Motel 7 Rawlins Inn

It's what you'd expect for $60 a night… except that it costs double that. I'm a very low maintenance person but I'll admit I wasn't overly comfortable here. The bed, floor and towels seemed clean, but the room smelled faintly of smoke (well, enough where my clothes absorbed the smell) and there were a few flies. No frills, no extras. Very tiny fridge with no temp control so my food froze which kinda ruined my produce. Not very lenient with late check out time. I would only go back there if it was half the price.

After reading the reviews thought to meslf it can't be that bad… yep I was correct… on araval we were met with smiles, the room was nice and clean, beds are excellent (just what is need after a long drive, gawd fresh coffee was made for us… happy days, Would highly recommend this nice little motel…

Best place to stay in town. Family owned and operated. Love the hospitality. Clean rooms.

This place smells like a toilet, I hope I dont wake up with pink eye. Will write follow up review if I do. Their Wi-Fi works, but this place is kind of creepy. Super yellow, the walls and sheets. I flipped my pillow over and it smells kind of better. The Wi-Fi is really good at least. At least it's a place to sleep that's not my car.

Passing through late and should have bothered to find the road for the Motel 8 instead. Nasty room smelled like smoke, dirty floors, towels smelled so bad I dragged in extras we had in the car. I'm 5'3" and the shower head was about 6" shorter than me. Lol Made for an interesting shower. A/C made loud random thumping noises. Just go down the street instead for a clean place with breakfast.

This was better than the motel 6 we stayed in the night before. Extremists reasonably priced and they are pet friendly!

It was fine. An ordinary motel.

They wanted to charge almost $300 for one week of rent there. Then they wanted to charge me an extra $150 for a service dog. They can barely speak English, the language that they did speak I could not even get them to admit. So if you're a Sinclair worker in need of a place to stay I suggest labella's, and if she's booked up I suggest driving 40 miles to wamsutter and staying in a sheepherders wagon.

The beds were hard, the pillows were hard. I felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The heater was on all night, and I still got cold. The toilet paper was single ply sandpaper. I wouldn't choose this as my first choice of lodging, but if you need a quick, cheap place to crash for a few hours, or whatnot, this is good enough for that.

Beds were hard as rocks and the door had gaps all around it. Looks like it would be better off as a sleazy pay by the hour kind of place.

Towels for only one or two. Bathroom not heated, expect a lot of condensation when it's cold outside. Not maintained the best.

Couldn't stay because the credit card machine was broken.

I know it is cheap so if that is what you want. I would totally pay 20 dollars to sleep here.

All I can say is please drive on, Do not stay here. I can honestly say this is the worst Hotel in the US. I travel a great deal, and give praise when I can. I'm ashamed to say we paid 5 times the going rate because it was the only hotel left in the area on the eve of the solar Eclipse. I'm ashamed to admit the amount we paid but it was to late to get our money back. The horrible witch of an owner smiled and said every hotel is putting their prices up. 700% surely not. Horrible owner. I didn't want a fight because we were in the area to see the Solar Eclipse. Just a shame such people treat visitors like that. Double the rate OK but to charge 7 times is sad. I believe in Karma. What goes round comes round. Read the other reviews its not just me…

Bathroom peeling paint, tiles gone, mold in shower, wires hanging out of thermostat that didn't have a face on it. Asked for my money back and the owner became enraged. I called the police due to his extreme anger. His teenage daughter was frightened of the man and ran away.

Beats motel 6 all the way. Worth the extra couple miles. Peaceful place, clean rooms, your feet don't get filthy when walking barefoot in the room, and friendly personnel. We found our new stop for our travels from Oregon to Kansas.

Good stay, rooms are in good shape though hotel shows it's age somewhat.

It's cheap and clean, pretty limited on amenities and definitely aging but not bad for the price.

For the price it was worth it! Clean simple, cheap room… For cheap.

Cheap and convenient. Rooms are nicer than the outside. Comfy bed and hot shower. Office person negotiated price and check out time.

Stuck in the driveway and the room was cold. Nice enough people if you don't need any advice or directions.

Rude front desk lady, tried to overcharge us for the room by $30 because it was after 11 and she thought we were desperate. Saw the room before we would pay and it was nasty. Decided to bypass this whole town, drive the extra hour to Laramie. Even cheap hotels in Rawlins are $90 and disgusting.

Among the worst motels I have ever stayed at! The man who checked us in gave us the creeps and stared at my son's girlfriend until we were out of his line of sight. Even worse, when I sat on the bed a cloud of dust (I don't even want to think what it really was) was released. I woke up with a horrible sore throat and felt sick all day. We were glad to be gone. It reminded my son, his girlfriend, and I of the Bates motel in Psycho!

Me and my girl stayed here once and will never go again. Check out time is at 10am and we had a employee or someone knocking at our door at 7am and then the gentlemen proceeded to basically stalk the room and waiting right outside the door so he could clean it. At one point I was loading up the car and my girl said that he had opened up the door quite a bit twice. I told him to get away from my door I proceeded to inform the front desk and they just seemed to brush it off like it was nothing.
