I recently had my wedding near sturgis and had my bridal party stay at the Hampton. In between cleanings of our stay my Bose speaker was taken by a hotel staff. Not only did this happen But they called family members who had booked with our wedding block and asked them to stay across the steet at the other hotel because they overbooked the hotel. So disappointed in this Hampton.

The front desk people were wonderful but the room ceiling had stains everywhere and the fan in the bathroom sounded like a hurt animal and the people in the room above me allowed their kids to jump like monkeys all night and run up and down the hallway. Breakfast was good though and staff was nice enough.

The lobby was the quality I have come to expect from this chain, but the elevator and stairs left something to be desired. We also requested someone come look at our refrigerator in-room as we have a toddler that needs milk constantly. Our refrigerator was never cold enough to store milk in safely.

Clean room. Staff friendly and accommodating. Let us borrow towels so we could shower after a bike ride that ended after we checked out, and trusted is to return them, which we did. Breakfast buffet. Okay. Clean hotel.

Feels more like a Super 8 than Hampton and certainly not worth the $140 price tag. Took the stairs because I wasn't sure if the elevator would continue to work, hardly anything for breakfast and what they did have, seemed like it was 3 days old. When we opened the door to the room, we were greated with an overwhelming, disgusting smoke smell. Which made me more certain it was a Super 8. The towels were child size and, again, felt like a different hotel. Exercise room had no weights, but did have a treadmill, bike and eliptical. Definitely not the Hampton we are used to staying at. Kids wanted to give it a 2 star but I'm being generous because it wasn't the worse hotel that I've been to.

We drove 900 miles yesterday afternoon arrived at hotel at 1:00 PM on Wednesday earlier than normal check in and they had a room for us to rest and unwind before facing family members. The cookies were awesome also. Workers were helpful and friendly.

Always clean. Decent pool. Free coffee and small breakfast bar in am. Smells good. Friendly staff. No complaints.

The best place to stay at in sturgis, michigan. I was completely satified with my stay from check in to check out! the staff was very informative, helpful, and friendly. The place was clean, well put together, and inviting. Definitely the place to stay.

We stayed the night here while driving from Pittsburgh to Chicago (due to a cancelled flight). We arrived after 2100 and had no problems getting a room. The staff was very friendly and sympathetic towards our having to drive to Chicago. The only complaint I have is the tap water was strange — it has a bit of an odor.

It was a very nice place to stay. The breakfast was great. Room was clean and modern. The pool was indoor, heated, and clean.

I give this hotel ZERO stars (I had to choose one star or I couldn't post a review). If you like walls that are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the adjoining rooms and the rooms across the hall then this is the hotel for you! the bed was so horrible it was better to sleep on the floor. The maid service turned the heat off so the room was ice cold upon returning at the end of the day. When I complained, the manager was the rudest person I have ever encountered. He yelled at me and said he did not owe me an apology. I truly believe the Hilton company should take this franchise away from him. Do not reserve a room at this hotel… it is hotel hell!

Very nice hotel staff, some of the friendliest and most professional.
One issue, I stayed on the 3rd, top floor and water dripping on my forehead was my wake up.
Good news I was not late, bad news that roof needs some work.

Stayed there on 27 November. We got there after a long drive to rest before continuing our journey. The room had a dirty smell when we first got in, but we were exhausted so we figured we would try and just go to sleep. The pillows and linen smelled dirty and we sprayed them wit febreeze. In the morning the smell was more apparent and we called the front desk. When we checked out, the receptionist took our information and said the manager on duty was informed and would contact us. It has been a full day and never heard from anyone. We are military and stay at Hampton Inn almost exclusively during our many travels moving the family. This is by far the worst we have stayed in and the lack of follow through by the management is unfortunate.

Drapes in room very dusty, stains on wall. Front desk girl at checkin was not pleasant. Good cookies and hot chocolate. Bathroom was clean and a great set up.

This quaint establishment offers comfort, cleanliness AND comfort! Indoor pool offers a type of cool escape into your "you". Plus! Grrrreat accomodations as long as one needs a peaceful rest! With free breakfast from 06:00-10:00! Come, eat, the more the MERRIER!

This is the first time we've been disappointed at a Hampton Inn. We were not given the type of room we reserved. There was a hole in the wall. Our room was not cleaned after we were gone 8 hours. There was not enough light in the bathroom to put makeup on. There was nowhere to hang the towels. The ice machine was filthy.

I would have given them 5 stars but… an hour after I left, I realized that I had left 3 rings on the bathroom counter. Including my engagement ring. I called. The woman put me on hold came back and said housekeeping never saw them. I call bullshit. Housekeeping went in as soon as my 20 year old son was closing the door. I called twice. The lady said she checked herself and didn't see them. Well no shit Sherlock, your housekeeping staff stole them! Why were they off? Because I was applying cocoa butter to my new tattoo and didn't want it caking on the rings. Yes, it was my fault for taking the rings off but… you have a thief on your housekeeping staff and I will never return to your establishment. This cannot be made right. What's done is done but you better believe that I will let everyone I know that someone on YOUR staff stole my rings.

Our stay was good. Comfortable bed. Everything in the room was nice and clean. My only complaint was that guests tracked water from the pool everywhere in the lobby.

Clean and comfortable room. Really nice staff. The breakfast was great! Only disappointment was that the jets on the whirlpool didn't work well, but they let us know that when we checked in.

Our stay was good. Employees were nice. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast. The bed was super comfortable & bedding was clean. Rooms could use an update.

This has been one of the best hotel experiences we have had. First off, they actually have a real breakfast and its complimentary! Walking through the lobby there were cookies that they had out for guests, and they were the best cookies I have had in a long time, and they were freshly made right at the hotel. Their pool is very nice. The water was warm like bath water. The atmosphere is very inviting and room was very nice. I will be happy to bring my family here again.

This place is stuck in the 1960's. In order to pay for a room for my employees they require a fax machine and can not email me a credit card authorization. The young lady at the front desk informed me that even the manager has no access to email. I decided to cancel my stay for fear that the facility would be as old as their reservation system. This particular hampton inn needs to catch up with the rest of them.

My wife and I stayed here in October. The rooms are a nice size, very clean, with lots of amenities. And the breakfast was delicious too.

Couldn't check in early as requested because the cleaners are understaffed. Otherwise great place. Clean rooms good breakfast. Pool is a little small but for the kids its perfect. Floors are glass I think in the pool room, super slippery.

The night staff and morning staff were all so friendly and the breakfast was one of the best I've seen. Pool looked really nice, too.

Stayed a few times love this place front desk staff was nice and helpful. Rooms are neat and tidy. Found out changed hands the old manager is no long there. The new manager is nice and very flexible loved my stay. New coffee pots and pool has been re-done.

Stopped on a road trip from Maine to Colorado. Very hospitable and clean. I liked that they had a 100% money back guarantee. The building was very modern. Paid $100 for the night with included breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

It was a pleasant stay, however my wife and I noticed the 'brush' used to clean the coffee pot was placed in the same bucket on the cleaning cart, as the toilet brush! When we asked room service why, their response was "The toilet bowl cleaner is anti bacterial so it should kill anything" The second lady answered "That where we was told to store it, we just do as were told" Needless to say, I'd stay away from those coffee pots! Other than that, it was friendly and pleasant.
