Spent 3 nights there and the service was bad. The bed was comfortable and the shower nice. However, our beds were never made, trash wasn't emptied, only got fresh towels one day. Had to ask for washcloths and there was no shampoo. The only coffee was decaffeinated. The frost in the refrigerator was so much, there was no room in the freezer. Breakfast was limited. The egg pucks were cold and rubbery, the sausage was cold and hard. It is an inn but not quality.

I would avoid this place at all costs. Several bad experiences with housekeeping and desk mgr didn't really care. Checked in Thurs 6/21/18. Friday had no room service and no clean towels, shampoo etc. Saturday had room service and got new hand towels but no bath towels. Went to front desk at night and got 2 clean bath towels, and told mgr what happened and he seemed upset but didn't say anything. Sunday came back to room at 8:30pm and found a "do not disturb" sign on outside of door. It was on the inside when I had left in the morning. The 2 clean bath towels that I had placed on rack over toilet clean and unused were now gone and not replaced. Went to front desk and complained to night mgr who told me guests who stay over have to request room service and bring dirty towels to desk for clean ones. I asked why this is not explained at check in and she had no answer. In fact the mgr who may have been franchise owner that I spoke with for new towels on Sat night never mentioned that dirty towels needed to be brought to front desk. Furthermore I have been staying at Quality and Comfort Inns for years and never had to trade in towels at front desk. While I was arguing to deaf ears to mgr on Sun 8:30 pm another guest came to desk who had just checked in and said his room had not been cleaned. They gave him a different room and he came back in minutes and said the second room had not been cleaned. Meanwhile I received no apology or truthful explanation from the night mgr.

Dump. Sheets are stained. Room smells. There are a lot of strange people hanging around in their cars all day. I think people are actually living here. Planned on staying 3 nights. Will be checking out tomorrow and looking for anything else.

Really outdated hotel. Needs drastic updates. The marijuana smell upon entry when we checked in was overwhelming. The towels in our room looked like they were quite possibly the originals from the opening of the hotel. They were stained, crusty, and thin. The curtains don't close, so expect light in your eyes all night. Really dirty hotel and staff helps themselves to the "breakfast", if that's what you can call the powdered eggs and rubbery sausage. Pool water was pretty cloudy and the cords in the hallways to run the "security cameras " are quite janky. I wouldn't stay here again if I was paid to.

Very poor management, very dirty rooms, mold in a couple bathrooms in a long hallway. Just a very dirty on friendly place. Stayed there many times and gets worse every time. Recommend going somewhere else.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I booked a room online 2 months in afvance6. Went to check in and went to room only to find it was not the room type I had reserved. I had reserved a king suite. This was a small room with one double bed, certainly not a suite! When I went to check with staff, they said the room I had reserved was not available. They offered me no other options. Only that they would refund my credit card. Did NOTHING to make the situation right. Needless to say, I was irate. This is memorial day werkend, and I am without a hotel. Poorest service I have ever encountered. I asked to speak with a manager. Was told there was no one available. Asked the staff member to get a manager on the phone. Told me no one was available. Totally unwilling to rectify the situation! BEWARE BEFORE YOU BOOK WITH THEM! I will never book with or stay at a Quality Inn EVER AGAIN! Worst customer service ever!

I'm in this hotel right now. I've got a headache from the smell. This place is a dump. DON'T STAY HERE! Smells like mildew. Probably infested with mold. I stayed in a Quality Inn in Ridgecrest California 2 weeks ago and it was very nice and comfortable. I can't believe how this place is so much the opposite. Yuk.

Black mold all over bathroom. Found bug in bathroom & got moved to room with mold & dirty sheets. Manager very rude. Place is very over priced & dirty. They offer nothing for the issues. Not even a sorry. While checking out found out upstairs floor was infested with bed bugs.

Dirty hotel, with the wallpaper peeling off in the hallways and stairwells. Doors, carpet and rooms were dirty. Sheets had weird stains on them and there was mold in the bathroom. Also asked to get a cot and was told they cannot get them out of storage right now and are inaccessible. Not impressed one bit.

