This place is AMAZING! Going to make it our regular place to stay!

Rented this space for 14 family members to stay for my son’s wedding. It was a perfect setup. Beautiful, unique accommodations. Well stocked kitchen, super comfortable beds, quiet private bedrooms. Couldn't possibly recommend a place more. Everything you could want in a bed & breakfast. Every detail was perfect. The building was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, wonderful location, perfect service. My only regret is that we could only stay one night. Will certainly return.

Stayed two nights in the blue room. Beautifully furnished, comfortable room with all updated bathroom/shower. Friendly, helpful owners. Located in historic neighborhood that used to be old Ohio City, now seems to be a growing arts community. Seems to be convenient to most 'tourist' places in the area, local restaurants and some breweries. A wonderful change from the same old hotels but you do have to be able to climb stairs. I loved the stay.

Don’t trust these owners. We needed extended stay (early check in and late checkout) which they were very accommodating with. But, They also put us in apartment 4 which I don’t think was the part of B&B and the whole thing appeared a bit shady. Then the owner accused me (2 days later via email) of bringing a dog with me when I clearly did not. Either be available to let people in and check them out or trust them. If you trust people to check in and check out on their own then don’t accuse them wrongly. Other vacationers please be careful if you plan to stay here.

My husband and I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and we decided to try this one out for our time in Cleveland. The house was very clean and cozy. The amenities were great as well. We had our own spacious bathroom in our room and TV with cable. There was a Keurig in the kitchen/dining area for coffee any time. There was a nice continental style breakfast every morning that included bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal and milk, juice and fresh fruit. They also had security cameras facing the private parking lot; which made me feel better about leaving our car there all day while we toured the city. The location of Stone Gables was within a nice neighborhood. It was also within walking distance from some very nice restaurants or a quick Uber ride to downtown. Connie was so amazing! She always went out of her way to make us feel right at home! We had a wonderful stay here and would recommend Stone Gables to anybody traveling to Cleveland. We already want to go back to Cleveland and we will definitely being staying at Stone Gables when we do!

A very thoughtful and charming bed and breakfast. It’s close to just about everything. Kelli will welcome you enthusiastically and make you feel right at home. We will certainly stay again. Unfortunately, we couldn’t join for breakfast but the table was set beautifully. Also—the mattress is divine!

What a pleasant surprise! I fell in love with Stone Gables… such a beautiful structure that's filled with character! A warm, inviting atmosphere that's super welcoming! The rooms were very spacious & extremely comfortable. Within a mile of the places we needed to go. Rates affordable. Not much to compliment about breakfast as options were cereal or a muffin… which was disappointing & is my only constructive criticism. Although, Connie & her husband were very attentive. Don't stay at a sterile, cold & boring hotel. Go to Stone Gables for an experience!

Our first visit to a bed and breakfast and we loved Stone Gables. A beautiful home with comfortable rooms each having their own separate bathrooms. Jeff and Connie were wonderful hosts. It's conveniently located to many restaurants, shops and local breweries. We are definitely coming back. Can't go wrong with Stone Gables. It's a great location and it's clear a lot of care and effort goes into ensuring a great stay.

Stayed 4 days, three nights. House was amazing and clean, Kelli was accommodating, sweet, and made a killer breakfast each morning that we were there. Absolutely love it and can’t wait to go back!

Stone Gables was an amazing! The Bed and Breakfast had beautiful old charm that transported you back in time but updated enough to be comfortable and inviting. It was SUPER clean and homey. Connie and her staff outdid themselves with hospitality and efficiency. Every detail was meticulously crafted and executed brilliantly. It was just my husband and I but it would be perfect for a big group as well! Every time we come to Cleveland we will be staying Here! If I could give it more stars I would!

Good people, clean rooms, and the breakfast was really good too. Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Cleveland.

This is the best place to stay in Ohio city. It's a short walk to all the great bars and restaurants around and the owners are super nice. The accommodations are normal for a bed and breakfast in a really cool huge historic house.

This is a wonderful, friendly and centrally-located B&B in a beautiful neighborhood. The hosts and other guests were lovely people, and Stone Gables is two blocks from the bus, which can take you right downtown in about 8 minutes. It is in Ohio City, which is a fun neighborhood with lots of good restaurants. It is also near the beach, and has easy access to the interstate. Very quiet rooms. Nice TVs. And it is easy to come and go. I was arriving a bit late, and it was no problem at all. I will definitely stay here again.

Needed a place to stay while visiting family in the area. Great B&B — reasonable prices, lovely rooms, great location — walking distance from the hip parts of Ohio City. Don't miss eating at Momocho — Connie was a great host and recommended it, SUCH good food. Connie also helped me out when I needed a place last minute when I was on the road and could only text; easy as pie, I had a key waiting for my midnight arrival. Would be back in a heartbeat.

Great place to stay when visiting Cleveland. Nice restaurants nearby. Friendly owners and clean comfortable rooms. I recommend this place.

