It was an okay place to stay for the night. There was a red wine stain on the wall, cracking paint and mold in the shower. Breakfast wasn't anything special — — lumpy floury biscuits and gravy. But it served it's purpose and the hotel attendant was really lovely, welcoming and helpful.

The room was nice, bathroom was clean. I only gave it three stars because the breakfast sucked. For it to be by the airport you would think breakfast would be better. They had the meat and yellow egg patty in the fridge with the yogurt. There wasn't hot scrambles eggs or anything like that. The only thing they had hot was the oatmeal and biscuits and gravy. The chicken I bought at the restaurant there was good. The staff was nice. Overall, it was good except for breakfast.

Easy access to the airport! Shuttle available. Bit loud with at the planes. Rooms were generally neat (we had sheets that had not been washed when we checked in one of the nights). Front desk was helpful. Don't eat at the restaurant. You'd be better off going to the McDonald's two doors down.

Stayed here with my wife the night before we flew out in the am. Only had 1 wash cloth in the bathroom. Called the front desk to get a couple of wash clothes and was told I could come to the front desk to get them. When I got to the front desk she said she didn't have any any, she ran out and would have to go to house keeping to get them. It was obvious that she was the only person there. She was checking people in and I was on the back burner. I will not stay here again. The service is pathetic due to poor management. My advice is to stay somewhere else.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Hotel smells, and is dirty. Staff is rude — super rude. My cards keep deactivating and they act like it’s my fault. They have menus in the room that state room service until midnight but when you call they say oh sorry the information in your room is wrong. The doors that lead to the restaurant are shattered and look super trashy. They’re also super busy because they’re so close to the airport so there’s often a long line at the desk which is probably why all the people who work here are so cranky.

I have a lot of empathy for the people working here. It can’t be fun. The rooms are incredibly loud, you can hear what’s going on in the room next door as if it was your own. This makes morning very hard. There are also small things they could do to make customers stay more comfortable… like if they know a delta flight has been delayed and booked out the entire hotel for the evening, they can offer more shuttles at popular times. It just takes a little forethought to schedule, and makes a huge difference in the lives of the travelers. There are other issues with smells and cleanliness, but those are all expectable at a Days Inn.

Thanks to Delta Airlines, I was able to enjoy a one night stay because of travel delay. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful during check in and out times. There's even a continental breakfast provided with various options. Also, I encourage you to visit their restaurant, Wings Bar and Grill. Their food was amazing!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I have been put through the run around with this company for 10 days now after they told me my reservation had been “bumped, ” they “simply didn’t have a room for me” and they “overbooked the hotel and there is nothing they could do. ” I booked a room a week in advance through the Days Inn with the number for reservations that is listed on their official website with plans to stay in the hotel prior to an early flight at DTW. On the date of my reservation, I called to ensure I could check in a little later in the day seeing as how I had to work and was anticipating getting out late. I was told as long as I checked in prior to 2am, I would not lose my reservation. I live two hours from the Days Inn in Romulus, and after getting home from work and heading to Detroit around 11pm, I figured it would be a good idea to call on the way and check in with the hotel staff and let them know I was still coming. Not only did they tell me they “bumped” my reservation, AFTER I had called earlier that afternoon telling them I would be coming later in the evening, but told me there was nothing they could do AND had already charged my card without me even checking in! After all that, the hotel staff member was extremely rude to me telling me I must have “called the wrong number, ” although like I said I used the number on their site, and cut me off telling me to try elsewhere.

Experience at the hotel was fine, but having somebody else park your car and return it to the hotel upon arrival, bad idea. There was damage to the drivers side front and rear windows. Thinking at the time it was just a smudge I said nothing to the hotel. But at home trying to wash the car I found out they were two Major scratches embedded right in the glass. Never again will I hand the keys over to any hotel, I will park it myself.

Decent hotel with good restaurant, which unfortunately closed on Sundays at 10 pm.

Brutal service and a bad room. The front desk staff barely cared that we were there and didn't attempt to assist with issues. The shower and tub water facet didn't work, therefore no shower. The heating unit in the room was so noisy it kept us up all night. The front desk gentleman barely grunted we we told him about our difficulties. We stayed here because of an early morning flight and to park our vehicle. We would have been better off sleeping in the car. Seriously. Not recommended.