I don't even know where to begin. It's filthy. Doors are falling off the bathrooms. Locks don't work. Hot tub doesn't work. Washer and dryer doesn't work. Vending machine doesn't work. The rail to enter the pool is broken. There are no towels in the pool area. Light bulbs don't work so we replaced them and it turns out it's the sockets themselves that don't work. Lots of suspicious activity inside and out. And it smells. I will gladly pay more to stay somewhere else in the future. I highly recommend you do the same. Oh… and the shower… just no. I felt like I needed to take a shower after I took a shower.

I typically ignore reviews because I have found most people just like to complain. I wish I would have listened with this place. It was a complete dump. We had a 4 day reservation and cancelled our other 3 days immediatly. Rude staff, hot tub and laundry are out of service and judging by other reviews, they have been for months, and the room was super small and smelled HORRIBLE. The place is falling apart. My small kids and I froze our one night there because when you turn the heat on, it smells like someone is blowing a cigarette directly in your face. If you are looking for a nice hotel in the area, we eventually ended up at the Best Western Plus off of Round Lake Blvd. Similar price for a relaxing stay!

TERRIBLE! pool was poorly kept. In the pool were a bunch of men standing around on there phone's with no intention of swimming. Made us very uncomfortable. Small television. Wi-Fi was spotty. Breakfast was the worst I've ever seen. Juice machine splattered everywhere.

It was a solid hotel, nothing fancy and nothing extra, just a plain room. The breakfast was standard, the rooms were as clean as you'd expect them but not much more. Overall it was a nice experience, and the staff was very helpful and friendly!

If I could leave a negative review, I would. This place was horrible. Upon check in, there was no t. V. The maintenance man put one in for us and was nice. We then went to the event that we were in town for. Upon returning, there was a drug deal happening right outside the front door. We were so tired, we went upstairs and laid down. We didn't sleep well though. Kids were running up and down the halls at midnight. I called the front desk and complained at 12:15 am. I was told there wasn't anyone in the halls currently. 5 mins later, it started again. It didn't end until after 2 am. Then when in our room, we noticed the room was filthy. The floor was unclean, mattress cover has red stuff on it that looked like blood. There was a bloody towel in the bathroom and clothes, that were nor ours, behind the door. The floor, on the side of the bed that I didn't use was filthy. When complaining in the morning, the person at the front desk got irate and looked like he was going to physically assault my dad. He is an elderly man with heart issues. He blamed us for not complaining, we had, multiple times at night and got mad we werent checked out in time. We weren't supposed to be checked out as we had another night reserved. Apparently, they didnt even know that. The maid was amazing. She was so nice and apologized, sadly, when we left, it sounded like she was being fired. She didn't deserve it. I am so upset about the experience. Do not stay here!

Comfy rooms, accomadating, pet friendly. Only recommendation is to clean outside around the building. There was a lot of garbage.

Stayed there for 4 days, pool and whirlpool were out of order. Rooms were descent. Cleanliness was below average in bathroom. Had urine on sides of toilet.

Aging place that is not well maintained. Kind of scarey but takes dogs.

Biggest dump I've ever stayed at. Garbage everywhere, doors broken, missing screens on Windows, unsafe area. If you run out of cigarettes or weed, no worries. The pungent odor weed throughout the hotel hallways should keep you stoned enough until you can get some more! If you're a crackhead, hooker, or convict on the run, look no further. This is home sweet home for you! Sorry Saed, you were awesome to deal with. How you can stomach working at that place is beyond me!

Quality should be nowhere near the name of this motel. Should be the "Worn-Inn". Like EVERYONE says, dirty, worn, smelly. My room had everything off the walls missing, the sheets/comforter had holes in them, the shower had blue hair dye and hair all over that rinsed right off (obviously just not cleaned), the shower curtain holes were torn through and the curtain was stained all over, the smoke alarm had a bag over it? As soon as I got to my room and pulled back the covers, the room attendants obviously don't care at all because it was a queen fitted sheet on a King Bed. So about a foot short on all sides. Went to the front desk where the guy seemed stoned out of his mind and looked for a sheet for 10 minutes and finally just gave me 2, he said he thought 1 might be a king… both were queens again. A place where if they invested $100 in each room, it'd feel like a major upgrade. Was just looking for a cheap room to attend a funeral, but I'm Sorry if you ever have to stay here.

Not a place for families! This is a construction worker work camp. Drunken bafoonery in the hallway from 2am until after 5am. I'm on zero sleep and pissed.

