For as inexpensive as this hotel was it was a great place to stay the beds were comfortable the rooms were clean they are conditioning was great the staff was helpful the breakfast was good and I was able to do a load of laundry as well great place to rest from the road.

Friendly service… not very good breakfast but worth your money.

Was upset to find out they no longer had a lounge or restaurant.

Friendly staff, Rudy helped me get ice at 1 AM. Super cool fella… clean rooms at a great price and the pool was clean. It didnt open until 8 but it was really nice.

Location, room, service was great 2nd time I've stayed in this hotel.

Nice place, they were in the middle of a major renovation so the upstairs rooms were all blocked off. Nice indoor pool, and pool area. Restaurant and Lounge weren't open. Not sure if of was due to the renovations or lack of business.

Not so nice rooms. Not in a nice location. Barely conveniently located. Employees were polite though. Overall 1 star.

Good location, good rooms for price, breakfast was a little scarce however.

Older building, but inside is clean and comfortable. The bar/ restaurant is closed now : (but it still has a nice pool and hot tub and a pool table which is awesome. I'd stay her again.

The bathroom was not clean. Space between tub and tile was filled with dirt. Tile missing behind door was filled with dirt. Bathroom sink was plugged. Electrical strips were very dirty. Especially one behind the bed stand. Very dirty also. Staff is very friendly. Customer service was good.

I understand you get what you pay for. But there were other newer hotels for the same price that I’m now regretting not staying at. At check in I wouldn’t by any means have said customer service was bad but it wasn’t anything to praise. The gal at the front desk acted annoyed with me and clearly didn’t want to be at work. Whatever no big deal. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are comfortable. The hot tub and pool are so salty though you feel like your swimming in the ocean except the hot tub melts your skin off and the pool feels like it could give you hypothermia. At bedtime we go to watch TV and it doesn’t work. Just static. I kindly call down to the front desk and ask if we could trade TVs with a vacant neighboring room and she said we could switch rooms. I said that we were settled and in bed and just wanted a working TV. She told Me “hmmm” “well” and “eh, they wouldn’t approve of that” and I said well can you bring me a working TV then and she said “no”. I expressed that I was extremely annoyed about her non shalantness of it all and she said “oh” and I got mad and hung up. That is absolutely ridiculous. It’s an amentinity I paid for and fully expected the hotel to be accommodating. This experience alone is enough to make me never stay here or recommend this hotel EVER AGAIN!

Nice rooms and restaurant was not to bad friendly people.

The steak was cooked perfectly. I didn't know the restaurant existed. Great place, I would recommend it.

They were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and management was very nice. I enjoyed my stay.

The inside of the rooms are a little dated but the beds are super soft! The staff is awesome. I would gladly stay here again!

The staff were kind and helpful. The food was cooked very well. The bar could make just about any drink. Overall, a great experience.

This is our third visit to the Kelly Inn and we love it. The room is absolutely beautiful, the bed is BEYOND awesome and the staff are lovely. We will definitely return.

Very nice place. The staff are calm, hospitable and attentive. Set back from the road (near the Capitol building) so very quiet. Rooms are spacious, clean and have the most comfortable beds I've come across in years. The indoor pool and hot tub were great especially when out was 90+ degrees outside. The morning continental breakfast was more like a real hot breakfast and provided in their restaurant area. This is the best value for the price I've experienced.

I tried kelly inn since its dog friendly. Very good experience and loved the spa and pool. Only down side was that in the morning after I flushed the toilet, a sewage aroma emanated from it and remained until I left a couple of hours later. I informed the inn staff and they said it would be checked.

Didn't realize until 6 am that there was no hot water to the tub. Had hot water to the bathroom sink. Let the water to the tub run for about 10 minutes and still lukewarm at best. Also didn't realize the coffee machine in the room couldn't make coffee as it was missing the pod holder for the coffee. And we only had one to-go coffee cup. The bathroom was not super clean. The bed was soft and we like really firm. We stopped at the front desk at 6.30 and no one was around. We waited about 10 minutes, even called the phone to see if that would get someone to show up and no one did.

Do not get room on West side of building in summer. Ac will not keep room cool till after sun goes down. Key card didn't always work to open door. Bathroom door had took some work to close. My sister had different room and their bathroom toilet never shut off, and controls for shower broke off. Free breakfast was typical for mid range hotel but the one day I went ran low on food. I had to go to front desk and ask for more food for other guests that came to eat. Will NOT stay here again.

