Very nice and clean place. Optional breakfast delivered to your room for only less than 5$.
Having done plenty of cross country drives and stayed in more than my fair share of motels — everything from the big chains to privately owned holes in the wall — I can confidently say that My Place is miles better than the next best motel. The price is on par with Motel 6 or Super 8, but the rooms have better amenities (kitchens with full size fridges and small appliances! ) and are astonishingly clean. The lobby area has free coffee 24/7 and even a store, where you can purchase necessities, snacks, frozen meals, and even cookware if you prefer to make fresh food in your room. There is a small additional fee for pets, but there are multiple doggy bag stations outside and plenty of well-maintained grass. I was also surprised to find an outdoor patio area with plenty of seating and a grill. My Place feels much more like staying in a hotel than your standard budget motel experience. Big shout-out to the friendly staff too, who went above and beyond to make us and our dog feel welcome!