I reserved a few nights here last week. I was very much looking for some needed privacy and time for myself. Luckily for me, Connie accommodated my evening reservation and later arrival. I was immediately taken with the beautiful space, fantastic safe location and Connie's positive energy and her excitement as the new proprietor. My room was gorgeous and incredibly comfy. The b&b was so clean, yet homey. I had a great nights rest. The next morning I had a very nice breakfast and was able to meet Connie's energetic staff member. These two women are powerhouses! They each have a great attitude, exude warmth and an evident love of what they are doing. Really impressive. The combination of the beautiful Stonegables property, the unbeatable breakfasts and hospitality/tlc by owner and her staff member made this a phenomenal stay. I wholeheartedly trust all will have a great stay, such as I did. Book here… a feast for eyes, stomach and soul. Enjoy!

Beautiful rooms, close to everything including downtown Cleveland.

My husband and I recently spent a day and night in Cleveland. Our night was spent at Stone Gables. When we arrived at the Stone Gables B&B we were enthusiastically welcomed at the door by Connie. As it turned out, Connie had just become the new owner of the B&B on Friday and we were her very first guests (arriving on Monday)! Although Connie may be new to the B&B business, she is a skilled conversationalist who clearly enjoys meeting people and helping them find great places to visit in the City. Our visit included a terrific lunch at the Great Lakes Brewery and a fun day strolling through the R & R Hall of Fame. We later headed to Lola's Bistro for an exceptional dinner! Connie and her husband recommended topping the evening off with a visit to the Collision Bend Brewery down on the river. Sitting on the deck watching the barges go under the bridges and hearing the trains move along while sipping a wine/beer was the perfect ending to this quick Cleveland stop-over. In the morning, Connie served a beautiful breakfast including excellent coffee, plentiful fresh fruit and yummy waffle bites with glaze and maple syrup (optional). Next time we are in this area we will have no trouble deciding where to stay… Stone Gables B&B is now on our list of places to return to. Plus… we found there is much more to see and do in Cleveland than we ever realized!

Cozy and comfortable. Within walking distance of a lot of cool places, including Jacob's Pavilion. No extra fees for parking or breakfast, and the breakfast was homemade and delicious. They were also accommodating to dietary restrictions. Owners are very friendly and genuinely care whether or not you're comfortable. Definitely recommend :)

What a great get away! Clean and very well kept up. Just a short walk to downtown Ohio City with lots of bars and restaurants. Free parking behind the house is a plus! Great breakfast made… homemade by the owner Richard in the morning. Snacks and drinks available during the day and evening. Will definitely visit again!

This place was amazing… A home away from home… Owner was amazing, bed's comfy and the French toast breakfast… Wow… Recommend to anyone in the Cleveland area… Will he coming back again for sure.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. This review is long over due, although we are Cleveland locals we stayed here planning an evening in Ohio city. A welcoming host, tastefully decorated rooms, private bath. Delicious gourmet french toast breakfast. There is an added upstairs sitting room. It was nice to have a wonderful selection of Teas and cocoa to fend off winter's chill. -Truly a home away from home.

Second time at Stone Gables. Richard is a great host. Breakfast was delicious and is within walking distance of Ohio City. Will go back for sure.

Very nice B&B. Rooms were warm for my sleeping taste. Otherwise a great experience.

We rented the whole place for our family to come and celebrate our daughter's graduation from the masters program at the college of Weatherhead at Case Western. There were eleven of us total and more than enough room for privacy and gathering together. Richard is a wonderful, delightful host. He was very accommodating on our breakfast hours (some early risers and some not) and the meals were wonderful. Although the house is full of beautiful antiques, we were not at all uncomfortable or worried about what the children would do to the furniture. We had a marvelous time. Made some good memories with our family. I would highly recommend it. My bed was to die for!

I found Stone Gables online, went to the website, explored the whole place and I was sold on it being a great way to spend several days in Cleveland. I had no idea how good it would be. The exterior is epic. Old world look surrounded by lush gardens. The first step inside I thought of home, the smell of Apple/Cinnamon, classic furniture / carpet in a dimly lit hallway and the piano, decor, design and art work completed a very upscale place to stay. We stayed in the Red Room. Everything in the room made feel less like guests and more like family. Having our own bathroom added to an already great beginning. The bed was high quality as were the linens. We slept soundly. Breakfast the next morning was homemade by Richard personally for us and it was delish. Then he sat and ate with us and gave us great tips on things to do in Cleveland. We followed his tips and had a wonderful time. Richard defines what a perfect host is. He treated us like his family and when we come back we will look at no other place as this was the best travel experience we've had.

Wonderful B&B run by a very nice man. Well worth the money. If you choose to stay be sure to get the carrot cake waffles for breakfast, They were delicious.

What a delight to stay at this restored mansion. Clean rooms — we were on the third floor and had a 2-room suite. Graciously decorated without clutter. Breakfasts were delicious. Within walking distance of interesting Ohio City restaurants, the West Side Market and an easy drive into the city for theatre and galleries. Will definitely return!
