The hotel itself is nice; the rooms where better than we expected, spacious and clean. The pool and fitness area are nice as well. Upon arrival the spa did not work but they had it resolved withing a few minutes. Breakfast was nice although a bit overcooked. Not too impressed with the staff it's like they pick and choose who to provide that excellent customer service to; I noticed that they tended to be more friendly, accommodating and helpful to the gust that "looked" a cert…ain way… being that I have over a large portion of my body I did not "fit the description" and therefore felt that I was not treated to the same level of customer service; I even had one attendant ask me if I was lost as if to imply that I did not belong there in spite of my weekend reservation that I paid for!

The room is super clean and comfortable. Suitable for the family. Swimming pool clean and big. I recommend this place to everyone.

Facility décor – Excellent Service – Excellent Food — Excellent Hotel Room — Excellent Pricing – $$$ Expensive Great hotel with hug bedrooms and awesome breakfast. Located right in downtown Minneapolis so you can walk to everything. However, the parking garage in this hotel is a little tricky. Because the garage is very small with lots of pillars, so the parking space width is very narrow. If someone cant park and park over the line, it is very difficult to park next to it. But it is right under the hotel so I can live with it.

I stayed at this Hyatt Place location three nights over a weekend in August. The hotel lobby is a couple floors up on top of a convince store. The interior of the hotel was clean and generic. The format didn't seem as fresh as the other Hyatt Place branded locations where I've stayed. Saturday morning was busy. The breakfast area was full of Vikings fans attending the game that afternoon. The new Vikings stadium is a short number of blocks away. We had a view of the stadium from our room. The included breakfast was decent. Standard cereals, breads, fruit and yogurt. The hot section had scrabbled eggs, bacon, and alternating pancakes and waffles. The breakfast area is pretty big and opens up two serving sides based on occupancy. The Wi-Fi was decent. I appreciated a late check out and free daily bottled water included with my Hyatt status. We made use of the nearby Nice Bike station to make our way around town.

Great sized rooms. Ours was a standard double queen — — has a room with the 2 beds and TV, bathroom in the middle and then a little lounge area with desk, tv, mini fridge, pullout couch and a chair. Amazing location if you are going anywhere downtown (we were able to walk to US Bank Stadium and Target Field). Free breakfast (much to choose from). Very clean, quiet, pleasant staff and has much to offer. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Great hotel. Clean. Great views although there seems to be some new buildings going up soon, so who knows how long those views will be available. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was excellent for being a hotel breakfast. Parking sucked. Tiny spaces. But not worth saying it wasnt overall a great stay.

Extremely clean and well situated close to downtown. The free breakfast is very well appointed and filling. We didn't even know the room we reserved had a living room area complete with another television set, desk and sofabed.

Pretty ghetto for a Hyatt. Will not stay again. Neighborhood was pretty unsavory, which was a surprise for any Hyatt brand. There is a convenience store on the street level that seemed to have a drug deal going down in front of when we arrived. A girl at the front desk was having to tell kids to leave as they rode their bikes through the lobby. Rooms are large and well laid out for work. Hence the two stars.

Hotel located quite centrally in Minneapolis downtown area. It offers a parking lot in an underground garage, which can be used for 6 hours after checkout. Perfect for exploring the city while waiting for the plane or so. The rooms are good sized and tidy. Personal is friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a rotating offer during the week. All in all a good stay.

Clean, spacious rooms. Could use another sink by the fridge, but that's nitpicking. Great, well-stocked hot breakfast with several options. Front desk staff was attentive and helpful guiding us through downtown. Pool area also had 2 hot tubs & a generous workout room. Guests were a mix of vacationing families and business travelers. Highly recommend this location.

The rooms are big and comfortable but there is one BIG issue! It is HOT! The A/C is not cold enough. I talked to the front desk and they sent a technician but he said we got lucky with this room because it was one of the coldest. There has to be an issue with the A/C system. Besides that I will give the hotel a 5 star.

Front desk personnel were very courteous. The room was clean and a good size with a refrigerator, and the complementary breakfast was excellent. The bartender gave us perfect advice of where to see the fireworks. Close to restaurants, downtown, convention center, and US Bank stadium, plus easy access to the train. We ate at the hotel restaurant a couple of days and it was a good price for the portions. Only reason 4 stars — no safe in the room which I prefer when traveling.