Everything was good when we first arrived on the 4th of July. Plans was to check out the 6th of July. First problem was when we asked the housekeeper for clean sheets after we realized we were going to stay the night one more time. The housekeeper was rude to my BF, she had the nerve to say, "you know we don't put clean sheets on everyday? " Lazy much. What's the big deal? We are paying customers. She could have gave us the sheets and we do it our selves. Anyways, called the front desk. Complained and the manager at the time or whoever it was, said she would do some thing about it. She complained to my mother. She was paying for our room. PS if you live in Bismarck, can't get a room. Big deal there also. Ridiculous. Only Kelly Inn in Bismarck gives rooms too outsiders. What's the point of this? I had OBGYN appts to attend. Big deal about sheets. We did get our sheets, noticed after we returned from errands couple hours later. Easy enough. So if you stay longer than 2 nights, watch it, they might complain about sheets. The next problem? Around 6 pm, a lady calls the room on the 6th, rude and sassy about we didn't pay for the room. Explained yeah we did, very rude. Attitude. My mother calls, and gets everything fixed. Apparently she got the number of the room mixed up. 124 customer didn't pay. We were in 154. I won't stay here anymore. Unless I need too. Good beds, food, and room over all. Hassle on service from house keepers and managers/workers from the front desk.

This is the motel my company has us stay in… Three days with no maid service and the corporate billing is always screwed up. Had to use other means of payment and it is a big hassle. They charged my company card and the corporate booking service as well all three times we have been there. The beds are nice and soft, but the Air conditioning needs work…

Room was fantastic, especially the mattress. The customer service was not so good though. We were arriving late, around 3am, and before we reserved a room we asked if a late checkout was possible, the lady at the front desk said we could check out at 2pm. Then when we got there there was a different person at the front desk and refused a late checkout, saying the latest we could check out was noon. Barely got any sleep…

Best hotel! And pool with salty water is my favorite! Amazing service and not a too big price!

I've stayed there a few times and will be retuning next week again. The rooms are clean and service good.

Beds are always very comfortable. My window had a leak so it messed with the heat. But still always good experience there. The new breakfast was good!

I stayed here while traveling. We didn't have reservations as it was a, pull over when we couldn't drive anymore and find a room, type of situation. My son was in a wheelchair so we were given a handicap accessible room. The room had a smell about it… like someone set off a flea bomb. I checked it over good and it was very clean. I dismissed this thinking since it's a handicap room perhaps they routinely flea bomb due to service dogs? Idk, it was kinda bothersome but I overlooked it. We were tired and went to bed. The beds were very very comfortable and we slept great. Probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in in a hotel. I can't comment on anything else as we showered and hit the road right away in the morning. I'd definitely stay here again. A hotel with a a good bed is hard to find and afterall, we stay in hotels to sleep :)

Place was clean & comfy. First thing I did was check 4 bed bugs, lol. It passed the test. The room was clean & smoke free. Bed was nice & soft. I would have gave it a 5 star but I didnt check out the rest of hotel. I would stay again 4 sure.

I called about making a reservation and was put on hold to see if they had any availabilities for a weekend. When the receptionist got back on the phone I stated we were having a birthday party for our 10 year old son, having a few friends (2) and going swimming during our stay. She then inclined they do not do birthday parties and she could not make the reservation! All we wanted to do is check into Kelly Inn and have a nice stay and swim and Sunday enjoy the brunch at Minerva's. I am very disappointed at this and so is my son as this was his first choice among many.

The room is clean, the bed comfortable, and the service at the front desk was exceptional. I would recommend this place to friends.

Im glad I didnt read all the reviews before I booked. I wad afraid with all the oil drilling that I wouldnt find a room. I called my brother in wisconsin and asked him to gind me a decent room. I ended up here. My room was clean, the beds and pillows were super comfy. The only complaint was the temp knob on the air conditioner was broke off. But it was no big deal! Id stay here again.

Were it not for their cancelation policy I would be leaving immediately, as mentioned by another review once you book you can't get out of it no matter what. I have changed rooms twice already due to the smoke smell which the hotel claims is because the building is old. Also if you want to check out after 11 they will gladly let you do it for $35 an hour. I would never recommend anyone staying here nor will I ever stay here again. There are many other hotels in town please do not make the same mistake I did and stay here. Perhaps that is why I literally found bugs in my bed. As you can tell their customer service is seemingly nonexistent. I challenge the kelly inn management to not only read these reviews but do something about it immediately.

Hotel rooms are average. Facility is ok. Front desk staff below average. I walked through the front door with my luggage in tow, only to wait at the front desk to someone to show up. Apparently the front desk clerk had to finish her cigarette first before waiting on me. She was hanging out at the front door with the rest of the smoking buddies. When she realized that I was waiting, her comment was, "you didn't wait long did you? ". Gee. I thought a customer shouldn't have to wait at all. Anways, they could take some lessons from the resteraunt staff where I had breakfast twice. They were fast, courteous, and the breakfast was great.

I do not recommend staying at this Kelly Inn if you have smoke allergies. When I got there, check-in was smooth. Went up to my room walked in to the supposedly Non-Smoking room and was hit immediately by a strong smoke smell. I called down to the front desk and asked if I could get a different room. The front desk person said "that is not possible right now. " I guess he was to busy talking to Bar Manager. I went down to the front desk and could not find the Manager on Duty. So I got to stay in the room that was a smokey room. Poor customer service. When I checked out this morning, I complained about it again, and there was no attempt to apologize about the room or a discount. Very Poor Customer Service. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again. I would rather sleep in my car.
