall stay was good. A little more emphasis of our reunion would have given more stars.

Nice resort. Literally in the middle of no where. A hostess in the restaurant by the name of Jannie was welcoming every night I stayed. I looked forward to her professional and courteous service. Very clean rooms and spacious. Although there was bo refrigerators or microwaves in the room. The upsetting part is there is a 20 dollar fee for the use of one.

We loved everything and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The casino despite allowing smoking it did not seem Smokey. The slots were not that free with big payouts but kept you playing. Every staff member seem pleasant and always smiling, especially Janet at the morning buffet.

The rooms are good, but lack a mini fridge or microwave. The bathrooms in the room are nice, and the soap and shampoo are similar to those in boutique hotels. The food options are so-so. There are better food options at nearby hotels. They've always had plenty of parking when I've been.

I like coming to this casino because it’s not too crowded. I’m always able to find a machine that I’m looking for. The drinks are good, and some of the servers are friendly. I’ve stayed in the hotel once and it was nice and clean. My husband and I had a nice view of the river. The room was nice and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. The room service was fast and the food was good. The pool and exercise room was clean. The only complaint I have is, on the weekends it’s hard finding parking close to the hotel. I would stay here again.

It was wonderful I enjoyed myself multiple choice of machinery. I will be back and I enjoyed myself great hospitality maybe not win no money but it's all entertainment all fine thanks Gold Strike for your hospitality. But maybe I need to get a little more promotion free slot play income for Buffet Mabel open. A very secret service received promotion from you all don't know why don't understand it. I don't have a whole lot of money much money but I do share what little I have add URL Casino thank you all for everything.

The room we stayed in was just okay. There was no mini fridge or microwave and the A/C was mediocre at best. The bathroom was spacious, however. The beds were clean but definitely on the squishy side — not my cup of tea but that's obviously personal preference. The receptionist was polite and courteous. Overall, the building was well kept and clean; no complaints there! After staying there, I still prefer the rooms at Horseshoe. They are recently remodeled and definitely have a more modern feel, not to mention they do include the aforementioned fridge and microwave. I would say I was satisfied, but I'll stick with Horseshoe when I go down that way. Rating: 3.5/5

Check in was very easy and staff member that checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. Room was great even though we had a room right above lights, the blackout curtains did their job! Concession stand was pricey but so glad there was one as there is not of places close by open late. Would recommend this place!

If you are looking for a great meal then the buffet on Friday nights is pretty good. They serve seafood and other items from different perspectives. My wife and I mainly go because of the crab legs, which she loves, but there are plenty of other items to choose from. The staff is friendly and they serve wine as an included perk in the price of the meal. Speaking of the price… That is my only knock. It is quite expensive for a couple of adults to eat but if you are looking to switch things up and not necessarily looking for "upscale" then Gold Strike is a good choice.

Imagine realizing you lost your wallet several hours after checking into a large casino hotel on a weekend with a special event in the area and the hotel, lobby and casino are filled to capacity… well, that was me. I checked in, went to the room to recover from the travel and freshen up and realized I did not have my wallet that had EVERYTHING in it. I immediately went downstairs and spoke to the concierge. They called security and that is when I met Billy. I have to say that Billy and the rest of the security team did not waste any time listening to my hysterical plea to help me find my wallet. I told them that the only other place it could be besides the lobby was in the car which was in the valet. Billy had security start pulling up the security cameras and they had the valet pull the car around and Hallelujah! My wallet was there. I was so happy and thankful to Billy and his handsome coworker. Can't remember his name but (wow! ) :). Now I have to admit those slots were incredibly tight but besides that I have to say my stay was very pleasurable. Every employee was kind and pleasant from Billy in security, to Moe in the concierge (another wow! ), Abdullah in the buffet and that's only to name a few. I have to say I am a stickler for customer service and every interaction I had was pleasant and that made my stay wonderful. My only complaint. No microwave or fridge in the rooms and I was there for 3 days so that would have been nice. Great job to all the employees.

It's a place where you don't expect to win just having fun and having a good time, I recommend the buffet.
