You just have to be patient with the renovations here and excuse them because you'll still get exceptional service… its going to look amazing when finished and I enjoy watching it come into place. I really enjoy the treatment I receive here and I love the ambition to keep making it better while staying loyal to everyone along the way. I appreciate the kindness… and I highly recommend this hotel to not only be a place to stay one time but to be a place to stay whenever you need a comfortable home like place in the mount pleasant area. I am amazed at everything we receive while here. You'll be amazed too. I have been a faithful customer and I'm new to the area (of course we were made to feel extremely comfortable) and I will always be loyal especially with my wedding coming and family reunion too… ill be having everyone stay here just because I can't let them go anywhere else… I'm so glad to not have to wonder and know I have a safe friendly place for my friends and family to be to celebrate. I say stay here. This hotel is perfect.

Nothing fancy but clean comfortable reasonably priced place to rest our heads… customer service was superb.

They were renovating, so a lot of focus was on that instead of the customer. Not enough towels in the bathroom & the AC didn't work so my room was very HOT all night! I spent $100 for the night when they have a big sign stating how there rooms are $65. Hopefully when the renovations are complete, it'll be a better stay.

I’ve been staying here and I love the staff and the rooms are spacious and clean. I have been treated so wonderfully during my time in need of their room and services. They are really doing their best to make this hotel the best it can be. They’ve been wonderful to my family and I. I can’t thank them enough here. I’ll always recommend their rooms and I’ll always make sure I come here whenever in need. :)

Very unclean. Crumbs and garbage on the floor. Continental breakfast was a joke, and the beds were less than comfy.

Keep looking. Very unimpressed with the rooms and the manager was a jerk an a half, plus the rooms were super expensive an do not live up to the pricing for decorations, ambiance nor cleanliness ~ for $85 I expect a clean bed without pee stains on the mattress cover, no hair everywhere, flat pillows, thin walls, no shampoo, no hair dryer or coffee pot, the continental breakfast was pathetic an low grade plus some of the other guests seemed to be bums with trashy behavior. How dare a place like this exist in such a remarkable thriving neighbor community? This owner needs a swift kick in the backside for running this hellhole hotel or whatever it is. Shabby old housekeepers with no uniforms and nasty run down carts an cheap vacuums no wonder it's dirty in that place plus they need to wash the windows on the inside an outside! Just no an ugh so gross never again will I lay down in that dump. On conclusion: you would be better off staying at the Bates Motel.

This place was worth the price. The accessible room I book for my son was perfect for his needs. The hotel staff was accommodating and very helpful.

I have here for work for two weeks. It was clean and roomy, they offered good breakfast, and it was next to a mall, shops, and restaurants. I didn't have to leave the area.

I would stay here again. Great front desk courtesy and friendly staff. Comfortable environment and great on the go breakfast. I reccomend stopping in for a good night's sleep.

Reasonably clean, wouldn’t call it a very well run place. Will charge you an extra fee if you book on Priceline, which you won’t know until you arrive. Not a great stay for the rates they ask, in my opinion.

Really polite staff. Barry (gentleman with beard and glasses) was a help to me and my wife. Would stay again if they keep such great people!

Upon arrival to the room we found bed bugs, stains on the sheets, hair from previous guests, and a filthy carpet. The air conditioner filter had never been cleaned, and the receptionist was rude and unaccountable. This is the worst hotel I have ever been at.

When we arrived we were told that despite having requested a room with 2 beds they wanted an additional 12 dollars for a second bed. The first room they put us in was next to the furnace and very noisy. The manager was very impolite and I would not go here again.

Bad customer service, bad attitudes on all staff from front desk to house keeping. Old Televisions sets in the rooms, the one in our room the volume did not work (Room 105) Old dirty microwaves. Rooms have a funky smell to them. Signs of No Smoking on every door yet the whole building smells like cigarettes. Dare not ask for extra towels they will get mad. There continental breakfast is a joke. I will never be staying there again. It was my 1st and last time.

This is definitely one of the better hotels in town. I travel to Racine a few times a year for work and have stayed at a few hotels in the area. For the price and convenience this is now my go to. The rooms are clean and comfortable, helpful staff, the breakfast has everything I need, and plenty of shops and restaurants in the area.

We stayed at the hotel for the weekend and were very happy with our experience. The owner and front desk were very accommodating of our pets. Check in was simple and they helped us with directions and cabs and gave us recommendations about things to do in the area. We would definitely stay again. Breakfast was not out of this world but definitely more than expected for a continental breakfast. Overall the hotel was clean and quiet at a great price.