The room was very clean. They give 10 days free parking at the airport if you stay the night. The room cost was cheaper than the cost for parking. It is great, especially if you have an early flight. Also comes with free continental breakfast. Highly recommend this place.

Convenient location for flights out of the Detroit airport. Rooms were clean. Their parking option through Park and Fly is quite helpful. Would stay again.

Crash sleep leave. Works. Shuttle was a bit patchy and had to be reminded couple of times that there were indeed travellers up in the early morning. Some breakfast alternatives to go would have been appreciated.

The stay and the ride to the airport was sufficient. They have you leave your keys at the desk and tell you they will move your car to another lot. Our car was in the exact same spot 5 days later. Snow covered and no change to the odometer. Scam.

Room was neat and clean. This hotel has been recently renovated. Learn from our mistake though and note that you need to CALL them from the airport to the them you need the shuttle to come. It doesn't make rounds like the other hotel shuttles do.

1 — happy with the condition and the cleanest of the room, bathroom-2 — only one person o the desk make the check in little hard — 3 — good people works good, 4 — they advisement work charge me 7 in stead of 4 to park, also 75 instead 60 the publish rate — — 5 — — breakfast nothing but some sample of cream cheese, and butter, you can't count on it at all, overall 6 out 10

This location needs to be updated; One would think that since this location is so close to the Airport it would be kept up but this is not the case they don't even have Wi-Fi service, in this day in time this should be standard. As you pull up in the parking area you will notice some room Windows have black plastic sheeting up to the Windows one would think someone may have been killed in those rooms. There is a mildew smell on the inside of the motel. The restaurant an the food is not up to standards for the price. I paid $16.00 for a chicken salad, small soft drink that should have cost $8.00. I needed some lemons and asked desk clerks for some an she told me that she would get them for me only if I gave them a good review sounds like a bribe to me. In all quality and star rating should be a 2 star venue. Would I ever pay to stay here No the only reason I did is because the company I am working for put me up here. Great location but could be much better.

The outside looked like a brand new building, but don't let that fool you this is an old building and needs a lot of work inside. The service was great they had us checked in to our room very quickly and was helpful with all of our questions. The room was very basic with old carpet and halfway done trim, paint, and walls. The bed was comfortable and clean. The tub was discolored and didn't look clean. TV worked along with the microwave and refrigerator. It says it has a breakfast in the morning but what a joke. Don't come hungry, get something else on the way out. Overall it was ok for one night.

Kailey at the front desk is a super star! Twice she helped us in a very professional manner despite being swamped with a long line up of guests and juggling many balls at once. The room was fine and clean and comfortable.

Went just to get a place to sleep and park while on holidays and got a gorgeous huge room at hardly more than the cost of parking at the airport. Shuttles are busy so don't miss your ride. Getting your car back is painless if your sure of your return date, otherwise saw a traveler have to wait a bit while they got his car.

It's a nice looking hotel for a night before your flight. Breakfast isn't great but this hotel isn't meant to be a luxury hotel. It's more a sleep and fly type of hotel.

Five stars because this place is a good value. Don't expect them to respond to your every whim, however the place is clean and comfortable. We did get some noise from the floor above, I might have been better off on the top floor.

Rooms are clean and updated but a walk down the hallway will show you the place is run down. The stairwells have holes in the walls and ceiling, and there was at least one window that was broken with nothing done to cover the hole. At least there was no jagged glass. We went to breakfast at 8:30 (breakfast ends at 9) and a very rude lady began announcing to everyone that breakfast closed at 9 and starting breaking things down. By the time 9:00 actually came, everything was already put away and anyone still eating was being told the area was closed. One family actually had to tell her they would leave but after they finished eating their food. Overall not horrible, but not really the quality we expected or paid for.

I got the park sleep fly package. For the price it was quite acceptable. The hotel is run down a little bit but they are making upgrades slowly. Could use a second front desk associate but the woman working it was very efficient and super friendly. The beds we're very comfortable and the room was very clean. I would stay there again.

