This place is much more rundown and dated than the other reviews indicate. There was paint peeling off the bathroom ceiling, the door to the room stuck badly. The Wi-Fi was spotty and poor, unable to stream netflix. They made a copy of my credit card when I checked which I am not at all comfortable with. Would not recommend staying here at all!

Nice little place, great rooms. The people are friendly, the price is more than fair. The manager Ruben is really nice. Doesn’t look super special but the rooms are clean and all recently redone. The beds are new and really comfortable. A nice little road trip motel.

Very nice owners and management.

Spent last night with them and loved the stay over. My stay was 100% more relaxing and resting than my previous night at a different hotel at over twice the cost. The hotel staff was great to chat with and if I’m ever in the area again would stay with them again.

You need to stay here, just to bless the wonder ful people who own and operate it. They are gems, personally working to serve the guests. Blessed. It is a sweet spirit that tends the place.

Clean local small business they allow pets but not alot of places to walk them and alittle pricey. But quiet and clean.

Quite pleased with our stay there. The owners are pretty easy going. There is a religious then going on in the rooms (I am not religious) but it was ok. The room was a bit small but we had 2 bicycles to deal with so… Clean, comfortable and fair priced.

Excellent value! Very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Within walking distance of several places to eat. We would return!

What a wonderful place to stay! Great location and the price is just right for short or long term. Very clean and comfortable. I have been treated very well each time I have stayed and everyone is always so helpful and friendly! I look forward to staying here every time I'm in town.

The owners or this motel are incredible! They are very sincere and truly care about the people that stay there and to make it the best experience they’ve had. You’re missing out if you don’t take the time to stop here on your way through town and meet them and stay for a night or two!

Location was ok but not good for truck/trailer parking. Room was not kid friendly as advertised they are also renovating so I cannot say how it will be after they are done service was nice they took care of me not being happy. I appreciated that. They are a small family owned hotel. Nice to support the little guys!

The owner name is Mike. I believe he is running is motel as a charitable organization for the soul purpose of the tax free clause in the tax codes. He says he will work with you on the bill and he will as long as you don't have a registered service dog and not a woman and you are willing to work for him free of charge and willing to allow him into every aspect of your life.

The Brickyard is a great place to stay. All the rooms have been refurbished, the new beds microwaves TVs refrigerator, everything is in excellent condition. The staff here is friendly and hospitable, they will do whatever is necessary to make your stay more comfortable. The rates are extremely reasonable and the owner is willing to work with you on the bill. The management that he is hired is more than willing to work with you on any situation especially during the holidays. I can't say enough about this place top of the line hotel and staff.

The owners were very friendly and greeted me by name, as I had called ahead. My room and bathroom were fresh and clean, and also included a refrigerator and microwave. Bed was super comfortable. The heater worked well. Internet was pretty slow though. Most of all, as a female traveling alone, I felt safe. Perfect halfway stop between SLC and Denver, a little more than I wanted to spend but I would definitely stay again.

Nice enough. No carpet in room. I believe it's pet friendly so… I usually try to avoid those. Nice full size fridge/freezer. No real complaints.

We have stayed here and the hospitality is awesome! Owners, Mike & Ruth, have been more than generous and have become life long friends! We definitely give this establishment five stars and highly recommend this place as a future place to stay… "Home away from home. "

Mike is the best, probably the nicest person in Rawlins. Great place for CDT hikers, close to the Thai buffet, post office and fast Wi-Fi.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The value and quality are very nice. The room we stayed in had a full residential sized refrigerator and comfy beds. The owners are a wonderful Christian husband and wife. They blessed us majorly with their generosity and hospitality. We stayed here with our 2 and 1 year old. Would definitely stay here again.

Great rooms for price and great management.

The rooms are well kept and the remodel looks very nice. Should I need a room sometime I would consider staying there.

Nice people and good service.

Checked in last night at midnight … hassle free. Super clean, roomy. It's obvious "love" was put into the remodel. I appreciate when people care. Adding the power strips were an excellent touch too (my family always fights for the outlets in the room :) ) The value to price ratio is outstanding. The only thing that would have made this stay even more perfect would have been to add black-out curtains above the AC unit window. Sadly I find myself awake writing this review now instead of continuing to get some sorely needed extra Zs.

Great place to stay and would stay again without thinking twice about it. Service was good — sociable and easy to checkin. The room was clean, updated and the bed was actually very comfortable. They had all the cable channels including the one I needed to watch early morning F1 race on TV — I called ahead to verify they had channel and they sure did. Had a nuker and fridge and everything seemed to work. Oh and it was clean and comfortable. Not huge rooms but not high on my list! Rather have clean and updated& comfortable which this place was and it is in the old town as well so less traffic etc. Also they had card-less door locks. If you can remember 4 digits you give them then it is so easy and nothing to lose or demagnetize. Love it! Wifi was worked too. Only thing missing was no little shampoo in which case had to run down 1/2 mile to dollar store but not big deal. Thanks guys! Oh and only $60! $25 cheaper than Days inn!

A clean motel at a good price. The new owners are retired ranchers and recently renovated the rooms.

Mike and Ruth Perry may be my parents but are the most amazing and kind people you will ever meet! They have put so much work into this hotel to get it up to date and make it such a warm and friendly place to stay in! If you're passing thru, you can't miss out on staying here!

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The tops are clean, and the service was excellent. Mine and Ruth Perry are by far the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Whether just for a night, or for a week, my children and I enjoyed staying there and will definitely stay there again!