It has been a fantastic place and surprising for the price point! Updated and comfy. We had a minor issue, and they were quick to fix us and accommodate us to our needs.

From the moment I entered the lobby, I had nothing short of an amazing experience. Rudy and Jessica especially took care to acclimate me to Minneapolis. Although I was only in town three days for work; Rudy strongly recommended I familiarize myself with the skyway. My room which I refer to as my apartment (see photos! ) was SPOTLESS! A special thank you to housekeeping and the houseman who brought extra towels when needed. Guess where I am staying when I return in 6 months.

Pros: The location was great, we used the metro and sky walk to get everywhere we wanted to go. Made it to a Twins game and Mall of America. The room was nice and plenty of room for all 6 of us. Cons: parking was not ideal, we traveled with an SUV and a cargo topper for our luggage. We now have to buy a new topper and the parking garage was not tall enough and busted ours. We did not see clearance signs that indicated that we would not be able to fit. It should be clearly posted. Also, the pool and hot tub were dirty and my child age 10 refused to use it. If a child refuses a pool it must need some work.

Had an excellent stay at Hyatt Place. Had a suite room which was very large and spacious and has plenty of beds for our larger group. The whole place was very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was very good and had solid options available. Would definitely stay again.

This establishment's staff was some of the most rude, challenging staff I've ever dealt with. I understand company policies, but what I do not understand is rude, judgemental communication from employees after my friends and I were nothing but respectful and rule abiding. Multiple times we were treated as if we weren't actually patrons of this place, or that we couldn't possibly be staying there. I was forced to wait outside until my friend brought out a key card to prove we were staying there, even after I gave the room number and name holder of the room. Granted it was after 11 pm, and like I said previously I understand company policy, but room number and room holder name should be sufficient info especially after this specific manager had seen us multiple times throughout the day/evening. I will not be staying here ever again, and will be sure not to direct friends and family your way. Have a pleasant day.

I've never been treated as rudely by a business as I was treated by the staff at the Hyatt Place in Downtown Minneapolis. While waiting for my friends to finish getting ready in their room I attempted to sit at the bar for a glass of wine. After no less than 15 minutes it was very clear the manager (whom repeatedly glared on our direction) instructed the bartender to avoid our end of the bar so that we could not order a drink. At 11:57 pm a bartender approached us (without so much as a menu) and rudely demanded our order after informing us we had 3 minutes before he would close. By this time we had no interest in spending our money at your establishment. Over the next 10 minutes we watched several other guests sit at the bar, receive prompt service, menus, and drinks. It was very clear the bar was not in fact closed, we just were not welcome. I am a well spoken, polite, and friendly person. At this time I was freshly showered and sober. I would hate to see how this staff treats other people. To say I'm disappointed would be a gross understatement. I am disgusted by this experience.

Room was set up well for 3 adults. Separate sleeping areas. Could have had a better view. Mostly windows of other big buildings. Clean, crisp, business-like appearance but very comfortable, spacious, updated bathroom.

We had 2 adults and 2 children staying in a King size bed option. Plenty of room to move around, the kids loved the sofa sleeper, and we never felt like there wasn't enough room. The breakfast option is worth it, make sure you get up from 7-10am on Saturday and Sunday to catch breakfast. The fitness center was a decent size, I was able to get my 5k run in on the Lift Fitness treadmill. One very important thing, don't hesitate to take the $20 per night underground parking, it seems like expensive but you have in and out privileges. I used spot hero (app) and was able to get cheaper options but no in and out option. The pool is a decent size and there are two hot tubs. I will highly consider staying here again if I am given a good rate.

A very nice a quiet place. This is the second time my Fiancee' and I have been here and we've enjoyed it both times. The clientele is more adult and business-folk which gives it a nice atmosphere for anyone looking to spend a quiet time in the cities. The only downside is that the water pressure in the room shower is quite low. The included breakfast was wonderful, the underground parking was very reasonable ($20 a night) and the access to the skyway is well worth it for anyone not used to the cold Minnesota weather. Will definitely be coming back again.

