Nice place! Good food, friendly place.

A truly memorable experience every time we stay! The hotel is stunning and elegant (artwork, design, amenities, etc. ), and the staff and service is fantastic! We always enjoy eating at the Mason Street Grill for an upscale evening out, and the Pfister Cafe is great for breakfasts and lunches and grabbing a quick coffee or latte and a breakfast sandwich to go, I’d highly recommend it! We look forward to staying each and every year for the holidays!

We loved the beautiful historic hotel. We had a suite on the top floor of the historic side and it was gorgeous and so reasonably priced. We will never stay anywhere else in Milwaukee now that we have discovered the Pfister!

We attended my sister's wedding at the Pfister back in 2020. Terrific hotel, great service, and all of the vendors that were recommended to my sister and brother in law were excellent.

Aside from the fact that there was banging on the walls, TV acting wonky, and a ghost literally tried to manifest in my room, I would still give this hotel a 10 star rating! Absolutely beautiful art and design and the staff has been nothing short of fantastic! Definitely worth it.

multiple calls to conceive to fix and they don't. Order in room dining, terrible service have to reorder meal 2x due to incorrect order. All over terrible service.

It's been 30 years since the last time I visited. Back then it was fabulous. It still is today. The staff were wonderful.

The history was great. However we had to pay 30 dollars a night to park. We paid enough for the room there's no way we should have to pay for parking.

I love coming here! It is beautiful in a bygone era sort of way but has modern rooms with nice amenities, a helpful and friendly staff and a great onsite restaurant, The Mason street grill. A favorite place to stay in Milwaukee!

None! I love every aspect of this hotel. Amazing staff, restaurants, lounges, art, atmosphere, all the way to the amazing attentive bellhops… everything is amazing.

Years ago it was perfect! I traveled to my Aunts and Uncles for a reception for my cousins. Most family stayed there. The babysitter was awesome for my wee baby. Best receptions, etc. Hope its still keeping it up. Worth the money♥

I had the pleasure of staying at the Pfister Hotel for a business trip. It is a beautiful historic building with a very friendly and helpful staff. I heartily recommend the Pfister whether you are in Milwaukee for business or pleasure.

I just wandered in discovered they had tea service. It’s is the best tea I’ve had, not even mentioning the price. But as you walk in it looks like a million bucks. I didn’t stay here, but I can’t imagine how good the service is after how well I’ve been treated as well as I have been. It’s just a remarkable place.

This place is amazing. The history is unreal. Every president has stayed here up until Obama. Elvis had stayed here. The architecture and artwork is stunning. Employees are very attentive. Highly recommended.

I accidentally booked a room through Expedia and within minutes I realized I booked for today instead of tomorrow. I called the hotel immediately and Expedia as well and they will not refund all of even part of the over 200 dollar room. I am very disappointed. It was an honest mistake and was hoping I would be able to help my husband celebrate his 40th birthday and unfortunately now we won’t be able to. It’s a shame. I know I should have looked closer but like I said, honest mistake, I wouldn’t have requested a room at 830 at night.

Reminder of what an elegant service-oriented hotel should be! The fact that there are many long-term staff shows how they value quality service and what a special place it is. It takes you back to a different time while still having up-to-date amenities, excellent food and spa.

Great place had our daughters wedding there perfect place. Mickie was amazing helping us to have a great wedding day. The wedding dinner was also great. Would highly recommend. Thank you Pfister Hotel.

I'm not even sure I have the space to convey what a wonderful experience the Pfister was this weekend. My wife and I were there to celebrate my birthday, and give me a break from the many overtime hours I work as an RN. The room was amazing — — loved the huge tub, which gave me an opportunity to soak my overworked bones. The view of beautiful Milwaukee was amazing. The friendly and efficient staff was unparalleled. We ate at two different restaurants in the hotel and I was floored by both the food and the service. Since we have a child in college, a weekend like this is a big extravagance, and I'm happy to say that it was totally worth it. We took advantage of a package deal that included a visit to the wonderful Milwaukee Art Museum and both food and drink vouchers. We can't wait for our next chance to spend another weekend at the Pfister.

It was my first time going to the Pfister Hotel and my experience there could not be better. I was only there to look at the venues they had for a wedding since I plan to be getting married soon. The place was gorgeous, the service was amazing and I had a chance to look at the rooms and I was left in aw. Pricing is through the roof though but with that said you pay for what you get and what you get is phenomenal.

We have a group of about 10 who attend the Mother's Day brunch at the Pfister for the past several years. It's very nice. Very good selection of foods. The only complaint is they are a little slow on drink refills. Overall, we really enjoy it — — we keep coming back.

I'm friends with the owner and have known him and his mom forever and they are the sweetest people and I'm so glad he opened it right next to my house!

Our first stay in the tower was nice. My most recent stay I booked a room in the historic part of the hotel WITH a view (spent extra for it). When I got to the room there was a sheet of plastic taped over the windows… Ok I let it slide. Later I realize the AC doesn't work and it is hot. I call down and they send a guy up who tells us AC is not on in the building yet and cracks a window. Below us are a bunch of giant dumpsters. Smelly and we begin to hear people yelling and partying. No biggie. Then… Fridge doesn't work, TV picture cuts in and out… I go to call down again… phone doesn't have a dial tone. I call from my cellphone and not only does nothing get resolved… but no one offered to credit or accommodate me for anything. Not staying here again.