A little good with a lot of bad. Friendly staff but terribly managed and not well maintained. Sheets and towels were clean, but had stains and rips. Certain longer-term 'residents' create an uncomfortable atmosphere for family guests. This hotel is NOT a good example of the Choice Hotels group. Nice staff and low rates do not compensate for the low quality.

This hotel is in dire need of a good cleaning and remodel. The paint is peeling, wallpaper is patched together and taped, garbage all over in the parking lot and common areas of the hotel. Our first room looked ok, except the pillows were stacked together, and the bed had obviously been laid on, like someone propped themself up to watch tv. The front desk did accommodate us and set us up in another room. The bed was clean, but that's about it. Very dusty, broken dresser drawers, and the bathroom was filthy. We didn't even use the shower, too much hair belonging to someone else in there. The walls were horribly dirty, and we had 2 bath towels and a hand towel. That's it! No wash cloths! The only thing I was sure was clean was the cup I used, and it was wrapped in plastic! I don't recommend staying here.

The worst place I have ever stayed at! We had to call and have clean sheets brought up to us when we first got there. There were stains on them and hairs that definitely were not mine or my husbands. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling down, the vent in the bathroom was coming off the wall, the ceiling in the main room was extremely dirty, one of the plug ins on the wall had clearly been on fire before because it was burnt, on the floor on my side of the bed was so sticky that it tore my slipper when I tried to take a step, the doors leading outside did not latch so anyone could come in and out as they please, the sausage and eggs from breakfast literally tasted like cardboard, there were beer bottles and cans all over the grass and just everywhere. This was absolutely horrible and not worth the $95 a night we paid! If I could give it 0 stars I would!

No towels in room. I called for towels and none ever came, so showering without a towel is ridiculous. Sheets and pillows stained, poor breakfast. Noisy, dog barking. Not impressed at all, spend $10 more and go elsewhere.

The hotel is older so it's well worn but it has several amenities including a hot/cold breakfast, indoor pool and spa, business center and decent wireless. The guests were a little rough. Maybe it was just a large group of workers hanging out after a project. There were a few lying in the hallway and outside without their shirts off. I thought maybe they were homeless but they came into the hotel.

The front desk manager was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was what you would expect from a quality Inn, bagels, waffles, the like. The only thing is the room was not 100% clean (ie. Was not vacuumed).

This is the worst place and as someone previously posted, ghetto! The manager is a total creep, halls smell like goat meat and death, breakfast is cold and pretty much empty by the time its first out, front desk worker just sits looking ornery. Lets see what else I can say. Oh yes, same 2 crappy vehicles in and out of the parking lot till 4 in the morning the three god awful nights I stayed! Nothing like having your kids in a drug running hotel. Bathrooms full of hair and you can only guess what else smeared everywhere. And if you do manage to get breakfast, there is some shady group there swearing like sailors no matter who else is present! Of course the wonderful manager and other desk workers say nothing! Do I sound harsh? Sorry, just dont want others to get roped in by their false advertising.

They didn't know what they were doing. I asked them to take enough money for two rooms was charged for one and was blamed for paying for only one room then had to move into a room with one bed and had to sleep on the floor.

The hotel served its purpose as a place to sleep. Room was showing its age, but was generally clean. Hallways on the other hand were kinda iffy. Breakfast was decent… never had Greek yogurt based cream cheese before. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Needs to be updated. Pool is VERY nasty. Breakfast was cold tasted HORRIBLE. Hot tub wasn't working whole time I was there. Stains on ceiling, broken dresser without one drawer in it, dirty bathroom, phone in room didn't work. Just horrible. For travelers I suggest AmericInn. This is just nasty.

Actually very good. Reviews didn't look great but I really enjoyed my stay. Clean. Small so not a ton of people. No bad parking. Pool /hot tub area was not full of people. Would recommend.

Quality inn northtown was a nice comfortable stay at a reasonable price. I have played athletics and traveled to many hotels and this one was on par with the rest. Rooms aren't huge or anything, but they are comfy and are everything I needed.

They are average which is all I needed for a one night stay. The pool is small. They did have a hot tub. The rooms seemed clean and the channel selction kept my kids occupied so that was a plus. Very basic breakfast but at least they had something.

