Review of Knights Inn Racine 1*

I am giving one star because there is no option for zero stars. My reservation was for Friday and Saturday night. Called on Thursday and spoke to the manager, Heather, to check my reservation and specifically ask them about bed bug rumors I had seen on line. She assured me that the problem had been resolved. Arrived after 11 on Friday night. The front desk woman was checking her facebook and took a very long time to get me checked into my room. The room she put me in was on the other side of the wall from the office. I mention this because there is no way she was not aware of the wild party taking place in the parking lot. Several rooms had their doors open, furniture pulled outside, music blaring. All. Night. Long. Upon entering the room I checked the bed and chairs for bed bugs, and they were fine. At least it was clean. It was late, so we just tried to sleep. At 6:30 Am the party was still going strong, so I gave up and went to the desk to request being moved to another room for the Saturday night portion of our stay. The man working the desk was very helpful and moved us to another building. They were still partying over there too! Same thing, chairs pulled outside, doors open. Yelling, loud music, before 7am! Went in the room, pulled up the corner of the sheets and there were bed bugs everywhere in the mattress! TONS of them! All in the creases and seems of the mattress. I went right back to the office and canceled the rest of our stay. Got a refund for Saturday night, but he could not do anything for Friday night. Went to the Motel 6 across the street.