We were there for a wedding. The décor and ambiance was terrific. The food was probably the best wedding food we have ever eaten. The employees were all very gracious and accommodating. It was very enjoyable experience.

Attended a fundraiser event at The Pfister, and found the accommodations impeccable as usual. The staff, including the provided bartenders, was polite, helpful, and professional. The 7th floor banquet halls are luxurious and give a real touch of class. We hold our evebt here every year and The Pfister always helps make it a success.

This hotel is great. It's beautiful inside and out. So much history. The staff is great. The Blu Room is a lot of fun although on the weekend it gets very busy so be prepared to wait. I'd definitely stay again.

Beautiful accommodations and wonderfully helpful staff. We had drinks at Blue on the 23rd, had dinner at Mason Street Grill, and breakfast at the Cafe, all inside the Pfister. It was a wonderful one night much needed getaway from daily grind and time to focus on spousehood. Internet was remarkably slow and costing extra was the only real downside to the whole stay, but we weren't there to sit on Facebook, so it was actually nice.

Staff were very nice, and the hotel and rooms were beautiful. But after visits from 2 engineers, we still couldn't get our room temperature below 75 degrees. It actually was closer to 80 for most of our stay. My wife and I like our rooms in the high 60s, so this was very unpleasant to sleep in. I guess the building has steam heat that couldn't be turned off or something. We got some breakfast vouchers for our trouble, but that didn't nearly make up for having to sweat through the night. Would've loved to give the place a good review, but the heat issue ruined our stay.

Our stay at the Pfister was brief, but enjoyabpe. The attached parking garage is convenient, staff was friendly, and the rooms were lovely. Spacious and updated with a more luxurious feel than most hotel rooms. I would stay again.

The pfister was great, great old building with a lot of great art and a friendly staff. The room was spacious. My only complaint is that the walls are paper thin. Woke up to the couple next to us havin really loud sex. Sounded like they were just in the room.

Stayed in room 804 with my partner overnight. The staff were courteous and concerned with our comfort. If you have the money to splurge, I highly recommend the heritage or grand heritage suites. Everything was lovely and there were no unexpected charges. My only slight complaint is that the thermostat for the bedroom was difficult to locate.

We love the Pfister, it is an iconic landmark in Milwaukee. A work-related stay this week topped the cake. Tuesday night, we checked in before a long day of conferring at another hotel. The check in process was simple and the hotel was fairly quiet. Imagine my surprise when I was upgraded (without asking! ) to a king suite. When asked what provoked this, I was told that management tries to appreciate their guests when possible. They were successful! A great surprise was Blu, the bar on the 23rd floor. After minimally 5 stays over the years, imagine my shock in finally discovering Blu. Stunning views from this expansive view bar that featured stunning panoramic views of Lake Michigan. Also new at Blu was piano music and a small complimentary food bar. Our server, Allison, did a fantastic job keeping our cocktails filled. The room was extremely comfortable, bed was FANTASTIC (and I am a Temperpedic snob! ) and the down blankets/pillows were perfect. Great job Pfister — you get better with age.

Never wrote a review before — but the niceness of the hotel and the incredible service made me have to. First of all, it is really ornate and historical, but you're hoping the rooms aren't all old — and they weren't! The room we had was in the tower and it was newly remodeled, fancy modern bathroom with walk in shower. But to top off — when we checked in it was super busy with Pro baseball team checking in at same time. The service desk employee, Morgan, still small talked with us — to see we were pregnant and celebrating our anniversary with the stay. We got back from dinner — just really tired — but then found a plate of chocolate covered strawberries with happy anniversary written in chocolate, sparkling cider on ice, and a note from Morgan from the service desk congratulating us and even knowing what year anniversary it was. Impressive service.

It was a 5 star, now its a 1 star. A great stay and very fancy. But, we were given a night as a gift certificate. We were told, when booking, that a $40 hold was going to be put on our credit card when actually it was the full rate ($300) + $40. We we called to check if there was the confusion. We were greeted with an emotionless and dry woman who abruptly hung up on us. I don't understand the concept of a gift certificate if you have to pay to use it. Some aspect of insurance on their end is understandable, but a full rate hold is ridiculous.

What a magnificent hotel! Though I didn't stay here, I attended a wedding in one of the ballrooms. It was amazingly ornate and breathtaking. I would definitely stay here when I return to this fine city.

An outstanding hotel with a first rate steak restaurant. I was very surprised and happy with this outfit and can highly recommend it to fellow travelers. Warning its not cheap but it is worth every penny.

This place is amazing! So luxurious and fancy! And all of the employees are extremely nice and very helpful! I heard a bunch of past presidents, including John F. Kennedy, up to Obama have stayed in this hotel! And now I can see why! :D This is rated a 4 Diamond Hotel, and I don't disagree! Amazing! I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an awesome stay.