We booked a king suite for 3 days. The suite was booked specially to have a place to put our 8 month old for naps and separate him from the rest of the family in the evenings. Upon entering our room we noticed it smelled like smoke. We called down and they told us they wouldn’t move us, so they brought their air purifying machine. As we were in the room, smoke would suddenly start flooding the room, so it was clear someone near us was actively smoking. After numerous calls to the front desk, nothing was done. We were simply offered an apology. We had to follow up and ask to be moved to following morning once more rooms opened, it was not offered to us. We love Hyatt hotels so this was a very disappointing experience.

Located close to Hennepin Medical. It's an easy walk for an conference. US Bank stadium is around the corner. I lucked out and got a two bedroom suite upgrade; shame it was just me. The staff were very pleasant. The bar was passable. Fortunately there's no regular bar scene. It is a little weird that you have to go up 7 or 8 floors to get to the hotel.

We are in the Hyatt place Minneapolis, my husband's suitcase was stolen with computer passport money etc. The Apple Watch the keys of my car everything by a man who went in our room pretending to be my husband, everything was recorded in the cameras and the manager Bethany only says they can not do anything that the
Hotel is not responsible for what is inside the room. Hyatt is supposed to be a chain of responsible hotels but they are not I called the headquarters and they do not know what to do, practically says that it is not on their hands… so in who hands is it? Is this the security they have for the Super Bowl?

Friendly staff in the bar, and the breakfast buffet. Stayed 3 nights, and all 3 mornings the breakfast was busy, but replenished quickly and kept clean. The pool was nice as well. Also, the happy hour prices are unbeatable. $3.50 apps and $3.25 cocktails from 4-7pm? With friendly bartenders? Sign me up. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms were really nice and so was the hotel in general. Every one was so nice. The only negative I would say is that the rooms was too hot and there was no way for us to control it.

We stayed here for our annual Christmas family vacation from 12/26-12/29! We brought our fur baby with us! The hotel was so beautiful! The staff was great! The breakfast tasted amazing! Definitely recommend this hotel for your entire family!

What a wonderful and fantastic place to stay! Very comfortable and clean. Our room had 2 queen beds plus a wonderful sitting room with a couch. Excellent and hugh selection for breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was very clean, complimentary breakfast was great, hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, parking was easy and convenient! We would stay again! We were only really disappointed the pool was under renovation when we stayed because that was the main reason we picked this hotel, so it was frustrating.

A clean quiet hotel with a delicious breakfast buffet. Connected to the Skywalk is an advantage for Hyatt Place. I would rate it 5 stars, but they closed their pool for remodeling with no notice.

I am absolutely disgusted with our stay at this hotel. Woke up to a COCKROACH crawling towards the bed. I immediately called the front desk and said to get someone to our room immediately and did not have anyone come up for over a HALF HOUR! We ended up killing the cockroach ourselves and while doing so we found a beer can and other garbage that had been shoved under the bed. (Not from us! ) My husband and I were so disgusted it was hard to even get ready and get out of there. When we went to check out the lady said she could pay for our parking but couldn’t discount the room until I spoke up and said there is absolutely NO WAY we are paying for that room. Then she was able to make a few calls and refund the room to us. They literally acted like this was no big deal which to me means it has happened before which is absolutely unacceptable and so gross! To top it off the walls are sooo thin you could hear everything in the rooms next to you. Needless to say we will never stay at a Hyatt Hotel again. I am not one to leave reviews but I always check reviews before booking a hotel and I would certainly want to know if a place had cockroaches before I stepped foot in there.

Spoiler alert. The pool and hot tub are down and will be for weeks or months. There are no microwaves in rooms. The "fitness center" is a joke. It is clean enough. The people are nice enough. It is just badly in need of upgrades. And to continue to advertise that they have a pool is just plain dishonest.

Upon arriving at the front desk of the hotel late at night, we were greeted by the friendly receptionists who told us where we could venture out to see the city at night and the following morning. (Spoonbridge and Cherry and the Stone Arch Bridge are a must) I stayed in the standard double queen room. The room was also massive and it had an entire living room with a TV, as well as a separate room with two double queen beds overlooking the new football stadium. Breakfast had some good options and hot food. Would recommend.