Stayed here for a short overnight stay before an early morning flight — caught the shuttle for that. Shuttle was cramped, but understandable. Stayed in a single room, 1 King bed. Room was clean, TV was big, bed was comfortable, bedside lamps have very convenient outlets at the base, mini fridge, great pillows. The front desk clerks were very polite and accommodating. Slow elevator. Note: I did not try the restaurant/bar.

I had stayed at this hotel probably 8 years ago several times and knew it wasn't the best place but it hadn't been the worst. I remembered that 7 days of parking was included in the price of the room and the free shuttle to the airport made it so convenient. I booked the room through a major online travel site and looked forward to staying the night so close to the airport and all the conveniences I had experienced before. Upon arrival and check-in I was advised that since our trip was 8 days I was going to be charged for one additional day of parking. I was fine with that and readily gave my credit card. They have also changed the parking procedure and you are now required to leave your vehicle keys with the staff. Once to the room I noted that the rooms have been updated but… everything was cheap. The cabinet doors don't close without jamming them, the wear on the newer furniture was clear and the room door stuck on the carpet when you opened it. The room smelled very stuffy and the bathroom was not clean. We couldn't find the TV remote so I called the front desk. I very friendly employee came to the room twice but was unable to provide us with a working remote. Not the biggest deal but a slight inconvenience. In the morning we packed up and headed down to check out and grab the included breakfast. The food was bad and I have had some cheap CHEAP breakfasts in hotels. The supposedly warm food was cold, the cheese was out of a can and the offerings were lacking.

Conveniently located right next to the airport. Room was clean and nice, wouldve given 5 stars but it just wasnt as clean as I would have liked.

We got a room at the hotel because it supposedly had a three star rating, after staying there I would say it needs to lose a few. The entire hotel smelled terrible due to some painting that was being done, the smell of the room overpowered that though. The bed skirts had some sort of crusty substance on it, and the toilet constantly ran every few minutes. People kept proping the back door open with a brick and leaving it that way so anyone could get into the building. The stairway connected to that door constantly reaked on marijuana and cigarette smoke too. The last night we stayed there there was not a single free parking space. When I was going around the parking lot, the airport shuttle zoomed up to the front door an entirely blocked both lanes, so I had to sit there and wait until the driver unloaded and then loaded it again. I eventually had to park at the hotel next door, which apparently had enough parking spaces for all of its customers. The breakfast was absolutely terrible. When we went in, there were no bowls, plates or eating utensils, we had the choice of stale bread, stale bagels or stale cereal. The oatmeal could have been used as brick mortar and the gravy for the biscuits and gravy looked like elmers glue dissolved in water. Needless to say we won't be going here again.

This hotel was easily accessible. I had a 20 ft truck and a subaru wagon on a dolly and there was enough space around the back to easily park. Clean rooms and very helpful people at the front desk.

Just came for food, no drinks or room. Had the Philly Cheese Steak which was delicious. Fries were unseasoned though (a commodity to some, necessity for me though, iodized salt over-salts everything). Menu lacks flare too, and appetizers among other items are laughably pricy for something to be house made. Probably ordered frozen and fried if I had to guess. Anyways, what I ordered was tasty and would definitely bring me back. Waitress Emily was outstanding (not bad to look at either), and the cook, Gary was a nice guy as well.

Nice hotel. The person at the front desk warned us to stay in at night so I'm assuming the area may be dangerous. But overall nice. Would stay again.

Efficient staff, clean rooms with nice amenities, great bar & restaurant. Happy to have spent the night here.

Staff is friendly, hotel is kind of beaten down. Some door locks are really old and hard to use key cards.

Clean, but I wouldn't want to stay longer than a day. Very busy. The continental breakfast was meh. It did include shuttle to and from the airport. A bonus to staying here is that you can leave your car on the property rather than pay for extended airport parking.

Just a wonderful place to stay. The staff is excellent, rooms are real nice. And the food in their lounge is very good.

Room was in poor condition, dirty, multiple burned out lamps, TV didn't work properly. Had a disagreement with the front desk during check out, rude and disrespectful, would not recommend staying here, plenty of better options at a similar price point and location.
