Very sweet staf and very good rooms. Good Breakfast.

The worst hotel stayever. When we called to see what time to start checking in they had told us that it was at 1:00p. M. And when we went there to check in the room wasn't even cleaned. The housekeepers were there since 8:00a. M. & not one freaking room was cleaned. They told us an hour they will have the room done. One hour later I called them and the room still wasn't even done another 30-40 minutes and it'll be done. When I called after 50 minutes they just got into the room. We finally checked in around 2:30p. M. The hotel is so ran down it from mold in the pool area, there isn't a hot tub like the pictures show. I'm a retired head housekeeper and they was the worst place ever. I took pictures of this place and I've also sent it to the corporate office to show them how bad this place is. You don't get much for breakfast but bagels, and if your lucky you'll have some muffins that are gluten free dairy free and nut free. They are old and stale and we weren't happy with this stay. If you end up staying there look at the pool area it has a look on there that is a keypad on the door and make sure you look at the mold & cracks in all over the ceiling, mold in the windowsills and they always fill up the pool whenever someone is done with the pool. Pool is uneven and you really have to be careful what you do in there. Children have to be supervised that is under the age of 18 not 14 they raise the age themselves.

Ive stayed at America's Best Value Inn a couple times with my fiance and I can't help but notice how over worked their employees are. Espicially Chelsae Carr, she literally has to work more than 24 hours at a time. How can you make an employee work from 6 to 3 (ish) doing house keeping, then have her turn around and work 3 to 11 front desk, then the 11 to 6 all in the same day! And I've heard they don't get paid well worked over time! What a joke!

Nice old hotel, seems clean, workers friendly nice to talk with, just don't get the bottom room by the road, for the train will weak you up, I have stayed here a few times over the years, I plan on coming back.

Price was right for the type of motel, very clean, and even though close to the railroad tracks, I didn't hear or feel the train going through. Close to restaurants and grocery store (walking distance) Would stay again, Highly recommend.

A older hotel that could use a little updating, but rooms were clean and it was the most comfortable bed we had slept in on our way across the state! Staff was very attentive and nice. We did not eat the breakfast. Only complaint was even tho we were in a non smoking room, it still had a odor from the smoke smelling halls. Great room for the $$

Clean neat facility. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Good location. Will return again!

Trains all night and moist feeling rooms.

Clean rooms, but wall-to-wall carpets, no ventilation, pool closed when tried. "Continental" breakfast was poor.

People are very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Price is as good as you can get in the area. Breakfast will due until lunch;-)

Do not stay here! Stayed for four nights for a work trip and nothing else was available in town. I was bit by bed bugs and have had to seek medical attention for them. Called to tell the management and ask for a refund, but still awaiting for a call back. Was hoping that management would do the right thing.

Overpriced and generally disappointing all around Also there was a train that went through every couple hrs with a loud horn that went off all night.

Best value inn offered my family great customer service. The rooms were greatly priced and clean. It was also very convenient to have the grocery store located next door!

This used to be the Kings Inn, great rooms and restaurant.

Everything in the room was fine but it was a side of the railroad.

A good motel almost in the middle of nowhere. Great beds. Looks could be deceiving but great staff.

Staffs are friendly, rooms are clean, the last next door is a plus if you need supplies. The breakfast is okay. Our room is somewhat insulated from the train sounds outside, which is a typical issue for people spending night at Torrington, thus I was able to sleep peacefully.

Thank you for helping us out of a tight spot. Room at 11 pm for 3 of us. Mosquito bitten, rained on, dirty, tired and hungry. You took care of us.

I stayed one night. There was a huge stain on the carpet, I heard the train every 3 hours. The cable television was not a clear picture so watching Monday night football was a joke. The room refrigerator made a loud squeak when it started up several times. Way overpriced!

Good place if you need to spend the night an not care about added amenities. It seems to be in a shady neighborhood but you're only there a night right? It loses a star because the bath/shower switch was messed up and the tub was clogged.

Good location, rooms are good sized. Hallways and common areas are a little outdated and worn. Pool is over chlorinated,. Hot rub was empty and filthy.

Friendly employees over all clean good kind of disappointed in the breakfast.

I'm working out of town. Staying at the American best inn. Wish the hot tube was working. There need to be more breakfast choices. But other than that it's OK.

Nothing too amazing about this place. They do have a pool tho, and they are so close to restaurants and the couple bars in yown. Staff is very nice and accommodating. This will always be the place I stay at in the area!

The parking was close to my room and pool. Friendly/helpful staff. Grocery store across the street. Room was vacumed and stocked for my second night. Was quite and relaxing.

The ONLY good thing was that although the hotel was located near the train tracks, we never heard the trains go by. 1) They would not honor my value club card because I booked online, so I was over charged over $100 2) The continental breakfast consisted of toast and coffee. They had corn flakes one day too, BUT my daughter couldn't find the milk and no one was at the front desk to assist her. 3) The pool and hot tub didn't work and apparently hasn't for quite some time. Yet they still advertise that they have one. 4) Ran out of toilet paper. Asked the front desk TWICE for some. Never got it. Had to go next door to the store and buy some! Not worth the club card price (IF they even give it to you) and for sure not worth paying full price.

SHHHH — I'm keeping this one secret for myself. I go to Torrington about 1 time/year if you can get past the transient workers, you'll love this place. I always stay here when I go to Torrington. PS — the Hot tub NEVER works properly.

Rooms are clean, price ok.

I have stayed at a lot of americas best value inns and I hate it win my company makes me stay there but this one is better then some of the best westerns I have stayed at.