Room had very few amenities but we really only needed it as a place to lay our heads for a night. Continental breakfast was a joke, bagels, donuts and cereal were all stale. The fruit was all bruised, kind of a bummer when looking to grab a bite on our way out of town.

Hotel staff was very friendly and quick checking me in. Rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds! Breakfast had bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, bananas, oatmeal, coffee and juice which is much more than your typical continental breakfast! Would highly recommend and stay again in the future!

The hotel is under new ownership. I've stayed here before and it is completely different. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I had someone help me bring in my bags, they had a very low fee for my pet and the breakfast was way more than donuts and coffee which is what I expected from a continental breakfast. They let me check in early and the hotel is right next to a variety of fast food and sit down restaurants as well as shopping! I would definitely stay here again.

Under new ownership and they are doing great… they are currently in the process of updating rooms one at a time. I couldn't find anything to complain about. All previous reviews were written under previous ownership, so take with a grain of salt and give these new young owners a shot. They definitely care about customer service.

Yes, this is an older hotel in need of updates. BUT the entire staff, from the front desk to the over night person to the cleaning staff is very nice, helpful, prompt, and polite, and the hotel is very clean. Anyone commenting on the cleanliness of hotel is probably just seeing the need for a fresh coat of paint and bathroom fixtures that have lost their shine after years of use. Excellent staff, excellent service, and a hotel that looks and smells clean is all anyone needs most of the time! We booked online and got a discount so we even got an excellent price.

Ryan Stump booked the room via EXPEDIA, some reason if you want to cancel your reservation, Expedia or any on line travel agent has policy that doesn't give you refund. So, Ryan could not cancel his reservation or get the refund what he paid to Expedia, he checked in, tore the bedding apart and he BELIEVED what he wrote. What he wrote here was next day after talking to me when I advised him he booked with Expedia, he needs to ask Expedia for refund whom he paid. I also informed about what he did with bedding, and asked him what he was doing with bedding then he got mad and mentioned either I should refund his money or he going to post nesty review. Again, I told him Who can refund you where he paid (Expedia). it is shameful that people who post such a low review to blame mail hotel management just to get money back because they can not get the refund from ota like expedia. Morality has no value when it's matter of money. jafar saiyed gm.

It was pleasent stay. Rooms were very clean and comportable. Will stay again.

I booked a reservation here and when I was on the way I noticed many bad reviews regarding bed bugs so as a concerned customer I looked for all of the common signs of bed bugs. We checked in and looked under the mattress to find many brown stains that were consistent with bed bugs. I told them we didn't want to stay and we would like a refund because of the bed bugs. They said we could only get one day refunded because we "tore the room apart". I called and asked to speak with the manager and was called back 5 hours later by the manager (jafar saiyed) and he was rude and said the only reason we booked there was to look for bed bugs and that we had no intention of staying there which makes no sense. Why would I drive 6 hours from home to look for bed bugs in a hotel. He reassured me there were no bed bugs and that I was making this all up. I wish I could attach pictures to this review but it won't let me. The place was disgusting and I would rather sleep in my car than stay there.

We had stayed twice here and not knowing until we had left the first time that my husband had been bitten by a beg bug and the second time we were there I actually caught the bed bug and showed it to the front desk and her answer was that the mattress was new and that they had never had that problem and that there was nothing she can do about. I really dont recomend this hotel but if you do decide to go there check the bed before sleeping in.

What a joke! We had to switch rooms 2 times. The first room was a suite which had a queen bed and a hide a bed. The hide a bed was horrendous. The mattress was so thin you could feel the metal bars sticking in your back. My 7 year old said lying on the coffee table was more comfortable! We asked to be put into another room with 2 queen beds. The reception staff was very nice and switched us. We turned on the bathroom light and it was blinking and so dim, we could barely see. Went to the front desk and the staff said maitainance would be there following morning around 9:30. This time came and went and when we checked with receptionist, we were told since it was Christmas Day he may not even be in. Once again, we had to move. Upon departure, I asked if I could have some compensation for all of our troubles and receptionist said she would get ahold of manager and let me know. I received a call back and was told I would get a $10 refund! Are you kidding me? Needless to say we will never be staying here again and I advice everyone to find somewhere else to stay. This place sucks!

I stayed for two nights and not knowing until we left I got bit by multiple bed bugs while staying here. Therefor I have to warn you to check your bed before sleeping. Everything else was nice but it can't make up for the fact that there are bugs crawling around in their beds.
