Beats pitching a tent. We slept well, that's what matters. Not awful, but there are probably better ones.

I love the Days Inn Fort Dodge! They have the best service, my room is comfortable and Amber at the desk is awesome! She always takes care of me! Thank you!

Even though they need more help the employees did an awesome job with anything needed.

I arrived about an hour ago, but unless I'm suddenly wowed before leaving tomorrow morning, I think this review will stand. I've stayed here every time I come to Fort Dodge and always liked it, but it's gone way downhill. The employees seem to be trying but I'm guessing the owners aren't. Anyway, don't assume you'll get a remote for your TV. I asked for one, was told there were no batteries, BOUGHT MY OWN BATTERIES, and the remote didn't work any way. I think the mattresses are original to when it was built. I have a reservation in June but I doubt I'll be keeping it. Fortunately I'm not staying here long. Friendly staff, rooms appear clean. That's about it. Disappointing.

Showers suck, either ice cold or so hot you could boil lobsters in them, staff trys to accommodate you but owners don't seem to care.

Very nice, quite, clean rooms! My husband n I came to Fort Dodge for a meeting n made it into mini vacation for us. Wonderful comfortable bed I haven't sleep this good in long time. Enjoyed stay!

Employees are pleasant. Location was great for where we were going. Room was clean and tidy.

I love the experience I’ve had at the days in The Staff are always nice April is very people friendly and will go out of her way to make sure we’re takeing care if she’s always very professional and enjoys her Job… amber is also is very professional and ppl friendly she also always has the answer to any questions one may have and if not doesn’t mind to help these lady’s deserve a bonus.

Reserved the room with Hot tub and fridge and microwave. Hot tub plug busted, deadbolt wouldn't lock. Sofa bed springs busted daughter almost fell through. If it wasn't for the one lady up front Amber would of been a nightmare. Headboard nasty hadn't been wipes down see peoples greasey head marks! And all they did was take 10 dollars off! Never again!

The heater in our room broke and had to spend the night in — 26 degree weather in a room with no heat. They did not offer to move us till the next day. Our truck died so had to stay a few extra days due to repairs. When we complained they moved our room and gave is a twenty dollar credit. The new rooms heater was also broken but in the way where it would not go under 90 degrees unless you shut it off. We also had next to no sleep as the police were banging on doors trying to find the cannabis smoker and then a medical emergency across the hall and then random guy knocking on the neighboring door all night. When we called to complain they did nothing. We were made to wait for a repair man that never came for two days. And the new room was horrible too. And for four days of next to no sleep and freezing and getting sick we received a twenty dollar refund. I will never stay there again… I am a paraplegic and was forced to have a non Ada room because I have a service dog as well… If you are handicapped don't stay here.

The first two nights we had no heat. Third and fourth nights they moved us to a new room, the heat worked be no thermostat control, the room got too hot. No hot water in bathroom sink. The bedding was dirty. Not enough food was made during normal breakfast times. Half thePlugs in lamps didn't work.

Literally the WORST hotel experience I have ever had in my life DO NOT GO HERE! The “GM” so he says he is was the rudest person I have ever met in my life. He would Not let us rent a room keep in mind I am 24 years old with my 2 young children under 5 years old and my roommate who is 18. We drove 4 hours and reserved a room at this hotel on Expedia so we would have somewhere to spend the night at till we could drive back home. He refused because she was 18 however I am 24! It makes no sense at all why we couldn’t stay when I’m of age and had my kids with me. He was very rude came outside to tell me before I even asked him if I could just reserve a new room that we needed to leave before he called the cops. We did NOTHING WRONG! This all happened in less then 5 minutes. I even called back asking to speak with the general manager and of course he answered the phone and he either lied saying he was the gm or he refused to let me speak to the gm. He instantly started arguing with me and got very rude once again. He would not let me file a complaint or anything. I have never dealt with this before period. This was unacceptable he could have handled the situation completely different. I have filed a complaint on BBB and called the headquarters office. AnywAys I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel to ANYONE. So my kids and I were left trying to find another hotel within our price range af the last minute. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! If I could give them 0 stars I WOULD!

Worst experience ever! My Jacuzzi king suite reservation was denied 4 weekends in a row. Manager finally paid for me to stay at a motel in the next town. Never again will I book at a Days Inn! Rated at a negative 9!

Ok to start it smells bad food dirty rooms and they changed are rate from 60 to 80 then once we left the charged us 400 for no reason. Do not stay.

We love it when we come here. Its quiet and relaxing with a friendly staff. Kim, Amber, and Jeffrey are the friendliest staff that we've ever come across at any Days Inn.

The room was super clean and comfy, location is good and conveniantly located within walking distance of Walmart. Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

Uniquely flawed but cozy and welcoming. Wednesday night dinners and every morning breakfast were wonderful.

We arrived at 8:20pm on a Tuesday night. It took two times of me calling "hellooooo" for the surly front desk person to come from the back office. She checked us in and got our room keys. She then said, "I'll go with you to make sure the room really isn't occupied. " (That should have been the point I turned around and left. ) We went to the room; the door was ajar and a light was on. She walked in, glanced around, returned to the hallway and looked one way, then the other. She said, "it's empty". We moved past the boxes piled near the door and went in, and quickly bolted the door. The decorating was interesting; lime green wall, yellow flower bedspreads. The TV was askew, at an odd angle. One lightbulb above the vanity was blown out. There was this stain/hole above the shower. Had we not needed to sleep and leave early in the a. M. We would have gone elsewhere. Although the people shooting off Roman candles outside the window was quite noisy, we slept and left. Two positives: the morning front desk clerk was nice, listened to my complaints. And the toilet paper was two-ply. I'll never return.

Definitely the best place around. Even from 1000 miles away… which is where I am from.

Not my first choice for Fort Dodge, but much better then some options. Friendly, hard working staff, helped make our stay as easy as possible. Only one person seemed to be less than enthused to deal with customers, but given her age she may have been in a summer job she regretted getting. Breakfast has more options than I expected. Nothing out of the ordinary these days, but it was nice to have the options considering the relatively cheap price of the room. My only gripe was the seating. There never seemed to be enough room for the few people who were eating. The rooms were okay but a little on the small side. The beds were narrow and much harder than I would like.

The facilities are immaculate, including our room. We had a whirlpool suite, which was spacious and comfortable. I loved that it included a full size refrigerator and a microwave. Breakfast was continental with waffles and biscuits and gravy. They had sugar free syrup available, which my diabetic husband appreciated. The clerk who checked us in was friendly, but new, and inadvertently charged my credit card twice, but the manager was on duty in the morning, and she refunded the extra charge. I would definitely stay here again. I think it is the best option in Fort Dodge.

After a long drive in the hottest day ever I was so pleased to find such a good place to stay. Front desk staff was excellent and friendly. The room was very nice and quiet. Breakfast is another thing to complement on; besides regular continental stuff they had biscuit and gravy and waffles too. If I am in this town again, I will be definitely staying at Days Inn.

I made a reservation for a non smoking room with two double beds. I had their confirmation of my reservation with me and they had the reservation in their computer. However, they overbooked and did not have my room available. They said they had a smoking double bed room, no big deal. When we walked into our room there were people ALREADY IN THE ROOM. We ended up having to take a King size bed room and only got a 10% discount off, which is a joke after what transpired. We had no other choice because it was late and all other hotels were booked. Luckily for them, I'm laid back and didn't make a big deal out it, but I certainly had a right to. I will never stay here again.