I had an AMAZING customer service experience here! I made a reservation with this hotel for the wrong date via Orbitz on my phone. When I got to the hotel (5 min after making the reservation), the front desk clerk, Saeed, told me that I must have made if for the wrong date because he couldn't find my reservation for that day and they were totally full. Worst of all, my 2-year old and 2-month old (who had just been in the car for the last 6.5 hours) were crying and causing a total scene in the lobby. We must have looked like a bunch of lunatics. Saeed was kind enough to not only find and cancel my incorrect reservation, but he even called a neighboring hotel to see if they had any rooms available for me (I got the last one thanks to him! ). We were so tired and stressed from the drive, but he completely saved our evening! I was so thrilled with his kindness that I stayed at the hotel my next time in town (just 4 days later). I had a wonderful experience. Once again, everyone was very nice! My room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, AC worked VERY well, and the breakfast was great! Just recently, I was in contact with the hotel again, to correct a minor billing mistake, and once again I had FABULOUS customer service! Tina was so friendly, helpful, and personable. She took care of everything easily and efficiently. She even remembered me from my previous visit to the hotel! It is rare to find a place with such a bunch of great people.

Nasty room. Hair on the floor in the bathroom. Hair in the bathtub and on the sides. Toilet dirty. Children's toy left behind in middle of floor. Carpet not vacuumed. Kleenex box empty. We had to ask the housekeeper to please clean the bathroom well. We stayed two nights housekeeper cleaned but never made bed.

Good room for the money. Nothing too fancy, but definitely not a dump either.

So the beds to me were very comfortable! Like the features in the room. However customer service could be better. Hot tub was not working… have 1 more night here. Hopefully things turn around… pretty average thus far.

This hotel was awful! It was so gross it had mold and mildew all over the bathroom, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling down so if you were taking a shower or sitting on the toilet parts of the ceiling would fall on you. The bathroom floor and tub and exhaust fan of looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a few months. The bulbs in all the lamps except one were all burnt out. The wallpaper throughout the entire room was peeling or ripped off and the walls were really dirty. The fridge & microwave was not clean their was still food from the previous guests in the fridge. I mean this hotel was disgusting to put it nicely!

The bed was pretty comfy, but that was a about it. We didn't have an alarm clock. The pillows were awful. The floor in our bathroom was bowing in. The paint was peeling from the walls. Pretty much they need to do a ton of maintenance work and upgrades. With that being said, the staff was friendly. But that's it.

My family and I have traveled a lot and this is by far the most disgustingly filthy dirty hotel I have stayed in. Booked through priceline as a blind express deal, was so dirty I changed hotels without a refund. Spoke with the owner who could care less. This is listed as a two or three star hotel, it is at best a 20 dollar hotel room, I wouldnt let my dog sleep here!

Very very disappointed picked this place because it said it had a pool and hot tub get into the pool room and the hot tube is not available it's empty and when I asked about it I was told they are planing o filling it in and it is closed permanently.

They started by giving us a room with someone in it. Also everything is dirty and not cleaned on a regular basis.

Ok staff. Garbage outside is full and all over the ground.

I stayed at Quality Inn Northtown September 22nd – 26th. The first day housekeeping came and picked up a towel and washcloth that had been used. The trash was not emptied and the bed was not made. The whole stay housekeeping entered my room one time. The trash was never emptied, the bed was never made and the towels were never replaced. I complained to the front desk when I had to go get towels myself and I was told that I wasn’t the only one complaining. Housekeeping was marking that I had a do not disturb sign on my door or that I refused service. I never had a do not disturb sign on my door I was out early in the morning and back late in the evening. I never spoke with anyone in housekeeping to refuse service. I will NOT be staying at this Quality Inn again.

The stay went fantastic! great customer service, big pool area. Yummy breakfast I would highly recommend staying here. I stood here for a week and had NO problems.

Decent hotel, had fridge and microwave. Has places to eat close by. Beds were comfortableas well as the pillows. The biggest downside is the wireless Internet. It works good when it works, but it will drop on an almost regular basis.

I was incredibly disappointed. The hot tub was broken, the wireless didn't reach my room, and the TV only received fuzzy reception. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to try to fix each issue, but with no solutions I'm still left unsatisfied.
