Great service from Chaquella. Kudos to her because she went the extra mile to accommodate a guest's request. Service like that is not linger common at many places that deal directly with the public. She is an employee worth recognizing and keeping for her efforts to make sire the guests are comfortable and satisfied.

The place is clean and close to the airport. There's a shuttle that runs 24/7 every half an hour. Staff is very friendly and accomidating. The rooms are a bit small but clean and updated. Not many food options around the hotel though. There is free parking for guests.

To my surprise my room was ready at about 11 am, although check in was at 3, so I was able to check into my room early which saved me a lot of time. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and taken care of. The restaurant next door had good food, though the service there was a bit slow.

Urban grill next door has good food, gym and pool access is hard to get into because of bugged keys but well equipped. Very soft beds and comfortable rooms.

Good hotel if you stay on Romulus, it's pretty close to the airport. The service is not the best but not bad either. It has plenty of shops around so you won't have to move too much. It's definitely a good option.

Tv’s could be bigger. But I loved my stay. Great hospitality service.

Absolutely love this hotel. They always have fresh linens and the showers are amazing. I felt the rooms are generally very clean as well. Front desk staff are very kind. The restaurant is a great place to grab a beer or meal too.

The front desk lady went out of her way to find use a handicapped king size bed room at 1:30 AM as we tried to escape a 3 day power outage. The room was clean, cozy and a blessing.

Very Father Hotel! The rooms are beautiful, the hotel is in perfect condition, the facilities are in perfect condition, it has an excellent location for when you are going to take a flight as this super close to the airport, ideal for when you travel and salts at high hours Of the Night.

Its nice. Free airport shuttle every 15-30 minutes. There's breakfast and snacks available to purchase in the lobby area. The only reason for four stars, is that they did not have enough toiletries for our group (we checked-in around midnight).

Room was at the perfect temperature and pillows were very fluffy. I slept like a baby. Hotel is only 5 minutes away from the airport — very convenient for an early morning flight.

Friendly staff clean and quiet. Airport parking right across the street. They even sold a package that included parking highly recommend.

Ok so this hotel is new, clean looks fancy, it's also over priced for the fact that they don't offer any free breakfast! They have attached (Fancy restaurant) which is not fancy at all, it's very expensive which didn't matter to us cos it was one night and we wanted to treat ourselves, after ordering the food the waitress mixed up up the order, brought a different wine, missed two side dishes then brought them later, next day we went to have breakfast there, it was around 9.30 there was one waitress who still arranging the tables, we expected to see better service! but to be honest when the food arrived it tasted great!

Rooms walls are paper thin you can here everything! Right by airport so planes landing and taking off super loud. Good luck sleeping.

I really like the hotel… the staff is usually amazing, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Though, when I stay there I don't have a car… and there is absolutely nothing to do nearby. So, if you're staying here for business… perfect!

Very disappointed. Their shuttle refused to take me to the airport. Apparently they will only go to each airline every 30 minutes. So it left with 2 people and refused to change terminals. They failed to tell me this on the shuttle ride to the hotel, at check in, or check out. There are no posted signs. On check in, I was told that the shuttle comes right away. I have now been waiting 30 minutes and this delay will effect my check in. Would have taken an uber but shuttles came and left, with the promise of a few minutes wait.

If you are looking for a place where nothing works and people don't seem to care stop looking. Your search has ended. If you want to wake up call you should go elsewhere if you want to clock radio that works you should go elsewhere if you want good service at the restaurant you should go elsewhere.

Very nice staff and lobby appearance but know stairs for those of us who dont like elevators.

Awful. The room wasn't stocked well at all, the restaurant took for ever and didn't cook my steak the way I asked for it either time but brought me a cold potato both times. The manager who came to the table to offer us a refund was very sarcastic.

The rooms are very clean and nice. I had a big room with two double beds. Located very close to the airport. Few restaurants with in walking distance. Had an indoor pool and hot tub. Decent fitness center. Update: 7/31/2017 The gym equipment seem to be in bit of disrepair. The workout benches adjustments are broken and unable to adjust. Most treadmills have broken pieces. (Mostly cosmetic)

I was stranded overnight in Detroit from a missed connection and was given a room at this hotel. It was late, and I was very grateful the restaurant was open so late (1am on a Monday). The room was very nice and the staff was always pleasent.

Nice hotel. Nice decor, clean and the staff is service oriented. Would have given 5 stars, but half the tiles are off the canopy over the entrance. Rained on me as I entered and when I went to smoke. Management needs to address that. If I get a reply with a plan, I'll change this to 5

I found the Holiday Inn to be very comfortable. I enjoyed the large bathroom with a walk in shower and slept very well in the king size bed.

I stay here every time I'm working at the Detroit airport. It has the best staff and is extremely clean.

They will literally rob you without a gun! I stayed there for 6 nights revently. As I was packing to check out on the 6th day the toilet got plugged up with tissue that I used. It didn't overflow. There wasn't bodily waste in it. It just simply wouldn't fully flush. I went to check out and made sure to inform the girl at the desk of the toilet being plugged up. She said, "Oh, no problem, I'll get maintenance and housekeeping up there". Fast forward to two days later when I'm at home nearly 700 miles away and I get a text alert from my financial institution saying that $729.00 plus had been deducted from the credit card I used to check in with for that plugged up tiolet. Utterly ridiculous! I could've fixed that toilet with a $2.00 plunger and would have if they kept one in the bathroom. If I had still been a guest they would've fixed the problem fast and thought nothing of it. Now that I've checked out they pull this sneaky move and charge this exorbitant and outrageous fee to my card for a simple stopped up toilet. I will be on a campaign now to let the world know about these crooks called the Holiday Inn in Romulus, Michigan.

The service was great, and my room was wonderful and comfortable.

Nice place to overnight for an early flight the next morning. Ask about the Park — Sleep — Fly program. It has save us a ton.

Wouldn't even give it a one star. The girl they have answering the phone there is VERY RUDE. Hung up on me twice and that was to talk to her supervisor! rude rude rude! told me not to call that hiday in nomore! i will be talking to her supervisor! she there… nobody should even stsy at a place where the phone call to get a supervisor because of theft from employees! — —! employees!

Got stuck at Detroit airport and we made a reservation online about an hour before getting to the hotel. Hotel had our reservation ready and checked us in quickly. Provided a shuttle to the airport and was on time.