Service is good with the front desk and maintenance, that I experienced. The room service person for bringing in extra towels weren't as friendly, seems to have a social behavior issue, didn't seems to care. On the other hand, there was an issue with the sink draining and the maintenance person came very promptly but the issue wasn't fixed the first attempt, can be a very inconvenient as times. We got our parking taken off as a result. The rooms were fairly clean and prepped, awesome window views towards the Vikings stadium available to the lucky ones. Overall, because of good attitude with most of the staff, it's not a bad place to stay if you are ready and willing to compromise.

Rooms were clean and very spacious. Coffee in the room is not good, but the coffee provided in the lobby is good. Parking is tight. Great location. Housekeeping not the best. Would be nicer if they had darker beer on tap. Overall a good stay.

Wonderful hotel perfect for a quick trip! Friendly staff, rooms were epic. One of the better fitness facilities. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of places to relax or meet with friends and spread out!

King bed room was huge! Two rooms, nice view facing North (I requested a high floor room). Sofa doubles as a 2nd bed, but was hard as a rock to sit on. Had a nice 4 person table, 2 TVs and great sized shower.

Went to Guns and Roses last night. Stayed here. Very nice place nice rooms. But when u have a big event like that and have to be told that its gonna take 45 minutes just to get some chips and salsa and some pretzel bites. Need more help on hand then. And then when I go to order a beer at the bar this young kid with black hair kept like avoiding us and serving other people. Finally get one and order another and he goes what can I get u and I said a beer after 30 minutes waiting and he says well there is a bar up the street a block. Wanted to give him a attitude adjustment on the spot. rude as hell.

Love the rooms design. Love the breakfast here. Great spa and pool. Bar area has nice layout. Front desk takes good care of your needs. Dropped off baggage early and hit some sights. Strange entrance. But once you get that your good. Convenience store in enterance is handy too.

Loved our stay here! My wife and I had one tf their Single Room King Suites and it was very nice. Big comfy bed with a large room. Couldn't have asked for better customer service here either! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone an will definitely return here in the future!

The hotel staff was wonderful. They were very friendly and helpful in answering any questions we had about navigating our way around the city. Our room was clean, and quite spacious. The housekeeping staff did a great job tidying up every day. The free breakfast was also very good. Lots of a variety of breakfast choices.

Very slow elevators. Took way too long to go up/down. Breakfast was free but half of the items promised were not there on my first morning stay. Will have to see what is there tomorrow morning. Rooms are clean and very large, would stay again.

Love staying there. Breakfast buffet makes for such a nice start to mornings, especially when you have children. Beds can be stiff, but still very nice rooms.

Nice hotel. Love the breakfast. The night I came in it was a little crazy. There was a huge group of people being horribly disrespectful. Yelling about people smoking crack in rooms, smoking pot and starting fights in public. The night staff tried to stop them from being so loud, but it proved hard. That made me feel uncomfortable. Other than that the stay has been wonderful.

The staff was friendly from check-in to check-out. They didn't have a room for us when we first arrived, which I was a bit peeved about. But they got one ready in only 5 minutes, and it was wonderful. The room was absolutely beautiful, as was the entire hotel. And, of course, the staff was wonderful. I will be recommending this hotel to my friends in the future.

Was pleasantly surprised by a spacious, clean room. Had a very comfortable king sized bed. The Gallery bar, had great flat bread pizza, and a great host. Would recommend to anyone passing through town.

The location is very nice and easily accessible. Very close to the new stadium. The hotel is in a network of skywalks for shopping and restaurants without needing to go outside. The rooms were great and clean. Soft beds, nice view. The only thing that was hard to navigate was the elevators at times, but since it is downtown that is to be expected. Also, the breakfast area was awesome. Tons of options and good food. Very pleased with the Hyatt place.

My son was stuck in the Hyatt elevator for over an hour. The manager told us "it happens all the time and is out of their control. " There was no sense of urgency to get 2 scared children out of the elevator and no apology ever given to the families. When the children were finally rescued the security guard scolded them. Clearly the children were scared and that was not the right time. My room is filthy stains all over carpet and walls please look for attached pictures. The bedding is full of black hair which is not mine. The parking is horrible our vehicle barely fits in the garage. Every time you park you have to wait in line at the front desk for a second parking ticket. Unacceptable hotel standards very disappointing.

Close to all downtown, and the owners so big.
